this was a lot of fun to try! interestingly the 2nd one (back cover) took longer to make than the 1st (front cover), though i also made it first so there was some getting used to things there. but like the posing was much slower, esp considering i just have the physgun, no fancy addons for that stuff, and some of those models are really tough for that - especially that unarmoured combine, its bones are fucked up

i think there are some refinements i could make with enough time, especially on the 1st, but i'm satisfied with the results, especially considering this is my first time doing any kind of visual work or kitbashing in gmod in years, and the first time it was more than just messing around. i stayed up til 2am last night to make em LOL

either way i definitely wanna do this kinda stuff more often. gmod could especially be really good for setting up art references for poses and backgrounds and stuff :D

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard's song "Witchcraft" is very funny to me because every verse describes a spooky thing that the witches are doing, and then ends with "Witchcraft!"

So upon one sable morn When the moon does wane and die A ragged coven convenes Performing incantations nigh Witchcraft! Taxidermy with eyes of fire Chanting songs above the lyre Miasma of hair and bile Hangs heavy with the mother's ire Witchcraft! As if to remind you that, in case you forgot, all of this spooky stuff is being done by witches

They did some chants and incantations (they're witches), then they sacrificed a goat (because they're witches), there was lots of hair and blood and stuff (they're spooky witches), also there's candles and stuff (the witches are casting a spell), then they burned a bible (did I mention they're spooky witches)

This isn't in any way a criticism I just think it's funny

wonder if anyone thought about this (also literally can't tell which design of the Gila Monster is suppose to be "canon". As in like, first you got the one on the album cover, then you get two DIFFERENT ones in the music videos. So tried just keeping it to the album cover + lyrics ig, tho also *kinda* the videos but afdfsfjdsgdsjfk )

ok i'm not really sure if this counts as a sea shanty. it's whatever you get when a prog/thrash metal track has a risky one-night-stand with a mandolin and a tinwhistle. there's tapdancing as well (shoutout to my girlfriend's boyfriend Gab!!!) hope yall enjoy!!
