'K so I'll probably not post a new chapter of Great, now the apocalypse today. I know, I know... but trust me, I tried to make it work! It's just that I'm still on vacation and my schedule is all over the map - but I promise, I'll post the chapter before next Thursday!
On that note, remember how last 'hate sex Thursday' as so nicely dabbed by @neil-perrys-suicidal-tendencies was not very ehm explicit?? Yeah, we're going full explicit - mature content this chapter! I'll put a warning in the opening notes of course, but I thought I should let you know early on!

saw a post somewhere on here about steve breaking jonathan's camera and everyone—EVERYONE—was saying steve overreacted?! that it was shitty of him!?!?? that he was wrong to do so?
look i'm a steve girl through and through (although jonathan is a great character too don't get me wrong). but if i were steve and found out jonathan was taking photos of my girlfriend undressing through my bedroom window i would have broken jonathan's 1) camera 2) nose and 3) face in that order.

sneak peek;
This was a mistake.
This was political suicide.
A public scandal waiting to happen. After what he’d endorsed this morning, being here – being with Meeks – wasn’t just dangerous. It was betrayal. It was weakness.
This was –
Inevitable.
Meeks pulled to the side, and Pitts walked inside without saying a word. The High Warlock sauntered over to his couch, dropping down on it with the kind of grace Pitts could only dream off. His robe fell open, to reveal a faded black tee, slightly hitched to expose a sliver of soft stomach above worn sweats.
He didn’t sit, choosing to lean against the back of an armchair instead. The orange tubby, tangling between Meeks’ feet, let a loud meow in greeting, before turning his butt on him with theatrical insult.
“I’m not proud of that vote,” Pitts said after a while, surprising even himself.
Meeks didn’t even blink. “I didn’t ask you if you were,” he shot back, taking a sip of his drink.
“Because you don’t care?” Pitts asked, a challenge lurking in his tone.
“Because it doesn’t matter,” Meeks replied smoothly.

so.. I have been following you for some time now and I have read all your fanfics. I just wanted to say thank you because you are genuinely an amazing writer and you’re feeding us Knox x Charlie shippers with your incredible talent and ideas. You have immensely inspired me to (maybe) potentially write my own and I just wanted to say that I appreciate all you’ve done for the fandom. Keep doing what you’re doing because it’s great!! (P.S. I hope you are doing well)
Oh my lord that's so nice and cute??? Thank you!! I'm not sure I deserve all the nice words, but I appreciate them so much!!! I'm glad you're enjoying my stories and I feel so honored to be thought of as an inspiration!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
(I'm doing great, I'm on vacation 😎! I hope you're doing fine as well!)

Ooh thanks for the tag!! I don't usually do this tag games, cuz I'm lame like that but I thought I should give this a try!
1. How many works on ao3?
13 and counting!
2. Total ao3 word count?
472,077 which seems soooo excessive to me when I only have 13 stories.... but like, most of them are military chapters, and I do tend to yap a lot.
3. Top 5 fics by kudos?
Okay, let's see... soo, the first one by a lot is Love Is In The Air (But not for us...right?), followed by A lie in December. Then, and this is surprising to me considering the fandom, it's my smut-fic, Minuto per minuto. Fourth is one of my current wips, Great, now the apocalypse and fifth is The woes of fake dating.
4. What fandoms do you write for?
Primarily I write for Dead Poets Society and I get to brag about it cuz all of my stories in this fandom are finished, unlike my works in other fandoms.
I used to write a lot about Big Time Rush, which I don't want to talk about.
I have two unfinished works about Elite, and one finished work for the Order and one for High School Musical; the musical, the series. Oh l, I also used to write for Charmed!
5. Do you respond to comments?
Of course I do! I live interacting with my readers and getting to know them better! I try to respond to all of them on time too. I only don't write anything back when they just key smash or like write something along the lines, oh I've waited so long for this to happen.
6. Angstiest ending?
I don't really do angsty endings. I mean my stories are usually very, very angsty so I try to give them a happy ending. That being said the angstiest would have to be Love, Allegedly .
7. Fic with happiest ending?
All of them, apart from Love, Allegedly.
8. Do you get hate?
Thank the Angel, no! I did get a spam review at some point, but it was too obvious it was fake so I didn't care too much about it.
9. Do you write smut?
I do, yes. It tends to not be very explicit, most of the times, because I spend most of the time working on the tension between the characters than naming body parts, but yes, I write smut. And I enjoy writing it too.
10. Do you write crossovers?
Yep, yep, yep. I do. And I love them! My current WIP, Great, now the apocalypse, is set in the Shadowhunters Chronicles word. My second most liked work, A lie in December is not exactly a crossover but a retelling of While you were sleeping, which is my favourite Christmas movie (the sheer bi panic from all the flirty moments between Sandra Bullock and Bill Pullman agshsjskkqkdjrkslka)
11. Ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I know of.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
No but I would love to! I think it's so awesome and also very flattering when someone wants to translate your works! I would definitely translate them myself in my native language (greek) of there was any sort of demand for it.
13. Have you ever cowritten a fic?
Not yet, but there are ... things at work! Keep an eye out!
14. All time favorite ship?
Oh, where to start?? I guess Pacey/Joey shaped me to be the person I am today and so they're my OTP as we used to say. And then all of their variants, which include Knox/Charlie btw.
Phoebe/Cole gave me my first taste in toxic relationships and to be honest they've yet to be topped in that category.
I'm forgetting too many, but we'd be here for hours if I were to list them all!
15. WIPs you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
My Elite multichapter fic. It was a passion project and I got really carried away with the plot and the twists. I love it so much, and I love the character dynamics in it, but my hyperfixation is long gone and I don't know if I can do it justice at this point.
16. Writing strengths?
Oh character dynamics and dialogue for sure! I also think I'm good at characterization, but I think that's something that's not entirely objective as different people understand and relate to different things about characters.
But I do spend A LOT of time working on the relationships between all the characters. I want them to feel as real and organic as possible, and I think I'm good at that!
17. Writing weakness?
I don't think I'm very good with descriptions. Like, I tend to get too lost on the details because I'm a very observant person, but in reading that can get too much.
I'm also not very good at pacing myself and like knowing when to finish a chapter. I think Great, now the apocalypse is a very good exercise for me at both fronts.
18. Thoughts on mixed language dialogue?
Love them! I have an entire fic where my two protagonists speak different languages, one Spanish the other Italian, and they somehow manage to fully communicate (they resort to English, of course...)
19. First fandom you ever wrote for?
Big time rush. I don't want to talk about it.
20. Favorite fic you've ever written?
Mmm I think it's a toss between Love Is In The Air and Great, now the apocalypse. I can't really decide!
This was far tooooo long to write on my phone, but I did it! It was also very fun so thank you!

And anyone else who wants to participate!
20 Questions for Fanfic Authors
Thank you so much for the tag @schofielded !! These are such fun questions to read about others and also answer! >:)
1. How many works on ao3?
A whopping 8! Lots of others in progress, of course, but 8 is all I have officially posted (I may have a secret 9 posted elsewhere)
2. Total ao3 word count?
It’s 347,132 despite there only being 8 fics lmao. I am nothing if not longwinded (it’s 355,254 if you count my secret fic haha)
3. Top 5 fics by kudos?
My most popular fic by far is Let Me Wallow in Your Afterglow, followed by To Boil a Wildflower, then Spit the Blood Back, then Static From My Better Sense, and finally I Read You for Some Kind of Poem!!
4. What fandoms do you write for?
At the moment, mainly DPS although I always seem to have an IT fic in the works. I’ve also dabbled in Stranger Things and The Batman, and I have some WIPs for various fandoms like The Goldfinch and Bones and All
5. Do you respond to comments?
Yes, almost all of them!! I basically don’t respond when the comment is only a sentence long or if I have nothing to contribute, but I love responding to comments (even though I get in my head about it lmao)
6. Angstiest ending?
That title used to belong to That’s Where We Disagree, but I think I Read You for Some Kind of Poem has officially dethroned it lmao. No spoilers for either of them, but I’ve gotten multiple comments saying that they’ve brought people to tears so that’s my proof of angst
7. Fic with the happiest ending?
Hmm I usually like to leave my longer fics open ended, but I think the happiest ending belongs to Let Me Wallow in Your Afterglow, especially with the epilogue I currently have in the works
8. Do you get hate?
The closest thing I’ve gotten to hate have been questionable bookmark notes, specifically one that said it was a waste of their time lmao, so I consider myself lucky on that end
9. Do you write smut?
Weirdly enough, a lot of my irls know about my ao3 account (my fault), so no smut there. (The aforementioned secret fic may be posted on another account for this very reason lmao)
10. Do you write crossovers?
I’ve never had the urge to, so no. All power to the people who do it, but none of the media I’ve been into has made me want to combine them
11. Ever had a fic stolen?
Oh god I hope not; not to my knowledge anyway. However, I feel like I’ve seen content in some fandoms which seem inspired by my fics but never got credited lmao
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
I wish, that would be so cool! Unfortunately, my most popular fic is super long so it’d be such a chore to translate haha
13. Have you ever cowritten a fic?
Nope! I’m not opposed to the idea, but I’m also very weird when it comes to collaboration in a creative sense, so who knows?
14. All time favorite ship?
Hmm it’s a tie between Reddie and Anderperry for me. Doomed yaoi for life 🙏
15. WIPs you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Hmm probably my WIP for The Goldfinch since it’s been so long since I’ve read the book. Also Short-Flamed; I probably won’t finish it since the passion is gone </3
16. Writing strengths?
Hmm I get a lot of compliments on characterization, so probably that? I’m also pretty proud of my prose!
17. Writing weaknesses?
I am sooo bad at dialogue, so I just hope my prose and characterization covers it up lmao. I’m also too wordy I’d say (e.g. my fic to word count ratio)
18. Thoughts on mixed language dialogue?
Very cool!! I’m monolingual (boo), so I could never do it without it probably sounding awkward, but I think it’s a great tool to deepen your dialogue and characters while also teaching the reader some new words!
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Okay I’m going to be vulnerable since I assume only my true friends have made it this far in the post. First fandom I wrote for was Big Hero 6. That’s all I’ll say.
20. Favorite fic you've ever written?
Basic answer, but I do feel like Let Me Wallow in Your Afterglow is my favorite fic I’ve written to date. My best fic is probably I Read You for Some Kind of Poem and I have a soft spot for To Boil a Wildflower, but yeah.
No pressure tags: @good--merits-accumulated @scriptscraps @toddtakefive @soultragedy @yawping-poets-society + anyone else who wants to join!!

Note
You should tell me which of your fics aren't too angsty... That would be really cool...
-grim
Hmm I don't really do not angsty fics. I mainly write for Dead Poets Society so angst is to be expected... I'd say I have two primarily fluffy stories; Married, Allegedly , and The lingering effects of a really good kiss (on cognitive function and general sanity) . I hope you enjoy them, if you decide to read them 😊

I feel like wenclair fans are just looking for a lesbian version of Solangelo instead of knowing Wednesday as a character and what she would find attractive. Enid is great, don't get me wrong but please here me out on what I have to say.
---
Why Tyler Galpin and Wednesday Addams Are a Better Match Than Enid Sinclair and Wednesday
1. Emotional Chemistry and Tension
From their very first interactions, Tyler and Wednesday share a unique, simmering chemistry that’s charged with mystery and intrigue. Tyler is one of the few people Wednesday voluntarily seeks out, and their conversations are laced with sharp wit and emotional subtext. There's a vulnerability that begins to peek through in Wednesday whenever she's with Tyler, suggesting that beneath her hardened exterior, she feels seen and understood. The romantic tension between them is palpable, heightened by shared secrets and mutual fascination.
On the other hand, while Enid and Wednesday develop a beautiful friendship, their dynamic leans more toward platonic emotional support than romantic chemistry. Their connection is based on contrast—Enid's sunny optimism balancing out Wednesday's morbid seriousness—but it lacks the kind of charged moments that characterize romantic build-up. While some fans interpret their bond through a romantic lens, the text of the show presents it as a deeply meaningful friendship rather than a romantic arc.
2. Opposites with Shadows in Common
Though Wednesday and Tyler appear to be opposites—he's the friendly barista, she's the macabre outcast—they are both hiding painful truths beneath the surface. Tyler, struggling with his identity as a Hyde and the trauma from his mother’s death, mirrors Wednesday’s internal battle between her independence and her need for connection. Their respective emotional repression and guardedness make their relationship more layered and realistic. In many ways, Tyler forces Wednesday to confront the parts of herself she would rather ignore—her capacity for feeling, for trust, for emotional risk.
Enid, while the perfect foil in terms of brightness and color, represents external contrast more than internal reflection. She challenges Wednesday’s rigidness and emotional coldness, but she doesn’t quite reflect her complexity or darkness. Their friendship is growth-oriented, yes, but it doesn’t explore the same depths of vulnerability and emotional risk that her relationship with Tyler does.
3. Narrative Symbolism and Foil Dynamics
Tyler serves as a dark mirror to Wednesday. As the son of the sheriff and a secret monster, he embodies the duality of good and evil, order and chaos—just like Wednesday herself. The reveal that Tyler is the Hyde is a moment of betrayal, but also one of thematic resonance: Wednesday, who prides herself on logic and detachment, is forced to reckon with the consequences of opening up her heart.
Their relationship also subverts the traditional love interest trope. Tyler isn’t a hero come to rescue her—he becomes part of her inner conflict, making her character arc stronger. Love, for Wednesday, was never going to be soft or easy; it was always going to be something tangled in danger, morality, and truth. Tyler fits that mold.
In contrast, Enid’s role in the story functions more like the anchor—a stabilizing, heartwarming presence that helps Wednesday grow as a person, not necessarily as a romantic partner. Their bond is essential, but it lacks the mythic, gothic tragedy and complexity that makes Wednesday and Tyler’s story so compelling.
4. Wednesday’s Canonical Resistance to Romantic Tropes
While many viewers love the idea of Wednesday and Enid as a queer pairing—and representation is deeply important—it’s also vital to look at how the characters are framed narratively. Wednesday resists romance at every turn. The only person she momentarily lets in, in a romantic way, is Tyler. That choice reflects her character’s journey: trusting someone, making a mistake, and growing from it. Her connection with Tyler pushes her boundaries in ways that are deeply in character.
If she had gotten together with Enid, it would have been a more comforting and safer route. Tyler forces her to confront pain, betrayal, and her own limitations—hallmarks of a gothic heroine’s path. In the world of Wednesday Addams, love isn't about comfort. It's about chaos, vulnerability, and sometimes, danger.
---
Conclusion
While the idea of Wednesday and Enid in a romantic relationship is a popular and wholesome interpretation, Tyler Galpin and Wednesday Addams are a better canonical match when we consider emotional chemistry, thematic weight, and character development. Tyler represents the storm Wednesday is constantly wrestling with internally—fascinating, dangerous, and heartbreakingly human. Their story may be messy, but it is deeply meaningful. And for a character like Wednesday, who thrives in the shadows, it’s only fitting that love would come wrapped in mystery, pain, and the possibility of transformation.
