Ok but can we talk about the fact that we now have a very specific reason for WHY Haymitch called Katniss ‘sweetheart’ and it was never something that he intended to be condescending or mean?

Like that’s what he called Louella, who he loved like a sister and was killed before she even made it to the arena. And when Katniss started coming to the Hob after Burdock died in the mines, she wore her hair in two braids and it reminded Haymitch of Louella, who wore her hair in two braids. And then when she volunteered, the old nickname slipped out.

that line hits so hard when you realize how quickly he was calling katniss sweetheart. through katniss’ eyes, it seemed insincere at first, almost like haymitch was mocking her. but now we truly know haymitch wouldn’t just throw that around. he truly cared for her from the start.

now that i will be unemployed i guess i will have time to think about the last three years properly, and that’s something i wanted to do for ages but just didn’t get the time to do so, i also am so confused on what i want to do with my life so i got time to really think about it i just hate how shit it is to have no job as an adult to pay for things, i know if it doesn’t get better i will have to go on governments assistance for awhile… but i hate change when i don’t know the official outcome of what i am doing lol

like sorry for getting diagnosed with epilepsy but you can’t give me shift to help me make sure i don’t missed my medication by having a shit sleeping pattern 🧍‍♀️ and would rather me leave.. anyways can’t believe i’m going to be broke in this economy.. don’t know how well this is going to effect my mental health
