Dear Thunderstomm

 Ok, this is a long shot, but hear me out because, i have this interesting AU Idea. OK there is this mixed-reality Hot wheels game called Hot Wheels Rift Rally. so, i was thinking what if you make HWLR AU revolving around it, like from the time the racers uncovered rift energy and unlocking new cars and powers to taking on new challenges, heck, why not introduce some new heroes and villains (just a random thought that popped up)

I personally haven’t played Rift Rally (even if I wanted to, I couldn’t, the game & required equipment is only available and certified for use in the United States, and I do not live there), but it seems like a fun game!

I certainly think an AU or story using elements from the game could work! The “Chameleon” car (required to play the game) could potentially have the ability to “transform” into other cars using rift energy- both from the Ultimate Garage’s existing selection, and into other cars from the brand not featured within the series- for advantages within a race, or in combat against monsters and villains. The mixed-reality aspect could also be included, with unique obstacles or threats appearing only to those driving the Chameleon.

I have two questions. 1.We all know Mac is afraid of the dark right? Would he have a nightlight and would it annoy some campers? Like would they just wish for darkness so they could sleep?

2. How do the campers decorate their bunk? Would they add more pillows? Stickers on the bunk bed frames?

1. Mac’s duck night-light appears first in “Scream Machines” (s1 e2A), and is the direct inspiration for the creation of the Glow Racers later during the season. None of the other campers seemed to acknowledge the light before Mac brings it up, so I’d say they’re not annoyed by it, or that the glow isn’t actually all that bright.

2. As for the Crash Pad, or the bunks, being decorated? In terms of the show alone, I don’t recall the place having much personalisation outside of the previously mentioned light- unless you count trashing the place. That, and the party set-up from “Party Pit Stop” (s3 e3A). Considering that, throughout the series run, the Ultimate Garage, and the stuff within it, isn’t their property, stuff like stickers and decals are probably out of the question. That, and the fact that initially their plans to stay there were temporary, with their residence only being made permanent at the series’ end. In terms of them re-decorating post-series to better match their tastes, I could see that being the possibility, but I also don’t think that they would all continue to stay in the singular dorm for too long, with the Ultimate Garage being renovated to be bigger, to accommodate for more people living there full-time, as well as new technologies and vehicles.
