KGLW album redraw for a contest Prompt was a drawing based on a favorite album cover. I was gonna do Humanoid by Babirusa but if you've ever seen that cover I think it would make sense why I wouldn't be able to do that by the week deadline

boar skull is a nod to Babirusa anyways and also one of my ocs

Infest the rats nest is my favourite kglw album, cause it has some cool world building aspect to it, but one of most important things is you can literally hear the emotion behind it, the anger in riffs, on vocals, everywhere. Also I'm a big sucker for thrash metal and bands that aren't usually considered metal doing some metal stuff

Chili Chow Mein Rats’ Nests

¾ cup semi-sweet or other chocolate chips

1 heaping cup chow mein noodles

¼ tsp ground cayenne

Orange marmalade

Candy skulls

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, microwave chocolate chips in 15 second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Stir in cayenne pepper, then chow mein noodles- turning them until fully coated. Place large tablespoonfuls roughly 1 inch apart on the parchment paper, making a small divet in the center of each.

Place in the freezer for 15-20 minutes or until solid. Top each with a dollop of orange marmalade and a candy skull, then serve.

sometimes, while listening to infest the rats nest, many songs on this album seem a bit like metallica, kill em all, to me, especially some of stu's vocals. but I still dont have much to elaborate (actually have to go back to listening to more metallica, its been like >ages<
