What is it with the sims community and accusing people of copying others? They’re so quick to jump on it if they think you’ve copied someone, without even knowing wtf they’re talking about. I’ve seen someone lose their spark completely and practically disappear from the internet because a group bullied them out of the community with unfounded accusations.

I’ve been in the position of seeing other people build things that were extremely similar to my builds. I’ve seen people grow their followings after they started building builds like mine, or start save files like mine. And yet, I’ve never bullied them or even mentioned anything about it to them or to anyone else. As creatives, we often take inspiration from other peoples creations. We create our own versions of those things that inspired us, and it evolves into other things…and from there it becomes something new that inspires someone else and so on.

There’s nothing wrong with getting inspired by someone and building your own style from that.

And when it comes specifically to sims builds, or any sims creations, most creators are making replicas of real life things. Most builders I’ve seen are recreating real life builds in their games using references from Pinterest or Google maps or real estate sites. So a lot of times you’re going to see builders building the same things you n different styles lol

Stop trying to witch hunt about this kinda stuff. It’s not that serious.

Tianshi / Xian (TS4 Creator) Masterpost

This post is to keep a record of tianshi/xian, a sims 4 creator with a history of years long harassment of others. The primary reason for his harassment is due to others blocking or banning him from their space for his creepy behavior. He changes usernames very often in order to keep others from blocking him, so check under the cut for the latest usernames. This post will be continually edited as I have time to add to it.

harassing anyone that calls him out or even silently bans him

harassing daniigh0ul & the occult baby server members for banning him for this behavior, falsely accusing them of being homophobic

encouraging others to harass people on his behalf

refusing to respect the boundaries of others (blocks/bans)

putting another minor sim (15 y/o) in a suggestive pose

lurking in a server and admitting to bringing up himself to get others to talk about him, in order to create a false narrative of bullying

defending the ad of a hentai sex game in which a middle school-age child was posed suggestively, by saying he knew someone in real life that was seen as a child for being flat-chested

antiblackness: engaging in a conversation where a black person's race was being discussed & being called a slur

transphobia: being angry at people for mistaking his cis "femboy" characters as trans women

transphobia: making a poll to determine whether to make one of his cis "femboy" characters trans for the sole purpose of breeding kink, after the anger re: trans women

cc related: stealing meshes from multiple creators from sims and second life to paywall/claim as his own

cc related: taking money for commissions then ghosting

Summer Break !!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to drop a quick note to let you know that I’ll be taking a long break this summer. I’ve been quite busy lately — especially with my internship — and I feel like it’s time to slow down and recharge a bit.

I’m also really looking forward to playing other Sims games (like sims 3 or 2 ) and diving into some other games I’ve had on my list for a while.

This doesn��t mean I’m quitting CC creation! I still love making custom content and plan to come back when I feel refreshed and inspired <3

mini tutorial: reducing polycount in Blender with selective dissolve

Hey simblr, I threw together a short tutorial thing on how I manually reduce meshes in Blender. I'm not a fan of the Decimate modifier and avoid it as much as possible. I wrote this with Blender 3.0 in mind. It probably also applies to earlier versions but I don't know if the shortcuts/keybindings are the same.

Make sure to only dissolve edges that aren't contributing to the overall shape/silhouette of the mesh.

Here's another approach to selecting and dissolving edges.

Here's the same cube reduced manually and by modifier.

Why you always put a black sim with purple colors in all the previews?

That sim is part of me, I mean it's a "simself" (it's not exactly like me in real life but .. it´s just..sims ? :3) I always put it with my ocs in my previews because I love what I do :3 also the purple tones I'm someone fanatic about purple tones
