tagging is a courtesy. I've said this many times before but it bears repeating because I keep seeing nonsense takes on this while it really is so simple. authors do not have to tag beyond 'creator chose not to use archive warnings'. if someone has triggers and/or squicks, then fics tagged as such are simply not for them. that's fine! not everything has to be for everyone!! authors not tagging clearly do that accepting that fewer people will read their fics! but that's still their prerogative. 'creator chose not to use archive warnings' or only the main ao3 warnings are proper, sufficient tagging.

and like, personally i tend to tag beyond that. personally, i appreciate when other authors do. it's a great practice. i love tags. but they are not something that is owed and we really need to get off this weird take that it is. it's not, and it's reader's responsibility to assess if they want to take the risk of reading something untagged, and to curate their online experience. and yes, this includes simply not reading things if you are unsure about its contents even at the risk of missing out sometimes.

Book Fiyero: *immediately recognizes Elphaba and stations himself at the backdoor to prevent her from evading him, stalks her halfway across town to her aerie (even though at that point in time she was only a college friend he hadn’t seen in five years), insists on seeing her again, instinctively goes to comfort her when she first cries, gets sucked into increasingly deep and fraught conversations with her about collateral damage and freedom fighter terrorism, calls her the “most individual, the most separate, the most real” DURING AN ARGUMENT, says he adores Elphaba’s looks IN THAT SAME ARGUMENT, doesn’t understand Elphaba’s “being born with a talent or an inclination for goodness is the aberration” comment because (implied) he sincerely believes Elphaba isn’t evil, changes his mind about the plight of the Animals all by himself but doesn’t mention it to Elphaba because he is afraid she would distance himself from him, buys scarves for both his wife and Elphaba even though only Elphaba likes scarves, is so concerned for Elphaba and her dangerous Lurlinemas Eve mission that he stalks her instead of staying at his club or just leaving town altogether, and is so worried about her that he returns to the aerie just to see her*

Would it be a bit ironic or adorable if Anthea sang 'You'll Be in My Heart' from the Tarzan movie to Aym and Baal when they were dealing with nightmares to help them sleep?

But in all seriousness I've actually thought about Anthea singing to the boys! I kinda like the idea of them singing 'Edelweiss' from The Sound of Music to lull them to sleep-my own mother loved the film when I was little, and back when she would still sing to my sister and I while kissing us goodnight it was always 'Edelweiss'.

As Anthea and Narinder work on their relationship they take turns who sits in bed with the kits and who pulls up a chair-neither can leave really without risk of one of the boys waking up looking for them only to be gone, so for those first few weeks neither get much sleep. They take turns keeping watch-that way someone can hopefully catch nightmares before they fester, or at least be there if it's their name called. It drains them both a LOT, but hey they're parents-a little sleep loss is nothing when it's your kids.

I love three houses discourse because I'm pretty sure everyone just picks their route based on which house leader they're the most gay for and then tries to defend their pick by pointing out the other sides's war crimes via twitter memes. Reader, all four of them do substantial quantities of war crimes. So many. I know Jean’s life is already tragic enough, but I can’t stop thinking that he could have had/currently have physical symptoms from anxiety. I don’t know, I can imagine him taking a shower and some of his hair falling out, having muscle tensions/back pain, or dealing with chest tightness that lasts the whole day.

It’s honestly a lot, but considering he probably had prolonged levels of high anxiety when he was at the nest, it isn’t that far out of the question.

What I also really find great about Reigen is how he's often so funny and eccentric yet equally capable of being serious, emotional, and, well, capable. I think that's what makes him chasing Mob hit so much harder; the jokes, weird expressions, exaggerated reactions, and traits so specifically "Reigen" are gone. It's just a mostly-average guy you wouldn't pay mind to in a crowd moving with nothing more than pure care and desperation. Well up until Mob calms down and there's that little "weooo" sound when Reigen's nose runs but I like that part lol.

Ok while I was writing this I thought. Mob is meant to someone who blends into a crowd, hence the nickname, and unremarkable on his exterior. Meanwhile Reigen seems infinitely capable and remarkable until you discover upon getting to know him he's pretty much an everyman. The parallels the opposites how silly of them to be like that I want to see more of them doing that synchronized judging thing they do sometimes.

You're still engaging in media that is directed to a younger demographic. If you're an older member of the community please think about who is going to see these posts. Not everyone in the community is going to be interested in seeing that kind of stuff. And considering the fact that there are still plenty of younger community members here, I think you should be more mindful about what you post about these characters out in the open.
