#spn #vid #mind the warnings on this one for real #woe! fruit of my rewatch be upon ye.#pallas calls this my 'deangirl coming out vid' which honestly. true. but those who paid attention know i've always been a deangirl.#also. after this no more deanwinchester rilo kiley amvs I Pwomise #anyway. i'm not gonna give a full commentary here but a big reason why i chose this song is that the narrator #is essentially dismissing her own problems and instead watching the problems of someone else #and i kind of wanted to play with that theme. this is the parallels show so let's do some parallels. lots of things happen to characters #that are Like Dean somehow. either in personality or circumstance. that we know or can infer happen to him. but we don't see it bc it's #not sayable. not speakable. so like for an easy one. we see meg being tortured in caged heat. she also talks about apprenticing under #alastair just like dean. so i show her being tortured [in a way that is sexualized and demon-specific] and reacting how she does #because i invite the audience to imagine or interpret that this has also happened to dean at some point. we just don't see it #so there are many dean parallels in this video. some obvious. some subtle but textual. some products of my twisted mind. but that's the way #i am using them to make my argument.#oh also: dean voice sam's eyes going black is JUST like when he used to fight with dad and wouldn't listen to me when i told him not to.#i guess also the point is that because it's unsayable. dean can't say it. dean can't even acknowledge it. and so it bleeds through #into everything in his life #that's why it's important that the song narrator doesn't take her own problems seriously. dean doesn't either.

#She's so cute <3 #WPP #Portal #Ellen McLain #If you haven't played through the audio commentary I would Absolutely recommend it it is So fun #I clicked out of curiosity - kind of just expecting like a movie's audio commentary y'know? Like a video that highlighted specific scenes #No it's just the whole game again but with trivia pop-ups! I love that!!#It reminded me so much of like trivia track or the pop up fun facts from special editions of movies I would watch as a kid #But you can play through them!! You have to click on them and they spin! I love that!!!#I always love hearing the design and development process - fascinating how the playtesters reacted to this new game!#We take it for granted now but yeah I imagine it would've been very confusing at the time #And I was like ''Well it was such a small team and Ms. McLain was such a large part of it - surely she'll have a few bubbles?''#She does lol - as soon as I got to her first one (it was a slow burn! They buried the lead with her lol I'm already invested!) I have a gift for y'all today !!! 😊 Ever wanted to find a line in Re:Kinder in a single place for the sake of reference?? How about multiple chunks of lines. how about all the little variations that arise in the text with it's many endings, item descriptions, text that comes from interacting with the enviroment, and character info from the menu without having to boot up the game and go through it at long minutes!!???

well i sure did😊 Since I do a lot of fanart and think up my own silly theories and thoughts that need me to reference the game lines a lot, i have made a transcript for it for convenience's sake. A weirdly thorough transcript handwritten and proofread by me including all character lines available in-game. And I'm sharing it with you all today for anyone that wants it !!! :3 To use as a reference for creative fanworks or a quick search for a line in-game, whatever you wish to use it for!!

It uses the english translation of the game by vgperson. So naturally all credit for the game lines available in here is to her and Parun who made the game.

I did my best to organize it in a way easy to digest. Do note that I'm still human, and there's still the chance for mistake in it no matter how much I've proofread it, since I'm not even an english native speaker ^^. But I hope it serves you well nonetheless if you wish to use it.

That's my gift for today!!! Not the usual art, but still a project I'm proud of. Enjoy!!! 😊

oh that's a good question. I confess I've not been nearly as brave about fanfic as most folks have, especially where angst is concerned - I don't know if anyone's written that, but if any of my followers or anyone on the tag does, maybe they could drop a reply here for you?

(there is an Ao3 tag for the big bang job episode which might help you some, but obviously not everything will be tagged, not everything will be on Ao3, and my brain started fizzing on the first page so I'll have to leave that to others.)

if i am in fact autistic the reason it has flown under the radar and i have been relatively successful at communication is because my mom read me sunday morning cartoons as bedtime stories and i got to hear one million observational jokes and go "why did they say that." "yes i understood your turn of phrase. I vividly remember reading it in the Far Side when i was six because it made no fucking sense. and then my mom looked up the origin for me so now i can go backwards and translate it." or maybe this is totally typical processing. so curious is this world

Ah yes the combine thing to weapon mechanic, I foresee many shenanigans in our future. Now where can I find a steak?

They brought back keys?!! This should not make me this giddy, but nostalgia is a go.

I do really like the news shrines design. They are similar enough to feel like they belong in the same world as the previous game’s shrines, but also look just new enough to stand apart. And I really like the way it opens up and closes the spore granting statue. Although I’m less clear on who is actually doing the dispensing here.

Our new ghost buddy really does love to follow us around, doesn’t he? Did he and Rhoam swap notes by any chance? “Ah yes, pop up right when they have their back turned for extra effect. See if you can make Link do an actual facial expression for once.” “Ohohoho good one. Shall I wax poetically about days gone by as well?” “Yes, by all means.
