Ok so i def think that for whatever reason Jerma is either willingly with Showfall Media or plays a much bigger role than we suspect.

The reason why i think this leads back to the “missing” posters in the Showfall Media announcement video, where we very clearly see posters of Sneeg and Charlie, and then the video glitches and we’re told that they were already taken.

This makes me believe that Sneeg and Charlie were the first ones, Charlie then Sneeg then Ranboo.

Charlie seems more self aware and is not as “npc” like as Sneeg and Ranboo, whereas they are the participants of the game, Sneeg having already failed and Ranboo the next player.

Another thing is that other than Ranboo, Charlie is the only one so far to have more than one teaser of sorts. Sneeg has a missing poster, Jerma has a voice line teaser, Charlie has both.

Which means that we can guess that Jerma is the next “room boss” of sorts, and is willingly doing this. Plus, with his connection to rats it would strike me as odd that TSE: 1 ended with 2 ppl in rat masks knocked Ranboo out and not someone more inconspicuous, if not for the fact that Jerma is in on whatever Showfall Media has done and what they plan on doing.

Sneeg is very similar to Ranboo is that he is just a participant and seems kind of confused on whats happening but at the same time is still playing the game, no questions asked. He has already been in Ranboos place and is now being forced to act like nothing is wrong.

And then theres Charlie, he was the first to dig in too deep and pay the price. I think he went missing a while ago, or maybe he got in too deep and couldnt find a way out until it was too late, and because Showfall Media couldn’t do anything else with him, they made him a room boss, forcing him to do what he set out to destory.

Also i want to point out that during TSE: 1 Charlie says something along the lines of “i could never like someone who likes rats” which once again makes me think of Jerma, and how he has a larger role in all of this, and that maybe Charlie, with what self awareness he had, was trying to warn Ranboo about him?

There is definitely a reason why Charlie has 2 teasers whereas Jerma and Sneeg had 1, and i think it connects to who is actively with Showfall Media and who isn’t.

Tuggoffelees Headcanons

Sometimes with different interpretations bc Im actually a cat, a dog and a weasel parading as a human, you would probably see me slowly navigate it out bc I alrdy have several clear stories in my brain. Also I do Quaxo is Misto stuff but I still call him Misto usually, I don't like writing the letter Q.

Misto fell first but Tugger fell harder

Childhood friends Misto thought they were alrdy married, he's a "its you, its always going to be you" because we love our horribly platonic girlies (me, I am girlie😔)

Tugger absolutely just went "wait he's so cool, what the hell" when Misto started his Mr Mistoffelees act. Like he was like already slightly in love but suddenly it overflowed and now he doesn't know what to do

He doesn't even know if what Misto does to him is just banter or flirting (Misto's version flirting are basically trust games where he confirms Tugger does in fact, trust him)

Tugger has zero idea how magic works but is a supportive bf

When Misto researches a new trick and needs someone to show it to or help he finds Tugger first

This has been happening since they were young

Tugger has zero idea what is happening but is always hyping Misto up even when he fails

Misto has slight stage fright so when he's performing, he mostly focuses on Tugger because he knows no matter what Tugger will never be disappointed in him

Tugger doesn't realizes this bc he always sits near Old Deut and thinks Misto is just looking at him

Tugger is absolutely terrified of lice since childhood

So do the other maine coons but Tugger is suuuper dramatic about it

He always runs to Misto all distressed and whines to him and asks him to zap them out

But Tugger is also kind of scared of electric so Misto has to slowly calm him down and hold his hand before doing the lightest shock that is required to kill it

and afterwards he has to console him and helps him clean it out

Tugger's owners are still confused as to why he always runs out after getting lice and always comes back all clean with the happiest trot

Misto is super secure about the relationship

Which is why Tugger is still confused if they are in a relationship or not

Misto doesn't get it and thinks that Tugger is just shy or smth and thinks that its kinda cute

thoughts on Free! Iwatobi Swim Club

by your one and only casual anime watcher, who is now dipping their toes in sports anime

god, free! was amazing!

it's been a while since i enjoyed an anime this much, and i think this proves that i should watch more sports anime. all of the ones i watched so far were really good (sk8 the infinity and yuri on ice), something is up with this genre

so anyway, free!. i love swimming and water so it was already an ideal premise for me. the characters are all super likeable and have different sides to them. i wouldn't say they are perfect, but what i can give them, is that they all feel like genuine friends, who enjoy spending time together.

REI WAS THE TRUE MVP. this boy saw that the other three had problems with rin and went "alright, lemme fix this" AND THEN HE DID!! nah, for real tho, i think without him, rin's reconciliation with the rest wouldn't happen. i appreciated that rei did this not only for the sake of his team, but also for himself. i also liked that he openly communicated: "i want to know what happened between you, i am a part of the team and i don't want to be left out". maybe i haven't seen a good anime in a while, but i felt like this openess was really refreshing. i love him sm <3

BUT, i was scared shitless when this mf SWAM OUT INTO THE OCEAN AT NIGHT??!?!?! LIKE BRO. at the start of their training camp i saw where this was going, but i calmed down after makoto reassured rei, i was like "phew, crisis averted" AND IT WAS NOT. they all could have died and i was not okay. and then they just forgot. about that traumatic experience. cool cool

really, every character has something that i like about them. but my favourites are definitely rei and makoto <33

from supporting characters i rly like Gou and Amakata! Gou is just so determined, supportive and unwilling to give up – she wanted to see her brother happy again and she made it happen! what a good sister <33 for ms amakata i thought she was super funny and sweet. her not always accurate quoting, sunny demeanor and how dead set she was on keeping her past secret lmao

all in all, i enjoyed this series a lot! time for free! eternal summer hehe

actually the answer to both is nadeko!! you are right that ougi is my all time fave but nadeko was acc my fave before them and still holds my second place slot!! talking about it below with spoiler talks of otorimonogatari

similarly to you i stumbled upon it in my teens like a while back. my first impression was like the memes and stuff of course with renai circulation and what not. which led to me seeing a comparison video of renai circulation and mousou express, which is super interesting and cool even without context. and scary for that matter mousou express is kind of terrifying. it leaves an incredibly lasting impression, and it certainly did on me back then. of course it helped that i like the songs too. i also saw a clip of her in medusa form which was intriguing (and also i love the design of it). this on its own though was not enough to get me to watch. actually no wait i think i tried to watch it but the order was so confusing that i started with like nise by accident somehow and i had no idea what was going on so i quit lmao. but i was still curious about the series partly due to nadeko and partly bc it was like one of those big shows that you hear about yk

then fast forward a while, i hear the kizumonogatari movies r comin out so im like fuck it lets watch even tho i have no context. luckily they turned out to be prequel stories and my experience was not totally ruined by this move lol. of course, they were really good, those movies are amazing. so now i was like more invested in the story, but only by a little bit more. the final push i needed to actually try to watch (again) was ultimately because i was so curious about nadeko. tbh she was also the reason why i finished the series in the first place. monogatari on first watch for me was overwhelming and very dense (i mean, its a dense show), and before otori i actually wasn't enjoying it like a LOT, especially not with all the weird bits the series likes to throw at you. not to say that i disliked it, it just wasn't like amazing to me. of course now i feel differently and love the early parts of the series very much too, but first watch was slightly rough at times and took me a while to complete. learning what was gonna happen with nadeko was a big motivating factor for me.

but then when i acc got to otori i was like HOLY SHIT ITS ME lmao. i mean id already liked nadeko the best from the very little id seen of her and the fuzzy spoiler memory of vaguely what was going to happen in her arc. but man otori was so good and resonated with me so much, every single moment of it was so gripping to me. i loved the stark contrast in nadeko's perspective from araragi's (esp noticeable in how she sees her classmates), how it's already set up at the very beginning as a story where she Gets Worse so there's a feeling of profound dread surrounding it, her outburst at school (my jaw actually dropped at the "shut up!" i was so shocked and then hyped lol), just like everything about kuchinawa, the incredible ost (not to mention that op of course). ougi actually did contribute to the enjoyment bc she brought up such interesting ideas at the beginning and is generally such an enigma, but shes not the focus here right now i just cant help but bring up ougi in any situation. but yeah otori hands down one of my favorite arcs, one of the ones i still go back to rewatch frequently for the profound effect it had on me and the comfort it brings

its like what you were talking about with hanekawa. nisioisin truly did an incredible job with his characterization to make so many very true-to-life and nadeko is absolutely no exception, she is very relatable to me. i've got a lot of experience in life being shy, quiet, socially anxious, generally anxious lol (although not anymore!), and as 'the sweetheart who can do no wrong', so it's very much nadeko's specific brand of avoidance and like... 'outward-facing personality management' that resonates with me, if that makes sense. i was completely aligned with her during that whole watchthrough of otori in terms of feeling how she felt. i was seeing myself reflected back at me from the screen lol. of course we have lots of differences too but the similarities were really capturing to me on my first watch through and kinda catapulted me to finish the rest. her later appearances only added onto my appreciation of her too. i'll leave it there though since you don't know so much about that yet. when u get there ill probably have more to talk about. but shes a wonderful character love her very much.

also. ghh. i wish i could say more about ougi. you have no idea. im so curious to see what you will think of them. im practically vibrating with how much i want to talk about them (a constant state of being for me). but i wont say anything yet. i will be Hush...

i cried. so much. the second the kids showed up it was over for me. i really wish haruka had actually had an appearance. im gonna give rgg the benefit of the doubt and think that maybe shell have an actual role in 8 since im pretty sure thats gonna be kiryus true final game. theyre killing him its obvious. so theyre just saving her to have a bigger impact. if shes not in 8 ill start biting

i did all of the coliseum stuff and honestly. with a few exceptions most of it was quite fun. i really enjoyed the last unlockable fight being a lookback at every final boss from the kiryu games. it was sweet and a nice touch to end things on

now for the actual story. it works as a shorter game. i really wish it had been longer but thats just me enjoying big games. the new characters were Wonderful. to no ones surprise i really really liked tsurunos character. such a pity hes an actor character cause i doubt hell ever appear again. shishido was a nice surprise and honestly works well with the role he has in the story. all his fights were cool as hell. also his dynamic with nishitani III is making me a bit unwell. i shant say more on the matter.

kinda disappointed with akames character tho. they kinda hyped her up too much for how much impact she actually has. like sure shes fun and shes in the story for quite a bit but like. shes kinda flat. and i know the track record these writers have with the female characters so i dont know what i was expecting but shes literally the only female character in the game. i wouldve liked something more than "i speak funny cause im from kansai. i smoke. i help the homeless. i wanted to be an idol". sure its kiryus game and they were working with some limitations cause of the story but like. yeah. idk lets just hope the female characters in gaiden are a bit better

anyways i liked it a lot and im really happy 8 is just a couple months away cause im super excited for that one. ichi my boy i cant wait to see you again

She celebrates not getting kicked or pushed by anyone... I feel like that's pretty telling of her being a very punished/tragic character. But she also disrespects Vulgora and fights them back, so she can’t be completely helpless. I personally adore the idea of Volta being like a mongoose - will destroy you given the chance (literally. Super potent digestive juices? corrosive saliva? Teeth that never seem to end when you look into her mouth? All checked in my book. I'm thinking Pennywise's mouth from “IT” remakes or a sea turtle's mouth)

And YEAH she could mess up Valdemar, controversial opinion ik. They just get sucked in like spaghetti and DIE knowing the “weakest” of the demons was a herald of their demise >:)

Vlastomil

Basically always snooty and prone to blaming others for everything wrong in his life. Even when he’s hyping about the study of invertebrates, he manages to shade you and be patronizing... At the same time though, he is very zesty. Fun conversation partner and the best associate if you manage to get in his good graces. I also hc him to have ambiguous genitalia, and YES if you cut him in half there will be two Vlastomils :) just like earthworms. Overall a lot of cool wormy features that people pick up on overtime. I feel like some will disagree but I always saw him as a “chaotic neutral” kind of char. Should be evil, yes. But he’s just too fun and lovable imo. Like a snarky professor you weirdly like and respect. He’s also a bottom on a mission. Get it peepaw.

DEVS. DID. VULGORA. DIRTY. And I, for one, love it. No matter how you look at their patron arcana - Vulgora is fucked. If it was always their patron, I don't blame them for making a pact with the devil. Trying to avoid great pain, upheaval and loss seems natural. They are the courtier I would want to get lore on THE MOST. I want to know how their life was before “the demoning” sooo bad. As for their disposition - fun. Frenemies with Lucio, threatens Valdemar, doesn't realize they’re always screaming... just a fun little dude (gnc). I mentioned before that I defo see them doing public beheadings, ancient rome style (they’re the leader of the guard, a high ranking noble... they probably are doing it and its legal). As I said. Fun.

Also they hold the highest score in the game of “push Volta off the stairs”. Valdemar comes in 2nd.

I honestly don't feel like I can do Val justice. That's all on @c0nsul-valerius. I will try tho! He’s always been torn between actually wanting to do good and upholding his own reputation/pride no matter the cost. The moment his rep is on the line, everything gets sidelined; relationships, acquaintances, morals. It’s delicious how he’s fleshed out in Nadia's route, just that one encounter, seeing how warped and disgusting he became, how ashamed of it all he is - i really want to see that vulnerability again, get to “crack him open” in a way and see how he would be when there's no obligations, work, or masks being put on for the public.

And while the apprentice is made to be OP in game, one would think an ancient demon, capable of raising cities, fallen armies and planning to challenge the devil would easily handle an inexperienced magician (and a redhead armed with a chair) but instead they always abscond. Sure, it could be them just going “LOL” and running off to irk people, but Lucio and Julian routes show them to be rattled by getting SLIGHTLY CHAFED. WIMPDEMAR REAL, DESERVES TO BE JOSTLED. [Osamu] has nothing to do at the start of the pandemic when Onigiri Miya closes temporarily other than meal prep for his spouse and wait for his S/O to come home and give him attention, so he starts a Youtube to curb his boredom.

I know that this is a BNHA blog but I’ve been getting into Haikyuu!! (even though I’m still kinda unfamiliar with it) and this came to me! I hope you guys enjoy! Also I know that Japan’s lockdown was more lenient but let’s ~ pretend. 

He’s legit just been laying at home thinking, “Damn... I have nothing to do.” 

Sure, he can meal prep or whatever, and he makes meals for you every day, but he’s already done with that, and there’s just so much time he can spend making cutesy bentos in fun animal shapes for you no matter how long he stretches the time out. 

He’s just been in bed. Chilling. Yearning. Waiting for you to come home. Wash. Rinse. Repeat. 

He’s not quite sure what inspires him to create a YT channel. He just has the time, he looks for recipes occasionally on there, and he has his camera phone so one day he’s just like why not? 

He’s not that big on mukbangs for some reason despite being a lover of food. 

I think his style of videos is either super calming like Jun’s Kitchen or casual like Imamu room. They’re straight to the point with very little talking, easy to watch. 

The most he talks is his introduction video which I imagine is chaotic for no apparent reason. It starts with him laying flat on his back on the kitchen counter staring up at the ceiling. He’s silent for ten whole seconds of the video and he’s so still that some people think the video’s lagging or just a still frame. Then he turns to the camera with a bored face and says, “I’m Miya Osamu, owner of Onigiri Miya. This is my Youtube channel. I make food.” Then the video ends.

When he first started Suna helped out by giving him editing tips. 

He occasionally makes super fancy recipes that he hasn’t tried before or ones that he really enjoys, and has a video on making the perfect onigiri where he lectures like a professor with a doctorate about the perfect rice to filling ratio. However, the most common videos and the ones that get the most likes are the ones that document the meal he makes for that day for his spouse. 

It’s titled something generic like, “Bento for my [husband/wife/spouse] #12″ 

BUT HE PUTS SO MUCH DEDICATION AND CARE INTO THE MEAL. 

That’s not just for show or for the camera. He did that years before he started the channel, but now that his efforts are in the public view the comments are all like: 

“Are you guys looking for a third member to join your relationship” 

“CAN YALL ADOPT ME” 

“👁👄👁 me watching the perfect man make meals every day for someone else”

If the commenters get too pushy and practically continuously demand to have you shown in his videos he just posts a video of him calmly eating plain rice while comments that are being mean and annoying are overlaid over the screen to the sound of the Mii theme. No one knows what it means but the comments stop. 

Okay but imagine that he sometimes puts his mistakes in. Like when he’s scooping rice into your bento box and he accidentally misses the lunch box completely and the rice just splats onto the countertop but he lets out that small snort laugh under his breath??? My heart: taken. 

He doesn’t blow up overnight, but he does get a good following pretty quickly, about 100k in the span in two or three months. 

After Onigiri Miya does open up again the daily videos stop, but he still posts food videos pretty regularly. Instead of one daily video for your lunch, he’ll post like, “Dinner with my spouse on [Day/Month]” occasionally or cram all of your weekly bento meals into one video. 

If he gets noticed in public or in his restaurant he’s still so new to this that when people ask to take pictures with him he’ll just dumbly go, “HUh?” and make a shocked face. 

Atsumu tries to tease him for it but he just shrugs and is like whatever. From the start all he wanted to do was make food for you. Whatever ✨clout✨ that he gets from it doesn’t really matter to him. 

It annoys his brother though because sometimes on the street they’ll be like “ARE YOU MIYA OSAMU’S BROTHER???” 

And Atsumu’s just, “YOU MEAN HE’S MIYA ATSUMU’S BROTHER” and tripping over the reverse uno that’s been played over his life. 

Guess what he does after he gets his first big chunk of AdSense money? You guessed right. He gives u a kiss on the forehead and goes, “We’re getting the fancy wagyu at the grocery store tonight, babe.”

Thoughts on Sonic Mania Adventure?

I dislike the lack of voices, but in a tom & jerry sort of way, it's still good.

Even without the hype of wondering where it's going it's still something I love re-watching. Tho the characters seem more like modern takes on them than the '90s which breaks my brain.

I could MAYBE see American '90s Sonic being hype for a real challenge, but Tails would NEVER facepalm Sonic doing this, like this is Sonic Colors levels of bullshit!

but that barely matters cuz the climax was so good (then again that's literally the first thing I think of rofl)

Otherwise I do like how Sonic & Tails are here, it's less of a big brother little brother relationship and more equals, I guess as if they're in their '40s cuz 1991 was 30 years ago or whatever aunno

Ray barely ever had characterization so I have no real opinion beyond "heh I like him!"

For the next few weeks, he will turn everything into a competition, whether it's who can eat their dinner the fastest, who does the best in training (assuming you're not a hashira), etc. You humour him for a bit, maybe even the first two weeks, but after a while, it just gets tiring and even Inosuke needs a break at some point. He'd probably end up stumbling across you painting//drawing after a long day of training at the Butterfly Estate, and would just kinda watch you for a minute. While it’s truly out of character for him to be stunned into silence, just watching you so at peace and makes him wonder how you’re able to switch between your social and robust self to. . . something like the quiet, tranquil ambiance you had about you then.

But once he snaps out of it, he'd march over to you and ask what you were doing, that kind of thing. When you explain that you're just drawing//painting, all your free will of drawing what you want to is over, you get no more of that. He is forcing you to draw him, no matter how much you protest, and after you're done, he's parading around and bragging to EVERYONE that you drew him. To be honest, he wouldn't stop talking about it for the next few days, and if he ever needs a boost in an argument with someone (Zenitsu), he's bringing it up.

"You can't just take my food!" Zenitsu cried, clearly agitated and distraught over the fact that Inosuke had taken over half his meal after he had polished everything else off. Tanjirou had gone off to give Nezuko some food, which had left you in charge of watching over the two to make sure they didn't wreck some ancient hashira heirloom that was left lying around, but not even five minutes after and they were already looking like they were about to start swinging at each other. Inosuke, who barely even looked up from the stolen food before continuing his fervent attempts to eat everything in sight, grunted a low chuckle, clearly only encouraged by the lightning-wielder.

"Why not? You left it sitting there, so I called it," He responded between vigorous bites, the entire scenario only making you watch in flickering bemusement, torn between whether you should intervene or let it continue on. Entertainment while you ate was never something you could complain about, and this was certainly better than any play you could go see; besides, nature had to work it's course somehow, right?

"Rex-chaaannn," Zenitsu whined, his voice instantly gaining a more sugary sweet tone, rather than the course, unchecked one he had used on the boar head just a few moments ago. "Tell Inosuke to give me back my food."

You bit your lip in an attempt to hold back laughter when the accused slayer shouted something from across the table, "Shut up, Monitsu!"

The clearly incorrect pronunciation of his name sent Zenitsu into a fit, shouting practically unintelligible things from how fast he was talking, looking as though he were about ready to jump across the table to try and fight him when you burst into laughter, unable to contain it any longer. Inosuke spared you a brief glance, but the somewhat proud smirk that took residence upon his features as he continued to eat wasn't something that you exactly missed but chose not to point it out.

"I don't think there's much for you to eat now anyways," You finally commented after recovering from your fit of laughter, heaving an amused sigh when Zenitsu let out a noise of dismay.

"You can't keep taking my food, you simpleton!"

"Yeah I can, they drew ME, not you, so that's just another reason that I'm better than you!"

It would just be a love hate relationship between you guys; while you have your playful fights (both verbal banter and physical), you'r always there to back the other up in combat and Inosuke appreciate the support in his own, odd little way. For whatever reason, though, he still feels like he has to prove that he's better than you and insists that he just lets you stick around to give you something to do. When really, it's probably just the other way around.

I get the feeling that you'd probably throw your arm around his shoulders after a successful fight and boast about how you two did more work than Tanjirou and Zenitsu (playfully, obviously). Whenever you do that, it fills him with so much pride and for a second it doesn't register in his head for the first time, like?? 'They're not challenging ME? The hell's this about?' before realizing what you're saying and it only makes him more egotistical. He'd put up a weak front and say something like "Lord Inosuke did most of the work, Krex!" (the incorrect name </3) but wouldn't say much against you aside from that.

When you guys start dating and he gets introduced to physical affection, he gets so confused by what the hell it all means, but secretly enjoys your hugs nevertheless. After the two of you confessed, he would definitely brag about it and hold it over everyone's heads, like he did with the drawing, and it's just beyond humorous at that point.

Inosuke would 100% finally get your name right, and whenever anyone complains that he gets yours and not theirs, his knee-jerk reaction is always to respond with; "Yeah, 'cause they're important". Would cause endless conflict among people, but it's worth it seeing him be so stupid, insulting and caring all at the same time.

He carries you around a lot, especially enjoys giving you piggyback rides or parading around the Butterfly Estate with you hefted up on his shoulders, announcing to everyone that the two of you are "coming through". He will probably show you off a lot, because he just finds you to be such a great person and wants everyone to know that you exist and will be sure that no one cuts you off when you speak!!

He teaches you his breathing technique, change my mind.

As far as your ideal dates go, you're probably the only person who would be able to get him to sit still long enough for that kind of thing, let alone ENJOY it, but he's willing to do whatever makes you happy. (Don't be discouraged by however begrudgingly he may act when following after you to go to them, he's hyped to get to spend time with you) While he has his different ideas of fun, you always manage to persuade him to do that kind of stuff with him, and he'll almost always agree.

A/N: I hope you enjoyed, this was super fun to write, and I definitely laughed quite a bit when writing it! I'm so sorry if this took a long time, I have six weeks exams, so I was busy studying, but I should be getting to these super soon. - geoff: he's super proud of you no matter what, and gets rlly excited when you accomplish things. youre learning to ride a bike and he's hyping you up, running behind you with his go pro

- trent: he's super gentle and rlly understanding, always picking you up when you fall down. dont forget about the songs he sings you when youre having trouble sleeping

- duncan: he's a hot mess but he loves you. he's always 15 minutes late to all of your award's assemblies but still managed to bring you your favorite lunch

dudeee, that whole ace race ordeal was so scuffed. like, scott also told his team where to go so he mustve known it was confusing to some degree for players seeing the map for the first time??? obviously no hate to him but man it was a severe oversight letting him playtest :(

yeah and like :( its a lighthearted competition at the end of the day & i don’t hate anyone for this at all but watching the competitors feel so helpless at some points because of all the changes they weren’t clued into was somewhat. demoralizing? like if the point of a competition is to have fun, isn’t it more fun if the contestants know what to expect and can complete the challenges no matter their placing and feel good about it? like in the heat of the moment etc trying over and over again to complete a challenge only to fail miserably and not be able to do it until the time runs out? thats just kinda sad :( and tbh im talking about tgttosawaf more so than ace race for that because there were so many people who didn’t finish at least half the stages. ik it wasn’t maliciously intended to turn out this way, but i think the whole ‘keep big major changes to the games a secret’ from the contestants was kind of a flawed concept!! hopefully we see that change in upcoming mccs tho, ultimately this was the first mcc in the new season and things were bound to be more “flawed” than usual. i think it’s important to stay positive and appreciative but especially as a first time live mcc watcher who was super hyped for this talking through certain emotions i felt watching the event helps me work through them and be more amicable about future mccs :)
