Netflix released even more "Nimona" movie art!

The webcomic turned graphic novel by ND Stevenson was adapted into a movie, which premiered at the Annecy Animation International Film Festival on June 14th. It will show in select theaters on June 23, and be up for streaming on June 30!

Silverfish are kinda seen as gross little creepy crawlies. And I chose a Firebrat because 'brat' lol. Sam would be mortified as a bug 🫡

New "Nimona" film cast members

We seem to have a full cast and crew list available on IMDB, which matches other reported sources. As a warning, there are spoilers in the cast list, so click at your own risk.

This one's even more spoilery (by Netflix) as it gives more detail on some of the characters

It really looks like Dr. Blitzmeyer was cut from the story :/ It's possible her backstory was retconned into someone else, maybe Alamzapam Davis (who's a news anchor and new for the story), but I don't know.

Queen Valerin does indeed seem to have replaced the King in the webcomic. Most everyone else is just brand new. Nate Knight doesn't seem to be the renamed Rudy after all, unless he's also used elsewhere. It's kind of odd that two news anchors are getting highlighted this way, since I can't imagine their importance to the story is that high, though that might be just because RuPaul is voicing one of them. There's also something called "Syntheya", the voice of the kingdom, and an Announcer, so there's a lot of announcer/narrator things in this.

I think it's also notable that there aren't any named or unnamed doctors in this, and given what we know of the plot, it seems like there's no epidemic plotline at all, which could make sense if the plot was streamline and focused more on Ballister "proving" his innocence than trying to prove the Institution is evil.
