Does it ever drive you crazy, just how fast the night changes...

Alongside addressing general wolf-lore, my next "Deep Dive" post will have an entire section on Jacob Volkov, Lou Howell, Rory Oaklow, and Celene López due to the significant role they play in my personal story and lore around Moonwood Mill. The lore I have for them spans a pretty decent chunk of time, ranging roughly from the time Jacob is 13 - younger than we see here - up until they're all in their 40s (which is where I always start my werewolf save), and there's no better way for me to illustrate that than a visual aid!

Note: The top row is Jacob Volkov, second row is Lou Howell, the third row is Rory Oaklow, and the fourth row is Celene López. The first column depicts each of them as teens (a flashback for the older three, but where Jacob is when you start the game), second column they are young adults (a flash into the future for Jacob, but where the game picks up for Lou/Rory/Celene), and the third and final column depicts them as "older" adults.

I've included full body shots of their outfits below the cut for those who are curious. <3

Last Song: The Chordettes - Mr Sandman (музыку слушаю редко, я больше визуал, точнее визуало-кинестетик - сначала рассмотреть как следует, а потом еще потрогать надо хдд. Но мелодия сэндмена в голове застряла на днях и не отпускала, пока я ее наконец-то не послушала. И вот теперь она опять у меня в голове 🤪)

Favorite Color: смотря на чем)) последнее время люблю приглушенно-припыленную палитру в естественных тонах, как ниже, но определенного любимого оттенка нет.

Last Movie: мульт "Хранители снов" (пересматривала, оч люблю, смотрю практически каждый год в январе), а сейчас в процессе просмотра второго сезона "Игра в кальмара".

Last Book: фанфики считаются? хдд "Shattered Pieces" by ashestocrows (потому что естественно после мульта я пошла читать фанфики по Кромешник (ака Питч Блэк, я в оригинале смотрю)/Джек Фрост (и ничего мне не говорите про разницу в возрасте - Фросту за 300 лет!)

А вообще, я столько перечитала литературы в юности, что последние лет десять, наверное, пресытилась, и мало что цепляет. Если говорить прям о книжке, которая официально публиковалась, то "Гойда" Джека Гельба (псевдоним, на самом деле автор - молодая девушка), псевдоисторический роман о Федоре Басманове и его жизни при дворе и отношениях с Иваном Грозным.

Хотя изначально книжку заказала больше из-за обложки от Кориандр, с первых глав очень понравился слог автора и сама история зацепила, в итоге я бросила бумажную, отцензуренную версию уже где-то на 1/5 части книги и нашла изначальный вариант, который автор выкладывала когда-то на фикбуке (сейчас он естественно удален, поэтому пришлось хорошенько порыскать в интернете). И вот, получается, что по сути, это тоже фанфик😅😅😅))) Что я считаю плюсом, ага. А "книжки", пожалуй, как раз и не читаю последнее время из-за беспощадной цензуры, потому что весь смак вырезан.

Sweet, Spicy or Savory: острое и кисло-сладкое (люблю азиатскую кухню), но и от сладенького не отказываюсь)))

Last Thing I Googled: внезапно, Марди Гра 2024 (сама не знаю зачем, увидела в Игре в Кальмара и, наверное, хотела вспомнить что это за действо такое)

Current Obsession: новые сюжеты для двух геймплейных историй, хотя нет трех, или даже четырех 🤨 (короче, я как обычно в своих фантазиях, которые, надеюсь, вскоре выльются в блог, а то одна история вообще аж с прошлого нг терзает, а другой сюжет, в общем-то, даже отснят почти полностью (пришлось заранее из-за ограничения по времени события с подарками Смерти), но перед ним должны быть типа события до, которые пока не могу отскринить из-за беспорядка в СС...)

Больше ничего не расскажу пока что, но все скрины, которые я вставила в пост - это спойлеры, (а то давно ничего не постила, стыдно даже 😁 нет) и на них есть парочка новых персонажей, которых я никогда еще не показывала (почти), но очень-очень хочу показать в скором будущем🤞.

Looking Forward To: когда наконец-то доразберу свои завалы СС... Занимаюсь этим уже больше месяца, из-за чего не могу ни играть, ни новые истории скринить, только notion заметками засоряю(((

Just a little interlude before judgment!

In case you haven't seen it, I've been posting little interviews with the cast. Please feel free to send me questions, anonymously or not! I'll put them up in batches between posts.

Most characters have canon origin stories! It's just Elle, L, Brandy, and Morgyn who don't. Caleb isn't wrong about how long it would take to get through it all, but I can make some space at the bottom of the post :)

Most of this comes from dialogue from Werewolves, which I put up here.

Celene & Lou: attacked by Greg while on a date after Lou provoked him - she took the cure, he thought he could ride it out.

Lily: fled into the tunnels when Vlad tried to turn her, where she was bitten by a rabid werewolf. Spent years wandering around feral before Kristopher found her.

Caleb: turned by Miss Hell in a bar bathroom with the door on backwards. It's unclear whether he asked to turn or not, but I'd say most likely not.

Jacob: got lost in the woods as a small child after being traumatically separated from his family. He was hunted by a werewolf and a vampire, and then rescued by Kristopher.

Wolfgang: visited Moonwood Mill to escape the rat race in San Myshuno, decided he liked the werewolf lifestyle, and asked Kristopher to turn him.

Inna: turned by Caleb in the official trailer. Based on promotional material and the paintings from vampires, she seems to have been a thrall for centuries before that, possibly as early as the 1600s.

Darrel: born a spellcaster. Because he has the strong bloodline trait, he must be at minimum a 3rd generation caster.

Emilia: recently ascended according to her household description, presumably by Morgyn, since they're the only sage she knows by default and they're both friends with Grace and Tomax.

Elle: born a vampire during the first half of the Century Conflict. Her parents were former spellcasters who were turned during Operation Eternal Flame.

Brandy: attacked and almost killed by a member of her girlfriend Samantha's coven of origin. Samantha turned her to save her life.

L: an orphaned street urchin. Was accidentally transported to the Magic Realm after pickpocketing a spellcaster and taking his Glimmerstone. She met Keisha and immediately started badgering her for power and secrets.

Morgyn: a teen runaway. They found instructions to get into the Magic Realm in a library book, thought the whole thing sounded extremely rad, made their way to Glimmerbrook, and immediately started badgering Tess for power and secrets.

I wanted a Century Conflict veteran, which is why I made Elle so old. Brandy possibly has a mundane brother, so I didn't want her to have been born vampire. I love foundlings in stories (yes, I'm a big Mandalorian fan, fuck off) so yeah Morgyn and L are foundlings.
