people who complain about people singing at concerts are so annoying if you only want to listen to the artists thats what listening at music at home is for. concerts are a social experience you go there to be with other people who like the music as much as you do, you dont get to stop them enjoying it because you dont know what a concert is

again and again i find myself lamenting that audio roleplay isn't taken more seriously by some people. like yeah, they often have a romantic element, and by nature they usually directly involve/address the listener- and i totally get that those things aren't to everyone's taste. no art or entertainment is universally appealing, and that's okay! but.. it still makes me a lil sad that the "cringe" reputation of asmr/audio rp precedes it. there's a whole lot of talent and creativity being poured into these audios by so many people that i feel goes unrecognized and/or disrespected simply due to the medium that the stories are being told through.

Kinda weird but this is still like one of my fave things I've ever drawn lol, it's just a background study from Shawn James' cover of Arkansas by Damien Jurado (there was a character here too once iykyk lol) but I was Going Through It at the time and painting this was soooo cathartic

I think I've come to the realization that almost all the KK songs are good enough that if you pair them with almost any other KK song someone will say something like "this shouldn't be a round 1 match up" SO all the more reason to do double elimination for them. genuinely I have no idea which song is gonna get worst song because very few have gotten any negative comments worse than "this song is overrated" or "I don't like this song but I get why it's popular"
so yeah if your favourite songs are losing and you didn't see me say this already, they need to lose twice to get eliminated
#the villagers were very obviously on a bell curve with most of them being decently cute. a normal acceptable level of cute#with a few dozen outliers on either end#whereas the bell curve for KK songs seems to lean very heavily towards the good side with only a few okay and bad songs#even the ones that are sweeping a lot of the comments are people struggling to choose#like for those it often seems like most people like both but most just barely all prefer the same one
