Saw your episode list. I'm a bit disappointed you decided to take out the AU episodes since I really liked your take on combining the popular AUs of both series. But I understand why you took it out since it did feel like filler. I think my favorite was Reverse Diamond. I don't know if anyone else did this, but I like how you didn't just swap Yellow and Pink's roles. Pink was still leader of the Crystal Gems, Rose Quartz, and Yellow was still a tyrannical conquerer, which results in Steven being the same, which makes for an interesting AU. Though I'm curious how Greg conceived Steven. Did you have an idea for that? I still love your series and can't wait to see more of it.

The idea of the AU chapters were fun, yeah, but they kinda didn't work in a written format? Or at least they didn't work as an overall part of UF as a story. Of course, even thouguh they won't be in the story itself anymore doesn' mean they don't exist anymore. Some of them (especially Swap, my favorite of them all) are very near and dear to me and I do plan to still make side content for them eventually.

As for your question, I honestly don't remember. Greg is still his dad in that AU and I think I did once have an idea for what the deal with him was, but I'll be damned if I still know what it was lol

Shades of the Sea Chapter 18: Obsidian

Story Summary: After spending five years stuck in the World of the Ocean King, Link returns to the Great Sea, only to find it changed beyond recognition. His friends and family view him as a traitor, accusing him of causing chaos across the ocean. With his allies all turned against him and a curse threatening to take his life, he sets out to reconnect with the one person who may be able to clear his name: Tetra.

Meanwhile, something sinister is rising over the Great Sea--a shadow seeking to spill the hero's blood and revive its fallen master. And this time, Link may not be strong enough to stop it on his own.

Chapter Summary: A hero is forced to let his body be broken and his blood be stolen. Tetra’s ears ring so loudly she doesn’t even hear her own scream as it tears its way out of her throat, raw, ragged, and full of rage .  Her hand curls around the hilt of the Master Sword and suddenly she’s on her feet. She doesn’t hesitate, doesn’t even realize the barrier that once stood between her and Link is finally gone. Not that it even matters anymore. Nothing does, other than taking down both of the monsters who had stripped the lifeblood straight out of him. Who had killed him so soon after he was supposed to be saved.  Ganondorf pulls his gaze away from Link, turning to Tetra as she rushes for him with the Master Sword in hand. The shadow stops her well before she can even get close to his master. His foot slams hard into the center of her chest as he kicks her back, sending her all but flying into Gonzo and Senza’s arms. They hold her back, if only to keep her from blindly running headfirst into such grave danger all over again.  “...Princess Zelda,” Ganondorf finally speaks, narrowing his eyes at her. His voice is every bit as deep and bone-chilling as Tetra remembers it. “Still masquerading as nothing more than a lowly sea rat, I see. If you refuse to take up the mantle of your throne, then I am more than willing to claim it in your stead.”

Hey, first I wanna say I really love your Universe Falls fic. I was so obsessed when I read through the first version not too long ago. While I am bummed about the chapters you cut from the new version, I understand why you did it and I'm still enjoying the story and like a lot of the new stuff you added.

My favorite arc is probably Rifts/Memories/Dimensions. One thing I was wanted to ask was if you would make Greg have a bigger role in the new version since he tends to get more involved in gem stuff when he knows his son is in danger, and I think a situation like that would definitely make Greg want to do whatever he can to help.

Hello, I just want to hop in and say that I love this fic with all my heart. I grew up with both Steven Universe and Gravity Falls and reading your fic is like a dream come true for me ! You're writing is a huge inspiration to me as well (seriously my own fanfic has never seen as much progress as it does now).

P.S. : How do you pronounce Dipvebel ? Since they are a fusion of Dipper, Steven and Mabel, I've just been calling them Diesel (Pronounced Deezl, like the fuel)

As for Dipevebel, you pronounce it (Dip-eve-bell), which yeah kinda doesnt roll off the tounge the easiest at first but it gets easier to say the more you say it lol

I am curious for Three’s a crowd cover. Cause we have Stepper, Maven (for a brief moment) and Dipevebel all in one chapter… so, all our favorite fusion children together.

I doubt Maven will be on that cover but both Stepper and Dipevebel certainly will so I’ll have to bend some rules and more it something of a more…interpretive cover than a literal scene from the chapter lol

I am SO curious about Setting the Stage and Soap Opera covers. Like… they will probably be angsty.

So fun fact I've had the idea for Sock Opera's cover in mind for a VERY long time now like I have it envisioned down to even the tiniest of details. Getting to draw Set the Stage's cover (which I'm already brimming with ideas for) will be just a bonus.

And yes, both will be very angsty :3
