BRO THE TOH FANDOM HAS LITERALLY DISAPPEARED 😭😭
i miss them sm that imma talk abt lumity
Tumblr media
can we just talk abt how these two are eachothers rocks? they are made for each other.
when luz came to the boiling isles, she was bright and cheery, always looking for the good in things. where as amity? she was too focused on being the best and her study’s to even enjoy life.
everything changed for amity when luz came along. luz helped amity break free from odalia and become her own person.
they eventually fell inlove and amity couldn’t be happier. In every episode after knock knock knocking on hootys door, amity was always there for luz no matter what, especially when luz opened up abt what happened to manny (her dad). amity didn’t know what to do but decided to try and help her gf no matter what, so she told luz they’d pick flowers together, in memory of manny.
when they got sent to the human realm, luz and amity’s personality’s switched. now amity was the bright and cheery one and luz was determined to get the witches back to their home, even if she had to risk everything for it. luz blamed herself for everything that had happened and amity knew that so amity tried her best to cheer luz up.
eventually they get the portal working yadayada and defeat belos. obvi luz yk 💀 (dies) and amity hadn’t seen her in so long
Tumblr media
this is the first time they see eachother after the fight for the boiling isles, knowing they won and belos is gone.
luz looks so happy to see her gf, and amity? she looks so relieved that luz is safe and sound, you can see it in her eyes that nothing else matters to her rn besides knowing that the girl who saved her from so many thing in her life e.g. helped her find herself, who helped her stand up to odalia and who risked her life to save her home, is safe.
they are each others rock, prove me wrong i dare you
anywho i love them sm and i’m so sad toh is over it’s been a whole year bro bring back my babies 😭

Ok so I’ve seen a lot of Darius not approving of Edric, but what about Edric’s parents? Alador is shown not to trust Hunter and Odalia would definitely not like her son dating a powerless witch.
I feel like Alador would want to be in his sons life more and would want Hunter to prove himself to be different because he’s trying to be a good parent
Odalia would probably try to force her way back into her kids lives and try to get Edric to date someone she deems “better”
Hunter would probably make a huge effort to prove himself to Alador and Edric would just be worried about Hunter trying too hard
Odalia would just end up making Edric mad for hurting Hunters feelings
This would probably end up with Edric going off on both of them like “I’m not that bright, big words confuse me, I have the attention span of a rodent, but Hunter loves me anyway, AND THAT SHOULD BE ENOUGH FOR YOU!”
(Fairly odparants reference)

Alador Blight: Hogwarts AU
Tumblr media
Alador Blight is a Pureblood wizard that was born on the 14th of September 1956 and started attending Hogwarts on the 1st of September 1968, being sorted into Ravenclaw House.
He has a Walnut wand with a Phoenix Feather core.
His Patronus is a Rat.
His favorite subjects were Potions and Charms.
His least favorite subjects were Defense Against the Dark Arts and Herbology.
Alador is a clumsy, easily distracted member of the Department of Mysteries. If something catches his attention, it can be quite hard for others to get him to focus on anything else. He doesn't seem to be very talkative, as he only speaks when necessary. When asked questions by others, such as Luz, he is as direct and concise as possible. Alador mostly lets his wife take the lead in situations, helping her with whatever she tells him to do, but he does have a limit. This is shown when Odalia tries to go back on her deal with Amity, and Alador reminds her that their family always honors their deals, indicating he has a sense of integrity and honor.
Alador also seems to object to his wife's willingness to put others in danger for profit. This is shown when an injured Luz claims the magic-powered robot has more than proven its strength to the spectators, and Alador tells his wife that Luz "has a point". Alador cares about Amity, as well as her progress, as indicated by his smile when Amity stands up to Odalia and almost destroys his work. This is also shown when Amity helps him take down Warden Wrath together, making a proud expression.
Although he does love them, Alador does not pay his children much attention, much to their frustration. This deeply strained his relationship with Amity, who seeks to prove her worth to him and to understand him better, especially when she finally reaches the age to compete in Hogwarts' Potion Tournament. Alador, believing that his daughter has a bright future and shouldn't "goof off" as he did at her age, refuses to let her participate and willingly goes along with the notion that she needs to study for her exams instead, under the belief that working for the ministry it is her dream. When he finds out that she disobeyed him, Alador is disappointed and furious with her, even remarking that she could fail if she doesn't focus more on her studies. However, Amity soon teaches him that she needs to make decisions without him and Odalia butting in, which he accepts.
Alador expresses shock when he learns that Amity no longer wants to work for the ministry, in addition to the fact that she is dating Luz, realizing that he hardly pays his children any attention because he is too focused on his work. Feeling regret over how he treated Amity, Alador begins to see her for who she wants to be, admitting that he likes her new hair color and resolving to speak with Odalia about attempting to dye her hair green again. Although Amity doesn't fully forgive him, she appreciates that he's trying to be better, saying that "it's a start".
After getting on a new start with Amity, Alador slowly resolves to pay more attention to his children and defy his wife's control. Tired and overworked by Odalia, he reflects on his marriage, feeling miserable and unaccomplished. Eventually, Odalia's intentions on keeping Amity, Luz, and their friends prisoner while helping Belos exterminate their species for her own personal gain causes Alador to snap, and he finally stands up to Odalia, destroying their mansion and disabling the rest of the robots he created. He also quits his post at the ministry, slowly developing and turning over a new leaf for the greater good. Alador also seems to have grown fond of Luz, inviting her to stay at the new Blight Manor anytime (although an illusion then reveals that Luz is actually Hunter, shocking him).

Mitty with the sickie (Sunshine AU)
IT'S SICKTEMBER BABY!!! LETS GO SICKFICS LETS GO!
Summary: Amity gets sick and regresses but Lilith takes care of her!
There will be a warning and ending for the people with emetophobia when those types of scenes appear
Lilith woke up bright and early on Monday morning. It was a work day for her and a school day for Amity. As she was getting changed and ready for the day, she remembered that Amity regressed last night after dinner. She wondered if the girl was still feeling small and if she should get her changed into her baby class uniform or her normal one. Because Amity would need little time so often, the school made her go to the baby class if she regressed during school. She couldn’t hang out in Lilith’s class the whole time, unfortunately. But she still had lots of fun and safely regressed when in the baby class.
When Lilith was changed and ready, she was gonna start making breakfast but she realized that Amity wasn’t up yet. That was pretty strange. Big or Little, Amity always woke up early. So she decided to check on her and see if she was okay.
Lilith opened the door to Amity’s room, the only light on was her nightlight. Her bed was in its crib mode and had bars on its side. There was a little tent/canopy above the bed that hung from the ceiling. Lilith walked over the oversized crib and pulled down the bars.
“Amity~ it’s time to get up. Are you feeling big or little, sweetflea?” She asked the bundle of blankets.
Instead of a verbal response, Amity just whimpered and tried to curl up more. Lilith frowned. Was she okay? This was beyond strange for her. Then, Amity turned over, facing the historian. Now she knew something was wrong.
Amity’s face was flushed and beads of sweat rolled down her face. Her paci was nowhere to be found, probably having fallen out of her mouth during the night. She also seemed to be shaking ever so slightly.
“Baby…Are you not feeling well?” Lilith asked. The girl nodded and whimpered, curling up tighter in the fetal position. This was most definitely troubling.
“Okay, sweetie, let me go grab the thermometer,” Lilith said before quickly leaving the room and heading towards the bathroom. She dug through the medicine cabinet, trying to find the thermometer. There was so much garbage and expired stuff in there. She really needed to clean it out.
Once she finally found it, she made her way towards Amity’s nursery. Suddenly, she heard a loud sob and cry come from her room. Worried, Lilith picked up her pace and ran over.
“Amity?! Are you okay?!” she gasped and ran over to the bed.
Tw: throwing up
Amity was sat up, bawling her eyes out as she gagged. Lilith noticed a small cluster puddle in the poor baby’s lap. She put the thermometer on the nightstand and rubbed her back as she continued to heave.
“It’s okay, sweetie, just get it out.” she comforted
“B-bu mak-k-king m-mess,” Amity stuttered through heaves. When she was younger, if Amity threw up anywhere but the toilet, she would be yelled at and forced to clean it up, no matter how well or ill she was feeling. So it confused her when Lilith encouraged her. Odalia would’ve told her to hold it in and suffer through it.
“No, I don’t care that you’re making a mess. I want you to feel better. We have to wash your onesie and blanket anyways,” Lilith assured her as she rubbed her back.
Amity heaved and retched a few more times until her stomach was completely empty. So many tears had fallen afterwards. She felt so bad for making a mess.
Tw: throw up ended
“Shhh, It’s okay, sweetie, you’re not in trouble,” Lilith told her. Once she was sure that she was okay, she lifted her up and carried her to the bathroom. She let her wash her mouth out while she was getting the bath ready. During this, she took her temperature which led to her figuring out she had a moderate fever.

She got her undressed and changed out of her sodden diaper. Luckily, there was nothing inside of the padding that was out of the ordinary that could be concerning. It just seemed to be the Flu or a stomach bug. In this world, getting a stomach bug wasn’t very common as it usually was caused by an actual insect that had been consumed.
Lilith got the girl cleaned up in no time, probably making it their fastest bath time yet. The poor girl just wanted to be clean, not wanting to play with her bath toys or drawing with her tub crayons.
Once she was all dried off, she got her changed into her fluffy pajamas and a new diaper that could be heated up with a heating glyph. It was made mainly to help with moon cycle (period or MANLYstruation for my trans boys) cramps for littles or just for comfort. She mainly had them because Amity had her moon cycle a couple weeks prior. They provided her a lot of comfort and helped with her tummy.
When she was done getting her baby dressed in her comfy clothes, she brought her into the master bedroom. It would be a lot better than having her sleep on the couch. Back pain was real. It wasn’t just something that happened when you were older. There was no way she was gonna let Amity be sick AND have back pain from something that could’ve been prevented.
“Wh-why we in here?” Amity asked when she was placed under the covers of Lilith's bed.
“I have to wash your sheets, Ami. You’re gonna rest up in my bed for now,” She explained.
Amity was even more confused now. She didn’t deserve to sleep in the master bed. She deserved the couch because of how gross she was.
“Bu-”
“Shh,” Lilith put a finger in front of her lips, “You deserve a nice bed to rest in. If you don’t rest comfortably, then you won’t recover fast,”
Amity whined a little, but got comfy under the covers. Lilith left for a moment to grab some supplies to help her. Amity tried to her best not to whine or complain when she left, but it was still hard.
She waited five minutes until Lilith finally came back. Her head hurt and her body ached. She wanted to snuggle up and take a nap. She wanted her paci, even though she couldn’t due to her clogged nose. That was probably the worst part. The stupid stuffed up nose. Titan, she HATED having a clogged nose. It was horrible and so annoying and uncomfortable and always made her already sore throat even worse.
Lilith had Amity’s Otabin stuffy, a bottle with water, cold medicine (bleh), tissues, and a washcloth. She handed Amity her stuffy and put the bottle on her nightstand. She disappeared into the master bathroom  with the washcloth but came out a few seconds later with said washcloth but it was damp and cold. After placing it on Amity’s forehead, she poured some cold medicine into a small cup. The disgusting syrup smelled nasty and had a texture that the autistic witch hated.
“Nu!” she yelled when Lilith finished pouring it.
“Amity… it’s gonna help lower your fever and clear up your sinuses,” She tried to explain. However, Amity didn’t understand these big kid words. Sinuses? What was that?!
“Dun wanna take it…” She mumbled
“Please, sweetie? If you take it, we can watch all the Azura movies and spin-offs while you’re on bedrest” Lilith negotiated. Amity hesitated before opening her mouth. She didn’t want to get on Lilith’s bad side by being bratty and not taking her meds.
The historian poured the syrupy liquid down her throat. Amity swallowed it and made a little face.
“Bleh! Gwoss…” She mumbled. Lilith chuckled and put the cold medicine on the top shelf in the bathroom.
She sat down with her and they watched Azura movies all day. They would pause whenever Lilith would have to bottle feed Amity broth, or if Amity needed a change. Lilith did have to call the school and have Bump substitute a few of her classes. She knew that the twins and her friends would probably come over after school to see how she was doing but she also didn’t want to get anyone else sick. Hopefully they had a few masks in the house. Amity would most likely want to see her friends and siblings. But until then, Lilith did her best to help Amity relax.

Imma gonna take a guess that Allison runs the house with an iron fist (where my brain went seeing the family portrait of everyone wearing Allison’s color…sooo Odalia Bright vibes)
Ohhhh yeah she has very rigid schedules for the kids, extracurricular activities (she's probably the one who forced Dipper to pick up the sousaphone (which I think he does enjoy playing even if he's embarassed by it) she probably also has Mabel in ballet or some other kind of structured dance class that she isn't really into bc this girl just wants to freestyle), homework times, strict bedtimes, the whole 9 yards.

A The Count of Monte Cristo AU with Eda in the role of Edmond Dantes and Raine in the role of Mercedes. The setting is mainly the Demon Realm, so most characters are Witches and Demons, but there is contact with the Human Realm by way of trading. The Covens exist, thought there is no mandatory joining and branding with Coven Seals - at least it’s not widely done.
Eda Cawthorne is accused of treason and sent to a horrible prison on the same night she was going to propose to her partner, Raine Whispers. The people who framed Eda are Odalia Bright, Terra Snapdragon, and Phillip Witterbane.
Philip wanted to discredit the respected Cawthorne Family, so he could get enough power and influence to become the ruler of the Boiling Isles, and one of them being accused of treason would ruin their reputation; Terra wanted control over Raine and felt that it would be easier without Eda’s influence on them, and because she wanted the two to suffer by separating them; Eda and Odalia were once friends but Odalia was secretly jealous and resentful of her power and skills, so she joined forces with Phillip and Terra to frame Eda.
Eda spends almost 12 years in the prison (losing an arm), until she learns about a great treasure and escapes. Not sure who could be in the role of Abbé Faria, but they help Eda escape at the cost of their life.
On her way to the island where the treasure is (Titan’s Hold), Eda meet Luz Noceda, an orphan human whom Eda takes in as her apprentice. Arriving at the island, they find baby King, along with the treasure.
Once they have the treasure, Eda and company return the the Boiling Isles. Eda reunites with her Lilith Clawthorne, her sister, and discovers that her parents are dead and that people think Eda died in prison. She also learns that Raine cut contact with Lilith/seemingly forgot about Eda to become Head of the Bard Coven.
(Terra is Head of the Plant Coven and seemingly a confidant to Raine, Odalia has achieved prestige due to Blight Industries (it’s thanks to her husband) while Phillip is well on his way to become Emperor, and fulfill his secret agenda).
Betrayed, Eda swears to destroy everyone who had a hand in sending her to jail. She spends the next 8 years plotting her revenge with the help of Lilith, Luz, King, even recruiting some other young witches who have been hurt by the elite (Gus, Willow, the Detention Track Kids).
20 years after her arrest, Eda infiltrates high-society as Marilyn, the Countess of Titan’s Hold. As she works to full-fill her revenge plans, Eda is reunited with Raine who doesn’t recognize her. Eda is surprised that Raine doesn't seem happy with their Coven Head position and that they still fondly remember Eda, even playing their song from time to time. Eda tries focusing on her anger at Raine, but she still has feelings for them.
Meanwhile, Luz (presented as Countess Marilyn’s daughter) becomes close with Amity Blight, Odalia’s youngest child. At first, it was to get some dirt on Odalia, but then Luz fell in love with Amity and helped her break free of Odalia’s control. Amity eventually discovers the truth about Luz, and decides to help her clear Eda’s name by finding evidence of her mother’s dirty dealings.
Eda discovers that the reason why Raine became a Coven Head was to the find proof of Phillip’s, Terra’s, and Odalia’s corruption to clear Eda’s name. Raine still loves Eda, and her apparent death nearly broke them, but they used it to fuel their determination to bring the corrupted elites down. Witnessing Raine’s devotion to her, Eda reveals her identity to them. Cue tearful reunion!
The rest is kind of predictable: they find evidence of corruption and destroy Phillip, Terra, and Odalia in satisfying ways. It might involves intense battle sequences cause these bastards won’t go down without a fight.
Eda and Raine finally marry, Lumity becomes official, everyone lives happily ever after. The end.
I’m changing the characters ages a bit to fit in with the story.
Eda is 24 when she’s imprisoned, around 36 when she escapes, and 44 during the main events. Raine is the same age as Eda. Luz, Amity, and the kids are all aged up to around 20-22 years. King is his canon age of about 8 years old.
People don’t recognize Countess Marilyn as Eda because of her now silver hair (she has orange hair the last time most people saw her), and because she hides her distinctive golden eyes behind sunglasses.
Eda still has her curse, but she made peace with the Owl Beast sometime after she escaped. Lilith still cursed Eda, but it was an accident instead of purposely.
I've never read The Count of Monte Cristo but I'll share this anyways

To say that Kikimora was having a rough day would be an understatement. Well, more like a rough week if she was being perfectly honest with herself.
As stressful as her job in the emperor’s coven was, at least it didn’t require any physical labor. But she had no such luck with her new job.
After the emperor was rightfully defeated, and Kiki’s attempt at building her own empire was thwarted, she had been sentenced to community service. On one hand, she got off much easier compared to the likes of Terra Snapdragon or Odalia Blight. But on the other hand, it was still wildly unpleasant. The worst part wasn’t the jobs themselves, but the fact that she was now working under those she took a very strong disliking to.
The brats she had integrated herself in with when the Collector took over? They were now in charge. That one kid with the fake stubble especially seemed to enjoy it. The Golden Guard was now happily working as... something. She honestly didn’t know, and told herself that she didn’t care.
She didn’t even know why the Golden Guard was still taking up so much of her headspace. On the bright side, she was technically, mostly rid of him. She certainly didn’t have to listen to his voice as much as she used to. Still, she had multiple other brats to hear.
And speaking of which, there was one right now! The youngest Blight’s ship sailed overhead, seemingly ready to land. Kiki’s blood boiled slightly. Mainly from the thought that she’s wasn’t even able to fly one of those things when she worked in the coven. And now here was a petulant child flying one.

If The Owl House had a fighting game Pt 1: the roster
A stupid thing that I really like doing.
One of my favorite games of all time is Dissidia: Final Fantasy. It's a one player 3D fighting game using the Final Fantasy characters. Since I've been playing it lately and it's in my head. So I thought it would be fun to see what it would be like if they did Dissidia, but with The Owl House characters.
First, we gotta check out the full roster. We'll do the key like this
Character Name Fighting Style: How the character plays with moves unique to them.
Let's see. Who to include...
Luz Noceda Glyph Witch: Uses a wide array of glyph combos for various spells.
Eda Clawthorne Harpy Lady: Can transform into her harpy mode for attacks that deal huge damage.
King Clawthorne Titan Prince: Uses sonic attacks for long distance fighting.
Willow Park Derby Captain: Flies around overwhelming opponents with plant magic.
Gus Porter Illusionary Showman: Casts illusions to confuse and mislead opponents.
Amity Blight Abomination Brawler: Uses abomination magic to enhance melee attacks.
Boscha Grudgby Ace: Pummels opponents with grudgby moves.
Lilith Clawthorne Historian & Assistant: Sets glyph traps and attacks with Hooty.
Vee Magic Eater: Absorbs opponents' power to transform and counterattack.
Hunter Golden Flash: Teleports in high speed dashes to chain long combos.
Emira Blight Bright Healer: Casts buffs and debuffs to keep the advantage against her opponent.
Edric Blight Track Changer: Alternates movesets between Illusions, Beastkeeping and Potions for unpredictable sequences
Alador Blight Abomination Engineer: Uses machines and abomination for two-hit combos.
Odalia Blight Weapon Oracle: Attacks with abomination weapons and a spirit familiar to corner opponents.
Raine Whispers Rebel Bard: Uses mid-range attacks to keep opponents at a distance.
Darius Deamonne Total Abomination: Transforms his body for various melee attacks.
Eberwolf the Huntsman Beast Incarnate: Alternates between short range melee attacks and summons beast for long range attacks.
Terra Snapdragon Poison Plant: Debuffs opponents for easy attacks.
Adrian Graye Vernworth Dodgy Thespian: Uses clones to dodge and attack from behind.
Warden Wrath Fiery Jailer: Grabs opponents and drags them in for short range melee attacks.
Kikimora Abomaton Pilot: Uses a abomaton to attack and immobilize opponents.
Emperor Belos Witch Hunter: Transforms his body and cast spells to attack at any range.
The Collector Child of the Stars: Deals massive damage with unpredictable spells.
Who would you play as?

Isn't too extreme trying to cut so many TOH players? Like, I doubt it'd fix the problems. Besides, how would you fix the so called race issue on Owl House?
Very simple really
TOH's main problem (once again disclaimer: in my opinion) is that it has too many characters and not enough screentime for any of them (even in S1 and S2). This also disproportionately affects characters of colour (mainly Gus and Willow) as there are less characters of colour outside of Luz in the main cast (Amity, Emira, Edric, Alador, Odalia, Eda, Eda's entire family including Lilith, Belos, Hunter). This is shown most clearly in having episodes dedicated entirely to Amity's family dynamics, Hunter's family dynamics, Eda's family dynamics, yet Gus and Willow are never given the same treatment.
If you have less characters by merging certain ones that already had overlapping themes and roles together, you have more time to focus on them as singular characters. If you have more time to focus on the smaller cast that you have, you cull TOH's main race issue of sidelining every character of colour that isn't Luz. Like I love Gus, he's one of my favourites. He contributes virtually nothing to the plot the same way that Amity's siblings contribute virtually nothing to plot, and all three of them are illusionists.
It's kinda like how Flapjack died, gave Hunter magic, and then Hunter used that magic once (and not even in the final battle). Like great, he has magic! Why, though? What was the point in killing off his best friend to give him magical powers that he uses one (1) time? That'd be like killing off Bait just so Ezran can make a bright light when Callum or Rayla are sad. There's no Plot Point or Significance surrounding it; it's just There.
You could also solve some of my own personal issues with the show (i.e. that many characters are completely removed from the main stakes of the plot and are only entangled because they're friends with Luz, with no goals that bring them into the plot outside of that beyond general "we don't want our world to be destroyed" in later episodes).
If you're open to having a critical discussion on TOH's flaws and virtues, then this conversation (and my meta and TOH critical tag) might be for you. But given that you dismiss it as so-called, it doesn't seem like it - and that's okay. We don't always want to see critique, or participate in critique, of something we love, nor do we have to 'perform' to Prove we're 'thinking critically' about something in an online space. I just don't think TOH is a Great show, the same way I'm sure some people don't think TDP is a Great show. It's not personal. You don't need to act like it is.

Fanfic of Odalia finding out Willow was technically recruited to the EC (about 1k words, takes place after Any Sport in a Storm but before Hollow Mind)
Having Willow Park over in the Blight household was always a risky decision. Fortunately, Odalia Blight won’t be home for a little while longer. Amity Blight savors the final bit of time she gets with her friend before she’ll have to shoo her home and pretend it all never happened. The two paint each others’ nails. Willow decorates Amity’s with a bright pink, a pleasant change from her usual black polish. Willow insists on choosing a soft red. Interesting, Amity notes, I didn’t know she liked red. It was really no surprise that the plant witch would gravitate toward the color green. The green continue their peaceful moment when there was a knock on the door.
Amity opens the door to find an intricate uniform and golden mask. Willow, standing behind her, runs and tackles Hunter in a hug. He removes the mask while Amity smirks, happy that her friend is finally branching out.
“Hunter!” Willow cries, happily.
“Oh, hi, Willow. I wasn’t aware you’d be here,” he replies. Amity coughs. “Right. Hi, Amity.”
“Hi. How’re you doing?” Amity asks, genuinely curious.
“Me? Fine,” he seems surprised she asked. “I kinda expected you to be more, uh, mad. At me.” Willow winces.
“I was never mad at you,” Amity says, flatly. “I was-” She trails off. I was worried about you.
“Oh, um, thanks good, I guess.”
“So,” Amity inquires, “what are you doing here, then?”
“The abomatons,” Hunter explains, “I’m supposed to check with your parents on the progress.”
“They’re not here right now,” Amity says.
“And thank Titan for that,” Willow scoffs, causing Hunter to tilt his head in confusion.
“Why’s that?” he asks.
“They don’t really like Willow,” Amity frowns, “They think she’s too weak to be my friend. A bad influence or whatever.”
“Willow?” Hunter looks confused. “As in, Willow Park. The strongest plant witch I’ve ever seen?”
Amity laughs, noticing the small flowers sprouting in Willow’s hair. She hadn’t seen that happen since they were kids. She fiddles with her scroll, wanting to take a picture of their faces for Luz, when she notices the flyer derby photos Willow had sent her. She smirks. Amity may have an opportunity here. She starts planning her idea, while still spanning a photo of her flustered friends to show her awesome girlfriend.
“Mom’s always saying that I only should associate with ‘witches of higher status,’” Willow and Hunter turn to look at her. “That people of ‘lower class’ would never get opportunities in the Emperor’s Coven. What if we showed her how wrong she was?”
Both her friends grin. She leans in to tell them the plan, laughing at their silly additions. Titan, she missed this. Being a silly, weird kid. Amity texts Luz to let her know what they’re doing, promising to send her a picture of Odalia’s reaction. What are girlfriends for if not to show each other your pranks, right? After today, she’s positive Willow can agree.
Before they know it Odalia is on her way home. The girls sneak Hunter around to the corner until his cue. Amity and Willow resume chatting, laughing about when Boscha humiliated herself at school the previous day or that silly game Luz taught them a few weeks ago. The door creaks open. Odalia Blight, stern, uptight, rude, and downright awful, storms in. She looks exhausted, probably from watching Alador do all the work while she just stands there. Amity scoffs.
“Amity Blight!” she cries, making Amity look up so fast she fears she hurt her neck. “What is the Park girl doing here?” She says it with so much disgust Willow looks equal parts angry and ashamed. Amity holds back the urge to apologize. She’s done nothing wrong.
“We’re friends, Mom,” she says bluntly, “We’re hanging out.”
“Nonsense, Mittens,” Odalia responds, “Blights only associate with a select few. Half witches are not in that group.”
Amity sees red. “She is not half a witch! She’s my friend and you will respect her!” Amity shouts.
“Oh, please, Mittens, this rebellious streak of yours has gotten out of hand,” Odalia says.
“Rebellious?” Willow challenges. “What’s rebellious about hanging out with a friend?”
Odalia is about to retort, stooping so low as to argue with a couple of children when there’s a pounding on the door. Odalia rolls her eyes at the girls and opens the door, completely missing their twin smirks behind her. Amity watches as she immediately drops to a knee at the sight of the Golden Guard. Seeing her mother grovel was surprisingly satisfying.
“Sir!” Odalia exclaims. Willow holds back a giggle. “To what do I owe this pleasure?”
“Mrs. Blight,” the Guard addresses her. That’s all Amity can call him because that
doesn’t feel like her friend. He sounds like the boy she’s mad at, not the one she’s worried about. “I’m here looking for Ms. Willow Park.”
“What, to arrest her? I always knew that one was trouble,” Odalia grumbles, “Please, take her away. And don’t blame my family for any of her transgressions. My daughter was merely-”
The Guard cuts her off. “I’m not here to arrest her. I was going to see if I could get her to rethink my proposal.”
“Proposal?” Odalia inquires. Willow blushes.
“I had invited her to join the coven personally, but she declined. Even if I can’t get her to join I’m trying to get Ms. Park to show the coven her remarkable powers.”
“B-but…” Odalia stutters. “She’s simply half a witch! She can hardly do magic at all!”
“Nonsense. Ms. Park’s magic took some time to appear, but it’s amazing, it’s beautiful, it’s-” he coughs. “Anyway, just call her over and I’ll be on my way.” Amity doesn’t miss how red Willow was getting.
Willow strolls up to the door. “Hello, sir,” she says with a little curtsy.
He bows to her, making stifling laughter at Odalia’s shock. “Ms. Park! Have you considered my offer?”
“I have,” Willow says, struggling not to giggle, “And I’d love to accompany you to learn more about the coven. If the Golden Guard, himself, wants to personally invite me to the castle to convince me to join the prestigious Emperor’s Coven, who am I to refuse?” Willow sighs dramatically.
Amity winks at them as Odalia turns to face her, mouth wide open. “Have fun!”
Amity doesn’t miss the way their hands join as the door closes. Odalia looks pale, her already light skin gone paper white. She shakes, muttering nonsensical phrases.
“But, I, she, I, what-?” Odalia gasps before passing out in shock.
Amity finally lets herself laugh, wild and reckless and childish and stupid. She feels better than she has in a long time. She takes a picture of Odalia, sends it to Luz, and smiles, walking back up to her room.

Prompt: Camila meets Odalia...& proceeds to gives her a Good spanking.
Prompt: Camila meets Alador & learns about the blights (aka Camila wants to give Odalia a Good spanking)
SLAP
The noise echoed off the clearing that everyone had gathered in. Amity looked up from her father's arms as Alador let out a low whistle. "Wow, she got angrier than I thought."
"What? What did you say?"
Alador shrugged. "Just...Some things. Don't worry about it."
SLAP
Her- Odalia was leaning away from Camila, her hand to her cheek, a bright fuming red from the chancla her girlfriend's mom had pulled out of nowhere. "Wha- HOW DARE YOU-"
SLAP
"How dare I?! How dare YOU! YOU-" Camila's English broke into a mess of Spanish Amity could only half understand, broken up by shrieks of rage from her and shrieks of terror as Odalia folded under the furious slaps.
Ed and Em exchanged looks. They both looked at Amity. She shrugged and they both broke into grins, admiring light filling their eyes as they turned back to the scene.
"That's your mother-in-law?"
"So that's where Luz gets it."

SCOM Next Chapter Preview:
Tumblr media
“The first Nommeking witches to catch a grim in centuries!” The spiked demon chuckled. “We should be getting some sort of award!”
The rail thin witch’s eyes opened wide. “WHAT THE?”
In one fluid motion, Hunter had whipped his body around giving his first captor a headbutt so strong that he fell back several feet.
Or at least that’s what Hunter imagined based on the distance of the screaming. His own vision was bright with stars from the pain.
“Now I know how Lilith felt when she did that to Odalia!” He thought to himself. “But I wonder if it hurt her as much? Hopefully I’ll get out of this so I can ask her.”

Amity Blight: Hogwarts AU
Tumblr media
Amity Blight is a Pureblood witch that was born on the 8th of December 1984 and started attending Hogwarts on the 1st of September 1996, being sorted into Slytherin House.
She has a English Oak wand with a Unicorn Hair Core.
Her Patronus is a White Cat.
Her favorite subject is Charms and her least favorite is Ancient Runes.
She was one of the Slytherin Prefects of her year, Head-Girl and a Chaser for the quidditch team from her fourth year onward.
Amity is described as a bright and competitive individual, with a passionate drive to succeed and rise to the best, both in school and in society. This could be seen in her dream to one day work for the Ministry of Magic. When she and Luz first met, however, Amity was shown to be very proud and arrogant, to the point of being boastful, haughty, and confrontational. As the "Top Student" of her year, Amity took pride in her status as the best student in her year and went as far as to use it as a bragging right often to get what she wanted. This caused her to look down on other students who weren't as successful as she was and often teased them for it, in which she would brag about her superiority while offering them half-hearted encouragement.
Additionally, Amity didn't take kindly to those who she felt were stealing her spotlight, and would spitefully attempt to get back at them in order to prove her superiority, as she twice attempted to do to with Luz. In line with her vindictiveness, Amity also showed a lack of responsibility and was unwilling to admit when she was at fault, instead directing blame onto others for her own mistakes. Like many witches and wizards from old wizarding families, Amity also initially held muggles (and Muggleborns) in low regard due to their inability to wield magic on their own.
Eventually, however, Amity was shown to possess a much more sensitive side to her personality, which she kept hidden beneath her sense of superiority. This sensitivity was shown when her reputation was compromised, becoming extremely frustrated and deeply depressed whenever she failed to meet her own standards for success. Along with her hidden vulnerable side, Amity was also much kinder than she initially let on. This was first shown when she was genuinely impressed by Luz's commitment in becoming a powerful witch, showing that she genuinely respects those who demonstrate hard work and determination.
In addition, Amity possesses a vehement hatred of cheating. This was demonstrated when she appalled and ashamed when Lilith had unknowingly caused her to cheat during her duel with Luz, showing that she wishes to succeed based on the validation of her tireless effort. Another prominent trait of Amity's kindness is her fondness for children. Though initially stern and cynical towards those her own age, Amity was extremely sweet and patient towards smaller children, with her enjoying reading to the first years in the öibrary. Additionally, it has been revealed that like Luz, Amity is a fan of the Good Witch Azura book series, which served as an important factor in their eventual friendship.
It was eventually revealed that Amity's negative traits were the result of the controlling influence of her parents, namely her emotionally abusive mother, Odalia. This included her seeming desire of working at the ministry, which was, in truth, forced upon her by Odalia. When shown in her mother's presence, Amity's usual confidence and pride were replaced with a submissive and depressed demeanor, due to the deep fear she held of her mother's judgment. Her desperation to live up to her parents' expectations also caused her to conceal her softer traits, having been taught that showing such emotions were signs of weakness.
This suggests that much of Amity's haughty demeanor was, in truth, a facade to hide her emotional insecurities. In truth, after her parents forced her to cut ties with Willow, Amity was an extremely miserable and lonely individual, who took no pleasure in the company of the "friends" she usually hung out with, having only done so at her parents' command. As was revealed in her diary entries, this caused her to secretly yearn for true companionship, while also deeply regretting the meanness she showed towards others at school, both of which she attempted to hide in order to maintain the standards of strength demanded of her by her parents. It was later revealed that Amity's deepest desire during this time is to escape her parents' control and choose her own path in life. Ultimately, a leading factor in Amity's emotional development and maturity would be her friendship and eventual romance with Luz. Initially, Amity was very hostile and resentful of Luz, but, as time passed, she became increasingly touched by the constant kindness that Luz showed her. After being saved by Luz from a corrupted Otabin, Amity came to realize that her initial misgivings about Luz were wrong and slowly began opening up to her, with the two forming a connection due to their mutual fondness of the Azura series. As her friendship with Luz grew, Amity gradually began to be kinder to others, while also slowly beginning to make amends with Willow, reconnecting with her older siblings and distancing herself from Boscha's group to the point of standing against them in defense of her newfound friends.
Eventually, as their friendship grew, Amity would develop a strong crush on Luz, being enamored by the muggleborn's unwavering kindness and empathetic nature. However, due to her lack of experience with romantic attractions, this crush would often manifest in the form of extreme nervousness, clumsiness, and spontaneous blushing when she found herself in Luz's presence. By the time of the Yule Ball in their fifth year, her attraction for Luz had reached such a point that her deepest fear became being rejected by Luz. It was later through her love for Luz that Amity would eventually find the courage to stand up to her parents. When Odalia attempted have Luz killed, Amity furiously came to her crush's defense and defied her mother's orders for the first time, showing impressive bravery and determination to not only protect Luz but also to exert her freedom from the controlling influence that she had long been subjected to. This courage was exemplified once again when Amity began dying her hair purple instead of green, despite knowing her mother would be angered by this, further symbolizing her growing sense of independence.
Since standing up to her parents and becoming Luz's girlfriend, Amity's personality has significantly improved and matured. In contrast to her initial proud, irritable and cynical demeanor, Amity has since become much happier, friendly, patient, and humble, regularly smiling and no longer suppressing the better qualities that she previously kept hidden. In addition to her newfound friendliness, Amity has also become much wiser and forgiving. This was demonstrated when despite being tempted to sneak into Luz's dorm to discover what she had been hiding, Amity refused to violate her girlfriend's privacy and instead allowed Luz to inform her on her own terms. Her forgiveness even extends out to her enemies, as she was able to empathize with Hunter due to their similar insecurities and offered him a chance at redemption during their quest for salamander's blood. Additionally, Amity has abandoned her previous aspirations of working for the ministry, recognizing that she only pursued this goal at the behest of her mother's ambitions rather than her own desires.
Despite her newfound development, Amity still retains some of the insecurities she endured under her mother's yoke. After she and Luz first started dating, Amity was shown to be very fearful of Luz breaking up with her if she failed to secure salamander's blood for her from the Potions classroom, which made her fall victim to Hunter's manipulations. These fears most likely stemmed from Odalia raising her to believe that love and appreciation can only be received by meeting others' expectations. Also, it has been shown that Amity still possesses much guilt over her years of bullying Willow and desperately wishes to make up for her previous cruelty. This, however, caused her to act irrationally and become very overprotective of Willow during Adrian Graye's attack on Hogwarts, which not only served to hinder their attempts to escape Graye's men, but also unintentionally undermine and upset Willow rather than help her. Fortunately, in both instances, by accepting advice from her friends (King in the former and Willow in the latter) Amity was able to recognize her mistakes and worked hard to correct them, further showing how she has now come to listen and accept the advice of others and take responsibility for the errors she makes.
Though now much warmer and friendly, Amity still possesses a fierce temper when provoked, and can be quite threatening to those who earn her wrath. This even extended to her mother Odalia, whom Amity became increasingly estranged with, to the point of attempting to attack her after she expressed her disgust at Amity dating Luz and later when it was revealed that she was willingly aiding Belos' plans of genocide on the anniversary of Hogwarts founding, which culminated in her fully cutting ties with her mother and finally freeing herself from her toxic influence.
By the time of her sixth year, Amity has since become increasingly carefree, cheerful and fun-loving, and developing a sense of optimism somewhat similar to Luz's. Among her friends, Amity is often shown as the most levelheaded, causing her to often assume a sort of leadership role among the group, trying very hard to get Luz out of her depression and not holding anything against her when Belos told everyone how she helped him achieve power, fully aware that Luz's kindness was taken advantage of. In addition, she maintains her willingness to forgive her enemies, having been able to empathize with Boscha's loneliness even after she betrayed them and later being the first among her friends after Luz to befriend the Collector after he aided them in the final battle against Belos, which also further demonstrated her soft spot for children. Despite this, she still maintains some of her competitive traits, though to a far smaller degree, as was demonstrated in her frustration to being unable to properly read ancient runes during her lessons with Luz, and later quietly voicing her displeasure at not being the top student in her friends' Spanish lessons.
In the four years since Belos' defeat and cutting ties with her mother Odalia, Amity continues to maintain her warm-hearted and cheerful personality, having finally obtained the freedom and compassion she had always longed for, while also maintaining her relationship with Luz and restoring her damaged bonds with her father and former mentor Lilith. Additionally, she has come to develop an extremely adventurous side and becoming skilled in magical engineering.

The Bad Grade (Sunshine AU)
Summary: Amity gets a bad grade and her panic makes her slip.
Notes: If you guys have any more ideas for this Au, I'll gladly write them!
It was the day after test day. Also known to be very stressful for most kids. Figuring out you got a bad grade and having to show your parents wasn’t a very nice experience. However, Amity usually wasn’t very stressed. She usually got really good grades and never got anything below an A. so she was pretty confident that she would be getting something good.
She sat down in the last class of the day, ready for her test to be handed to her and be praised on how she did a good job. She was very confident and kind of excited. Maybe she would get her top student badge back! Even though she knew it was just a piece of plastic and didn’t really mean anything, a part of her still felt like it was important.
Once class started, the teacher began handing out tests for the students to look over. Amity smiled when the teacher came over to her. However, they didn’t smile back. They frowned.
“I was pretty disappointed, Miss Blight. You usually do so well,” They handed the piece of paper to her and as she read it, her heart dropped.
The number 79 was written at the top with red ink.
Instantly, she started to panic. What would her mother think of her?! She didn’t want to get beaten again. But wait, she didn’t live with her mother. She couldn’t punish her. But Lilith could. What if she was mad and didn’t let her live with her anymore? What if she took away her stuff or made her train more harshly? No, she wouldn’t do that, would she? She felt like she couldn’t breathe or move. She didn’t feel like she was in class anymore. It felt like she was dissociating. She started shaking as she tried to keep the tears from falling.
Why did she feel like crying? This shouldn’t be a big deal but for some reason, it felt major.
She felt herself involuntarily start to slip. Her little brain was turning on and she couldn’t stop it. Why was this happening? She needed to stay big. But the world felt too scary and her anxiety made it worse. Her big kid brain was scared of being punished so her baby brain was just trying to protect her.
“Amity? You okay?” Luz asked, putting a hand on her shoulder. She was worried for her girlfriend. She saw how she was shaking and looked distraught.
“w-wan…L-l-lilith…” Her little self spoke up.
‘Why would you say that? Are you trying to get us beaten?!’ her big brain yelled at her.
‘But Lilith is Mama… she wouldn’t huwt us. She loves us!’ her baby side said.
As her two sides argued, she could feel her big brain start to give in. Her little side was taking over, soon making her nothing but a small little baby.
“Okay, Hun, I’ll take you to your Mama. Can you walk?” Luz asked. Amity shook her head, knowing she was gonna have the case of the good ol’ jelly legs.
Luz chewed on her lip, trying to figure out what to do. It would look weird and might embarrass her if she picked her up but she also didn’t know the glyphs for the safety hover yet. She would just have to carry her.
“Excuse me? Mx. teacher? Amity’s not feeling well, she says she can’t feel her legs. Can I take her to see Miss Lilith?” Luz asked, raising her hand. The teachers were aware of the existence of Littles and even let some hang out in the baby class. But Luz didn’t want to go and out Amity as being a little so this was the best option.
The teacher had been made aware of Amity’s living situation and knew that Lilith was her current guardian until Odalia stopped trying to postpone the court date and finally got convicted of child abuse.
“Sure,” They said
Luz picked up Amity and her bag and started to carry her. A couple students giggled and whispered, making Amity’s face go bright red with embarrassment, but the anxiety of her test made her quickly forget about it.
Luz carried her down the hall and knocked on Liliths door. Amity had started crying into Luz’s shoulder by the time Lilith opened the door.
“Amity? What happened?!” She quickly took Amity into her arms. The sweet affection and worry had her sobbing and hiccuping into Lilith’s chest.
“Shh, shh,” Lilith rocked her.
Luckily, Lilith didn’t teach any classes for 1st and 7th period so there was no one else in the room. She sat down with Amity in her arms, whispering sweet nothings into her ear to try and get her to calm down. Luz decided to let them be and return to class.
It took a while for Amity to calm down enough to speak. Lilith wanted to ask her what was wrong but was worried it may send Amity spiraling again. However, she already took care of that.
“M sowwy, Gots a bad gwade nd wegwessed. M sowwy..” Amity mumbled.
Lilith’s heart broke. That’s what got her so worked up? Just a bad grade? Her poor baby… this reaction was probably Odalias doing.
“Oh, sweetie… I’m not going to be mad at you for a bad grade.” She cupped her cheeks and wiped away any stray tears.
“Th-thankies, mama…” Amity snuggled up closer.
“You don’t need to thank me, dear. Now, let's get you changed before you have an accident, okay?” She picked up the small girl, who simply nodded.
Lilith got out the diaper bag and laid a mat down on one of the tables/two-person desks. She then put Amity down and gave her a teether to play with while she got out her nappy. The change was pretty quick and soon Amity felt very safe and secure with her diaper around her waist.
She colored a few pictures while sitting on Lilith’s lap. Her mama had to stay until the final bell rang and couldn’t bring Amity home early. So this was the best option. She hung out with her mama for the rest of the school day but as soon as they got home, Amity was fast asleep, passed out in her crib.
