Can I take a sec to GUSH about the Animated Wings Mod by @sp-creates ✨ Seeing Edin with their accurate wing size and watching them flutter is everything for gameplay. The wings come in three different sizes, which is perfect because canonically, Edin is pretty small for a Guardian, so their wings aren't massive as they should be at their age.

But that doesn't stop them from trying 🥹. There's a ton of effects too and I believe if you have the Fairies VS Witches Mod, they can't fly right away, they have to develop their powers. *chef's kiss*

But with his cat-like reflexes, Purrcie managed to charm his way out of jail and into a job at one of the largest Vtuber companies. Rising in popularity, he not only paid off his bail but also became one of the company's most profitable stars! -inspired by the fairytale "Puss in Boots". ᓚ₍ ^. .^₎

fun fact: the Japanese word 'Tabi' is the traditional thronged sock worn with footwear like 'Zori' the sandal on his special event outfit. in this case it's also a play on words with the 'Tabby cat'. Like the name 'puss in boots' he is 'Purr in Socks' if you will LOL! ...there are many layers to this, like onions! aHAhaha~(￣y▽ ￣)╭

Most characters have canon origin stories! It's just Elle, L, Brandy, and Morgyn who don't. Caleb isn't wrong about how long it would take to get through it all, but I can make some space at the bottom of the post :)

Most of this comes from dialogue from Werewolves, which I put up here.

Celene & Lou: attacked by Greg while on a date after Lou provoked him - she took the cure, he thought he could ride it out.

Lily: fled into the tunnels when Vlad tried to turn her, where she was bitten by a rabid werewolf. Spent years wandering around feral before Kristopher found her.

Caleb: turned by Miss Hell in a bar bathroom with the door on backwards. It's unclear whether he asked to turn or not, but I'd say most likely not.

Jacob: got lost in the woods as a small child after being traumatically separated from his family. He was hunted by a werewolf and a vampire, and then rescued by Kristopher.

Wolfgang: visited Moonwood Mill to escape the rat race in San Myshuno, decided he liked the werewolf lifestyle, and asked Kristopher to turn him.

Inna: turned by Caleb in the official trailer. Based on promotional material and the paintings from vampires, she seems to have been a thrall for centuries before that, possibly as early as the 1600s.

Darrel: born a spellcaster. Because he has the strong bloodline trait, he must be at minimum a 3rd generation caster.

Emilia: recently ascended according to her household description, presumably by Morgyn, since they're the only sage she knows by default and they're both friends with Grace and Tomax.

Elle: born a vampire during the first half of the Century Conflict. Her parents were former spellcasters who were turned during Operation Eternal Flame.

Brandy: attacked and almost killed by a member of her girlfriend Samantha's coven of origin. Samantha turned her to save her life.

L: an orphaned street urchin. Was accidentally transported to the Magic Realm after pickpocketing a spellcaster and taking his Glimmerstone. She met Keisha and immediately started badgering her for power and secrets.

Morgyn: a teen runaway. They found instructions to get into the Magic Realm in a library book, thought the whole thing sounded extremely rad, made their way to Glimmerbrook, and immediately started badgering Tess for power and secrets.

I wanted a Century Conflict veteran, which is why I made Elle so old. Brandy possibly has a mundane brother, so I didn't want her to have been born vampire. I love foundlings in stories (yes, I'm a big Mandalorian fan, fuck off) so yeah Morgyn and L are foundlings.

Always Keep Simming - Romantic Night Fail & Epic Parties in Space

What had started out as a romantic evening out in the Blackburn’s backyard, followed by a workout session for Colin, turned into Colin’s nightmare. Strange lights appeared at the edge of their property and before Colin could intervene, Aileen had already stepped into the light and was abducted into space. The Aliens loved to interfere with the Watcher‘s plans for their sims and after being mischievous and pranking poor tourists, Karma striked Aileen. Even the Watcher was helpless and quite literally had to watch the abduction with Colin (with a similar facial expression). Hours passed. The kids were sleeping, Colin was up with the cats and waiting nervously. He knew scientists had a higher risk of being abducted but this hadn’t occurred in decades. The cats were nervous too and very clingy.

Aileen came back home at 3 a.m. She was completely untroubled! In fact, she told Colin about the epic intergalactic party she had attended in space. Thankfully, none of the Aliens had tried to impregnate her… 🫣 Colin was happy she was back and embraced her tightly. He was glad she’d had fun of course but in his research on the occults, he had read about shady business dealings in space, especially in a place called Batuu… (Yes, Aileen had taken part in those dealings herself when she’d been to Batuu and had even made some “friends��� such as Kylo Ren..). Aileen would have to be a little more careful not to become a test subject herself. Next day at work, she immediately prevented abductions.

На новом месте Ширли не растерялась: сменила одежду и пошла покорять сердца соседей. Правда, было довольно пустынно вокруг и ей удалось познакомиться лишь с одной своей соседкой - Лиззи. Знакомство было, мягко скажем, не очень. Ну ничего, в следующий раз повезет! Нужную информацию она все же узнала, чтобы открыть дверь нужен опытный механик - таких знакомых в Вудлэнде у нее точно нет, так что придется вертеться самой.

В борьбе с деревом победило дерево.

Ширли нашла для себя необычный способ заработка на свои скульптуры и мебель из дерева: она стала искать мелочь по своим карманам, как только услышала звон монет, когда планировала постирать старую одежду… Ее будто осенило в тот момент! Она часто забывала деньги в различных предметах одежды. Так что ее забывчивость стала ее спасением.

p.s да, немного читерный способ добычи денег, но загрузившись в игру с бюджетом 0 симолеонов и ограничением в продаже всего - всего, я поняла, что совсем не знаю, а как мне зарабатывать - то на навык механики? Попробовала пение - ноль реакции у окружающих, может оно только на общественных местах работает? А про другие способы я не знаю, может есть предложения в комментах, как следовало бы отыграть? Я уже наиграла сим - неделю, но все равно было бы интересно почитать

After leaving home for the first time, you find yourself living in a small home in StrangerVille. You're not there very long before you start to notice things are particularly strange and the locals are even stranger. At your job at the local lab, you overhear colleagues talking about the town's mystery and the 'other' lab that stands across town. You get sucked into the conspiracy and are determined to figure it all out. On top of that, you're pretty sure you've made contact with aliens. What could possibly go wrong?

Martin, or Marty as his friends would call him (if he had any), grew up in a very normal family. It's as if his relatives were all trying to make up for the fact that their family name was Odd, literally. But Marty was different - he has always craved something more, something out of this world. From a young age he looked to the stars for a sense of adventure, gazing up at the cosmos from the roof-top of his beautiful but boring childhood home in Brindleton Bay. As soon as he was able to move out of his parent's house, he packed up his belongings and took the first plane to StrangerVille, hoping to get a job as a lab tech at one of the many innovative facilities in the area. So far he's been really enjoying his new life in the desert. The days are hot and the trailer he calls home is tiny, but every night he's able to view the planet Sixam through his telescope, completely unencumbered by the rain clouds he was so used to seeing before.

Marty's full name is Martin Stanley Odd. He loves pop punk, fish tacos, sci-fi, and orange juice. He's bisexual with a romantic preference for aliens women. An introvert with zero social skills, he hopes to one day have his very own man-cave/basement where he can be truly alone with no one to bother him while he reads his sci-fi alien smut books.
