Hi!!! I was just curious, is Juniper based on one of your farmers in game? Also, can we know some more about her? I think she's so cute and I'm a sucker for grumpy/sunshine with my boy Shane!!

YESS Juniper is my current farmer!! Here's her in-game vs in the sims!

I think her story is something a lot of people can relate to - twenty-something wasting her life away in a corporate hellscape with no friends and no dreams. She was very much a salarywoman stuck in a constant routine and honestly felt like she was wasn't really living. when she left the corporate life behind for the farm, she took it as an opportunity to finally start living and do all the things she didn't/couldn't before. She forced her introverted self to break out of her shell and swore to make friends with EVERYONE she met.

The first friend she ever made was Shane. It started out as a sort of kinship, like she immediately saw herself in him and wanted to bring him out of his shell too. First they were drinking buddies, then real friends, and then... something more? Kind of. Shane definitely started having feelings for her first. The song I linked in This post describes it better than I could.

Their story is a little bittersweet to me honestly because I didn't intend to romance Shane, it was just naturally going in that direction for a while and I did consider having my farmer pursue him BUUUUT... Realistically, I don't think they're endgame. Maybe it's the wrong place and wrong time for them, maybe if things were different they could have been together, or maybe Shane just loved the idea of being loved by someone. He felt seen by her. He felt like could actually get his life together, maybe work toward deserving someone like her. He has too much to work on though, and Juniper can't and doesn't want to be the one to fix him like he thinks she can. She did have feelings for him too, but they knew it wouldn't work. So they're best friends and their bond is strong but... it's hard not to think of the "what-ifs."

Right now, Juniper is actually getting closer with Elliott!! So we shall see if they end up together or if she really will be with Shane! IDK THERE'S TOO MUCH DRAMA AND TENSION IM CREATING AND IT'S STARDEW VALLEY OF ALL THINGS AWVDWGYTUV

I wanna get back to posting more, but I'm a little busy and unmotivated and I feel so like the longer I don't post, the more unmotivated I get and then I get worried that I'll disappoint people when I finally do come back and they won't be interested or think I've gotten worse or whatever. I shouldn't worry about that, I don't post for other ppl really - it's all for fun at the end of the day but. Yeah. Worrying for no reason I guess
