Random people with wrong opinions: "Harry wasn't abused by the Dursleys" (bonus points for 'just neglected', which is a type of child abuse btw or 'that's all fanon')

Things that the Dursleys canonically did that are abuse just off the top of my head:

Swung a frying pan at his head (at the age of 12)

Grabbed him by the neck and basically tried to strangle him (even light pressure to the neck can cause internal damage)

Starved him

Verbally abused him

Locked him alone in a small cramped space as punishment (which can cause permanent psychological damage btw, and that's in adults. It is literally a type of torture.)

Made him sleep in that same small cramped unhealthy space when they had an extra bedroom

Encouraged their son to bully him and beat him up

Left him to be possibly attacked by a vicious dog

Bonus: Hid the evidence of his existence to outsiders and didn't speak about him to others (a typical thing for abusers to do)

And more. That boy is unrealistically well-adjusted.

I know the shitty guardian trope is so common in British children's lit (think Roald Dahl) that it became normalized, but it's not. It's abuse. I am worried for the children in your lives tbh.

Honestly? Given canon, I think this little guy needs first and foremost to feel respected by his partner, the assurance that he is seen as an equal despite his background and baggage.

I'll also say that he'd need to trust them, and while trust is a staple of any relationship, in JGY's case, the fact that he is aware of the things he had to do throughout his life, feeling like he is not going to be accepted by his partner would already nulify the first requirement of respect.

Can't feel respected when he is convinced that his partner is going to think less of him, or even stop loving him if they were to know everything about him. So even subconsciously he is working on the assumption that he isn't an equal to his partner if he feels like he cannot share this part of him with them.

So the perfect romantic partner for him, in my opinion, would have to be a person that not only treats him like he isn't either inferior or superior, but that can also show enough open-mindness and... let's call it grayness of morality for him to feel like he is going to be understood if/when he opens up about the less flattering side of him.

Also validation. It's very important that he is told that he is, in fact, a good boy on a regular basis :')

About Macaque's death- it's been raised that in the flashback, we can see what looks like a battlefield around him. Some have even spectacled that the mountain Macaque brings MK to in his debut episode is the same battlefield.

I think your thought that there was two battles between Macaque and Wukong, if Wukong did kill Macaque (I believe he didn't), is correct. However, Wukong spared Macaque the first time, probably bc Macaque hadn't done anything too bad to the pilgrims. The second, he didn't...

Because Macaque succeeded in killing the pilgrims.

I'm going to talk about his actions in reference to a "someone" instead of "you" because it'd feel mean to address Ambroys' douchebag behavior to a "you."

I'd say context matters more to if he'd grant a kiss to an asker than how curvy and/or hot someone is, really. His own attraction and the person themself would matter less to him than the reaction he'll get from others.

If he were alone and in a generous or lonely sort of mood, then sure, why not. It's an easy way to get a hit of positive attention. If he felt the asker would be more liable to do him more favors if he held out, then he'd tease a kiss, but say maybe later. If he were alone but low on patience and out of fucks, and he didn't feel like putting effort into even a seconds-long performance of romance, he would give little more than a sneer.

If an old flame of his were around, then he would grant a kiss to someone else in her view, to make her angry and jealous. If a new flame of his was there instead, he'd mock the asker to his current elbow ornament, to make her appreciate his fidelity to their relationship (that probably won't last more than a month anyway, but still).

If he were in higher company, the sort of high-status serious-minded men and women his father reluctantly introduces him to, he might just have the good sense to brush someone like that off with a scoff and a smirking joke at their expense. Or he might do it anyway to get his father's attention for a minute or two.

If he's in the company of a bunch of braying lads, he might lean in for a kiss then dunk the poor soul at the last minute to get a laugh from his bros. There's nothing funnier than someone who thinks they're in his league, right fellas?

Any way it panned out, kiss or no kiss, he probably wouldn't remember who the asker was ten minutes later. After all, does an actor remember an individual person in the crowd of a performance? Nah - they just remember the applause.
