actually i dont think chara undertale is 12 i think theyre 13. This has been set in stone in my mind because i was 13 when i played undertale. Also kris is 15 in my mind because i was 15 when deltarune chapter 1 came out. Also I thought Frisk was 10 for some reason which is not based in anything about my life at all and I don't feel strongly about it due to that fact that was just the number that was less than 13 that I came up with when I was 13

Psych (TV) and Same-Sex Marriage in California

While rewatching Psych, I have been thinking about what audiences today versus audiences at the time would have thought about the references to the issue of same-sex marriage, and what it says about voting this November.

(This post contains some spoilers for Psych Seasons 3 and 6.)

A lot happened in California related to same-sex marriage while Psych was airing. In 2004 (two years before the show began), same-sex marriage was briefly legal for one month, though the licenses issued were later voided. It became legal again in June 2008 for a little over four months until Proposition 8 was passed that November, which modified the California Constitution to make the definition of marriage be between a man and a woman. This time, marriage licenses issued in 2008 remained valid.

Psych Season 3 started airing in July 2008. So all of this would have been on people's minds during 3x11 "Lassie Did a Bad, Bad Thing" when Drimmer sets Shawn and Lassiter up to be "former lovers" in their murder-suicide note.

Prop 8 was ruled unconstitutional in August 2010, though this ruling was not final until 2013, when same-sex marriages were again permitted.

6x3 "This Episode Sucks" is when we learn that Lassiter's mom Mona has been with her girlfriend Althea since Lassiter left for the academy, and he keeps a framed photo of them in his apartment:

This episode aired in October 2011. Mona and Althea's right to marry would have very much been in limbo while the appeals worked their way through the courts.

The final episode of Season 6, 6x16 "Santabarbaratown," contains this scene, where our waitress identifies herself as an ally:

That episode aired in April 2012. Prop 8 was still very much on people's minds.

The final season of Psych (Season 8) finished airing in January of 2014, shortly after same-sex couples were again allowed to marry in California.

In 2015, same-sex marriage was finally legalized US-wide, overriding state constitutions on the subject. (If Obergefell v. Hodges were overturned, state constitutions would again take precedence.)

However, the California Constitution still technically defines marriage as being between one man and one woman, thanks to Prop 8. This year (2024), there is a vote on the ballot to finally remove that language from the California Constitution.

So, the issues LGBTQ+ Californians (and the Psych characters) faced while Psych was airing are still very much relevant when you cast your vote this November.

Remember how I was asking yesterday what this meant?

Why announcement from USA when the clip was literally filmed in Jeju?

I really don't think they expected us to think it was filmed in the USA. They know how diligent Army are. They know exactly what Army are up to, how they find out every single little clue left to them, and even without clues left they find out these things. Clothes items they wear, furniture in their homes and dorms, places they ate or visited etc. They know Army are on it and will KNOW exactly where the clip was shot.

So, why from USA then?

Well, if you look at the announcement and when it was released, being released from USA, that would mean it released on 15 July 2024 (it was already 16 July 2024 in SK and for me as well, hence the release date on my YT).

And why would that be important? Why would it matter if it was released on 15 July and not 16 July?

Asked myself the exact same thing.

Well...

Let's backtrack a little.

But what does that have to do with anything?

Let's start digging.

For all these numbers to align on a day that this surprise announcement comes out? An announcement that wasn't on the schedule and that if seen as one from the USA was released on 15 July 2024, a day that when counting days:

From JM's birthday gives us JK's birth date.

From JK's birthday gives us JM's birth date.

From 8-11-15 (what we think is their anniversary) gives us 888.

Please try to explain to me how this is a coincidence.

And lest us remember that we are all in awe of JM being as good as he is with math (his specific placement in the military) and his love for day counting.

This, my friends, does not look like a coincidence to me.

Part of my Camp Cretaceous season 4 and 5 AU. Here Darius and Brooklyn find a photo on the yacht, showing Mitch, Tiff, Daniel, and Mila. It was dated for one month before the campers went to Isla Nublar, and that Mr. Kon was in touch with the poachers for an unknown job. The two also soon discover that Mila is Kenji's mother who he claimed died a few years ago. But what is the truth?

*Mitch Lang and Tiff Lang are running some operation for Mr. Kon. They are to begin once they get the go from Mr. Kon. *Photo taken somewhere inland by Kash Lang(most likely their son?) *Mila is Daniel's wife. She is said to have died at least 4 years ago after a car accident that Daniel managed to survive.  *Mila was known to collect various cultural outfits and objects, her style varying on her mood. 

AU OVERVIEW- The Campers have finally escaped Isla Nublar and are heading toward what they believe to be Costa Rica. But an unexpected turn of events leaves the six shipwrecked on an island full of secrets, mysteries, and threats they have never encountered before. 

SCENE SCRIPT-

Darius: What’s that?

Brooklyn jumps slightly and pulls back. Darius can now see the image that they found below, with its edge now folded. 

Darius: Do you know who they are?

Brooklyn: No, but you said he looks like Kenji’s father. Maybe there’s some relation?

She points to the man holding onto a woman, his face stone cold but looking like a person you respect. His hair was graying and an ebony tablet was in his other hand.

Brooklyn: Wonder what he was doing? Did our poachers know him at some point?

Darius goes closer, looking over all the details, then takes the photo and flips it over. On the back, he sees a small text written in the top left. It is barely noticeable and written in scratchy handwriting.

Brooklyn: I must have missed that.

Darius: November 8, 2015. Taken at-- I can’t read that part, their handwriting is too messed up. 

Brooklyn: The 8th was about a month before Jurassic World fell. So this is very recent and they all met not too long ago.

Darius(reading): Mitch Lang, Tiff Lang, Daniel Kon, Mila Kon, and the image is taken by Kash Lang.

Brooklyn quietly breathes in surprise.

Brooklyn: That is Kenji’s father! We called it! Wait! Is that his mother too? 

Brooklyn stares down at the photo, taking in the woman.

Brooklyn: She looks like him. They have the same facial expression when being forced to do something. Mrs. Kon must not like to stand for pictures.

Brooklyn says a few more things, but Darius doesn’t seem to hear them. Brooklyn shakes his arm and he looks at her.

Brooklyn: That’s Kenji’s mother! Ha! Not what I- What’s wrong?

Darius: Kenji… he… he told me that--

Darius: -his mother is dead.

Brooklyn takes a moment to register what he said, but once it does she looks sick. She glances back down at the photo, then back up.

Brooklyn: His parents wouldn’t lie to him? No one could do that to their kid.

Darius: Kenji said back when we first met that his mother died a few years ago. I think it was from a car wreck. He told me-

Kenji: (cuts in with a tired voice and a yawn) I told you what?

Sebson Sunday (Nov 24th 2024)

Around these dates: November 24th - 27th 2016 (8 years ago) was the last weekend of Jenson Button's full season as a Formula 1 Driver with his final race in Abu Dhabi.

His news of retirement had actually been going rampant since 2015, which was why a journalist asked this question in Suzuka that same year. So, here's a nice statement from Seb about Jenson🥰

Question: Drivers come and go in this sport. Some quicker than others, as we know. It's Formula 1, the nature of the business, but what would it mean if, and still a big if yet, Jenson did decide to call it a day at the end of this season?

Jenson: Please be nice.

Sebastian: First of all, I think we don't know if that's the case. I think you tried to ask him, but yeah, I think he has his reasons whatsoever not to go further. Yeah, it would be a loss for sure, obviously. Yeah, I remember when I was a little kid and he was considered very, very young joining Formula 1. And I have to give you that he looked very young when he started with Williams.

Nowadays, though, you have guys with 17 starting already. So in that case, he was already old when he started, or I was quite old. But yeah, certainly, he's a big character. We know that he's quick. He deserves to be a champion. And I'm sure if there were more years where he had the package to win the big one, then he would have had a big say in that. So the quality is out of doubt. On top of that, he's a very fair guy on the track, outside the track. I think we all like him for many reasons, so it will be a big loss.

Jenson: Thank you, mate… start crying in a minute. I'm getting emotional.

Fallout 4: November 10, 2015

8 years ago today, on November 10, 2015, Fallout 4 officially released to the world, bringing us a brand new Fallout experience 5 years since the last!

Happy 8th Anniversary Fallout 4! I remember watching the E3 Presentation for the game, and being so excited for it!

Pre-production on Fallout 4 began shortly after the completion of Fallout 3's final add-on, Mothership Zeta. Art development started in 2009.

Similar to Fallout 3, one of the first things they created was the game's Power Armor, originally designed as a reimagining of the T-45.

The legendary Adam Adamowicz contributed to the game prior to his passing, with sketches of his work on the game being included in The Art of Fallout 4.

According to artist Jonah Lobe, Adam was ultimately responsible for designing the game's Super Mutants!

On June 2, 2015, a countdown timer was added to Bethesda's Fallout website, expiring at 10 AM EDT the following day.

Seconds before the counter ended, the trailer for Fallout 4 was released to the world.

On June 14, 2015, Bethesda showcased the game at E3 2015, with Todd Howard taking the stage to talk about it extensively.

Fallout 4 released on November 10, 2015, giving us more Fallout experiences to cherish! We absolutely love the companions the game gave us, as well as so much more.
