Muggle college AU where Harry sneaks into tom’s dorm room (after making sure to drug tom’s water earlier ofc) and takes pictures of him while he sleeps and posts them online. because god fucking dammit, Tom riddle is the most annoying RA that could possibly exist, and he wants a little bit of light revenge.
Harry realizes that “light revenge” may have gotten out of hand around the same time he started stripping Tom, and suddenly he was balls deep in both Tom riddle and a felony. The gravity of the situation did nothing to prevent Harry from taking a video, even though it was just more evidence that could be used against Harry.

#i will get used to it#highlights:#i had two work meetings for my on campus jobs and i am getting a lot of hours right off the bat because my boss loves meeeeee#but she asked the absolute max hours i could work and i gave her a number that is more than double what i worked last year. and uhhhhh yeah#i got that so. yipeee#i just was offered a studio space??!! which is not. something that juniors typically get im just from a tiny major and got. very luckyyyy#class was really great?? it was a lot of paint making demos and i. probably came off as a know it all but its okay because i got to engage#with my special interest which rocks#i saw my boyfriend and had class with him which is always a highlight#saw my friends a lot too.. so! pretty good#uh anything else. my therapy appt went fine. thats all#oh! and i mentioned i was just. elected a position in student government so i go to my first meeting for that tommorow. (repesentative for#the junior class which im. happy ppl consider me a good fit for.)#im a littttttle nervous about balancing my usual class workload with a lot more work than im used to and also an internship and also a#student gov position but i think it will be okay..!!

Listening to the Big O soundtrack while doing a homework assignment makes me appreciate the ost more for two sole reasons:

Was gonna vent once I got back to my dorm but my bus has been stuck in the same 2 blocks for ages so I’m over it now actually I’m annoyed at different things now

oh yeah i went to a uni open day and allergies decided to pummel me in a rather quiet room with over a hundred other people during a law course presentation when i had ONE tissue that had previously been a bookmark. i only sneezed four times but my right eye and nostril could NOT stop watering i gave in and used my sleeve and it got absolutely soaked in snot 😭😭
#anyway the uni was pretty whelming but i got some useful info about ways to get into the course i want if i don't qualify initially#and some actually really useful info about a lot of work opportunities during the degree. there's an on campus law practice :0#and a lot of places offer jobs through the uni instead of putting them on market#so pretty good stuff#tho i did see my almost-ex (we never really dated but he liked me and i humoured it for a couple days before i realised i did not like him)#and he was pissing me off there i dont feel strongly negatively but man i do not fw him#oh man we're tumblr mutuals hi if you see this.... i would block but i forgot his URL. dont think he uses this often?? ill have a look#and maybe block. yeah#update i scrolled through my tumblr messages to find him and it says his blog does not exist#anyway. wow i got off topic#oh yeah i didnt fw him during our short ideal either#bc i was all uhh yeah im not sure about this lets take it slow bro did NOT take it very slow#anyway it was kind of funny he very obviously liked me for weeks before i caught on it he said 'i like you' and i still did not realise#on halloween he was eager to suggest doing the lady and the tramp spaghetti move on a pocky stick as a 'challenge' and i thought nothing of#it#so that was a cool insight into how oblivious i am in the romance department

I having lots of emotions about not graduating this spring this evening and I don't appreciate it.
#my friend just got offered a national parks job#which is what he's wanted for years#we took a class together two falls ago and he was talking about it then#and i am so so happy for him#he has worked his ass off and deserves it#but i am also so sad for me#i feel like i've lost so much time to being sick and like i haven't accomplished the things i wanted to in college#but everyone else around me is#national parks jobs. fulbright finalists. grad school applications. editor of the school paper. starting a band. getting engaged soon.#idk i know this will pass and five years from now this will not seem like a big deal#but right now it is so heavy#and also i'm pretty lonely in my real life right now#my roommate spends so much time with her boyfriend who lives an hour away#my other friends are so busy i rarely see them#i don't live on campus anymore so i don't have a nearby community#i get most of my social interaction with my residents at work#and i love them but i do desperately need other kinds of social interaction#anyway everyone ignore this

what if I just don't go to college and live at the bottom of a pond instead
#post posting#the onlh schools i really like enough to spend four years of my life and thousands of dollars#either have ridiculous acceptance rates or dont have good art programs#theres always mass art but i dont really love it there#and i dont think i could get in#but i also dont want to work my ass off to get into a school with a low acceptance rate#just to end up feelinb stupid and surrounded by people a million times smarter than me#like. i want to be an art teacher. thats all i want. this shouldnt be so complicated.#i also really like hampshire college as a school#but i domt love the student environment/jobs prospects after?#and its really expensive for a school where you dont even get graded on things?#i love the course options and the campus#but i dont know that i love the school#like i dont want to spend all that money just to get an unspecified bachelor of arts#and have limited job prospects because of it#you know#ugh#they should invent a college that has the exact qualities that im looking for that i could actuallu get into
