This is why when I'm trying to learn something from a Youtube video and I'm not getting it I find another video on the same subject and try that one. And if that one doesn't work either then I find another one.

It took me seven "left-handed cast on" videos to learn to cast onto a knitting needle but the seventh worked and now I can cast on.

I’d like to think that even though Megatron gave Ratchet back he still bullies him occasionally (as if he didn’t do that for over a decade). It is a bit more dangerous now that he got a new guard dog, who’s determined to make up how he was never there for Ratchet whenever he was fighting Megatron

lmao there is a place in Edinburgh I call the Evil Bins bc it's the back of a student housing building (I think) but they've got their bins out on the pavement and a camera trained on them and on the wall behind the bins they keep taping up pictures of people who leave stuff in the bins with captions like "FLYTIPPED NOVEMBER 2024"

I think this is extremely gross and weird behaviour because Jesus Christ if you're that bothered by people putting stuff in your bins then don't leave your bins on the pavement. get a goddamn binshed and grow up. surveillance culture fucks me off so bad.

so I wrote something to that effect on their signage and took down the nearest few photos and shoved them into the locked bins.

Ah no, I'm in the 1st Draft Phase where I'm testing prints. Unfortunately at this scale, printing a Volume/Season of SL is like $60? So I have to be budget conscious and Right After the Holiday Season (November is also my parents birthdays, so it's a lot of gift buying back to back to back), my wallet is in recovery. And then there's still the, uh, legal. Issue.

WIP since November 2024, and in the meantime I have posted/finished 7 X-Files and Justified fics. Whoops. I'm going to finish it, I swear. WIP I'm scared of: it only takes two lonely people, ST: TOS, technically Kirk/Spock but really just Gaila-centric and I love my version of her WIP that's been haunting me: go to the country, build you a home, Justified, Loretta POV spanning four years or so

I certainly enjoy rereading all of these, but when it comes to writing, somehow something new always feels more exciting.

Based on some rumblings I heard, I ended up quickly throwing together a fun little WIP bingo sheet! I'll admit I largely wrote the prompts for writing, but I think a good number of them should also apply to art!

Ultimately, the goal is to have fun, and finish whatever WIPs you can (without burning yourself out or having a bad time). If you needed a sign to pick up that project you've been putting off, the time is now!
