I want to set the record straight regarding a certain OST for a short film that should be coming out later this year, because one of its directors is making false and hurtful claims about me and my business ethic. After he made a prominent appearance on a drama stream about me & wrote a section of my callout doc, I told him that I wasn't interested in dragging him publicly, but that has felt more impossible as time goes on and I realize the extent of his misrepresentation. I had a vision of this film being able to release quietly in spite of everything, but I don't think that can happen, and I fully expect him to try and hurt my chances at further work.
In 2023, between techdogs 4 and 5, I worked on music for a then good friend's student film. It is by far the most technically difficult job I've ever had, and I did it for free. Now, before you get mad, this is partially (mostly) my fault. I never negotiated a price beforehand, and when I found out partway through that I was working for free, I let it slide for fear of being disruptive. If I was asked to quote a price today, it would have been approximately 900 USD. The work was a hellish and grueling experience, technical in ways I'd never been prepared for, and I sorely regret not putting my foot down, because I was hollowed out by the end of it.
A big portion of his callout against me is concerned with, bafflingly, my decision not to contribute my own money to the film, which at that point would have been a negative paycheck. I didn't pay the thirty dollars that I would've had to pitch in for the film to be screened, and I considered that a fine payment for the nine hundred dollars of work they got from me. He goes on to write that I'm rich anyways, I pay hundreds of dollars on album art (business expenses that I know I'll make back when the music is released) and "furry porn," because apparently if I am occasionally willing to drop a pretty penny on a pleasure purchase then I should simply be compelled to pay them randomly for things I hold no stake in and that I signed no contract for. He also mentions that I paid them later for the DCP file at another screening, of course by that point I had gotten the vibe that they were wanting for me to drop money on their project, so I did, giving the post-hoc justification that "i guess in this case I also care about the film sounding good." He writes "well I guess that was something she deemed worthy" without realizing the implication would then be that he did not see my own work as worthy.
Let me make this clear, this is like if a voice actor worked on my video game for free as a favor with no expectations of royalties, and then I asked them to help me pay to get the game on steam. This is presented along reheated second, third, fourthhand accounts of sexual misconduct.
And before we move on, to the claim that one album artist had to wait for years before receiving payment, this is true. I did forget to pay one artist, and only found out after their assistant contacted me years later, where I then paid six times the asking price as a late fee. I was commissioning over ten album arts every year, and as of now, this is the only time I have made this mistake.
It is impossible for me to refute his claims about the personal time we spent together in Omaha, as it would just be my word against his. I will just say that he should know the omitted reasons that I have grown to feel I was disposed, discarded, and taken for granted by him, and how he has nothing to do with why I hold those memories at that film festival so highly. He also does the classic thing where he positions allowing me to pick the movie in the evening as this favor he did, making me unknowingly rack up debt for a bargain I never consented to.
During all this, he has expressed an existential fear of being harassed for going public about me, and for this reason I want to say that I still hope that this film can be released without a fuss, but his continued participation in a harassment campaign against me has done far more to tarnish his reputation than I ever could. If you really cared about your image, pressure Crim to re-record that drama stream without your embarrassing petty grievances in it & delete your testimony from the callout doc. Thanks.

bad ideas & good distractions - c. sturniolo
fic, part one of bed chem… next door neighbor!chris x beauty influencer!reader
Tumblr media
the first time you notice the moving boxes in the hallway, you don’t think much of it.
it’s a nice apartment building, and people come and go all the time. besides, you’re too busy editing a new video to care about whoever’s moving in.
then, later that night, it starts.
the music.
so loud it rattles your walls, pulsing through your head as you stare at your laptop screen. you try to ignore it, try to focus, but the bass is relentless.
eventually, you sigh, shut your laptop, and crawl into bed, hoping it stops soon.
it doesn’t.
this continues for the next few nights—loud ass music, doors slamming, voices in the hallway. annoying as hell, but not enough to make you confront your new neighbor.
until one night, around 1 a.m., when it’s actually a full-blown party.
laughter, shouting, people stumbling up and down the hall like they pay rent here.
you lay in bed, glaring at the ceiling, seething.
what the hell is his problem?
but instead of doing anything about it, you toss and turn, forcing yourself to sleep.
Tumblr media
the next morning, you’re filming a get ready with me for an upcoming event, sitting at your vanity, blending concealer under your eyes.
“i did not sleep last night,” you say, “my new neighbor—who, by the way, i have not met yet—thinks my apartment complex is a frat house, apparently.”
you shake your head, dabbing in more product. “anyway, i’m going to this event later, so let’s fix my face and act like i’m not sleep deprived as hell.”
you post the video and go about your day, shoving the whole situation to the back of your mind.
but that night, when the music starts up again, you’re done.
at first, you try to ignore it, sipping on a glass of white wine as you edit a brand deal video, but then there’s moaning. loud, exaggerated, fake as hell.
you slam your laptop shut.
this motherfucker has lost his mind.
you storm into the hall, crossing your arms as you knock on his door, loud as hell.
the music doesn’t stop, but the door swings open a moment later.
and that’s the first time you see him.
low sweats. shirtless. hair slightly messy.
he leans against the doorframe, eyes dragging over you—your heartless hair curlers. pink pajama set. silk robe. fluffy slippers. the sleep-deprived glare on your face.
you looked like you just woke up from a slumber on twenty mattresses and still felt the damn pea.
then he smirks. “cute pajamas.”
you shift your weight onto your hip, unamused. “most people on this floor are in bed sleeping right now.
his smirk deepens. “clearly, i’m not most.”
your eye twitches. “turn the music down. and the fake ass moaning, too.”
he chuckles.
you wait. “so?”
he shrugs, barely moving. “i’ll think about it.”
oh, you hate him.
“whatever.” you spin on your heel, stomping back to your apartment and slamming the door behind you.
Tumblr media
the next morning, your head is pounding, but you push through and meet your girls for brunch.
“babe,” one of them says, stirring her mimosa. “you look rough.”
you sigh, stabbing your eggs. “my new neighbor is a fucking menace.”
they lean in. “spill.”
so you do.
you tell them about the loud music, the party, the smug ass smirk.
they listen, nodding along, sharing their own bad neighbor horror stories.
but one of them grins. “he’s hot, though, right?”
you hesitate. “that’s not the point.”
“but he is, isn’t he?”
you purse your lips, sipping your mimosa. “whatever.”
they laugh. “oh, you so think he’s hot.”
you don’t answer.
but you don’t deny it, either.
Tumblr media
a few days pass, and you avoid him.
not hard to do.
but the thought of him lingers, especially late at night, especially when you’re in bed, mind wandering.
he’s just a guy.
just your annoying ass neighbor.
but you can’t stop thinking about his voice, his smirk, the way he leaned in the doorway—
get it together.
except you can’t.
and eventually, you come to terms with it.
it could just be a singular fuck. nothing more.
just something to scratch the itch.
so, one night, against your better judgment, you grab your keys, take a breath, and step out into the hall.
heading straight for his door.

Title: Jealousy Looks Good on You
Tumblr media
You weren’t the jealous type.
At least, that’s what you told yourself.
Being a pop star meant working with all kinds of people—male dancers, love interests in music videos, producers who sometimes got too flirty. But you always kept it professional because, at the end of the day, you knew where you belonged. With him.
And Marshall? He wasn’t always the best at handling it.
You knew he was possessive. Knew that the idea of you in a music video, getting too close to some guy, would make his blood boil. So, out of respect for him, you avoided it. Chose different creative directions.
But then his video happened.
And suddenly, you were rethinking everything.
You had stopped by his set to surprise him, only to find him laughing with her. A gorgeous actress cast as his video vixen—long legs, sultry smile, hands resting just a little too comfortably on his chest between takes.
Marshall hadn’t noticed you at first. But when he did, something in his expression shifted. Like he knew he was caught in some shit.
You didn’t cause a scene. Didn’t even say anything about it when you got home that night.
But you had a plan.
And if Marshall wanted to play this game, you were about to make damn sure he lost.
A week later, you were on set for your own music video.
And this time? There was a male lead.
You had been very particular about casting—choosing someone tall, muscular, charming as hell. Someone who, on camera, could make it look like there was something there.
And, of course, you made sure Marshall knew exactly when and where you’d be filming.
Which was why, halfway through a take, you weren’t surprised when you heard the familiar sound of heavy boots stalking across the set.
“Cut!” the director called, as you pulled back from your co-star, an innocent smile gracing your lips as you turned toward your husband.
Marshall stood just off-camera, jaw tight, arms crossed. “The fuck is this?”
You arched a brow. “It’s called a music video, babe. You’ve done a few, right?”
His eyes flicked toward the guy standing next to you, who—bless his heart—looked like he was suddenly rethinking his entire career choice.
“Yeah,” Marshall said, voice low, dangerous. “But you don’t do videos like this.”
You shrugged, walking toward him slowly, making sure to sway your hips just a little more than usual. “Well,” you mused, tilting your head, “I figured… since you get to have a pretty little co-star, maybe I should, too.”
His jaw flexed. “That what this is?”
You leaned in, lips brushing against his ear as you whispered, “How does it feel, baby?”
His hands were on you instantly, gripping your waist, pulling you flush against him. “Pack it up,” he barked at the crew, not even looking their way. “She’s done for the day.”
You gasped, feigning offense. “Marshall, you can’t just—”
“Now.”
You bit back a smile as the crew scrambled, clearing the set. Your co-star was gone in record time, clearly not interested in testing his luck.
Once it was just the two of you, Marshall backed you up against a nearby vanity, his hands braced on either side of you. His blue eyes burned into yours. “You wanna play games, huh?”
You smirked, fingers trailing up his chest. “Just proving a point.”
His breath was heavy, lips brushing against your jaw. “And what point is that?”
“That jealousy looks real good on you.”
He let out a low chuckle, shaking his head before capturing your lips in a heated kiss. His grip on you tightened, possessive, like he was reminding you exactly who you belonged to.
And, as always, you were more than happy to let him.

Do you think in the "Out of Tears" video the cameras just happened to be rolling when Charlie went in the telephone booth to call Shirley and ask her to come pick him up from this bloody music video set and then captured his disappointment when he realized it was just a prop? I do.

It's always interesting to hear about people's weird/unexpected "alternate life paths". Like, something that you could have done with your life, a job you almost took, a school you almost went to, etc - that was still actually realistic enough that it could have happened, but NOW it seems to not suit your current personality.
Like for example, I currently hate advertising (how manipulative it is, brands trying to be 'relatable', social media amplifying it to an obnoxious extreme, etc.) so much that even seeing a little ad before a youtube video is grating to even witness, but there was a point in time where I was genuinely seriously considering going into marketing/making commercials as a career lol. Or like, I have a relative who was very inclined to be a pastor when they were younger, even though today they're a super strong atheist, etc. etc.
#BECAUSE I knew I really liked filming and editing things and doing set design and costume design (from having done little bits of that#here and there in media classes and my own stuff - i used to be a lot more into making videos than I am now). BUT I was always thinking#that a movie is WAAY to big and long. even a short film. So I was trying to think of ways I could still like#have the fun of scouting locations to film and dressing up actors and etc. etc. without it having to be a Huge Million Dollar Production#on tv show or movie level. SO then I was thinking about like... just doing commercials. Or music videos. Like shorter things where I still#get the fun of the filming and everything but it's less of an intensive long term project.#So there is an alternate version of me (I suppose if i somehow did not end up having physical and mental health issues#as badly somehow.. or like.. randomly came into wealth and was able to pay my way through a nice college despite missing#days constantly being out because I'm sick or something lol) that works in some corporate advertising office coming up with commercials#and directing or filming them or doing the sets for them or something in that general vicinity.#I also was considering being a corporate psychologist. or whatever its called.. oh from google:#''Industrial and organizational (I/O) psychologists study and assess individual group and organization dynamics in the workplace''#I don't think I even knew what the job entailed. I was at the time just thinking like.. the type of person that comes into a business offic#and gives everyone personality assessments or does MBTI or big-5 testing crap for whatever reason that some businesses get that#done for people. Really i just wanted to be in a Corporate Big Office setting yet still do psychology. Because I used to be really fixated#on living in a big city. Like the ideas of everything being walkable. picking up a coffee in the morning. walking to my job in a Big#Skyscraper Building. people watching in a huge hotel lobby for lunch. flying frequently (I love airplanes and airports aesthetically).#living in an apartment with a giant window overlooking the city. etc. etc. BUT that was before i had really BEEN to a city. Then I actually#hung around a city a few times and went places and I was like... AUGh... The Sensory Overwhelm.. cars people lights loudness noise scary#everything happening all at once. etc. etc. (though even when I wanted to live in a city i NEVER strove for the Night Life. when i say I#enjoy city imagery I mean like... in the day time. Many people who like cities talk about The Night Life and post pictures of cities all#lit up at night and clubs and dancing and restaurants. none of that EVER appealed to me. perhaps a sign I am not a real city person. Like#I am NOT standing in a crowded bar full of loud people in the middle of the night lol.. get AWAY from me!!) but I do adore the#architecture of like bright white clean sterile modern spaces like huge airport lobbies or malls or etc. I think thats what reminded me of#city and what I liked about the idea of that life. Like I always LOVED the layout of schools and hospitals and trainstations and public#transport in general. Though even then I knew enough that I would not be a good architect/city planner. so I guess my adoration for those#spaces was merely to be channeled into LIVING there. but then I realized I didn't even really want to do that that much. I mean I still#definitely aim to live NEAR a city. like the little areas outside of it. I would never live in a rural place 4 hours from anything. I liter#ally just COULDNT since I need close access to hospitals sometimes lol. But I used to want to live in the CENTER of citites like high rise#condo. and now I'm like.... eh....... perhaps a smaller quieter walkable space nearby lol.. ANYWAY.. alternate me in my Business Suit eheh

honestly it bugs me a little how 99% of the comments on the these are the days of our lives music video, one of my personal favorite queen mvs for pure aesthetics and mood, are people calling it "heartbreaking" and hand-wringing about how SICK and PALE and CLOSE TO DEATH freddie mercury looks. like. wooow the dying man looks like he's dying? really? well done, nancy drew! have a gold star! yes aids is an awful fucking disease and yes hiv positive people shouldn't be reduced to washed-out portraits of the words "inspirational" and "strong" by the media and they should have their pain acknowledged but guys. freddie, by all accounts, very much Did Not Want To Dwell On It. he told his friends he had aids and then immediately was like but i don't want to talk about it. i just want to spend the rest of my time making as much music as i can. and his bandmates accepted that and supported him! he wanted to spend the time he had doing what he loved with people he loved and who loved him and he did. he had, by all accounts, a great last year. that one person who took the days of our lives bts color footage and edited Sad Piano Music TM over the entire thing and intercut interviews with the rest of the band also with Sad Piano Music TM and made it so we could barely hear freddie even say anything... it makes my blood boil like he's literally just. like it's literally just footage of him walking and discussing a take with the director and standing waiting for the take to start like. normal video filming stuff. and all anyone can see is a tragedy because he's walking stiffly or whatever
#imagine you're dying and you just want to spend your last days making music that you love and that other people love#and you're in so much pain all the time but you make the effort to go into work#and record even though your voice is getting weaker by the day#and film a video. even though you have to spend hours in makeup so people don't realize you're sick#and it hurts to STAND but you do it anyway#and you request that certain takes be redone because you still want to make the video the best it can be! you don't care that you're hurtin#you really want to make something you're proud of that people will love#because you know it might well be your last video#and you want it to be a fitting sendoff#so that you avoid being remembered for your disease#and then thirty years later no one talks about the actual video#they're not like 'what an epic kimono!' or 'this pared-down set is so nice and really fits the song!'#or 'wow roger taylor's wearing one hell of a shirt!' or 'this is some of john deacon's best bass work!'#they do exactly what you did not want. they focus on how sick you look.#i literally saw a comment that was like 'you can see the sadness in roger and john's eyes🥺'#bitch no the fuck you can't. shut up. you have the benefit of hindsight. you KNOW freddie was sick at the time#but if you didn't know that i know you wouldn't suspect a thing#fuck off. you're making that up! they literally don't look sad they look fine#because this may come as a shock to you but they were also doing something they loved#and yes undoubtedly the mood was dampened by freddie's condition. but do you think they didn't enjoy it at all?#you can literally see roger smiling in a couple shots. please just appreciate the band's hard work. it's a really good fucking song#and a really good fucking video.#sorry. lot of tags. i just have strong feelings on this lol

Fantastic episode but I've been saying "STUPID SEXY CZESŁAW" to myself over and over all morning lol

ITS A WRAP ON THE YES MA’AM MUSIC VIDEO
This was such an ambitious project but I’m so proud of all of our cast and crew coming together to make this happen. it was amazing getting to create a fun queer sex positive music video with other queer creators, and I was especially blown away by how professional everyone was. It was so amazing to see everyone’s own individual talents shine on this production and I couldn’t have asked for better people to work with.
The Yes Ma’am Music Video drops on June 9th! (06/09) 😜

we listen and we don’t judge
drew starkey x latina actress reader!
Tumblr media
Drew was not a fan of social media.
Unlike you.
Chronically online was a term that was gaining fame to describe someone who spent quite some time on the internet, and who knew all the trends going on.
You weren’t exactly proud to be a part of that community.
But it kept you entertained.
And that’s how you ended up setting your phone up, ready to record Drew and you filming a new trend on TikTok.
How did you convince him to do it? You don’t even remember.
And after what felt like an eternity of explaining the dynamic to Drew, you both were finally ready to begin.
Both of you sitting next to each other on your couch, you looked at him with a mischievous smirk while he stared at you suspiciously.
“We listen and we don’t judge” you both said at the same time, Drew smirking at you.
“I’ll start” you said, looking from your phone screen to your boyfriend. “Sometimes, when I don’t really wanna cook, I get all dramatic and lie about us not having all the ingredients for the dish I was supposed to make, so you can offer to make something instead with what we do have” you say, giving him an embarrassed smile.
He chuckled at your words.
“I knew that love” he lets out a laugh. “You’re not good at lying to me”.
Your mouth opens up in shock.
“We listen and we don’t judge”.
Drew pauses for a moment, smiling at you.
"When you're showering, i close the door of our room so the sound of your music gets as muffled as possible" he admits.
You giggle as you nod at his words, you did like to shower with loud music.
“We listen and we don’t judge”
You look at him through the screen.
“I thought you hated me when we first met, so I would intentionally try to stay out of your way our first couple of working days together”.
Drew gives you a puzzled expression trying his best not to judge.
“We listen and we don’t judge”.
He clears his throat before speaking.
“I often fake coming home super tired and stressed so that you take pity on me and cuddle me while playing with my hair” he says giving you a cute smile.
You giggle at his words.
“That’s cute” you admit leaning to peck his lips.
“We listen and we don’t judge”
You take a couple of seconds before speaking, trying to be dramatic.
“I have a lot of edits of you saved on my favorites folder on TikTok” you look at him.
Drew covers his eyes while letting out a chuckle.
“We listen and we don’t judge”.
He looks at you mischievously.
“I get jealous of the guys in your books” he admits seriously.
You let out a laugh as you throw your head back.
“We listen and we don’t judge”
You giggle softly before confessing the next one.
“Whenever I feel sick in the middle of the night, I wiggle a lot in bed or move your body so you’ll accidentally wake up and ask me what’s wrong”.
He opens his mouth surprised at your words.
“We listen and we don’t judge”
Drew thinks a little before speaking.
“Ever since we met I’ve always been skeptical of your at home remedies for illnesses, even though they work every time” he admits.
You slowly nod while giving him a defeated look, knowing that already.
“We listen and we don’t judge”
You give him a playful look before speaking.
“When we’re cuddling, sometimes I have the urge to stand up abruptly because I get too hot and I feel like I can’t breathe because you’re too big” you say, barely getting out the words without laughing.
Drew looks at you with big eyes, moving his brows up and down at the double meaning of your last words.
You roll your eyes at him.
“We listen and we don’t judge”
He thinks for a moment before speaking.
“When I’m showering, sometimes I’ll use your shampoo rather than mine” he pauses as he looks at your baffled face. “It leaves my hair softer! And smells like you”.
Of course, there were a few confessions you had to cut from the video because your PR managers would hunt you down if they made it out into the internet.
“We listen and we don’t judge” you both say smiling at each other.
You smirk playfully at him before speaking.
“I cannot stand one of your friends and past coworkers” you admit, making a serious face.
Drew immediately throws his head back and lets out a chuckle, knowing exactly who you’re referring to.
“We listen and we don’t judge”
He clears his throat before looking at you.
“I don’t like watching F1 since you told me about that driver that slid into your dm’s” he lets out cockily.
You burst out laughing looking at him while he joins you.
“We listen and we don’t judge”
You make a thinking face looking at him.
“I wish you sent me more shirtless photos” you say giving him puppy eyes. “Or like, you took more of those with my phone, so I could look at them”.
He snorted out a laugh.
“That can be fixed baby” he says as he looks at you mischievously.
“We listen and we don’t judge”
He gives you a smile.
“When I travel for work and you’re not coming with me, I take a pair of your panties and stuff them in my suitcase” he says laughing.
You scrunch up your nose at him.
“Drewwwwww” you say covering your face, now knowing where those missing undies went.
“We listen and we don’t judge”
You avoid his eyes for the next one.
“Sometimes when I’m cold, I throw on one of your dirty hoodies that you used while working out, cause they’re sweaty and smell like you” you say, trying not to burst out laughing.
He gives you a grossed out look.
“We listen and we don’t judge”
You look at him waiting for him to speak.
“You know those sleeping shorts Brooke sent you cause she accidentally bought too many?” He says, making quotation marks with his fingers while saying sent and accidentally.
You nod at his words.
“I actually bought them for you because I love how your ass looks in them”.
Your mouth opens at his confession while you hit him playfully in the chest.
Drew laughs at your reaction.
“Oh my god baby, this is definitely not making it to the video” you say as you stand up from your position while laughing at him, walking to your phone to stop recording, while he stands back watching your movements with a smile.
Noticing that in fact, you were wearing a pair of those shorts.
“We don’t judge remember?” he said cheekily.

Finished this beautiful shoot with Avant Garde Films for Tips Music Company..shot at Madh Island, Dancer's Cast (By Me) & choreographed by me, and I am so so so proud. It got a Lil rough though but ah, as long as there was coordination during work cuz, fuck there are 30 people tryinna coordinate at once.. Anyway, these are just the director and background dancers that I had casted. ❤️
So many of them had never been on a set before and they were so happy!
