Noble Vampires: Elle DeVampiro, Inna Cents, Vlad Bloodvein

(These are all clearly corny vampiric pseudonyms, aren't they?)

As you can see, I strayed pretty far from their original designs, especially with Elle and Vlad! As they fit into the context of my story, I see them as among the oldest and most elite vampires in Forgotten Hollow. They're all nobles from different eras and so were used to being waited on hand and foot, which didn't change when they became vampires. They've always been surrounded by a coterie of human thralls and lesser vampires who fulfill their every need so they never have to lift a finger.

But there are certain consequences to this eternal life of luxury. As vampires grow older, their powers can grow more potent - but the opposite is also true. If they allow their mental and physical capabilities to languish, they stagnate and eventually atrophy, leading to visible deterioration. These three are extremely delusional and out of touch with reality. They live in their own little fantasies, fully believing they look every bit as flawless and regal as they ever did even as the cracks are very much starting to show. Although their age and status intimidate younger vampires and they have their little "hazing rituals" for newborns, they're ultimately quite harmless.

Inna Cents - townie makeover

Inna Cent appears in trailers and promos for  The Sims 4: Vampires and could be load from Maxis gallery. I was pretty upset she was not an official townie of  Forgotten Hollow, cause there is smth interesting in her backstory and relationship with a sassy vampire Caleb. Anyway I can imagine my own LORe for her.

Occult sims are most fun to makeover because you can play with fashion and choose for them the most unusual and non-realistic fits. For Inna I choose some looks inspired by Biedermeier\Victorian period, because she probably was turn in to vampire at second half of 19th century. And her prototype surely was Lucy Westenra (from 'Dracula' 1992). But I add to her kinn list two fictional ladies who's also like yellow and historical dresses - Edith Cushing (Crimson Peak) and Belle (Beauty and the Beast) which suits more to her shinny and gentle personality and fashion choices. Roses and butterflies as symbols of her innocent soul

I'm trying not to change face features and keep the original EA genetics. But I changed Inna's skin and make her more pale. Because for me she is not alive anymore and can't be that peachy pink, because her blood system doesn't work. And I hope this doesn't look like 'white washing'

Inna Cents is doing a scheduled appearance in Ciudad Enamorada at the Mirador del Amor nightclub. It's basically to hype her guest appearance on the show "The Young and the Restless Undead" - a vampire soap opera. She invited Naya Grant to meet her at the club to conduct their next interview.

As Inna signs an autograph for an adoring fan, she thinks over the fact that the woman who is writing an article on her so happens to be the sister-in-law of Caleb Vatore. She hadn't planned or asked for the situation. The Fashion Magazine La Bella - who Naya works for- had reached out to her agent, who then pestered Inna into giving the interviews.

But the circumstances had provided her with an interesting opportunity.

Mrs. Grant arrives on time, after flying from Sulani to Ciudad Enamorada.

"How long did it take the paparazzi to figure out they can't take pictures of you the same way they do other celebrities?" Naya asks Inna after they sit down together.

Inna briefly pauses in thought. "About a month." She replies, her lips curving into an amused smirk at her memories of the Pap getting angry because their prized photos weren't turning out. "Did your brother-in-law tell you about this?"

Naya shakes her head slightly. "My sister-in-law actually. They had a engagement photoshoot done and they had to hire a photographer who knew what they were doing so it didn't look like Vera was posing with herself." 

Inna nods her head, a small lump forming in her throat for some unknown reason.

Naya doesn't notice the change in Miss Cent's mood and launches into her questions after turning on her tape recorder. Granted it will be a bit harder to get everything clear in the nightclub setting but she'll have to do her best. This is the time she was given to do this month's interview.

"So, Kumikya's store in Del Sol Valley or their website?" Inna asks after the interview winds down. It didn't escape her that they both wore the same skirt, just different colors.

Naya laughs slightly "Online."

Inna smiles slightly, careful not to show her fangs. She feels a little guilt, Naya Grant seems like a sweet woman and she likes her tastes in fashion.  She's connected to Caleb though and there's a part of Inna that isn't pleased that Caleb is happy.

RAVENWOOD: ENTRY 11

I met Freddy, another of Alice's children! As Alice intuited, he was in the playground in Crow's Crossing. I learned more about the nature of ghosts tonight and I learned what little Freddy could tell me about his own life — not much.

As Alice felt would be the case, Freddy has forgotten his Sim nature. When this happens, a ghost no longer takes the form they did in life and they become smaller and gloopier, less Sim shaped. I've seen ghosts like this before — so too I think has Morgyn — but I did not understand why they no longer looked much like they would have in life. Now, I do. They don't remember how to.

It took weeks for me to realise, once Caleb had turned me and I started holding onto all my new memories and better understanding my situation, that the portraits of a human woman with flowers in her hair and a dreamy look in her eyes, the ones hanging on the walls in Straud Manor, and on display on the walls of Elle and Dillin and Bloodvein, were of me. I didn't remember what I looked like.

Me and Caleb and Lilith were getting done up to go out hunting. Caleb was not thrilled about the plans for the night, though I was so newly turned that I didn't feel the same preemptive guilt he did. While he would have rathered that we didn't hunt Sims for their blood at all, he decided that I'd better be taught how to do it carefully anyway. He couldn't ensure what I might do when he wasn't around, and back then we both still drank socially sometimes, as much as he felt awful afterwards. He could teach me some things. Better to hypnotise a Sim and drink with caution than to go straight to drinking and get caught, and better to drink with caution than drain them of so much blood that Grim would come calling.

I hadn't gotten the hang of doing my makeup without being able to see in the mirror yet so Lilith helped me. She'd just gotten a polaroid camera, which she was very excited about, and offered to take a photo of me so I could see how I looked. I looked like the woman hanging on the walls in Straud Manor, and on display on the walls of Elle and Dillin and Bloodvein.

Elle no longer has those old paintings of me in her rooms. She said that if she had ever been human, she wouldn't want reminders around of how pathetic she had been either. She misunderstood what bothered me about the paintings but I didn't correct her. I was just glad to see her take them down. It was not that I hated seeing myself, it was that some of the other vampires liked seeing my human self so much. Bloodvein liked her better than me. I didn't like to see them look over my shoulder at this version of me who hadn't been able to look back, not comprehendingly, not really.

But I don't have to see them do anything right now. I am in Ravenwood and they are not.

Freddy has some very hazy memories of his human life. He remembers that Alice is his mother and that she loved him unconditionally, but not what she looks like. He remembers his sister Edith, and that they used to best friends, but does not remember that she is his sister. I know from Alice that she is, so I told him, and he rolled through the air in wonder, and now he knows too.

I hope he can speak with his mother and sister himself one day. He might not remember them much but perhaps I am helping to get them unstuck from their places. Perhaps they can make new memories with each other, even if it can't be the same as it was.
