Hi, I’m Chelsea. My baby Chihuahua Stitch was accidentally scratched by my [blind] dog and now he has to have his eye removed.

I’m raising funds to help with the cost of surgery and aftercare.

Stitch was the runt of his litter that was abandoned under the neighbor’s trailer. I successfully rehomed all pups and kept him. He’s 5 years old and has a lot of life left!

I have my 2 dogs for less then 6 months together …. I KNOW MY DOGS. You do not know what life I live , nor do I know you live yours. Sometimes I'm really sad and lonely and then I see someone with a dog or a cat and i remember that I can just get a pet and it will love me forever and I will love it forever and it's not so bad anymore

While I maintain that Damian’s original characterization as Rapunzel is accurate, I would like to add that he is also comparable to Lilo, from Lilo&Stitch.

-it is most applicable while Bruce is in the timestream because Damian is being taken care of by Dick

-Lilo is, like Damian, not entirely receptive to her sibling caretaker because she likely misses her parents and already doesn’t fit in.

-the similarity to Lilo maintains Damian’s love of animals. Stitch could even be likened to Titus the dog, as both animal counterparts comfort their charge and make life bearable.

-Talia takes a similar role to CPS in the film, because she supposedly has Damian’s best interests at heart, but believes his best interest is to be taken away from Dick, just as Lilo is possibly taken from Nani.

-Both Damian and Lilo are a bit “out there”, although in different ways. Damian struggles to make friends even among his family because of how he was raised and Lilo struggles to make friends because of her own habits as well.

-In general, I think the theme of “Ohana” is very applicable to the Batfamily, but particularly to the Dick & Damian relationship.

I’ve decided that Damian Wayne is, in fact, a Disney princess. If I had to pick one specifically, he’s Rapunzel.

Reason #1- he has the whole “mother knows best” thing going on, we all know Talia and Ra’s were (at best) incredibly controlling.

Reason #2- similar to #1, his mother essentially locked him away from his family for several years.

Reason #3- his darling pets. We have bat-cow, Titus, Alfred the cat, and his love for animals in general.

Reason #4- his tendency to be (for lack of a better term) “not like other girls”. Logically, I know this stems from trauma and a background of assassin training, but it manifests as a superiority complex and weird habits that most people don’t have.

Reason #5- again, similar to 1&2, and a trait he shares with Rapunzel, he does not realize what unconditional love is until he leaves his abuser/s and he joins the batfamily.

Reason #6- he is a skilled artist (Rapunzel paints), and he finds relief from life’s monotony and he enjoys creating something rather than just destroying it.

Reason #7- he has a signature weapon. Like Rapunzel’s frying pan, I feel Damian’s katana is relatively famous, and an important aspect of his personality and character design.

Reason #8- despite his harmful upbringing he hesitates to leave and accept his new family because the league is all he’s ever known but ones he leaves he refuses to go back.

I love Damian and I think he deserves more recognition. If you think of any more connections I would love to hear them.

I love to imagine how Jason, freshly back as Red Hood, came to work with the Batfamily even if he CATEGORICALLY refuses to interact with Bruce like

Stitch's Tropical Turbulence.

Everyone forgets it. But Yuu, with their Ghost Camera, sure does not. Or at least the presence on card vignettes sure implies they don't. Ace being his usual nosy self is sifting through their photos and wondering where Yuu got the tools to magically photoshop their pictures. But he doesn't mind, the sight of Azul wiping out on his surf board is priceless. Riddle looks so ridiculous- wait, why is he in that get up too! He isn't sure about the blue dog thing. But Yuu's got one heck of an imagination.

Meanwhile, the prefect just smiles and packs the pictures away again, tapping a photo of Stitch on the head before they put it with others.

"Ohana, little guy. Hope you made it home."

I love how in the Stitch event, Stitch TALKS. In sound! Probably TWST used voice files from the Lilo & Stitch series, and it's because Stitch has simple voice lines, but it's still cool to see someone talking in sound in the event!

Yeah, I definitely wasn’t expecting the Stitch voiced lines but they’re a nice, cute touch! He growls, grunts, and laughs but also says, “Stitch good”, and “ohana”.

fhksv;16?fFsgv Kind of expected him to lock eyes with his fellow gremlin Grim and then immediately spiral into chaos… Like, Stitch starts biting people and curls up into a ball to smack into Grim 💀 Then this guy has the audacity to climb onto bigger gremlins Lilia and Floyd’s shoulders (which is how they can appear if you roll their respective SSRs) and look all innocent… The range of expressions Stitch can make in his in-game models is impressive!! They really capture him well.

Side note: Damn, the TWST team really popped off with all these new assets 🥺 I expected the beach in the book to be picturesque, but the bookshelf in the Archives is also super aesthetically pleasing!

Also, also: GANTU LOOKS SO BiG AND GOOFy 🤪 Love that we can see his teefs when he talks/points and shouts at them to hand over 626 or get mcfucking lasered Ortho-approved method of retrieval, I’m sure… This man is NOT above killing high school kids to get their talking dog/j)

Grim - Cute and Fluffy

Grim harrumphed and kicked at the wet sand. Where had his hench-human disappeared to? Floyd was in one of his weird moods and wouldn’t feed anyone unless Little Shrimpy is here. Ace and Grim had complained to their best ability, but one silent, intense stare from Floyd had cowed Ace.

Not Grim though. He just...thought it was a smart idea to find his hench-human. She would starve on the deserted island if he didn’t make her regularly eat. And what good was it to have a starved hench-human who couldn’t do anything? Yeah! That was his reason.

Except Grim had been walking up and down the beach for five minutes now, and he hadn’t seen an inch of Yuu!

The quiet strum of a ukulele made his ears twitch. Abandoning the frothy surf wetting his toes, Grim wandered closer to the trees bordering the beach. His ears swiveled as he followed the soft melody until he caught sight of the hammock strung between the trunks of two palm trees.

Relieved to have his search ended, Grim sprinted over the hammock and launched himself into it without a second thought. “Yuu! Do you know how long I’ve been looking for you? Floyd won’t feed anyone until you—.”

A short growl and the jarring twang of an off-key ukulele was his only warning before Grim was unceremoniously thrown out of the hammock. Grim sputtered and barely caught himself before he slammed into the ground. A disapproving hum silenced the grumbling growl. “Be nice, Stitch. We’ve got plenty of room up here for Grim.”

Stitch’s huff made the fur on the back of Grim’s neck bristle. He launched himself into the hammock a second time and glowered at the blue dog laid up against Yuu’s side. Grim plopped himself right into Yuu’s lap and glared at Stitch. Stitch bared his teeth.

A heavy sighed pushed him off Yuu’s chest. Yuu patted Grim on the head between the ears, but he swatted her hand away after a few pats. “You two chill out. This isn’t some type of competition.”

Grim harrumphed and settled down into his position against Yuu. Her matching shirt felt stiff and scratchy against his paws, a combination of fine sand and salt left behind from their earlier swim. “You’re right. It’s not a competition. Because I'm clearly the winner. Myahahaha!”

Stitch’s answering growl was silenced by a pat on his head. Stitch grumbled and settled back into his position on the hammock. He grabbed the ukulele and tightened one of the strings. He started playing the melody that had drawn Grim to the spot.

The strumming of the ukulele and the nearby rhythmic crashing of the waves made Grim slowly relax against Yuu. The hammock gently swayed somehow, and the rocking motion further relaxed him. Soon, he was sprawled out the same way the others were, slowly rolling off Yuu’s lap to comfortably stretch out against her other side. He didn’t protest when her fingers rubbed against the back of his ears.

Grim didn’t realize his eyes had closed until Stitch stopped playing with a sad sigh. “Ohana...”

Grim sat up to see Stitch on the other side of the hammock. The blue creature’s ears drooped, and its large black eyes had a noticeable wet sheen to them. Grim slowly settled back down. The annoyance he’d felt earlier at finding Stitch cozied up to his hench-human (and inconveniencing him because he was starving, Grim reminded himself) was gone now. His hunger made his stomach churn, and he uncomfortably curled closer to Yuu.

Yuu hummed. “Don’t worry, Stitch. We’ll get more scrap parts tomorrow, so you can fix your ship. Then you’ll be able to go home. You’ll have a great story to tell your friends too. We built a whole resort, and surfed, and ate really good food. You’ve even destroyed tons of Gantu’s minions.”

Stitch cackled. Grim jolted upwards and glared at Stitch. “Hey! I’ve destroyed just as many of those things!”

Stitch didn’t say anything, but Grim could easily hear the taunting in the wide smirk Stitch had. Grim wouldn’t stand for it. “In fact I’ve destroyed more of them than you! And I can swim! What d’ya say about that, huh?”

Stitch threw his arms into the air. “I’m cute and fluffy!”

Grim sputtered, and Stitch cackled. Grim whipped towards Yuu. “I’m cuter and fluffier! Right, Yuu!”

Yuu didn’t immediately answer. Her eyes darted between him and Stitch, gradually narrowing the more they flicked back and forth. The longer she took to answer, the more Grim’s hungry stomach churned. “Yuu!”

Yuu reached out and put one hand on both his and Stitch’s heads. Her blunt nails lightly scratched through his fur. “Stitch let me snuggle with him last night.”

“That doesn’t make him cuter or fluffier!”

Yuu wouldn’t look him in the eye despite continuing to scratch his head. “He squeaks when he snores.”

“I can squeak when I snore too!”

“The way he rolls around like a ball is cute too.”

“He’s eating his own feet when he does that. That’s not cute— it’s unsanitary!”

“Lilia agrees with me.”

“Lilia’s as crazy as Floyd!”

Something wet and warm plopped against the side of Grim’s face. It slowly moved up his head, leaving a wet streak behind. Grim froze, his wide eyes watching Yuu’s reaction. Yuu’s nose slightly wrinkled. “Okay. There’s some not cute things Stitch does.”

The wet/warm thing against Grim’s head disappeared, and Stitch loudly cackled. The hammock aggressively shook when Stitch jumped out of the hammock. “I’m cute and fluffy! Cute and fluffy!”

Grim snapped out of his daze. He slapped his paw against his wet cheek. “He just licked me.”

Yuu grimly nodded, though Grim could see the muscles in her cheeks twitching in a restrained smile. “He did.”

“Why did he lick me?” Without waiting for her answer, Grim jumped up onto her lap, shaking the hammock more. He used her as leverage to see Stitch on the ground in front of them. “You can’t just lick me and run!”

Stitch held up his arms like he wanted to grab Grim. “Akatoo-kee!”

He didn’t give Grim a chance to respond, rolling into a ball and taking off down the beach like he was shot out of a cannon. Grim jumped around the hammock. “You can’t just lick me and run, you coward! Get back here so I can—!”

“Grim, stop before you—!”

The hammock upended beneath him. Grim grabbed at the fabric, but the reaction wasn’t enough to save him from slamming into the ground. A shocked squeal followed by a pained grunt said Yuu was ejected from the hammock too. Grim whined and rolled onto his feet. He rubbed his back. “That hurt...”

Another grunt from Yuu agreed with him, but there was an extra undertone in the sound that made him turn to her. The glare aimed at him made him shuffle backward. “Uh...”

“Stitch is cuter and fluffier.”

Yuu’s deadpan delivery made Grim sputter in protest. Yuu ignored him and climbed to her feet. After aggressively swiping at the sand on his fur, Grim chased Yuu back towards the beach. “You can’t just decide that! You’re my hench-human!"

“No one ever said we had to agree with each other.”

Grim yowled at Yuu the entire way back to the bungalow, but his annoyance quickly switched to Ace, who greeted them with a mouthful of fish. Floyd paused teasing Ace and Jack long enough to "reprimand" Grim and Yuu for taking so long to get back. Grim ignored him to dive face-first into his plate, licking up flakey fish meat and sweet mango sauce. He eyed Stitch where he was aggressively playing another ukulele while Lilia encouraged Riddle and Azul to perform an energetic swaying dance.

Cuter and fluffier— yeah right! Grim was way better at being cute and fluffy. He would have to retrain his hench-human to have better taste.

percy jackson’s favorite movie is not the little mermaid. his favorite movie is, in fact, lilo and stitch. the line “ohana means family. family means no one gets left behind” an absolute banger that had percy crying. lilo’s fish-feeding habits inspired Percy to give it a try. (he finds out that they prefer chili dogs) the dynamic between lilo and nani (nani, struggling on her own to raise strange little lilo, never really knowing what to do) is parallel to percy’s own relationship with his mother (who had him so young) and later percy’s relationships with his cousins and little sister.

ariel, with all her whimsy and love, is naïve (which percy has never been able to be) and in her want for a new world (which percy never wanted, not at first) had to betray her family. Had to go out on her own. No world would have percy betraying his family; he’s proved that well enough time and time again.

Yuu: As for this little guy. You seem to be some creature magical or E.T that has a human friend from Hawaii and they are your family but you crashed here...but how? ._.'///

!! LOST IN THE BOOK WITH STITCH EVENT SPOILERS !!

Now what happened after? (Part 2):

Yuu, Grim, Floyd and Lilia rush to the site of the crash. Which gives us a Disney mascot face off

Seriously now Stitch is just plain adorable in this event like look at the alien dog (Stitch retracts his antenna and other arms the moment Floyd appears)

Speaking of which, everyone thinks Stitch is a dog and if you agree; Jack will be like " that definitely isn't a dog, it just talked" 💀

And then Ace says that unlike Grim, Stitch looks cute; but Stitch didn't like that and PROCEEDED TO BITE ACE IN THE ASS 😭😭😭 and Riddle tries to save him (ah yes Stitch and Epel getting along). Stitch also bit Jack and just started to turn into a ball and is just attacking Grim (pretty much everything was in shambles)

Floyd and Lilia find Stitch's behavior cute which leads to Stitch liking them and climbing on their shoulders 🥹

Floyd and Lilia just want to take Stitch home, well Lilia specifically wanted to bring the alien to Malleus (AWWWW). Floyd asks Stitch if it wants to come with them but it becomes sad and says "Ohana" ☹️

Then Gantu makes an appearance, he says he's looking for 626; and then Floyd is like "that's a shark lmao" and then everyone else realizes that it's an alien

Gantu then tells the group that Stitch is made for destruction and is a danger to the universe and tells them to hand over the alien dog. The group was about to hand it over since it looked like Gantu knew a way of getting them back to NRC but Floyd and Lilia refuse. Lilia says that they have no reason to believe Gantu and also because Stitch is cuter 😭 while Floyd wants to bring Stitch to school since he's a funny little guy (THE SILLIES)

This results in Gantu attacking us with his robots but the group manages to escape just in time. An argument happens but Stitch builds them a flashlight, some pillows and other things from the robot parts that came from Gantu's minions.

So it turns out Stitch can fix the spaceship using the robot parts if we can steal more parts from Gantu, thus needing our help. If we agree to help out, Stitch latches onto you and Grim gets jealous lmao; but he also receives pets from Stitch so that's good i guess 😭???

Been watching Lilo and Stitch and the way Nani treats the entire situation, it's so funny to me.

Nani is busy working and keeping Lilo out of the hands of the former CIA child worker with the name COBRA BUBBLES, who regularly visits her home. She also tries to keep Lilo happy, but Mertle and her friends are continously mean to her, even if she did nothing wrong herself. Lilo is lonely, and Nani wants to adopt a dog for her.

Lilo then adopts a completely blue dog, capable of speech, that causes mayhem and destruction everywhere they go and ruins every interview Nani has after she loses her job due to something Stitch and Lilo did ( and racism ). Lilo, her 7 year old sister, spends her days teaching her dog how to dance, surf, and play the ukelele. Stitch gets better as he goes, but he is still not sure about his ohana.

Then it turns out your dog is followed by intergalactic scientists and military. Just as you lose custody of your sister, this armada kipnaps her, causing you to ask Stitch and the scientists coming after him for help. You know that Stitch can talk, but when he does, you hit him with a tree branch. Then, after a scuffle in spaceships and Stitch launching himself into space, Stitch calls you his ohana, after which Lilo manages to keep him with you. Because of this, you now have official caretakers and two alien companions. This means Bubbles is no longer a threat.

So, in the span of like a week, you lose your job, adopt a dog, find out this dog is an intergalactic alien fugitive and built for destruction, lose custody over your sister, have a space battle, and then regain custody, adopting an alien and two of its caretakers as part of your ohana.

The fact that Nani isn't already exasperated / has put Lilo up for adoption by the end of it is honestly a show of character.
