Neil grinned as he handed Todd's poem back to him. "You're really good at writing. So good. I like a person like that."

Todd's eyes twinkled. "Yeah?" he asked, hopefully.

Neil nodded. "You know, if you were a girl, I'd marry you," he said casually. "Because we get along well, encourage each other to keep going, and we could save money by doing that."

Todd stared at him. Neil brought up the "if you were a girl" a lot, but Todd always thought to himself, "You don't need to be a girl. I love you as a boy." But he knew he couldn't say that.

Instead, Todd just scoffed and said that Neil would have to do the cooking and laundry. Todd offered to clean the house and do dishes, so it evened out.

If you were a girl, I would marry you. Those words always played in his head.

But now, as he clawed at the dirt of Neil's grave, only one sentence echoed back- a reply to what Neil had said months before: If you were alive, I'd marry you.

Just this entire scene, trying to be there for Todd while he’s grieving. Charlie saying “leave him be” is making me want to jump out of a window. Also, when Todd says “It’s so beautiful” idk why but I feel like he’s talking abt Neil OR he’s prob getting flash backs to that one deleted scene. I’m prob just being stupid tho.

anderperry headcanons cause the brainrot is real

their first kiss happened in their dorm late at night when Neil was gushing about acting and he was super happy and they were both really in the moment, and Todd just kissed him interrupting his talking, they were both kind of surprised and Neil gave an awkward laugh and said smiling “why did you do that?” And then Todd said “I don’t know” and then they kissed again, that time more passionate, and then they cuddled to sleep <3

Keating knew they liked each other, it was clear there was something more between them

if Neil can’t sleep, Todd recites poetry and it always helps

One time when Todd was talking about poetry, Neil said to him “you’re really passionate, you know that? I know you don’t always show it but I really like that about you”

For Christmas, Neil gave Todd a Walt Whitman book and in it he wrote “To my favourite poet” and Todd’s Christmas present to Neil was a book about the history of theatre and in it he wrote “To my puck”
