Being Married To Ivar Would Include...

-Ivar being really protective over you in every single way possible. He would fight anyone who tries to mess with you or try and take you away from him.

-Him wanting to make sure that you are safe no matter what and always has someone go with you in the village does not matter if it is him or some other warrior going with you.

-During feasts he always has you sit with him. He does not want you to feel alone or have to sit with another man. So, he just wants you to sit with him.

-When you both are in bed, he loves to cuddle with you and be with you all throughout the night. Sometimes, he lets you cuddle him from behind but his most favorite is when he is laying down on his back and then you just lay your head on his chest.

-You both always having fun no matter what is going on. Everyone always notices that you both are always smiling around each other and making each other laugh at any time possible.

-Him always being super gentle with you. He is always gentle touching you. He always makes sure that when he hugs you or even when you both cuddle that he is being gentle and soft with you.

-His brothers have had a small crush on you at some point but have let it go because they had realized that you were staying with Ivar for a long time.

-His brothers liking you and thinking that you are a good fit for him and could handle all of his crazy tendencies.

-Ragnar and Aslaug liking you as well and treating you as if you are their own family and talking to you as such as well.

How do you think our babies (Denmark, Norway and Sweden) looked during Kalmar times? I always imagine Denmark growing up a bit during it because it's kind of a pinnacle of power for him!

I already showed what Sweden would have looked like, but sure! I think your image of Den makes a lot of sense.

In my personal headcanons, I think Norway was practically bedridden at the beginning of the union since the plague hit him especially hard. Due to his poor health, he depended on other people to do even the most basic tasks, which must have driven him insane. His poor health, being stuck indoors (leading to a lack of contacts and opportunities) and basically the absence of freedom sealed his fate for the next centuries going forward. Maybe the few times he genuinely rebelled and ran away were especially dangerous due to his condition, but he must have had so much built-up frustration about many things at the time.

Sweden came and went as he pleased, running away a lot when he got frustrated or upset. Sweden's unwillingness to cooperate drove Denmark nuts, so they argued a lot. I feel like Den had genuinely good intentions, trying to make this union they were forced into work. But he was also more experienced than the rest of his family, having multiple alliances to take care of, so he ended up taking the leadership role in most situations. So I don't think Denmark getting upset about Norway and Sweden running around with growing pains and failing to see the bigger picture is completely unjustifiable...

There's just too much to get into, so this is briefly a general picture of how I see the union. They were all physically young, and thus immature and stupid, so it's not surprising at all that the union didn't really work out at any point.

What They'd Do for a First Date (Axis, Allies, & Nordics)

Something very quick because I just really wanted to get this idea out there. Also, I'm spending more and more time on my 2p!Prussia x Reader fic, but I wanted to make sure the rest of y'all are being fed.

So here are my headcanons on where I think a large chunk of the Hetalia boys would do for a first date!

Italy: While Feliciano's down for pretty much anything, he'd want to make sure the first date is something special. As such, he'd plan a nice, romantic dinner for the two of you where he cooks the food.

Germany: Ludwig would want to have the date at his house where you'd bake something together. He'd rather make either cake or bread. But he'd be open to hearing your ideas on what the two of you can bake.

Japan: I can see Kiku taking you to a painting class. Nothing super fancy or advanced, but something small, simple, and fun. Something where the two of you can delve into your creative side.

Prussia: Gilbert would 100% take you to the movies. He'd be down for seeing whatever you wanted to see, though he's more partial to action/adventure films. However, he wouldn't be opposed to horror, as he likes the idea of you getting scared and holding onto him.

Romano: Lovino will take you on a long walk around Rome sightseeing. He'd be pointing out every last bit of architecture you see and would recite a full history of everything. He's also the kind of guy to wanna take you on a boat ride.

America: Two words; amusement park. Alfred will absolutely take you to an amusement park or a state fair where you'd eat all kinds of fried foods, go on all of the rides, and, if it's a state fair, take you to the petting zoo. He'd also stress over planning the perfect kiss at the top of the Ferris wheel where the two of you'd watch the fireworks.

England: A first date with Arthur would be at a bookstore similar to that of Barnes and Noble. He'd want to look at different books with you and then chat about them over a cup of tea at an adjoining cafe.

France: I know it's kinda cliche at this point, but Francis would bring you to a fancy restaurant for a romantic, candle-lit dinner. Preferably in an area of the restaurant that is somewhat secluded. Hey, if it ain't broke don't fix it!

Russia: Ivan would simply want to go for a walk. Nothing big and fancy. He's perfectly content with something quiet and simple. He'd want to just stroll around town and chat about any of your shared likes or hobbies.

China: Maybe this is a little funny, seeing as he's so old, but Yao would take you to a museum. Mainly to constantly fact-check the workers there, as well as the displays. Especially if it's a Chinese museum. He's been around for 4000+ years, honey. He knows more than the people who work there.

Canada: Okay, this can go one of two ways. Matthieu would either take you on a nature walk through the beautiful Canadian woods, or he'd take you to a hockey game. Either way, the night will end with the two of you going in for a kiss, only to get interrupted by Mr. Kumajiro.

Denmark: I know this is gonna sound ridiculous, but Mathias would absolutely take you to the Lego Store. There is no way you can convince me that this man doesn't love Legos. He'd get cute little minifigures made of the two of you.

Sweden: I can see Berwald either being content with sitting at home and drinking hot cocoa, going to a musical performance of some kind, or, dare I say it, going to an IKEA and talking about what pieces of furniture would look the best in his or your living room.

Norway: Lukas would take you out into the woods late in the evening for the two of you to stargaze. He'd point out different constellations and tell you the stories behind them.

Finland: Alright, we all know Tino's a cutie, but don't let that adorable face deceive you. A first date with this man will either end up with him taking you to a heavy metal concert, or taking you out sharpshooting.

How do Hong Kong and Iceland handle fame as teenage nations? I imagine Iceland isn't happy but Hong Kong would thrive in the spotlight

Iceland isn't too big on being a public figure. Luckily, he's not as high profile as some other nations are. He has a lot of privacy at home, and people just treat him like any other citizen. He doesn't get paparazzi unless he's in a foreign nation. Even when he does the occasional interview, he's still a bit closed off. He could go to public school, but he's chosen to be homeschooled because he finds it easier.

On social media, It's typical angsty teen stuff. He definitely uses tumblr a lot. He has an account for his normal interests and an account for shitposting. On instagram, he usually posts pictures of his natural landscapes and Mr. Puffin. The other nordics (especially Norway) like all of posts and comment embarrassing supportive messages within five minutes.

Hong Kong has a lot of fun with his fame. He puts on a face of "oh I'm a studious and well-mannered kid" on tv and stuff, but literally everyone knows how much of a little shit he is. I also think he's a teenage heart-throb. He's used to paparazzi, and he usually has other people handle his stalkers.

He is definitely chronically online. He posts a lot of memes and makes reels of him in class and follows popular trends. He also posts him teaching China about stupid brainrot memes. It's like the opposite of Iceland where Hong Kong is the one messing with China. He also likes taking pictures of people in 0.5.

"Oh, thank you," Bjorn said with a genuine smile and wiped the snow from his clothes.

・Your mind made life both amazing, and horrid. You could be five steps ahead of everyone else, but then they all look like you're out of your mind.

・Bjorn ate with you and your family, getting to know them with grace and diplomacy.

Their relationship during the viking age was mostly very amicable, apart from a few minor fights and arguments later on. In contrast to England and Denmark, Norway and Scotland mostly co-existed peacefully beside each other and even developed a friendship. Norway has always been a traveller and would rarely stay in one place for long, but he would often spend his summers and occaionally autumns in his territories close to Scotland before moving along on his next adventure. During these months Norway and Scotland would hang out and Norway would tell Scotland stories about all his adventures out on the sea, exploring westward, as a hired soldier for the Byzantine emperor, helping out Denmark with his wars agaisnt England, and joining Sweden on his trips east. Scotland would think these were the coolest stories and always look forward to Norway's occasional visits. And sometimes Norway would even bring him exotic gifts he'd picked up on his travels.

Being Bjorn's Woman Would Include

-Being his woman would include a lot of things. It can also be overwhelming sometimes being with him.

-One of the things that is included being in a relationship with him is that he is so protective of you. Even in ways you would never imagine. Every time that you go with him to travel, he is watching you at all times and always makes you walk with him locking arms

-He is the type of man that loves to cuddle. So, every night when you both get into bed, he just holds on to you and almost makes you stay there.

-He loves spoiling you. Like a lot. whenever he goes out to travel or fight, he always makes sure to pick you up something. whether it is a dress or jewelry. Or even something to cook with if he passes it in the markets.

-He is such a gentle man with you. He would hate if you had gotten hurt because of him. That is one of his nightmares. He hates the thought of you in general in his watch getting hurt

-He also makes sure that you are never cold in the winter. He does not want you getting sick. So, he gives you one of his furs to make sure you do not get cold so easily.

HAVE YOU PERCHANCE ever considered drawing den with curly hair?!???… because because since he has hella messy hair in the canon material and is implied to just be waking up like that, i can’t really imagine him having straight hair…(ik you draw him wavy already, but let me explain!) i kinda hc that he has dense curls and its just that hima has no idea how to draw it. i mean think about it: not one character has ever been seen with curls. seychelles has straight hair, cameroon has a buzzcut, cuba has dreads(i think…) etc. so i say… everyones a bit wavier than what we see! i also think belgium has ringlets and greece is also super curly and stuff like that! also curly denmark would look kinda like michael bundesen(the danish singer ever, but no im nowhere near danish lol) and that is so special to me…

matthias has a slight anxious attachment style. he tries to keep a level head and not ask for reassurance every few minutes though

although when his partner tells them that they love him/glad that they are together, he breathes a silent sigh of relief and holds onto every word

it's pretty comfortable to sleep with matthias. however, on days where he is extremely tired, he'll fall asleep instantly and snore quite loudly. he'll let his partner sleep on his arm the entire night, no matter how numb it becomes!

as for chores and other things to do around the house, matthias loves to organize things in the house just the way he likes them. him and his partner will discuss which decorations would look good, they buy them and decorate accordingly. he usually hates cleaning the bathroom, unless it's a deep cleaning.

matthias has a problem with clothes. sometimes they are just so annoying! during the early mornings and late nights, the dane's partner can get an eyeful of his lean, pale body without all the pesky clothing in the way ;) (sometimes a guy just wants to walk around his space naked #noshame)

lukas is super independent while still being doting and thoughtful towards his partner. surprisingly though, he gets slightly more clingy during the winter months...he just wants to hold his partner tight and share body heat

speaking of how independent he is, lukas prefers to sleep seperately. he likes having a space in the house/apartment allll to himself. he is more than okay with having 'sleepovers' where his partner sleeps with him for a night or two <3

surprisingly, lukas hates putting away groceries and doing the laundry. for one, he's lazy and tired after an hour at the grocery store. plain and simple. two, the smell of any detergent, no matter what scent it is, activates his allergies. making him sneeze while he's trying to fold the freshly washed clothes.

since lukas prefers taking morning showers before work, he'll insist his partner joins him. he doesn't like to up the water bill and this is a way to prevent that. lukas and his lover end up having an intimate moment where they kiss, touch and rub all up against each other which leaves them thinking about one another for the rest of the day

tries to act like he is not clingy but if his partner asks him if he would like to go with them somewhere, he'll go, no questions asked. he wishes work didn't exist so the both of them could just stay together all the time and spend the whole day in each other's company.

it's really nice sharing a bed with emil, he tends to stay on his side of the bed and it's easy to share the blanket with him. he loves when his partner slides over to his side and cuddles with him until they both fall asleep. the next morning, they'll wake up to platinum blond hair in their face as emil is nestled soundly into their arms

he doesn't mind doing most chores at all! but, if he had to pick; watering his plants would be his most favorite, and vaccuming would be his least. (he hates how loud that machine is)

right before it's time to sleep, emil will be in bed reading a novel or scrolling on his phone. if suddenly he grows bored of doing that, he'll get handsy with his partner, touching parts of their body he knows will provoke them into making him stop by holding him down to the bed...
