🍰Happy birthday dear little Felony!!!!! Our little tiny dancer definitely is living up to her name as this one has “sticky” fingers (😉if you know what I mean). As a tiny tot little Felony would rewatch Abigail with her mom Liesbet and it sparked an interest in ballet. So on her birthday she begged her moms to enroll her in a ballet class, the two women shared a look and thought what could possibly go wrong. Now Felony twirls and swipes to her heart’s content. 💕🧸

I forgot to post this eons ago, I'm sorry. Please don't expect super regular updates! I play when I want and can.

I have no fancy header to put on my Shadowmoon legacy—whoopsie—but anyway! Erika had an uneventful first week living in San Sequoia (10 days). However, she did make two friends: Kiyoshi Ito and Molly Prescott.

But things might be getting complicated...

That Sunday, Erika was woken up by the sound of someone getting through the front door.

A strange man had somehow gotten into the house with a strange aura about him. He snuck around the house, almost looking for something--or perhaps someone.

Erika tiptoed down the stairs while he was looking through the home office. She hid in front of the couch and waited for the perfect moment to confront him. Once he left the office and went to go up the stairs, Erika left her hiding space, primed to call the police.

But Lady Luck was not on her side.

He spun around and said something incomprehensible to the teen. Before Erika could get a word out or call out to her parents, she fell asleep on the floor.

Her parents woke up that morning, surprised by the sight of their daughter on the floor--unharmed.

In fact, nothing was harmed or missing. So, she wrote it off as sleepwalking--a habit she had since she was a little girl. The man must've just been a figment of her imagination, right?

She went on a field trip that Monday, wherein she encountered a particularly strange but popular girl named Selena. Selena Stoker.

Erika couldn't help but think to herself, "Why does Selena look so familiar?"

Tuesday was Halloween but literally nothing of note happened with that.

The strange guy entering the house was not intended but I ended up figuring out a way to work him into the storyline. And yes, he's a vampire I created. It probably had to do with the abilities I gave him and autonomy with households not in "my households."

I will probably need to make a master list of CC I use once things get bigger lol... I will make CC lists for the individual sim profiles, though! Expect a mod list sometime this month, too.

niko labekiovsky, my beloved vampire mortician, and my founder, miranda olson (not yet married...quite honestly forgot.) so far, they have had three out of four children ! westley, elena, and miss violetta (not pictured because these are slightly old pics haha).

i'm having so much fun with this challenge ! it's usually pretty hard for me to keep going with this kind of stuff, but i'm excited every time i open this save :')

also, the kitties, of course--the black cat is jinx and the hairless kitty is her mate, sprig (like a sprig of rosemary, haha).

i'm going to try this whole posting on tumblr thing more often <3

Shadowmoon Legacy Part 6: The Letter

Gonna be trying out some different stuff in the writing portions of this one.

It's been a couple weeks now and Charlotte has gotten comfortable with her new life in Forgotten Hollow. One morning a mysterious package was left in her mailbox.

Greetings, It has come to our attention that the residency at Windowshild Townhome is once again home to a resident of Forgotten Hollow. As this is the case we will resume delivery of our best curated items suitable to life in our community. The package that came with the letter was just as confusing. In it were two simple... bags of juice?

Looking them over Charlotte was hesitant to try them. Unlabeled except for a purple staff on one and a stylized frog on the other. Not quite sure what to do with them she sends a message to Jeremy over Social Bunny.

Charlotte: hey, I got a strange package today Jeremy: Oh? Anything interesting? Charlotte: sends a picture of packs Charlotte: any idea what they are? Jeremy: Odd... I don't think I've seen anything like that. Would love to look them over though. Charlotte: meet at magnolia? Jeremy: Sure, meet you there.

Meeting up at the part Charlotte shows Jeremy the letter she got and the odd juice packs that were in the mail.

"Grand Coven of Forgotten Hollow?" asks Jeremy.

Shrugging her shoulders. "I haven't heard of them, maybe it's Forgotten Hollow's NAP group?" She turns over one of the packs. "Either way, sending juice packs in the mail?"

Looking over the other one Jeremy laughs. "It wouldn't be the weirdest NAP put into place, I heard in Evergreen Harbor they voted to wear bags on their heads all the time."

"Fair enough. So... think you could figure out what this is?"

He pockets one of the packs while standing up. "Easy, I've got a friend at FutureSim that can check it out. It's probably just some out-of-season Spooky Day prank. What with how Forgotten Hollow looks I wouldn't be surprised."

"Maybe, though writing a whole letter to go with it is a bit more effort than the usual prank day trick."

The two spend a bit more time chatting in the park before going their separate ways for now, each with one of the odd packs to take home. On the way Charlotte considered just opening it, turning it over and over as she walked up the steps to her home. Not coming up with any clear decision she stashed it in the corner of her fridge and went about her other business.

Sometime in the early evening, she heard a knock on the door. She went to see who was at the door only to find no one there. Confused she looked around only to kick a new package off the steps.

She was confused at the second odd package to end up at her door. This time an old-looking book with a note attached to it.

Charlotte brought the book inside and began to look it over. It quickly became clear that this was exactly what she was looking for...

Encyclopedia Vampirica Volume 1

This is a much longer post than the ones before, I wanted to try out having more dialogue and whatnot to better characterize everyone. What can I say, it's hard for me to write any kind of story without dialogue lol.

Had a good time mixing in some of my own made-up lore with the various lore and tidbits already in the game. I could make this a super grounded story but I like having the silly sims touches be cannon in the story (looking at you, We Wear Bags NAP).

AMAZON CHALLENGE

Chapter 7:

Artemis- I found her. Alma Curse, the priestess now attends my Court. However, it came at a small price, his daughter Magdalene joined us too, but at my sister's Court. I hope you are a good warrior. Another very exciting news is that Mister Bones Shadowmoon, my cat will have kittens with Seleana, another addition that came with Curse. Now, my heiress will grow up with my cat's children. Isn't that exciting?

Isis- Magdalene Curse is the most useless person I've ever seen. What hate! If it weren't for Artemis and her stupid surpertitions. On the other hand, Nyx has shown herself to be an excellent guard and excellent archer. It'll be great for defending ourselves while I'm incapacitated… I mean, pregnant. When my heir is born, I will instruct Nyx to reproduce. I want strong warriors like her to protect my princess.

Nyx- Today is my first day as Captain of the Guard. After Kareena's defection, I think I'm doing well. I escorted the Queens to Mount Komorebi to see the priestess. There, I also provided a worker that the Matriarch requested. I will also be responsible for instructing Madalena, Alma's useless daughter. My instincts might make me question whether Ophelia can be trusted, after all, she is the defector's mother. But, I think that answer, only time will tell…

Ophelia- Alma Curse. I recognize that name. But it can't be, can it? If I recognize her, she will definitely recognize me. This can not happen. I need to act. Poison seems like a good option. So I guess this is goodbye. I always wondered why I spent time writing in this journal. Since I don't even know if anyone will read this diary, I cursed it with my own blood. But now I recognize the value of these notes. The legacy I will leave. We will ascend!

Behold - baby Vatores.

Also, I know a lot of people tend to write the Vatores as having been born in a more Victorian time, but since so many of the other vampires (as we will see) were born or Turned at that time, I figured I'd distinguish these two by having them be substantially younger. I don't typically assign explicit eras to my Sims characters to maintain timelessness, but I imagine Lily was born in the 60s and the Vatores in the 70s.

Cain and Felony have been attached to the hip as they try to get used to Grant no longer being around. Cain takes Felony to the park, because she honestly needs friends her age as well. He’s been neglecting his thirst and his sister can tell. Worriedly she looks at her older brother, his eyes sunken in and skin more pasty than usual. Felony pulls on Cain’s sleeve and offers her blood to him.

Shocked and somewhat touched Cain declines and tells Felony to go play with some of the children, to not fret. Felony’s grief finally bubbles over and she sobs, reluctantly she goes to play with the other children. She looks back and no longer has to worry, she sees her brother set sights on a parent not paying attention to their child and she knows he’ll be alright.

There's almost no legacy content that manages to tap into what made Shadowmoon so good
