The first thing you might notice about our cast this time around is that they’re a lot more visually colorful than their forebears have been. Gone are the days of Adventure and 02′s sort of washed-out look, and with a larger primary cast, the change becomes much more apparent.

The second thing you might notice is that there’s something of an imbalance in this series representation-wise. One of Frontier’s more glaring flaws, in my opinion, is that one of these characters, and ONLY one, happens to be of a certain persuasion, and to me that just amplifies all the issues Digimon has ever had concerning representation.
