A transgender man was held, tortured for MONTHS, assaulted, murdered and dumped in a field in the state of New York. The suspects are being held and charged with SECOND DEGREE MURDER (aka intentional but not premeditated.) As someone who lives in the North Eastern US I am disgusted by the depravity of this crime. The motive has not been identified and a hate crime has not been ruled out, but the justice system is historically not favorable of transgender individuals and it is possible that justice will not be served. Do what you can, tell someone about this case. Say his name: Sam Nordquist.

Transgender people: please stay safe, do what you need to do to be safe, carry weapons, be aware of your surroundings, and always tell someone where you are.

Hey if you live in WV, our state has filed 17 anti trans bills as of February 14th, 2025. Several of them are repeated bills that didn't get passed last year, and several of them are new.

In fact 46/50 states have filed some form of Antitrans law in this legislative session so far.

Now bills being filed doesn't inherently mean they will be passed. In fact only a fraction of the introduced anti trans bills actually get signed into law. It is devastating when it happens. It's not rare for it to happen, but it's unlikely that all of them will pass in your state if any are filed there at all right now.

LGBTQ+ History Month! - Marsha P. Johnson

It's LGBTQ+ History Month! So lets celebrate by looking at some more historic figures who were part of the LGBTQ+ community! Starting off this month with Marsha P. Johnson! She was an icon, known for her activism in gay rights, particularly on the exclusion of black and trans folk as well as homelessness within the LGBTQ+ community.

But despite her unwavering kindness and the recognition she received for her work in social justice - a lot of which has come after her death - she experienced immense hardship, abuse, discrimination throughout her life and uncertainty surrounding her death. She deserved better. Trans people deserve better.

I made this blog as a journal to express my thoughts about my gender and things related to it. Recently, I have been dealing with a lot of confusion in regarding the topic. Originally, I was going to leave this for my own personal journal; however, I figured putting in out there in some fashion could help others going through similar.
