I promise you people are talking about whatever you got on your high horse about. Just because you didn't see it on your dash doesn't mean that literally no one knows but you. It just means either a) the people you follow are not talking/reblogging about it, or more likely b) people you follow have posted about it but it hasn't been at a time where you were scrolling tumblr dot com.

I will literally see someone's "none of you care about X apparently so I'm gonna learn you a thing" rant right before a myriad of posts talking about X!! People talk about and do things about and care about shit outside of your field of vision! Wild!

I'm so sick of seeing shit like this about things i have seen dozens of 100k+ note posts about. Enough acting like you're the only person who cares! You aren't! Blogging/reblogging on tumblr is only activism in very few cases (eg. fundraisers in a masterwork)! Starting your posts like you want special little star stickers in your planner this week is not one of them! All it does is show you view important, often horrific, events as an opportunity to gain Good Politics points.

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT????
