Oh man it’s been so tough to try not to order out! I’ve been doing protein shakes to readjust my appetite and to lower caloric intake but I still get so hungry during this readjustment phase. So, I did the best thing I could do which was to delete Door Dash and Uber Eats remove the junk food access. I can still eat out but now it is a more conscious decision by having to call the location and place in a proper order.

Iron is of great importance for the functioning of the body, it is therefore important that the body is well supplied with iron.

A normal iron level in the body is important in sports and training.
When you start exercising, or exercise more than usual, the body can form up to half a liter of extra blood.
Since we know that iron is an important part of our blood, the need for this iron increases the mineral.
The amount of blood increases because the body needs both more fluid and more red blood cells to carry oxygen around the body.
If you are in a deficit of iron, this can often show as fatigue, lack of excess, paleness as well as weariness at both physical and mental stresses.
In this regard, an iron supplement can make a big difference in terms of mood, energy and excess.
Iron contributes to reducing fatigue and exhaustion, to the normal functioning of the immune system and to a normal energy metabolism.

posts, remember that the physical size of your food isn’t the only thing that keeps you full and is NOT what keeps your body fueled.
.
i do eat a lot of celery bc i enjoy it and let’s be honest, it’s nice to feel like you’re eating a “safe food” but it’s also SUPER important to make sure you’re getting enough nutrients and proteins to
1) keep your body working
2) keep you satiated
.
for example:
a deficit in potassium and/or sodium can cause muscle cramps and affect your cells ion channel efficiency.
deficit in iron can cause extreme fatigue
if you’re not getting enough protein, your metabolism will slow significantly
iodine is an essential nutrient for thyroid function and is a more common deficiency than you might think.
vitamin b12, calcium, and magnesium are also common deficiencies and are necessary to structural and enzymatic processes in your body.
multivitamins are important, especially if you aren’t ingesting a caloric amount to maintain weight. but your body does a much better job of absorbing and using nutrients if they come packed in food form than in pills.
.
if you’re anything like me, this information might go in one ear and out the other and you’ll go back to whatever habits you’ve already formed. but PLEASE at least try to eat one nutrient dense food every day, even if it packs more calories than you’d prefer.
.
make the calories count and use them to get in essential vitamins, minerals, and nutrients that will make you not only feel more energized and healthy, but will save you from a hell of a lot of problems and even malnourishment or death.

Did a lot of thinking this morning...and I think I'm going to use the rest of this month to go back to basics. My original dream that brought me to where I am today was to create a wellness center. Everytime I learned something new, I neglected the old interest I had. So I am going to start over and learn to incorporate yoga, nutrition, herbalism and general wellness into my everyday life.
Recently, I had been having trouble believing in myself and my interests. I think this imposter syndrome sprouts from my neglect of everything I know. Each expertise I have acquired, I once believed could heal everyone, but somehow I lost that full belief. Even though I have seen it multiple times, I feel like I lost my healing spirit. So when lost, just start back the beginning.
Would it be crazy to create a wellness challenge? Lol
