ive been kind of obsessed with oxygen-deprived blue as a colour recently so i did a little experiment and managed to mix a nailpolish colour that makes my fingernails look suuuuubtly medically concercing ^-^

i call her cyanosis chic

#i think this is my perfect nail colour tbh #i always prefer sheer polishes bc nails being a bit transluscent is my favorite thing abt them #i never managed to get used to opaque colours they always feel a bit weird when im wearing them #plus sheer colours are less obvious when they start chipping #so usually i wear one of like 2 or 3 sheer glittery nailpolishes i have #but this one is soooo tasty #next time i redo my nails i'll do this but with a matte top coat so its even more realistic #i wanna make a lip balm with the same effect too #oh colours used for this are sally hansen miracle gel in sugar fix (639) and their shiny top coat (101)#i just poured a little of the blue into a reasonably used bottle of top coat

#is this tmi? oh well. this is the tmi website #trichotillomania #dermatillomania #onychophagia #bfrb #body focused repetitive behavior #ocd #guys guess what? my therapist all but prescribed that i get a manicure to prevent picking at my skin #apparently after a year with this therapist i never mentioned my finger picking until this week #and she was like 'ok since you find it tough to paint them yourself get a manicure. self care and preventative'#because my cuticles are horrific due to me constantly picking at them and the sides of my fingers #so i've always been too embarrassed to go to a nail salon and my therapist was like 'exposure therapy!'#currently my nails are sloppily painted because i can't hold a brush still and they're already chipping after like 5 days #actually they probably started chipping on the second day honestly.#i need to redo my twists a bit which actually satisfies the trich urges since i'll be running my fingers through my hair to do it #but i won't actually be pulling. but also. i will be getting the shed hairs out. so. kind of fulfills that.#but right now my nails are long enough for me to feel them sometimes hit my keyboard. which. isn't normal for me.#and despite the nail polish i feel the urge to bite them shorter ahhhhh #anyway if you're Black with natural hair and have trich i HIGHLY suggest mini twists since it helps deter me from pulling #sure i have to redo it every few weeks but seriously. game changer. harder to find individual hairs to pull.

Sol's eyes took s o long to get the right proportions with. But it was worth it! Marz's hair also took a bit, but. look at it. i love it so so much.

Okay, I think the best thing for Reece Walsh to do now is turn up to his next match (Origin II) with painted nails.

#between my prescriptions specific body wash specific toothpaste specific moisturiser specific seperate face moisturiser special suncream #specific hand cream #nail polish because having unpainted nails is a sensory issue #like im going to my mums i could borrow stuff if i didnt have the worst skin in the world which can't handle anything #and ive got one of those 4 week pill boxes AND a secondly weekly pill box #have to bring my own TOOTHPASTE because im allergic to an ingredient in most toothpastes #TOOTHPASTE ALLERGY. #accidentally slept through my only class today #which whoops sorry. (my 9am english)#which kind of killed step 1 of a plan of mine but thats okay #anyways THEN i had to go downtown to pick up this award bc i forgot to show up to the ceremony like a dumb dumb #but the building was like a 25 minute walk and it was COLD (punishment for my dumb dumbness tbh) but anyways i got there early so i walked #around the block and then went inside and picked up my medal #and i was already far downtown so then i popped my head in a couple of stores as i slowly walked back #got a few things from target. new hair clip nail polish m&ms pens and then a mango. very excited to eat that either later today or tomorrow #then i popped in the calligraphy store and then the comic shop and looked around. saw some white ribbon in the calligraphy store which ive #been looking for but didnt get it because it was a bit wide and kind of expensive and i want a lot for my project idea #(want to write out some of my favorite poems on them in sharpie and then use it to accessorize)#and then i went to the comic shop and peeked around. saw a nubia issue and a few gl 2021s in the discount bin but i didnt get them bc #they were all middle issues and i havent read those books yet although i do want to someday bc my guys were in them. one of the gl 21s even #had simon on the cover so i was very !!!!!!!! thats my guy!!!!!#didnt buy anything there but i did ask the guy to make sure to order a copy of the spirit world tpb so ill stop by to get that in a few wks #and then i went to the bookstore cafe and got a cold brew and did a but of English there. they have tables in the stacks its nice. the one i #grabbed was just surrounded by old paperbacks of sci fi and thrillers lol. didnt see anything id read but recognized a few author names like #card (no enders game though) and the pern lady (idk her name i havent read it). anyways did half a blog post thats technically late (ill #backdate though dw) and then packed up and i grabbed a gyro from the halal cart on that block which i just finished back at my dorm <3333 #anyways good times. now im gonna try and spam some work and go to freaking trivia team for the first time in a month later. oops #blah #oh and i think the halal cart guy may have given me a free soda. unsure abt that though bc its possible it came with and i was just being #silly again. so anyways i had a ginger ale too

well boys. had an interesting time doing gel nails tonight (I passed out then vomited in the middle of doing them). welcome to was it the fumes or am I just sick?

#It was my first time doing a certain brand of gel and it was stinky #but I was in a ventilated room with a fan going #so idk if I’m just not doing too hot? bc I never had a problem with gel polish before #I was literally slumped up against the counter trying to keep enough consciousness to not fall over #nails still wet and hbomberguy explaining sherlock in my ear #and then I threw up. And then I felt fine!#so idk what that was about but I sure hope it doesn’t happen again!#oh well. it was worth it I successfully did an isolated chrome heart design and they’re cute as fuck
