it appalls me that so many people decided that emmie and josephines relationship arent worth talking about in the toa series because you dont like the fact that emmie and josephine left the hunters of artemis because i feel that its all too fitting for the overarching series like it can also be paralleled with percy and annabeth too- percy was offered godhood in the last olympian and rejected it for annabeth and his family and friends and is the percy jackson series not about how all the demigods truly have is each others comraderie and love and emmie and josephines story also reflects this because instead of power and carefree immortal lives doing errands for a goddess they looked at each other and said i choose you instead. is that not a beautiful love language like oh my god i need to sit down or somethin

the way that percy jackson fans read (or lets be honest just didnt read) the beautiful story of emmie and josephine choosing to leave the huntresses of artemis (an interpretation as the hunt being similar to a peter pan like situation where girls go to escape the responsibility of growing older) and giving up an endless life as adolescents because they were so in love that they threw their god-granted immortality and additional godly strength to instead get married and grow old together, and interpreted it as "artemis is homophobic and kicked them out of the hunt for being lesbians" is truly. 🤡🤡🤡🤡
