Oliver isn't exactly looking for a hybrid when he comes to the pound. He's trying to pick up the girl who works there, more specifically. Really you're getting in the way of that - which is why he even meets you in the first place. His failed attempts at picking her up have him following her all around the facility.

You're a recent find - an abandoned and highly intelligent hybrid. You're capable of non-verbal communication and generally speaking independent. But it's rare that people come to look after you since you're well past being cute and cuddly on first glance. You've got visible scars and everything.

You're more mangy, more mutt than puppy and you've got a nasty glare until she comes to greet you. Oliver isn't exactly trying to adopt a hybrid when he meets you, but you lock eyes and he gets the strangest feeling.

Oliver tries to stay away from all the hybrid stuff. He doesn't even really like pets. But he knows enough about them to know that most people look to take a hybrid home want them to be cute, obedient, and clueless.

From the scars on your face and the general disdain you show him, a warning growl in the low of your throat - he can tell you're none of these things. Fuck you too, really. If Oliver brought a doggirl home, it wouldn't be you anyway.

The girl he's trying to sleep with has nothing but adoring things to say about you. At one point, she's petting you and you're licking against her hand with something he's damn sure is smugness. It's personal after that - driven by petty annoyance Oliver agrees to bring you home.

You definitely understand given the way you protest. You're cagey when he tries to get near you - bitey and difficult. Mean.

The weight of his choice doesn't really hit him until he's home with a doggirl and none of the things necessary to care for you.

Though Oliver is a lot of things, he's not a complete piece of shit. It was mostly a choice made on a whim, but it'd be a lie to say he wasn't drawn to you in some unknowable and nonsensical away from before.

So, Oliver becomes a hybrid owner to a very mean doggirl in the span of a few days.

For the first few months you live together, you do nothing by fight with him. You tear up his furniture, ruin his clothes, growl loudly when he tries to bring girls over and suck up to long-time hook-ups so he can't get rid of you. You spend a lot of time making his life difficult and his life alone. When he's busy from work, all the sitters only have nice things to say about you. Well-behaved, quiet, easy to handle.

It's just him you seem to drive crazy.

You understand every word out of his mouth but pretend otherwise. He spends a lot of time threatening to toss you out onto the street. Worse though, you get a real kick out of pissing him off.

He ends up calling the shelter again after a while goes by with no improvement. He calls with full resolve to send you back to that damn place, but the cute girl picks up the phone.

He doesn't even ask to hear about you. She just starts talking as soon as she hears him.

They ran background through some tags and found you prior in the system. It's a chilling feeling hearing where you used to come from - a fucking hybrid mill to a rich family with no morals - something to do with dog fights. Oliver watches you sleep in the corner of the living room, curled up on the dog bed he bought you that you've always been territorial over.

You've never been able to sleep without fits, but he didn't put together that their may be any reason for it.

He hangs up the phone in the dark that night, too prideful to say sorry - but decides to try and get along with you the best he can afterwards.

There's a weird period of adjustment where Oliver gives up on trying to get you to behave around him. He deals with your messes and growling in nonplussed silence and sometimes amusement, and occasionally feels so guilty about all of it he pets your head when you're asleep. All soft fur and pointed ears and fitful rests.

He feels kind of ridiculous about all of it - but the change in behavior on your end is incredibly noticeable. Eventually you also seem to give up on trying to fight him.

It's tense and not much more than camaraderie at first.

Once you get comfortable, you act like a lot more like a dog than he was expecting. You move your things to sleep by the foot of the bed and greet him when he comes home despite not having any prior interest. You don't get on the couch unless he invites you up, and you wake him up properly to take you on walks and run together. You're an athletic breed and keep-up with him fine.

It's weird, but Oliver finds you to be pleasant company when you're not trying to piss him off. You're intelligent, clever and curious. He starts to find you cute when he starts petting you as soon as he's home from practice. Try as you might to keep up the nonchalant act, you perk up adorably every time. Your tail wags and you you get just a little impatient and Oliver can't help but find it sweet after all you've been through.

He teases you about it every time, and you growl and hiss but still preen under the praise anyways. Times like that you feel more puppy than mutt.

He doesn't know when exactly the lines blur, or when he it becomes so normal to make you curl into bed next to him. When the affection makes him bleed to into a proud enough puppy owner to praise and sometimes spoil you between teases.

He's grown quite fond of you over the last few months.

So, when you spend all night in distress, he find himself honestly worried.

You spend an entire night whimpering before he decides to call in sick for practice and stay with you. But you're avoiding him like the plague, in an entirely different way than you were before. It's a hassle to get you to let him onto the bed without growling. He spent all morning googling symptoms before a forum from years back asks the exact same questions as him.

"...debatable. But...interesting, I'll admit..." Narumi frowned. "Well at least that explains the rumors about most your... recent "activities" in the regions villages.....former villages that is... Apparently your pet cannot only be discreet but also... very effective.."

Meanwhile two bright blue eyes glared at the intruder, fixing his every move, seemingly ready to strike on command.

Hoshina let out a light-hearted little laugh. "Nah come on, that's unfair Narumi." He gently scratched the skull of the monsterous creature next to him, as if to emphasize the comment about his pet. "Actually he's a very gentle soul, you know?"

Blue eyes still glaring.

"U-huh...friendly like a puppy... One might as well adopt him..." Narumi deadpanned.

"Of course he's friendly, silly!" Another giggle. "I'll take good care of him, there's no need for your concern."

Hoshina's way of sweet chattering was regularly getting on his nerves. Just as always Narumi began to lose his patience. "A pity." Narumi groaned as he stroke back his bangs to reveal his as well, brightly glowing pair of eyes now piercing back at them. "I was hoping we could get to know each other properly, you know?"

With noticable echo over the halls the gate behind them opened.

"I suggest we postpone that offer of yours for now. It is not our intention to disturb your appointment."

With the empty wine glass Hoshina made a last inviting gesture.

<- it was basically just a lightning/shading try-out...and then I ended up keeping it, cause *mad scientist laughing* THAT IS WHAT I DO, I DO MADNESS HERE!!! ( ◣∀◢)ψ But I am sucha simp for magenta/blue colour palettes... and it was more comfortable to look at. But the warmer look has its own appeal to it aswell..... I can't decide...

who's your favorite criminal clownery character to draw? favorite to write/think about? favorite dynamic? and can i get a fun fact or something you havent shared yet about them :]

my favs to draw are pirplexa and shirley for some reason. pirplexa because she's like a weird son to me (i'm very attached to her! shes like my favorite oc ever! i went off when i designed her!) + shirley because ever since i changed her hair style shes been a lot easier+more fun to draw. i think also carni i love drawing her w different hair styles and clothing.

my favorites to write for are pirplexa/carni/prince. that makes sense cuz theyre like. the Main protagonists+villain, but its really fun to explore their different personalities/backstories. Dude writing backstories especially for pirplexa and prince is so fun for me. also recently writing xio has been really fun n interesting to me. in general i think its fun to explore Why A Character is like That, why do they behave like that!

i got a lot of dynamics i like exploring but my favs are carni/pirplexa, carni/trill, prince/shirley, prince/xio and babs/miles. for carni dynamics its fun because she's one of the more happy/chipper characters, contrasted with pirplexa being more cold/untrusting and trill being more calm and collected. i plan for carni and trill to really dislike eachother at first, but eventually start to understand and fall for eachother <3 while with carni and pirplexa its more about pirplexa learning to trust and make friends again.

prince and shirley are siblings with extremely different world views and thought processes, they really dislike eachother. they grew up in the same enviroment yet reacted to it completely differently.

prince and xio is fun to me, ive been trying to give xio more of involved in the story+cast&crew while prince just thinks of her as his cute secretary. he sucks real bad! she doesnt like him she barely tolerates the others but he pays her to kill people so shes like whatever i can deal with this. and then she finds out he wants a consensual workplace relationship and shes like YAY HOW CAN I MANIPULATE THIS MAN!!!!!!!!!!!

babs/miles are dating at the beginning of cc, but their relationship gets a bit complicated due to babs being a little crazy about him and miles struggling with his sense of masculinity, its really not a relationship thats meant to last for long, its a bit tragic. (also why they are in love by david byrne is in both of their playlists LOL)

a few fun facts:

i dont think ive shared here is that prince and shirleys parents were movie stars! they met on the set of a film and had multiple movies with eachother. prince and shirley both had an odd childhood under a lot of surveillance from the public, plus their parents weren't very great parents. they both react to their trauma very differently, prince being "grateful" for it, giving him media training and feeling like his parents crafted him (even when he knows his parents didn't have much faith in him and bet a lot on shirley), while shirley absolutely despises the rest of her family. of course she'll go to the annual family dinner with prince, but that doesnt mean that she won't loathe every second of it.

pirplexa is a dog person! he loves dogs! he doesn't own one because he doesnt think hes in the right headspace to have one yet, but he will pet every random dog on the street. i like to think a few years after the events of cc when he's mentally better, he does adopt a dog.

miles and shirley don't get along very well, shirleys kinda like a bully older sister, she puts him in headlocks and stuff.

Do you have any pets?

I do! My husband and I have 3 dogs: a mini-pomeranian named Bella(trix), a chihuahua named Gumball, and a mixed breed (genuinely no idea what he's a mix between) named Shoto. All three are named after TV/movie characters lol

We had a cat named Oreo but he recently went missing, very sadly ;-;

We live with my family currently and they have 4 cats: Toby, Cleo(catra), Rory, and Shadow. I found Toby as an abandoned kitten and Rory and Cleo are twins that my parents originally adopted for me when I was going through a hard time, but they became family pets instead when I got Bella.

The family also has a chicken named Clara. We had like 15 at first but a sickness swept through the coop and they all died except the mother. It was really sad for my little sisters.

She is the oldest and was given up for adoption (before my parents even got together). But sadly dad died a few years ago and so he never knew about his other daughter. We have since met up and keep in touch though so it's still a happy ending!

Vincent had been figuring out how to spring the question onto Stuart, having wanted to ask for almost a month now, but just unsure as to how.

They had finally moved into a place together, more than big enough for the two of them and whoever they decided to add to their little family.

He had woken up one night, Stuart breathing silently next to him, face tucked in by his shoulder, gently grabbing onto the front of the shirt Vincent was wearing, and decided that maybe they could adopt a dog.

He had thought that maybe once he woke up again in the morning, the urge would pass, but he found that it was only stronger, unable to take his mind off of it.

But then he had seen Stuart standing in the kitchen, standing over their coffee maker and rubbing at his eyes, a yawn escaping his lips, and realized suddenly that he didn’t know if Stuart wanted a dog.

Which brought him to his currently predicament, unsure of how to ask if they wanted to adopt a dog. He wished that he just had a clear answer from Stuart, since he had been dropping hints for the other man, just to gauge how he would feel, but nothing conclusive had come back.

When they had gone to store to pick up groceries, Vincent had made them walk through the pet aisle, for no other reason than because he was “bored.”

He found it odd when he saw Stuart stare at the dog collars with an odd intensity, though whether it was positive or not he couldn’t tell. He found that Stuart couldn’t seem to take his eyes off a certain blue collar, meant for smaller dogs.

But then he had turned back to Vincent, and the intensity in his eyes had passed, and they had continued their way through the store, picking up everything they needed.

Or just a week ago, when they both went over to Foegele’s house, Stuart expressing that he wanted to hang out with the other man. Vincent had been shocked to find a small puppy running around the house, not realizing that Foegele had also recently adopted a dog.

Vincent thought that it was a hilarious coincidence, but another good time to figure out how Stuart felt about the idea. When they were sat on the couch, drinking a couple beers together, Vincent couldn’t help but ask Foegele about it, if had been worth, what it was like with the dog, things like that.

He had looked over to Stuart, trying to figure out his reaction, and had been surprised when he saw Stuart staring back at him, a questioning look in his eyes.

He watched the other man’s eyes widen when he raised an eyebrow, Stuart quickly looking away and back to Foegele, though Vincent could see how the tips of his ears turned pink.

When they had left, bidding Foegele and the new puppy goodbye, Vincent still felt unsure on the topic, unsure of whether or not bringing up the idea of getting a dog would be welcomed.

Despite the fact that he tried multiple times to figure it Stuart’s opinion on it, he had come up empty handed.

“Vincent?” Vincent turned his attention away from his phone, and turned to where Stuart was sitting next to him on the couch, wringing his hands together in his lap.

Vincent turned his full attention towards Stuart, realizing that his was something important. “Yeah?”

“I’ve been thinking about this for a while, and I don’t know if you’d want to do it, and- it’s ok if you don’t! I was just thinking that maybe we could get a dog?” He asked it so hesitantly.

Vincent couldn’t help but just stare at Stuart in shock, so surprised that he was rendered speechless.

“Or, we don’t have to! I was just thinking about it, we have this house, and having a dog run around, it might be nice?” He rambled on, filling the silence between them.

Vincent just continued to stare at him, unable to help the laughter that bubbled up and spilled out.

“We don’t have to do it if you don’t want to, I was- I was just thinking that it could be nice.” He watched Stuart’s shoulder’s sag slightly, and he rushed quickly to make things clear.

“No! No, I do want a dog, I really want a dog. It’s just, I didn’t know if you wanted a dog, so I’ve been trying to drop hints to see how you felt about it.” Vincent laughed a little while trying to make things clear.

He laughed a little more as he watched confusion and then realization appear across Stuart’s face, cheeks hurting from how much he was smiling when Stuart himself began to laugh.

“We’re kind of stupid aren’t we?” Stuart laughed, letting his head fall onto Vincent’s shoulder, shaking slightly with how much he was laughing.

Vincent just laughed along with him.

And if a couple months later, he had a whole album of photos on his phone of just Stuart with their little toy poodle, then that was just for him and him alone.

11 yr old purebred Doll-Faced Persian with limited vision and High Blood Pressure (NEUTERED MALE) available for ADOPTIONMeet Prince Lionhead Rabbit IV, Esquire aka 'Pea-Elle' Prince Lionhead (Prince, Princey, Lion, Lionhead, Liony-head, Simba-Doo, Mush-Mush, MRAOW-MRAOW) is an 11 yr old Doll-Faced Persian. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and has had senior labs. P-L takes a daily medication for high blood pressure. The medication is stupid-cheap but he will require regular vet checks to monitor his blood pressure so his new owner must have the budget for that. After trial and error, he prefers the pill version in a pill pocket (over the liquid version which he said did NOT taste like tuna as promised). He will come with a year's supply of his current dose which seems to be working well for him (for anyone who cares, it is amlodipine 2.5 mg and he takes 1/2 tablet per day). Our vet recommended a pouch food that helps with hydration (ProPlan Veterinary HydraCare available without a prescription on Chewy.com) as BP meds can be hard on the kidneys (his kidneys are currently fine). P-L eats this with Weruva low phosphorous wet food and dry crunchies as a side. His current dry food is ProPlan LiveClear that helps with human allergies as his foster mom is allergic to cats but he can eat whatever senior dry food you would like him to be on or what your vet prefers. He does not seem to be picky. The supplement and the wet food cost around $100/month plus the cost of dry food and we buy them on Chewy.com (no prescription required). Prince Lionhead came to us from SFACC where he was relinquished after his 90-year-old owner fell ill suddenly and ended up in a nursing home for end of life care. We have many pages of previous veterinary records and it seems that his owner was doing her very best to care for him when she was having trouble even caring for herself. Due to having high blood pressure that went untreated during the time that his owner fell ill, it has damaged his vision. He CAN see, but he does not see well. His vision has improved over the several weeks we have had him in foster care and our vet says it is 50/50 if he will continue to improve. He does fine and we consider this a non-issue. Due to his need for regular blood pressure checks, his wet food and supplements and his grooming needs, he is NOT a cat for an owner on a budget. He's perfect with his litterbox, a sweet and gentle soul with an easy purr and a love of petting (even belly rubs!) and cuddling He's never had a bad day in his entire life - he was VERY loved in his previous home and it shows He loves snuggles, belly rubs, butt rubs, petting, brushing, snuggling and love. He has five canine companions, and he hates them. But this is just presented as hissing and avoidance. He has learned to co-exist with the two little dogs who LOOOOOOOVVVVVEEE him. So he could probably live with respectable dogs especially if he has a place to retreat away from them when needed. He DOES lay on the bed with them to sleep with the humans. The 4lb dog thinks he's winning P-L over with his invitations to play and P-L seems less and less annoyed with him but has not responded to the invitation to play. Top right: Tuathal by ???. I don't have the user who drew this one listed; meaning, I must have commissioned it closer to when I first joined (some files are named with their artists, some aren't). However, I remember that Tuathal was a prince that I wanted colored like a Colt. It was a really weak character that I was trying to force to come together based on its name.

Sort of related: I had a pet named Instict once (misspelled Instinct I believe) and I think it was a Spectrum Kora that I REALLY tried my best with (and it fucking won spotlight and I adopted it out LMAO; wish I kept it for the memories).

I also had a Bloodred Escalade named Salsa Verde that I commissioned a re-colored green overlay of 💀 Thankfully, Subeta did away with unique names, so I no longer have to do this lol. And potions are way easier to buy now (I stuck with Bloodred, because I was a cheapskate).

Bottom right: Snooze by heARTs (may). Does anyone remember hearts!? OMG I remember she was a really popular artist and she had some trouble with people stealing her pet profile codes. Looking back, it might've been the first instance of someone using the same template for their pets.

Her pet profiles were very clean. A lot of the freebie templates that people use today are similar to the profiles she made. As an aside, I kinda miss the days when everyone commissioned someone to make their profiles for them. The Profile & Graphics + Art boards were always booming with activity.

Snooze himself was... a dog that dressed like a sheep. Nothing much there TBH. I have a bunch of Snooze art though... maybe I'll revive him? I do want a Kumos...

It was night and you and Gyutaro were walking hand in hand on the way to his apartment. You were talking to him when suddenly, you saw a small shadow on the ground. The little ball was black, with big green eyes and it wouldn't stop meowing so like the great animal lover that you are, you bent down to take the kitten and put it inside your coat to warm it up. This time of year is usually very cold and you did not have the heart to leave the little animal back on the cold sidewalk of the street. Gyutaro wasn't very convinced about the idea of ​​having a pet, he doesn't like animals very much but he saw that now that you had taken the kitten you weren't going to let it go.

"Are you sure about this? It's like havin' a child."

"I am! Completely!"

When you arrived to the apartment, the kitten stopped meowing. The poor baby was very cold and being inside the place where there was a roof made them feel better. You immediately went to get some milk in the fridge to warm it up a bit and give it to them to drink. You looked for something for them to sleep tonight. You found an empty shoe box, took a sweatshirt from the laundry basket and placed it inside the box to be the kitty's bed. Gyutaro held the kitten with one hand while you made them little bed, then you carefully took him to drink milk and luckily the kitty accepted it.

"What the hell are you going to do if someone announces they're missing?"

"Fuck it! I don't care, it's mine now." Gyutaro laughed at your answer, he didn't expect you to want to make that decision. Usually you always try to do the "socially correct" thing contrary to him so this answer caught him off guard.

"We have to think of a name...do you think it's a boy or a girl?" you asked.

Gyutaro snatched the kitten from where he was eating, placed it on their back and pushed their tail away. He was very small so, you asked him to treat themm with more care. It's a baby after all.

"It's a male." he replied, as he handed the cat back to you.

You were excited, this was going to be a lot of fun and a new experience for you two. Gyutaro said that he wasn't going to take care of the cat or anything, but you loved to see him take the kitten and pet him or even talk to him like he was a baby when "you weren't looking". Gyutaro is definitely the type of person who says "no animal enters this house" but when one enters, he can't stop charging or pay attention to it. Now, Gyutaro and you should think of a name for the kitten as if you were expecting your own baby. The kitten was very affectionate with you but even though you were the one who rescued him, the kitten preferred to sleep on Gyutaro's lap, rub his tail on his legs and meow very often when he was in home. It was somewhat ironic, but you were happy that the kitten had adapted so well to his new home and that Gyutaro had accepted him as well.

So, this's basically the story of how i got my new cat like 3 weeks ago (but without Gyutaro lol) i already had a carey and an orange cat and now i found this baby! I'm completing my cat collection! lmao recently, i found out that it's a boy so i'm still thinking a name for him. Also, i'm already on vacation! so now i'm finally free to write and do whatever i want. Hope u like it! 💖

LordTheseus was a pound find and I loved the name so much i adopted him and made him a cunty gay guy. I painted him faerie with one of the FFQs before i realized the prize shop was basically giving away faerie pbs lol i also recently dropped like 3mil on buying him the darigan gruslen from the FF bc i missed logging in a day or two and couldnt get the prize myself ;;

SoftSybil was the first pet I made! I kinda imagine her as like the extrovert sister to the introvert Bluebell, so I painted her disco a while back and just kinda left it at that, but idk i might mix it up and totally redo her eventually i just dont know what i want with her lol

TurboFritz is also a pound find and my current lab ray pet, she started as a zafara and my goal was to zap her to robot, which is still my current goal, but for a while she was a ghost shoyru and looked pretty cool, but i still keep zapping her to try and get something cooler

im saving my remaining 4 pet slots until i really know what i want to do with them, so thats it for now!

I know you guys recently adopted a fearful dog, Emma, and I had a few questions. I dunno if you heard about it, but about 200 (well, less than that but some had litters) rough and smooth coat collies were rescued from a hoarder in Illinois.

We adopted one, he's about a year or so old and he's pretty good about things. He has no issues with us touching him or holding his legs, paws, ears, etc. or looking in his mouth, and he's getting used to us petting him and even cuddles with us.

But do you have any tips for getting him used to... Everything else? Any sort of strange object or noise makes him lose his mind. He constantly barks at cars (he's only ever lived out in the country), he's terrified of things like water bottles, boxes, etc.

Our other dog, a smooth collie who's 2 years old and actually came from a reputable breeder, is also really snippy with him. He snarls at him constantly, if Blackjack does something to upset him he'll snarl at him and then get up and FOLLOW him, continuing to snarl at him. Thankfully Jack does not care even remotely about this.

It's not total aggression or anything, they still play with each other and chase each other around, I think it's just that Max isn't used to being woken up from his naps and he's grumpy lol.

Do you have any tips for helping Blackjack be less fearful, and getting Max to stop being a grumpy turd? Do you think putting Max upstairs in his crate for longer naptimes would help? If you don't know how to deal with Max that's totally fine, I was just wondering since you guys have introduced dogs to each other before and might have dealt with them being grumps.

I love seeing updates on Emma and I'm so happy she's doing well with you guys <3 I love the videos of her and Spring zooming around in the yard.

The biggest advice I've gotten, from everyone I've talked to, has been Go Slow. I'm not sure how long you've had Jack, but seeing that the case was just in August last year, I'm guessing not too long. It often takes a rescue dog a while to settle in regardless of their circumstances, and one who's not been exposed to much or has been in iffy circumstances may take much, much longer. It's best to take more time and not push rather than go too quickly with something and cause a relapse.

That's great that he's doing so well with touching and handling from the humans! That's a big step and helps a lot with daily care. Since he sounds like he's being reactive to most other new things, I would do what you can to limit the things that trigger the reactivity - you may need to block windows, stick to just yard time instead of walks, or maybe walks very early or late, or designating a Safe Room where you avoid bringing in things he reacts to so he can relax. Not permanently, but for the time being while he tries to adjust to big changes & so you can slowly start work on desensitization to different things.

Two major recommendations - get a no-aversives trainer experienced with fearful dogs to work with your family & both dogs. I'm extremely new to dog training, but everything I've read and been told is that aversive training added to fear will make things much worse very quickly. You want someone who can help you figure out a good method and schedule to desensitize Jack to his fears slowly & carefully, without further overwhelming him. It may very well take months to address the reactivity and help him learn new ways of managing his responses.

A good trainer will also be able to help with managing Max and both dogs to keep things more peaceful. While it's great that Jack has just been ignoring Max's aggression, it's still definitely a big concern, especially that Max will follow & try to continue the behavior. I have literally no experience in this area other than some reading, so really really stress getting a good trainer. I worry that as Jack settles in more & matures, he may stop tolerating Max trying to pick a fight & then you'll have a Problem. It would be best to try and prevent this kind of situation until you can get someone to help you with it so it doesn't escalate.

My second recommendation - it might be worth talking to your vet and see what they think about medication for Jack. Without seeing him or knowing how often he's reacting, what kind of state he's in most of the day, etc, I don't know if it would be a good call for him or not, but it doesn't hurt to ask. Anxiety meds may help him relax a little so he can focus better and actually learn.

Also, this is no substitute for the above suggestions, but I found this Facebook group for owners of fearful dogs & have been really happy with it! They stress the same approach as my trainers that are experienced with fearful dogs, which is very reassuring. And it's just really nice to see other people who are in similar boats with their dogs, celebrating little things that are actually huge milestones, etc.

later on , obvi her entire family got rich due to mia’s success  &  her mother made sure their / her fame didn’t phase out , so she established a company in her name that would produce her subsequent movies and videos  ( career claim: the olsen twins movies hehe )  which mia didn’t mind bc she loved acting  &  the fans just  ATE UP  . 

once she turned 18 , bigger movie deals started coming along  &  soon enough she landed her big break by starring in a movie called  ALMOST FAMOUS  where she even got an oscar nomination for best supporting actress !!  it was a  HUGE  deal !!

WANT TO WANT ME:  they have been friends for a while but somewhere along the line things crossed the line and they began hooking up . it’s obvious that they feel something intense for each other but something is always in the way --- plus , neither are really sure if the friendship could withstand a romantic relationship crashing and burning . so here they are , stuck in limbo . they hook up , hang out , awkwardly third wheel when other is dating someone ..... 

CRASH AND BURN:  remember how mia doesn’t date actors ??  this plot is why .  they’re exes that ended on bad terms with lingering feelings . this was just a crazy hot and cold relationship that the whole world was obsessed over tbh . when it was hot , it was fucking hot . when it was cold ?  damn . hell itself could freeze over .  they probably have done  &  said a lot of nasty , nasty shit to each other  (  and maybe to the press too ?  ) . at the same time , they could’ve been literally planning their wedding at some point because they both were incredibly serious about each other . 

THE ROMANTIC BAD INFLUENCE:  this plot is another messy piece of trash . from the beginning , when they first met , mia always thought your muse was too good to be true . she felt this sense of peace with him . she fell in love quickly but at the same time , felt like there was something looming over their relationship . like it wasn’t permanent . like it’s all just a dream .  i see your muse bringing out edgier sides of mia’s personality . they party a lot , they influence mia to do crazy things with them and she does and she feels so alive . that is , until , it all crumbles . the facade is destroyed and whatever it was that your muse wasn’t being upfront about shatters the way she feels for your muse entirely . she feels betrayed .
