It’s season 3 of the PJO show AKA The Titans Curse. Percy (Walker) is sitting in front of Aphordite Goddess of Love and Beauty who just so happens to look like an older version of his best friend Annabeth (Leah) totally unrelated we’re sure.

Then he blinks and the beautiful woman in front of him changes….now she has brown hair and blue eyes she smiles, its Alexandria Daddario movie Annabeth. Just a split second cameo and then she’s gone.

Now a different woman is sitting in front of Percy, a woman with blonde hair and hazel eyes Kristen Stokes Lightning Thief Musical Annabeth. She shifts and changes again.

The final and last woman we see before Percy has curly blonde hair, tanned skin, and stormy grey eyes it’s book Annabeth.

Percy doesn’t realise it but we do. The Goddess of love shows him every version of the girl he loves from every universe he loves her in. It’s beautiful, it’s cinema, it needs to happen.

I never fully realised how heartbreaking this "I choose the prophecy" thing is. Imagine you are Annabeth. Imagine you are fourteen and the boy you have a crush on since over a year just broke literally any rule, travelled across the whole country and held the dam sky to save you, and you hear him say: "I'm gonna die in two years, because otherwise this poor little boy would have to carry the burden of the prophecy and I can't let this happen."

Edit: I feel like y'all still aren't sobbing enough, so I'd also like to remind you that six months later, Annabeth goes into the labyrinth and gets the prophecy "and your love will face a fate worse than death".

Book 3 Percabeth is insane like 😭 in "We Visit the Junkyard of the Gods" Percy spent three paragraphs talking about how Aphrodite was the most beautiful woman he's ever seen and the fourth paragraph started with "she looked like Annabeth"

After the Titan’s Curse, Artemis presents a gray stripe in her hair to match Annabeth and Percy whenever she sees them. She has great respect for the two of them after the Titan’s Curse. So whenever she sees them she has the gray stripe to represent their shared burden of holding up the sky.

Friendly reminder that Nico Di Angelo as a child, loved pirates and Greek mythology.

Imagine a 10 year old Nico getting excited that the Greek gods exist, then finding out that he gets to learn how to sword fight just like pirates do. (He was so excited he ended up cutting his leg resulting in a scar)

And now imagine all that excitement disappear when he learns that he can never show his big sister what he learnt.

if luke had succeeded in recruiting percy. the best role percy could have been was the spy. going on a quests under the guise of a hero. sabotaging collective plans under the guise of impulsiveness. sending information back to luke through IM. relishing in the naievity of his peers that they'll win the soon-to-come war. and he's sure he's making the right decision. until bianca dies. until the one thing luke promised him would never happen happens. and just as the tides of the battle changes. just as the heroes see that luke is willing to kill. percy faith in luke begins to waver.

Let me explain why every time I get to this scene in Battle of the Labyrinth, I have to fight back tears. In the Titan’s Curse, Percy knows absolutely NOTHING about the stars, even going so far as to call Ursa Major the “bear thing." However, by the time he’s on Calypso’s island, Percy is able to identify the constellations with ease. It’s such a small scene, yet it manages to tell us so much about Percy as a character. This is a 15-year-old boy who, after losing someone he knew only for a moment, has gone out of his way to learn about something that was important to her. He's made the effort to learn about this so he can preserve her memory and know exactly where Zoe is now that she's no longer with him.

don't mind me, I'm just cracking up at the fact that there are mermaids who think of Mr perseus jackson, hero of olympus, as their personal nail technician 😂

and it's not even implied that he refuses to do so, so I can just IMAGINE some random boys from school being like "hey bro, what are you doing this afternoon 🤟🤙😎" and this lil 14 year old boy being like "....... nail care 💅"

i feel like we don’t talk about this scene from the titan’s curse enough, because i think about this a lot. like… a lot. the way he was just like ‘oh i can move faster than bullets, that’s cool’, and then immediately moved on and never thought about it again?? i mean, i knew he could SWIM at mach 5, which is…. hypersonic speed, and equivalent to 3836 miles per hour. and i know all demigods are naturally a bit faster than humans. but like… he can move faster than bullets?

i guess i just wasn’t expecting perseus to go all spider-man on me, that’s all

I don't care about Nico and Bianca's casting. I care about watching Thalia get so angry at Bianca for leaving her little brother when she never got a second chance with her own. I care about the look on her face when Percy tells her that Bianca is joining the hunters. I care about her looking over the San Francisco skyline and coming to terms with the fact that her not-so-little sister doesn't need her anymore, and she will never see her little brother again, even though he is only a few miles away. I care about those being the things that convince her to join the Hunt. I care about her seeing Jason in Nico's eyes.
