2024 Year End Review:

2024 started off terribly, but then I was given so many amazing things.

February 7th, I befriended my now best friend @keytothewardy and it was the best decision of my life. She’s my everything and I love her dearly.

April 30th, 2024, I was followed and DM’d on my brithday by the two men who mean the world to me, the Young Bucks. I’ve had some wonderful conversations with them and I will forever hold them near and dear. I also got to thank them for keeping me sane and alive for so long. Forever grateful and will never take anything they told me for granted.

Ps. I was supposed to take my life that day (made this pact a few years ago), but it’s like everything changed for the better.

May 2024, my best friend and I decided to combine our love for the Young Bucks and start a IG page dedicated to them, which has been a blessing from the start. Plus running it with my best friend has been a blast! We celebrated our birthdays together too!

July 2024, I got to visit my best friend and spend a week at her place and it was so fun. I love her family dearly!

November, 2024, I got to go to my FIRST two AEW events (Dynamite & Full Gear) with my best friend. Had the time of my life, plus got to spend Thanksgiving with her and her family too!

2024 has been phenomenal and I’ll never forget it. 🙏🏽♥️

Fourth years: *running happily in front of us in the autumn sun, laughing and leaning on each other while holding tiny bags with barely anything in them*

Us, third years (aka people currently going through what is universally regarded as the worst year in med school): *slowly and dreadfully walking back to the uni, exhausted after two 2,5 hour classes (including a pharmacology test) and returning for a mandatory 3pm lecture which lasts until five (this is our daily schedule for 6 days out of seven) with a general attitude of misery and depression hanging around us*

I know you’ve said her latest release isn’t really your style, and I know you’ve also had concerns with her lack of outward support for Palestinians and not speaking up on other topics in the last year. hihiiii, first of all - you summed it up so perfectly! As for where I stand, I'd say I'm more critical of my investment in the fandom, I'm more mindful about my role as a fan (trying very hard to be less parasocially invested) and I'm finally getting to a point where I can appreciate her music without feeling a need to like who she is as a person + everything she does/says/is associated with. Idk if this answers the question but that's what I can come up with
