Welcome

Hello world! My name is Matt Georgianna and I currently reside in North Potomac, MD. I got married in October of 2018 and before the wedding, as most people do, I wanted to get in shape so I could look my best. At the current time, I weighed 190 lbs and was not happy with where I was. I went on a strict diet and lost 20 lbs! Lots of diet and exercise. After the wedding, I still went to the gym and maintained a healthy diet, but why? lol I was only maintaining where I was and really didn’t have a reason to keep working out. So i thought to myself, if I’m going to keep working out then I might as well go to the extreme. That was when I got the idea to enter into a physique competition. Thus my journey began... 

I wanted to start this blog to help encourage people to start a healthy lifestyle. Whether you want to get in shape to lose weight and feel good or if it pertains to health issues that require you to start a healthy lifestyle, its always nice to know what you are not alone. The journey is never an easy one, but with guidance and help, anyone can attain their health and wellness goals and I want to help anyone that is feeling motivated enough to do it. 

Word to the wise, I am not a certified nutritionist or trainer, I’m just an average guy that wanted to get in shape and show myself that I could do it and do it well. If anyone has any questions or comments, feel free to reach out to me through the blog and we can certainly help motivate each other. I’m always looking for other active, health conscious individuals to share the ride.
