"love makes you stupid" is about louis who decides to chose his companion of the day over a child he cursed into the darkness out of his own selfishness; it's about claudia who despite experiencing the cruelty of different vampires firsthand time and time again decides to stay with her newfound beloved nearby the coven who she knows is ruthless to anyone who breaks their self-imposed rules; it's about armand who decides it's okay to get rid of the child of his new lover because "can you imagine me without the burden of her?" and he does the idea a little too much and wants to believe it'll work out in the long run; it's about lestat who knows that you shouldn't turn children into vampires but his husband who just left him, now is begging him to give him one, and he succumbs because he hopes that this will save their marriage even though deep down he knows it won't

By the way, Will is explicitly written not only as a gay character who is in love with his best friend, but also as a character who grew up believing that he’d never fall in love. He’s someone who still believes that he doesn���t deserve to be loved, because he feels like his feelings are a mistake. This isn’t the type of character arc that will end with him watching the only person he has ever expressed interest in, the boy he’s in love with, be with with someone else. That wouldn’t be satisfying for viewers, wouldn’t make sense for Will as a character, and it would be needlessly cruel. In a story focused on demonstrating why society’s outsiders deserve love and acceptance, he’s going to find just that. It’s the only end for him that fits with his arc and the show’s narrative themes. To have it end otherwise is terrible writing.

the thing about the orange heart subliminal is that like. whatever it is it's funny as hell. if it's a little heeheehoohoo enrichment mind game puzzle for us that's funny as hell. if it is a genuine editing mistake that happened bc saying "love heart" with the orange heart had too many connotations then it's even funnier because the failed cover up (and the fact that the new purple heart doesnt match the broken heart emoji) makes it seem like a last minute panic decision, the visuals of which are hilarious. and also the Implications. like whatever it is: funny as hell. and homosexually sinister.

I loved Louka Anargyros's ceramic sculpture collection "Locker Room" so I was looking through his Instagram.
