😊 #TransformationTuesday 😊 It's hard to believe I started running 7 years ago next month and no it has not been easy...it's been satisfying to look at old pictures and be happy I found one addiction that took over another. That being running overtaking the eating. It only took me 2 years to run a half marathon and 3 years to run a full. Allot of Mike's in that time and allot of heart ache. 💪 #PreRace 🏃‍♂️ Drove through thick fog to the Buckeye State to run the Hicksville Fire Department 5K for my 4th time. Hoping for a sub 30:00 and top 3 in my age bracket. I have in my last 3 attempts placed 2nd, 5th and 3rd 2018-2020 I know I'm training for an Ultra, But I had to fit this race in to help support this department on their annual race. 📸 #RacePic 😁 Just got course photos for @fort4fitness race 2021 and got say some of the best of any of the big races I have done to-date in my 7 years of running. Yet another reason if you are looking for a race to consider making a weekend of, consider this one. I'm not being bias just because it's my home town, but it's a well organized event and you have several races to choose from of all varying lengths. Although these picks were great, looking at them I am reminded I really should get skin removal surgery. 270 lbs of weight loss leaves allot of loose skin. I have grown use to running with it, but it does come across looking like a basset Hound when running. I can't wait till the 2022 race, going to try for the triple crown then.
