My face recognition abilities are less than ideal but I can see the most basic looking Airedale Terrier from 30m away and recognise him after seeing him only once before.

I photographed 26 dogs today and had to pass the sniffspection at home.

yk when you're normally with your dog 24/7 and then they're not there and you image the sounds.

I needed treat catching promo photos for an upcoming event so here you go. Also my trusty elephant that helps me with setting up the lights.

Hiked with the dog and thought about how ancient of an activity that it is. Walking through the wilds with your dog is probably as old as dogs themselves. Maybe that’s why I crave it so much.

No idea who of you remember Luna but she used to be on Tumblr as well.

Anyway - we visited them in the Netherlands and our big fear was that Luna would absolutely hate Nefja but in the end she really liked her and Nefja was the one being unsure and a bit grumpy.

"Grumpy" as in she told Luna off with a minimal lip curl when she sniffed her mouth or ears which Nefja's not a fan of anyway. They were really respectful of each other and it was really refreshing to see.

She's a lady and knows she has many fans.

She was very much in her element today - getting attention from strangers and tons of treats.

The next few days are really gonna be a lot -

Tomorrow: meet-up with someone and their dog to take photos together

Saturday: pet photographer networking event

Sunday: drive to a friend and their dog, take photos

Monday: thumb fiddeling at friend's bc weather looks meh

Tuesday: maybe take photos at an awesome industrial location, my planned dog model just doesn't have time anymore unfortunately so it's just gonna be Nefja or I'll find someone else

Nefja's staring at the cemetery across the street and boofing and growling. If the zombie apocalypse is upon us, I wouldn't even be surprised anymore tbh.
