You know what Gaiden is doing that I didn't expect, but am absolutely loving?

It's the closest we get to having Kiryu really thrive when he's in charge. There's tastes of what he could've been like as a chairman.

Once he's let 'off lead' so to speak, he's large and in charge In certain moments. Especially once he's commanding Tsuruno and Shishido. And it is tasty af.

Kiryu: She's a nice boat. Would be such a shame if the cops got it.

funny as hell that all the while ichi and arakawa are having their mini reunion moment at the omi hq kiryu and co are fighting for their lives outside. guaranteed if they let the cutscene play a little longer we would've heard yelling and screaming and shishido being thrown through the window

again . lots of focus on differentiating him & daigo. adding more colors n shit helps
