When you randomly weigh your little dog and she's suddenly half a kg lighter than expected/her ideal weight. Guess who's getting more food now.

Cats mean like delinquents
Tumblr media
Vagastorm as cats
Tumblr media
Wc: 730
Alan
A Maine coon that you found wounded in the street, barely standing up while he fought six other cats. After you scared them away he fell down and put no resistance when you picked him up and brought him home.
At first he is so skittish of touch he attempts to hide under your bed or wardrobe but his size doesn't allow him which makes him nervous so please buy him a box or something so he feels safe, he will come out eventually when he gets attached to you.
First cat you know that willingly sits through cutting his nails, even if you don't know it, that is because once when playing he punctured your skin with his claws enough to draw blood and when he attempted to lick it to make you feel better his paper sand tongue made you recoil away.
Even if he is around Leo most of the time for the sake of reducing possible damages, he seems to have taken a soft spot for Sho choosing him as his usual play fight partner, even if he is so young he gets tired easily while he catches his breath Alan licks any scratches he might have gotten, and teaching him to hunt the multitude of mouse toys
Just like Thoma he also whips the kittens into good behavior but he isn't as fast to swipe at them, preferring to hiss for a nice while. If they don't comply he will bite the scruff if their neck and wrangle them around. Leo is there most of the time. If any of the kittens claw you or bite hard then that is when they face mighty claw punch (it's just swiping a paw at them but given he is a 11kg cat and the kittens are around 1kg so it usually stumbles them off their paws)
Never really a clingy cat but a protective one, if there are guests he hasn't met before and they touch even your shoulder he bites their hand before settling in your lap or between you two until they leave.
Leo
A classic English shorthair with a slightly lighter coat than usual.
The most Instagram able cat ever, as soon as he sees a camera he starts acting all cute and innocent. Sometimes he lets you put him in clothes but only enough for the photoshoot.
But just because he is cute doesn't mean he is nice, the littlest shit possible, meowing at any closed doors only to turn around when you open them, step on your laptop and face and chew your clothes.
Won't even look at you if you attempt to play with him, no matter how skillfully you move that feather, don't feel too bad! He almost doesn't play with the other cats too, either.
Makes Sho aid him in his mischief entraining you, his biggest attempted hit was going to be the salmon on your counter but luckily Alan dragged him back down before any paw or teeth touched it.
If you think you can eat anything at night alone, think again. Where Alan and Sho are heavy sleepers Leo seemingly can hear anything inside the house even if he is sleeping on the second floor and you are munching on biscuits. In his eyes you can see him threaten to wake the others unless you give him a treat so you two end up eating together.
Sho
A Turkish angora who got rehomed after he started picking fights with his big brother.
When he came home with Leo they were a problematic duo for you and Alan, Sho would entertain you with something while Leo attempted to push things out of the table or be a nuisance.
It's only when Leo is at the vet for eating something he shouldn't or getting glass stuck in his paw (don't feel sorry for him, he threw a glass and accidentally stepped on it) that you can see he is actually a nice kitty who happens to have a bad influence friend.
He really likes getting his hair brushed, and has just enough of it to be put on a ponytail and he will allow you to put accessories but nothing too flashy.
When you cook he stares from the oven, enjoying the warmth and the show.
His new favorite spot is under your bed, he goes there whenever Alan is too tiring and because he is so big can barely poke his head in.

Introducing our beautiful Aes Sedai ….
Esnaem Tumblragoran :)
(For her first name say it out loud, and I’ll take an extreme liberty making “agoran” a Malkieri suffix much like “nhald” is Taraboner and “ghan” is Cairhien)
And thank you to the 750 (!) people who voted! Let’s break it down!
We’ve already voted her into Malkieri heritage from our previous poll. From the top of this poll she was solidly voted into the Grey Ajah. The Ajahs corresponding to a lesser vote percentage were at a disadvantage due to the meta game of trying to vote her evil, but I’m happy she settled into a slightly less represented Ajah. She was Black for a good chunk of the time which lead to some of my favourite tags:
Tumblr media
Age was a little trickier to assign, keeping in mind her Malkieri heritage needs her to be at least say, 50 to 60. So that vote percentage of a total lifespan doesn’t really make sense, so I think easiest thing is just to move that decimal place and make her 96 years old.
Personality wise she’s haughty about half again as much as she is serene which, yknow, fits.
Strength in the Power was a bit challenging as you all know that RJ’s wack leveling system puts Lanfear at level 1 and the highest, so MORE votes would make her weaker in this regard. Helpfully, the Thirteenth Repository has a power level chart that fits better here. If we round her up to Level 8, it makes her powerful enough to travel and puts her on par with such channellers as Verin, Alviarin, Alanna, Annoura, Meidani, and Seonid.
We did it everyone, we voted her to be TWENTY FIVE percent tits. Leading again to another favourite tag.
Tumblr media
We voted her into the 6.3 percentile for height, which correlates to about 4’11 and a quarter (the quarter is very important) for the average woman. I looked up general weight range for this height and went with 45kg, which means she’s about 11kg of boobs so uh. Yeah. I tried looking up weight of breast size which I don’t think is even really a thing but the chart I found capped out at 1.5kg per H cup breast. Idk like I said before short and stacked. Fun fact the last screenshot I have of the early poll results show it took over 75 votes before anybody started voting for height which to me was even funnier than the bosom sweep.
She’s got about 5% vote for angreal so let’s give her five angreal of her very own, perhaps even some Malkieri artifacts she is preserving.
She has 8.5% vote for Warders, which is a challenge considering she’s Grey. To keep with the Ajah rules perhaps she only has one officially bonded Warder, but is caretaking a gaggle of aging Malkieri soldiers that are joked to be her Warders.
Most importantly, she has been voted about 21 pillowfriends. Another fun fact this is a higher number than confirmed pillowfriends and lesbians in WoT (I counted something like 18 from the wiki) so girl gets around.
And there you have her, Esnaem Tumblragoran, gilf Malkieri Sister of the Grey Ajah

MOST ICONIC BIRD CALL BRACKET: ROUND ONE: WILD TURKEY vs. COMMON GRACKLE
IN THE BLUE CORNER, we have the grim gobbler, the harbinger of the harvest, the wild turkey!
weighing in at up to 11kg/24lbs, this heavyweight of the bird world is not to be underestimated. unlike its domesticated cousins, this bulky combatant is an agile flier, able to soar into the trees to roost at night. you'll recognize this unforgettable bird by its famous gobble, a noise loud enough that it can be heard up to a mile away. its opponent better be ready to reap what it sows, because the wild turkey is fighting to win!
IN THE RED CORNER, it's time to make some noise for our next competitor. hailing from backyards across north america, it's the one and only common grackle!
with a piercing gaze that can intimidate even the most seasoned wrestlers, the common grackle is a force to be reckoned with in the ring. it's a master of intimidation and knows how to use that to its advantage. this bird's call is metallic and harsh, being compared to a power line buzzing. so get ready, because the common grackle is here to prove that it's the baddest bird in the business. are you ready to witness the power of the grackle?

This is my obligatory new year's post 🎉
I started last year hoping I would lose the last 11kg from my original plan and a couple more. I wanted to finish 2024 weighting 50kg. But here I am, oscillating between 53 and 54. This might be because, although I kept eating healthy, in the last three or four months of the year I only managed to go to the gym a couple of times per week instead of four times, which has been my routine.
Or maybe that's the weight my body feels comfortable in. I've been thinking about that for a while now. Maybe that's it, maybe that 50kg goal weight I planned is not the healthiest for me. I don't know. But I realized something: I'm okay if that's the case. I'm happy with my body, I'm comfortable in this weight. It feels good, feels natural for me. So I decided something.
I'm not focusing on losing weight anymore. I've lost almost 20kg since August 2023 and I'm happy with that! Now I'm working towards getting stronger and being a better runner. Maybe I will lose more weight or maybe I will gain some muscle weight. It doesn't matter.
I feel like I got what I wanted! It's been a success! Now to the next goal: run more! I haven't decided what this will mean in numbers for this year yet. But I'll keep updating this blog because, even though I don't post that much, I've been having fun with it.
I wish everyone a great 2025!

February 13, 2024.
I've NEVER lost weight this fast before. Yesterday I was 68,1kg? And now I'm 66,6kg! Bro I love fasting SO much 😭❤
I only have less than three days left till I'm done with the 7 day fast. So far, I've lost around 6kg I think. I'm gonna be extremely careful after breaking this fast so I don't gain it all back and more. I'm gonna start with soup (preferably broth but I wouldn't be able to do that) and then move from there for atleast three days so my stomach gets used to digesting food again.
I've lost 11kg since I started on tumblr. I've lost more before then too, but considering I joined y'all on here January 2nd, I think it's extremely good ❤

Workout - Conditioning Week
So far this week I've worked out almost everyday:
Sun: 5KM (Cycle)
Mon: 5KM (Cycle)
Tue: 2KM (Cycle)
Thu: 2.5KM (Cycle) + Weights
I haven't been consistent with working out in more than a year and I feel so weak. I used to lift my dumbbells with ease but last night was very challenging. I'm not doing any splits, just sticking to cardio and full-body strength training.
It's not my first time getting back into a routine and I know it takes me personally about 2-3 weeks to recondition my body to what I consider my max.
My goal is to not only return to my max strength, mobility and stamina but also to surpass it.
This is the routine I follow just because these are my favourite exercises:
Warmup
Light cardio (jogging/cycling) (5-6 mins)
High knee march (30 sec.)
Butt kickers (30 sec.)
Forward leg swings (10 ea. side)
Rotating toe touches (5-6 reps)
Body weight Squats (6 reps)
B/ward Lunges (5 ea. side)
Jumping Jacks (25 reps)
Walkdown to plant (3-4 reps)
Strength Training
Full Body Routine - Use two 11kg Dumbbells
Squats (2x10)
Romanian Deadlifts (2x10)
Shoulder Press (use 1 dumbbell or drop weight) (2x10)
Floor Press (2x10)
Knee Push Ups (2x10)
Cool Down
Full body stretch routine

Guess who's back! That's right folks, it's your favourite educator for plants and fungus! I apologise for my long absence, I could make a dozen excuses but to keep it short and basic, ADHD!
In order to make it up to you lot, I have a devised a plan! I will post every day this month (October 2024) with a spooky plant, since it's Halloween at the end, aka spooky time! How does that sound?!
Today, we're starting off spooky month with Amorphophallus Titanum, or commonly called the Titan Arum, or the corpse flower! It's a marvel of a plant, growing in a strange way, at least through the eyes of a European! It's found in the wild only in the rainforests of Sumatra, typically on limestone hills, but is unfortunately hard to come by, due to deforestation and land degradation!
The flowers of Amorphophallus Titanum are very tiny, but grow together to form what's known as an inflorescence, which grows to an average height of 2 metres tall! The inflorescence is made up of an inner flower spike, called a Spadix, and an outer petal-like collar, called a Spathe! The Spathe is usually a cream-green colour on the outside, but a very deep burgundy on the inside, with a deeply grooved texture!
The flowers are located at the bottom of the Spadix and grow on the same inflorescence, making it monoecious! The flowers are pollinated by insects, but not how you'd normally think! It's not done by bees, or butterflies, or wasps! It's done by... Flies! And a species of beetle known as a carrion beetle! Now you may be wondering why flies and carrion beetles are interested in a flower, so I'll tell you! It's because, as the name suggests, the corpse flower smells like a corpse! Gross! It produces dimethyldisulfide and dimethyltrisulfide, both containing sulfur, and this both smelling foul!
When the insects do pollinate the female flowers, they'll develop bright red and orange fruits, similar to berries, but don't eat them! When this happens, the inflorescence actually does back, all the way to root, and a single leaf and stem pokes out! It starts growing like a tree, up and up, with white speckles, sprouting new leafs as it goes, which are incredibly large, and the plant photosynthesises! And all of this energy being produced, goes to making one of the largest tubers in the wild, weight at up to 25 pounds, or 11kg!
If you wanted to see one, and didn't want to hike and explore the Sumatran rainforest, you can check out Kew gardens, or the United states botanical garden! In fact, Kew gardens have a record about it! They recorded the first corpse flower flowering outside of Sumatra, back in 1889! This itself is quite amazing, but moreso because the Amorphophallus Titanum is very rare to actually flower! It can take years and when it does, it only lasts a couple of days, 3 at most! When it flowered for a second time, in 1926, it attracted crowds so large, the police had to be called for crowd control!
Additionally, the inflorescence produces it's own heat, making the plant even more believable to be a fresh corpse, as well as it's colours! Such a trickster! All in all, the heat and hills make the scent carry for up to half a mile away! Wouldn't want this in your neighbours garden! Or a garden across town! The scent however, is only emitted in a single evening!
As much as it smells awful and and attracts a lot of flies and carrion beetles, it is still very important to remember, all plants are precious, and need as much effort to keep alive as possible, even the corpse flower! Habitat destruction and degradation has caused the Amorphophallus Titanum to become classified as endangered by the IUCN (international union for conservation of nature), meaning it is at a very high risk of becoming extinct in the wild! Please do what you can to protect all plants and fungus and animals as possible!
Overall, the Amorphophallus Titanum, or corpse flower, makes for a great first entry to our spooky plant list this month! I hope you enjoyed reading about it, and if you did, like, comment, reblog this post and follow for more spooky plants this month! Without any further delay, here it is!

Hallow b-mod journal 2
Tuesday July 2, 2024
Had another town/creek trail walk. Took a few days off of focused training because we were pet sitting and then she had some GI upset (thought I could switch her dry food to the dry version of the wet food she already eats without issue. I WAS WRONG lol.) She’s mostly feeling better but was still a bit sluggish.
We had an almost identical repeat of an off leash dog situation that I described in the last post. We might have to find a new stationary spot for training. Never had issues at this spot until I started journaling her training, lol. I guess I jinxed it. Hallow lit up in the moment but recovered and went back to her baseline the rest of the outing. Hard to say if that’s because she truly didn’t care once the encounter was over or if it’s because her energy is a little down.
We saw fewer dogs today. I’d say when we were stationary and walking she initiated training about 50% of the time. There were only two times when she fixated that I needed to initiate and step in.
Today was a pretty good illustration of what kinds of dogs bother her. She didn’t initiate training in the presence of any dogs under about 25 lbs (11kgs). Three small dogs reacted towards her and she straight up did not care. Pretty typical- she is much less concerned with small dogs in general (and even with small dogs she knows she has markedly lower-arousal around them). One of the times she fixated was on a large shepherd type dog who was quite far away and was not paying any attention to her. Again, par for the course as she does not like large, pointy, stare-y dogs such as shepherds, collies, and huskies.
At the end of the walk we passed by a group of three young men who were raising money for a non-profit. They asked if they could pet her. Hallow has been more social with people lately so I’ve been trying out a new thing where I leave it up to her to decide whether she says hi” rather than outright turning people down (this still depends on age/vibes. I still say no if it’s a kid under about 10 or if the situation/energy is not ideal). I told them they could pet if she approached them. She had absolutely no interest in two of the men but was VERY affectionate with the third one. No idea why! She is such a particular dog but it made us all laugh and was a positive experience.
Overall a good day. I am including a video below of a bit of an “oops” on my part. We were walking down Main Street. It was super crowded with people. As a default hallow walks either in front of me or to my right. Towards the end of the video there was a border collie to the right of the camera (about 2 feet away from hallow) that was laying down by a table. I am usually pretty good about scanning but I didn’t see it until we were on top of it since it was a black dog, in a shadow, and there were some visual obstructions. This is a bigger trigger for hallow due to the breed and she dislikes passing stationary dogs in close quarters. Had I noticed it in advance I would have switched her to my left side and fed her through passing it. No time for that today! It’s quiet in the video but I told her “leave it” twice and we went on our way. It’s clear she was a bit stressed but she recovered just fine. I try to avoid giving verbal corrections but it’s just one of those situations where it was necessary to keep her moving. Alls well that ends well.

I just realized I only lost amount of weight IF I have competitor (or s/o I recognized as one) while dieting, Im such a big competitive bich I hate to see s/o lose/win more than me. However I won't ever try ruin their effort though someone has tried to ruin mine.
First 3 months I lose 11kg (or so, my sw around 81-83kg) I keep tracking my exercise and calorie intake with my cousin who was happen to go on diet too. I took the whole process very very religiously, meanwhile her well not quite into it. Then I stop losing for 4months, I didn't gain fortunately yet still very frustrating.
In October my sister said she was gaining and can feel her uniform getting tighter, so I suggested her to go on a diet. I lose around 5kg until November end, and as you can guess I back to plateau phase again a.k.a lack of competitiveness for 4months. It can't be a coincidence that I only lose weight when I practically doing a diet with a partner right?
Again it has been very very hard times to started a new year, I only wish I can lose more 🥹 I mean it's good that I didn't regain, but it'd be better if I can lose some another kgs 🥹

MY CARNIVORE STORY
As the temperatures drop, and the holidays approach, many of us find ourselves struggling to maintain our diets and exercise routines. However, for some individuals, winter is the perfect time to make positive changes, especially when it comes to transitioning to a carnivore diet.
For those unfamiliar, the carnivore diet consists of eating only meat, fish, and animal products, such as eggs and dairy. Advocates of the diet claim it can help with weight loss, energy regulation, and improved mental clarity.
I recently started the carnivore diet in December and managed to lose an impressive 11kg by March. Remarkably, I found retaining my strength, gaining endurance, and experiencing no energy drop-offs; quite an achievement for transitioning to a meat-only diet during the winter months.
So, how did I do it?
First and foremost, I ensured my diet was balanced by consuming different types of meat. I used  beef, pork, and chicken. I also focused on consuming high-quality meat, opting for grass-fed and organic sources where possible.
Furthermore, I was careful to consume enough fat. While it may seem counter-intuitive, consuming enough fat is crucial to providing the body with energy and keeping one satiated. Since my meals were purely meat , I made sure to add enough fat to their meat, such as cooking with butter and adding cheese when i was under my desired level of fat.
Finally, i was mindful of hydration levels, drinking plenty of water and mineral supplements to prevent any electrolyte imbalances.
In conclusion, transitioning to a carnivore diet during the winter months may seem daunting to some, but with the right approach, it can prove to be a successful way to shed weight, improve energy levels, and even improve physical performance. However, like any diet, maintaining balance and consuming high-quality sources of meat and fat is crucial to success. With the right approach, you too can achieve impressive results on this unconventional diet.

Why Young Parents Are Susceptible To Lower Back Pain
When lower back pain begins, maybe you need to seek advice from a chiropractor and book for lower back pain treatment in Northern Quarter Manchester. You may previously have been given the usual advice to stop normal physical activities for the first few days in order for the inflammation to have time to calm down in the affected area and let the symptoms subside. However, when you are a young parent and your baby or toddler needs picking up, which is inevitable, then this “rest period” is unlikely to happen! Lower back pain treatment in Manchester will resolve the issue in the short term and show you how to avoid it recurring.
Tumblr media
Although an estimated 85% of people experience back pain, you probably did not expect it to affect you when you are young. You thought that back pain was a complaint affecting older people! It is true that it is largely lifestyle factors which contribute towards lower back pain. Anything can be the root cause, such as sitting on an office chair that does not offer proper support, or alternatively a manual job where you carry excessive weights which add strain on the lower back, causing long term pain and discomfort. But as the estimated figures for how many times a mother lifts a child a day show, this potentially can be a major cause of pain. This is why our chiropractors treat mums and dads for their lower back pain treatment in Manchester City Centre.
Lifting baby means this…….
The average new-born baby weighs 2.7 kg – 4.5 kg(6 to 10 lbs),and by the time of their second birthday they may weigh 11kg to 14kg (25 to 30 lbs). A parent lifts a baby up to 50 times, for feeding, bathing, and moving them from one place to another as you perform your daily pattern.Add to that the time spent just bending over to check on the child. That of course assumes that there is only one child, but there is possibly another sibling. It’s time to try lower back pain treatment near Manchester City Centre.
Tumblr media
Maybe other kinds of heavy lifting are the culprits
You may be seeking lower back pain treatment near Northern Quarter Manchester because it is conveniently located to your place or work, possibly on one of the building sites currently found around this part of the city, where your aches and originate from that heavy lifting on the site. Whatever the reason for visiting us, we are confident that one of our chiropractors will find the reasons for your lower back pain. Treatment near Manchester is within your grasp!
