the annual christmas sorority date auction༉ೀ
warnings — frat!rafe, sorority!reader, date auction (for charity), rafe being competitive, jealous rafe, oral (m. receiving), praising, tit sucking, nipple biting (for like 2 seconds), spanking, sex in lingerie, unprotected sex, creampie wc — 1.7k a/n — merry christmas + happy new years !! got the date auction idea from the movie, white chicks
“not that i’m against the purpose of it, but do you have to be in this year’s event?” rafe huffed, looking around at the stage setup . “i would skip it if i could, but they think having all of us in the event will benefit the fundraiser,” you sigh. “yeah…well, these guys willing to bid to win a date with a girl is a bit pathetic, it’s stupid,” your boyfriend grumbled, making you raise a brow.
“oh is it? you didn’t seem to think it was stupid last year when you bid on getting a date with me. you know…the same date that led to us dating.” rafe knew you were right, but that didn’t mean he liked the idea, “i know, but i don’t want to even think about how many of the guys from the other fraternities will try to bid on getting a date with you.”
“guess you’ll have to outbid them, huh?” you tease. he rolled his eyes, muttering something along the lines of, “i shouldn’t have to bid just to go on a date with my girl,” under his breath. “that’s too bad, i was hoping to give you one of your christmas presents early if you win the bid,” your fingers played with the hair at the nape of his neck. “yeah? and what would that be?” rafe grinned as you plucked his hat off his head, turning it around and placing it backward on his head.
“there’s only one way for you to find out,” you whipped your head around at the sound of your sorority sisters calling your name. “it’s about to start. i have to go before london rips my head off for not being ready,” you gave him a rushed kiss on the cheek, your gloss sticking to his skin, before heading towards the stage to get in position.
as the event started, rafe became antsy, waiting for your turn as your sorority sisters appeared on stage individually. members of fraternities bidding against one another in hopes of landing a date with any of the girls had him on the edge of his seat.
he fidgeted in his seat when london announced your name, his jaw clenching at the sound of the men hollering when you stepped out onto the center of the stage. you gave rafe a playful wink while london introduced your name and interests to the crowd of fraternity brothers before the bidding started.
he figured no one would try to place a bid, knowing you were his. but rafe couldn’t be more wrong when he heard “$100”. he sat up in his seat, snapping his head toward the direction of the voice. “you’ve gotta be fuckin’ kidding me,” he scoffed, he glared, his eyes landing on chad, a member of his rival fraternity, who had his typical, stupid smug look on his face.
“$200,” rafe called out, and it didn’t take long for the two to start calling out numbers, trying to outbid the other. you nervously shifted in place, your eyes darted back and forth between rafe and chad, anxiously shifting in place as the number increased, nearing $800. your eyes widened at the number rafe blurted out, he knew his father would be furious once he found out how much money he blew off, but knowing no one could get their hands on you was worth it. seeing chad’s dumb grin on his face fall was purely a bonus.
after the event, you walked off stage, where rafe was waiting for you by the stairs. “thought you said you shouldn’t have to bid to go on a date with me?” you mock. he chuckled, dipping his head down to capture your lips with his, “like i said, you’re my girl. you didn’t really think i’d let these assholes take you from me, did you?” you giggle, “no, but you’re dad might kill you for how much money you dropped, which was a ridiculous amount.” rafe shrugged, “the old man will be fine, you know i don’t care how much i spend when it comes to you.”
“plus, i wanna know what my present is,” he grinned, “you can’t blame me for wanting to know when you’re the one who mentioned it.” you give him a playful smack to the chest, “you’ll see what it is when we’re back at my apartment.”
as soon as those words left your mouth, he practically dragged you out of the building. once the two of you made it to your apartment, he tried to pull you into your bedroom, only for you to shove him onto the couch, “be patient,” you warned. “baby, you know i’m the most impatient man when it comes to you,” rafe complained, groaning at the look you give him, “okay, fine.”
“wait here,” he watched you disappear around the corner and into your bedroom. he looked around at your apartment's walls which were adorned with pictures. his ears perked at the sound of your bedroom door opening, accompanied by your voice, ”close your eyes!” you poked your head out, ensuring his eyes were closed before walking out.
you stood before him, lowering your head to press your lips onto his in a messy kiss, climbing onto his lap, your legs straddling either side of him. rafe wrapped his arms around your waist, his tongue slipping into your mouth. he let out a strained groan as you suck on his bottom lip, a string of spit connecting between your lips when you pull away.
“holy shit…” rafe rasps, his eyes blinking open, raking up and down your body, taking in the red and white candy cane lingerie. “god…you look so fuckin’ sexy,” his hands ran up and down your thighs, fingers playing with the embellishments on your stockings.
you kiss along his jaw to his neck, sucking and biting at his skin. you roll your hips into him, grinding your clothed cunt against his bulge. rafe’s hand entangles in your hair, tugging your head back to pull you in for another kiss. he nips at your bottom lip, ”as much as i love this on you, i wanna see those pretty tits,” his hands snake behind your back. he unhooks the clasps of the corset, pushing the straps off your shoulders, and tossing it aside. your eyes flutter shut, his lips trailing down your neck to leave wet, open-mouthed kisses.
your hands pull at the hem of his shirt, tugging it over his head, before gently shoving him to sit back. “i’m supposed to make you feel good tonight,” you slipped off his lap, settling yourself between his legs, your hands fumbling with the button and zipper of his pants. rafe lifted his hips, helping you pull his pants and boxers down to pool around his ankles, his hard cock slapping against his abdomen. you look up at him, wrapping your hand around his length, stroking it slowly before licking at his tip, sucking it into your mouth.
he watches you take more of his cock into your mouth, and he leans forward, grabbing your hair and bunching it into his fist. “fuck, just like that,” he moans, his hips rolling, pushing his cock deeper into your mouth, pulling a gag from you when his tip repeatedly kisses the back of your throat. you blink up at him, tears threatening to spill and drool slipping out of your mouth, “always makin’ a mess on my cock like a good girl, just how i like it,” his praise making you press your thighs together.
his jaw goes slack, watching your lips slide up and down his dick, “fuck…you like makin’ me feel good, don’t you? always wanna please me no matter what?” you hum around him, the vibrations traveling up his cock making it hard for his eyes to stay open. he pulls you off of him with a wet ‘pop,’ “if i’m gonna cum, it needs to be inside your sweet little cunt.”
rafe yanks you up from your knees, and you hurriedly try to remove the garter belt and thigh-high stockings. “no, keep ‘em on,” he demands, pulling you down onto his lap again. you rest your hands on his broad shoulders, raising your hips to let his fingers hook into your thong to pull it to the side. “jesus, sucking my dick always gets you this wet, huh?” he chuckles, planting a hand on your hip to keep you steady.
he guides his cock to your drooling hole, biting back a groan at your walls stretching around him, sucking him in deeper. he presses his head into the cushion of the couch, staring up at you in awe as you roll your hips. ”takin’ me so deep, your pussy is always greedy f’me, isn’t she?” his hands ghost up your plush thighs to your ass. you whined when he delivered a sharp smack. “c’mon baby, you can do better than that,” he coos, encouraging you to move up and down, bouncing on his cock.
“good girl, just like that…” rafe grunted, leaning forward to capture your nipple into his mouth. his fingers dug into the flesh of your waist, “rafe–” you yelped, the pain and pleasure of feeling his teeth sink into the sensitive bud sending jolts through your body. you whine as he pulls away, “oh, you like that, huh?”
he pulls you forward, your face burying into his shoulder and his hands grip the fat of your ass, holding you still to pound into you. you cry out, your nails biting into his skin, his thighs smacking against your ass with each harsh thrust. the head of his cock persistently hits your cervix, pulling a sharp gasp from you.
rafe removes one hand to slip between the two of you, the pads of his fingers circling your puffy clit. your eyes roll back, whimpering into his shoulder, “gonna cum f’me, baby? gonna make a mess all over my cock then let me fill this pretty pussy with my cum?”
“y-yes!” you sob, his fingers pinching your clit, sending you over the edge. “shh, just a little longer,” he groans at your walls squeezing around him. you pant against his neck, squirming on top of him. his hips stutter, pushing himself deep inside you, moaning your name, his cum spilling inside your cunt, painting your walls white.
“don’t know how you’re gonna beat next year’s present, this might’ve been the best christmas present yet,” rafe panted, kissing the side of your head.

Leaving: Christmas
Alexia Putellas x Teen!Reader
Summary: Christmas with Menor
It's not often that Eli gets to have all three of you in the same place, not with you off travelling the world for your tennis, practically in a different country every month.
But the winter months is one that she can almost guarantee you'll be home for.
You finish your tennis season on a high, lifting the trophy at the WTA Finals before you spend a few more weeks in Poland with your training team coming up with a rough schedule of what you want to compete in next year.
But you're home now which means that Eli has all three of her daughters in the same country. Which also means mandatory days out together on the run up to Christmas.
It's easier to get you sorted than Alexia - still playing football every week - and Alba, still teaching as the schools haven't gone on holiday yet.
You're back in your childhood bedroom and seem to delight in sleeping the day away and only getting up around two in the afternoon to migrate from your bed to the sofa.
Occasionally, you roll out of bed early in the morning to take part in some sponsorship commitments.
Your tennis season has been nothing short of extraordinary this year and you've somehow become Nike Tennis' golden girl along the way with all of your tennis gear bar your racket being supplied by them.
Like how now, you and Alexia are wearing the exact same Nike shoes as you all walk through the Christmas market together.
"Mami!" You complain over the noise of the crowd," Mami, make them stop!"
Somewhere between the stall making handmade Santas and the stall with fresh paella, Alexia has gotten you into a headlock and is none too kindly ruffling your hair while Alba pinches your cheek between two fingers.
"She started it!" Alexia yells back.
"Alexia," Eli says with a sigh," You are thirty years old-"
"Yeah, Alexia!" You butt in," You're old."
"No, y/n, that's not what I meant," Eli tries to correct you but she's interrupted yet again.
"Yeah, older than you!" Alexia says," Which means you're meant to do what I say! Listen to your elders!"
"Oh? So you're elderly now? Maybe you should sit down, Ale, and rest your old back!"
You shove her off of you, stamping on her foot before taking off down the street.
"Hey! Get back here!" Alexia yells, taking off after you as she forces her way through the crowd.
Alba shakes her head in mock disapproval. "You know, Mami-"
"No, Alba," Eli says," I will not only buy you stuff tonight. Stop trying to get your sisters in trouble."
Alba shrugs. "It was worth a shot."
By the time Eli and Alba catch up, you and Alexia have forgotten whatever argument you've been having in favour of nosing around some of the stalls together.
Somehow in the time it's taken for Eli and Alba to return, you've both gotten cups of hot chocolate with caramel sauce and marshmallows along with little Christmas ornaments to hang on the tree.
"Must you two spend so much money?" Alba complains as she points at the little paper bags that Eli hadn't even noticed.
"It's not our fault that we've got a lot of it saved up."
Alba rolls her eyes. "It's exactly your fault! You don't have to keep winning so much in prize money."
You shrug. "It's not my fault I'm good at what I do."
"It's your fault you're not spending it on me," Alba says, tongue poking out of her mouth.
"If I buy you stuff, will I get sister points?"
Alba doesn't even have to think about it. "Yes."
You grin. "What do you want?"
Eli sighs. "Alba, please stop exploiting your little sister's goodwill."
"Yeah Alba," Alexia butts in, her own tongue sticking out," Don't exploit our little sister."
"You do it all the time!"
"I'm allowed to!"
"Girls," Eli says wearily," Please stop exploiting each other."
It's a weak request, one that Eli knows will be ignored but she has to at least attempt it, if only to look like a good mother in a crowd of strangers.
She easily tunes out the bickering of the three of you as she turns to the hot chocolate stall and buys herself a cup of it.
You and Alexia have good taste, she can give you that because it's delightfully creamy and Eli takes a long gulp before turning back around.
She's not surprised that the three of you have disappeared.
In all honesty, she's surprised you all stuck around for so long.
Usually, the three of you go off by yourselves the moment you step into a market. Eli's kind of been a bit antsy for you to all disappear. She does her best Christmas shopping when none of you are around.
"Alexia!" You complain," Hurry up! Alba's saving us a spot in line."
"But..." Alexia pretends to stumble, making herself seem suddenly weak and weary. "I...I don't know if I can go on! You know, with my old bones!"
"Alexia, you're so dramatic!"
She grins. "Yes."
"Come on!" You say," I want to go on the drop ride!"
"You always want to go on the drop ride!"
"Exactly," You say, pulling her more forcefully than before," Because it's tradition! Don't ruin tradition!"
Alexia laughs, finally having stopped digging her heels in to throw her arm over your shoulder.
"You know I'll never break tradition."

Swim
bridgerton family x sis!reader
summary: when the youngest Bridgerton is playing in the garden with her siblings, she falls into the lake, not knowing how to swim. Realizing the accident, her older brother runs to save her
requested: yes
warnings: drowning
It was a hot day in the countryside, the heat almost unbearable and most of the animals seeking shelter in the shadows. The Bridgerton family was at Aubrey Hall, however the younger ones were dissatisfied with how the day was going. Daphne was away with her husband, Benedict had locked himself in the art room, consumed by a burst of inspiration, and Colin was still traveling through Europe. Eloise was visiting Penelope, and Lady Bridgerton was engaged in a lively chat with the other ladies of the parish.
"Anthony!" Y/n called out for the only brother left. However, she was also unlucky when she saw him hunched over paperwork in his study, his brow furrowed in frustration.
The youngest Bridgerton sighed in annoyence, everyone was busy except her three older siblings. However, their mother had forbidden them to go out and play in the garden without the surveillance of any family member, keeping them dry all day reading until they got tired of lying on the sofa, vanning themselves.
"Y/n! How many times do I have to say that you can't walk into my office like that?! It’s not proper." Anthony scolded her, he was also frustrated with the work that was piling up, the heat and his youngest siblings who couldn't seem to stop bothering him.
“The door was open…” Y/n muttered, only to earn a sharp glare. “I’m sorry, brother. But Hyacinth, Gregory, Francesca, and I are so bored. It’s unbearable indoors, and we want to play outside.”
The older man ran his hand over his forehead, taking a deep breath to control his impatience and not take it out on his little sister. The truth was that the heat wasn't helping for his patience.
“You know what?” he said, exhaling sharply, “Go. Go play outside. Just don’t disturb me again.”
"But mother said—”
"You'll be fine." Anthony waved a hand in the air, dismissing what the girl was going to say, his attention already focused on the documents. "Just don't get too close to the lake and if you need anything, fetch for a maid."
"Are you sure?" Y/n questioned hesitantly, knowing these weren't the rules Violet imposed.
"Off you go." the Viscount muttered, motioning for her to leave and close the door.
“Of course, brother.” she left in silence, closing the door.
She returned to her younger siblings with a bright smile, though a flicker of uncertainty lingered. "We can go!" she announced, and their faces lit up. The four of them dashed to the garden, their laughter ringing out as they burst into the open air.
The garden was Y/n’s favorite place, a haven of color and life. The vibrant flowers—roses, tulips, and daisies—lined the pathways, their sweet fragrance mingling with the warm summer breeze. A fountain bubbled gently at the center, its soothing trickle blending with the cheerful quacks of ducks paddling in the nearby lake. Towering trees offered patches of welcome shade, their leaves rustling softly as if whispering secrets to the wind.
Gregory raced to the fountain and splashed water at his sisters, eliciting squeals of surprise. The girls retaliated, sparking a playful water fight. The cool droplets against their skin brought much-needed relief from the sweltering heat, and their laughter echoed across the garden.
Hyacinth soon grabbed a small ball, and the group shifted to a lively game of catch. When Gregory threw the ball to Y/n, she was momentarily distracted by a pair of butterflies flitting gracefully nearby. The ball slipped through her fingers and rolled into the lake.
“Oh, no!” Y/n exclaimed, spinning around to face her siblings. “Anthony said the lake was off limits!”
“That was your fault, Y/n!” Gregory shot back, folding his arms. “You were distracted! Just go get the ball. Nothing will happen, and we can keep playing.”
Hyacinth frowned, tugging at Y/n’s arm nervously. “Be careful,” she whispered, glancing anxiously at the shimmering water. Francesca stood silently, her face a mix of worry and curiosity.
Y/n hesitated, looking between her siblings and the ball floating just a little too far from the edge of the lake. “Alright,” she finally said, though her voice trembled slightly. “I’ll get it, but don’t tell Anthony or Mama.”
She carefully made her way to the edge of the lake, the grass beneath her feet slippery and damp. The ball bobbed lazily on the water’s surface, taunting her. Stretching out her arm, she leaned forward as much as she could without stepping into the water.
“Just a little more…” Y/n muttered to herself, her fingertips brushing the edge of the ball. But the ground beneath her shifted suddenly, and with a startled yelp, she lost her balance. Her arms flailed as she tumbled forward, plunging into the cold water with a loud splash.
“Y/n!” Hyacinth screamed, her hands flying to her mouth as she watched her sister vanish beneath the surface.
“Y/n! Get up! Stop playing around!” Gregory shouted, his voice wavering as panic set in.
But Y/n wasn’t playing. The moment she hit the water, she remembered she didn’t know how to swim. Her brothers were always making the promise they would teach her how to swim, but they were always busy.
The weight of her wet dress dragged her down, and she struggled desperately to keep her head above the surface. Her hair was in front of her eyes, which was only adding to her panic. Her siblings were screaming behind her, but she couldn't do anything. She gasped, swallowing water instead of air, her arms thrashing uselessly.
“I-I can’t—help!” Y/n choked, her voice barely audible over the splashing.
Francesca started crying, while Hyacinth grabbed Gregory’s arm. “Do something, Gregory!” she pleaded, her voice high-pitched and trembling. "Help her!"
“I—I don’t know what to do!” Gregory stammered, his face pale as he watched his sister struggle. “We need Anthony!”
The three of them began screaming at the top of their lungs. “Anthony! Anthony! Help!”
Inside the house, Anthony sat at his desk, brow furrowed as he tried to focus on his work. But the distant sound of frantic shouting made him freeze. His siblings’ voices pierced through the thick walls of Aubrey Hall, each cry laced with panic.
“Anthony! Help! Y/n, swim, please!”
He was on his feet in an instant, the paperwork long forgotten. His hands were trembling and he was having trouble taking a breath in. Memories of his father dying were playing in his brain. He couldn't lose his younger sister, he wouldn't survive. He believed no one in the family would. Y/n was a ray of sunshine, she had the power of making him smile even in his darkest days.
Racing out of his study, he bolted through the house and into the garden. The sight that met him stopped his heart for a moment—Y/n floundering in the lake, her siblings screaming helplessly at the edge.
“Y/n!” Anthony roared, sprinting toward the water.
Without hesitation, he dove in, the cool shock of the water biting against his skin. His powerful strokes cut through the lake as he reached her, wrapping one arm securely around her chest to keep her head above water. “I’ve got you, Y/n! You’re safe!” he gasped, pulling her toward the shore.
Y/n coughed and sputtered, clinging tightly to Anthony’s arm as he hauled her out of the water and onto the grass. She collapsed onto her side, shivering and coughing up all the water trapped in her lungs.
“Y/n!” Hyacinth sobbed, rushing forward to kneel beside her. Gregory and Francesca hovered close, their faces streaked with tears.
Anthony knelt next to his youngest sister, his hands gently brushing the wet hair from her face. “What were you thinking?” he demanded, though his voice cracked with a mix of anger and fear. “I told you to stay away from the lake!”
“I-I’m sorry,” Y/n whispered, her voice trembling as tears streamed down her cheeks. “I was just trying to get the ball…”
“Forget the ball!” Anthony snapped, though the harshness of his words softened as he saw the guilt in her eyes. He sighed heavily, pulling her into a protective embrace despite her soaked clothes. “You scared me half to death, Y/n. Don’t ever do that again.”
“I won’t,” she murmured, burying her face in his shoulder. “I promise.”
Anthony held her tightly for a moment longer before pulling back and looking at the other three. “And you lot,” he said, fixing them with a stern glare, “should have come to me the second something went wrong. You don’t handle things like this on your own, understood?”
“Yes, Anthony,” Gregory muttered, his head bowed.
“I’m sorry, Anthony,” Hyacinth sniffled.
“Let’s get you all inside,” Anthony said, scooping Y/n into his arms. “Y/n needs to change out of these wet clothes, and all of you need to stay out of trouble. And don’t think this means I’m letting any of you off the hook when I tell Mother about this.”
The siblings exchanged nervous glances but said nothing. For now, they were just relieved Y/n was safe.
"And go get Benedict for me, please," Anthony sighed, tightening his protective hold on Y/n, who rested her head against his chest. Just like she used to when she was a baby, seeking comfort and safety in her older brother’s arms.
The Bridgerton siblings immediately sprang into action, not wanting to further anger their eldest brother. Gregory and Hyacinth bolted toward Benedict’s art room, their small footsteps echoing through the halls. Meanwhile, Anthony called for the maids, handing Y/n over gently and instructing them to draw her a warm bath and help her change into fresh clothes. Once she was seen to, he retreated to his room to rid himself of his soaked garments.
Later, Y/n was tucked into her bed, warm and safe, her cheeks flushed pink from the warmth of the bath. She had drifted off to sleep, her breathing soft and steady. Anthony sat in a chair beside her bed, his elbow resting on his knee as he leaned forward, his eyes locked on her small, peaceful frame. Every slight rise and fall of her chest reassured him she was still there, still breathing.
Beside him, Benedict sat in quiet solidarity, his hand supporting his chin as he watched his older brother wrestle with his thoughts.
“I thought we were going to lose her,” Anthony whispered, his voice thick with emotion. “She was screaming, Benedict. She was drowning, and I didn’t know if I’d reach her in time.” His jaw tightened, and he ran a hand through his hair in frustration. “All because none of us had the bloody sense to teach her how to swim.”
“It’s not your fault, Anthony,” Benedict said softly, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder. “She’s okay now. You saved her.”
Anthony shook his head, his eyes never leaving Y/n. “She asked me to let them go outside. I said yes because I was frustrated she was interrupting me. I didn’t think, Benedict. I didn’t think about the lake or the rules or how dangerous it was. I let her go because it was easier for me, and I put her in danger. That’s on me. I was irresponsible.”
Benedict’s hand squeezed his shoulder, grounding him. “You made a mistake, Anthony. But don’t forget, when it mattered most, you were there. You pulled her out of the water and you’re here now, making sure she’s safe. That’s what being the eldest means. You can’t be perfect all the time.”
Anthony let out a heavy sigh, leaning back in the chair. “I don’t have the luxury of mistakes. Not when it comes to them. Not when it comes to Y/n. I should’ve been better.”
Benedict paused for a moment before leaning forward, his tone shifting to something lighter, more familiar. “You know, Anthony, this might be the first time I’ve ever seen you admit to not being perfect. I’m almost proud of you.”
Despite himself, Anthony let out a small chuckle, shaking his head. “Not the time for jokes, Benedict.”
“Come on,” Benedict smirked, “you’ve been brooding for hours. She’s going to wake up and see that same grumpy expression, and then we’ll have a whole new mess to deal with.”
Anthony gave him a sidelong glance, but the corner of his mouth twitched upward slightly. “You’re insufferable, you know that?”
Benedict leaned back, feigning a look of triumph. “I’ve been told.”
A small, sleepy voice interrupted their exchange. “Anthony? Benedict?”
Both men snapped their attention to Y/n, who was stirring in her bed. Anthony leaned forward immediately, brushing a hand over her forehead. “I’m here, Y/n. How are you feeling?”
Her eyes fluttered open, and she looked up at him with a mix of guilt and relief. “I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to make you upset.”
Anthony’s heart clenched. “You don’t need to apologize, sweetheart. I’m the one who’s sorry. I should’ve been paying more attention.”
“You saved me,” she said softly, her small hand reaching out to grab his. “Thank you.”
Anthony squeezed her hand gently, his voice thick with emotion. “Always, Y/n. Always.”
Benedict leaned in, his tone playful. “And just so you know, next time you want to cause this much chaos, at least let me finish my painting first.”
Y/n let out a small, tired giggle, and Anthony finally allowed himself to relax. His little sister was safe, and he would make sure it always stayed that way.

☆ credits ─ live laugh love @anitalenia 4 the gorgeous divider <3 no specific inspiration for this fic, just felt like writing one fueled by my christmas spirit (i have never celebrated christmas in my life, so if u caught me lacking, no u didn't!)
꩜ author's note ─ first fic ever & ofc it's ft. my man !! i'm not v satisfied with this work and it was really rushed towards the end, so feedback is much appreciated :3 merry xmas to all those celebrating and happy holidays ♡ title's from "a nonsense christmas" by sabrina carpenter :3
when you left home for college, you were certain you’d outrun the real-life horrors of your past— your parents' scoldings, the shitty food served at your school's cafeteria, the fake people you were surrounded by, and most importantly, your brother's best friend, gojo satoru, who just seemed to get finer with every single passing day.
the man was, for some reason, genetically white-haired all over. yeah, he had albinism, but god, the sight of him was no less than breath-taking. his sparkling, cerulean orbs, which glowed mesmerizingly both under the moonlight and the sun, seemed more and more enchanting with each passing moment. as the years went by with him by your brother's side, you told yourself to look away, refusing to acknowledge the feelings that flickered inside whenever you saw him. you did whatever you could to let go of them— tried to distract yourself with the shittiest of boyfriends, avoided him at school, locked yourself up in your room whenever he came over to hang out with your brother, you name it.
however, it seemed that luck hated, no, despised your embrace no matter how much you yearned for it, considering how the menace was always hovering around, inserting himself into your life at the most inconvenient moments. you're rehearsing for a school play in an empty classroom? the next thing you know, he has an arm propped around your shoulder and smiling at you in the most stupidly handsome way ever with a lollipop in his mouth as he asks you to just... practice with him around. oh, you're trying to get him off of you now? he'll steal your script before you can escape him and raise his hand up as high in the air as possible so you can't reach it. "hey, give it back!" you exclaim, only to be met by a smug smirk on his face and the most annoying "nuh-uh." he completely refuses unless you promise to not kick him out until the practice session is over.
you're walking back home with your brother, suguru? oops, gojo is there too! he's ruffling your hair no matter how pissed you get and yell at him; he only finds joy and pleasure in seeing you in this enraged state. whether he was a sadist, masochist, or simply insane, you did not know.
so, starting college felt like stepping into freedom. no more conversations centered around satoru, no more being so pissed you lose your voice from screaming, and no more late-night sob sessions everytime he got a new girlfriend.
however, it seemed that you'd forgotten that the stars didn't quite align for you, and the universe had decided to remind you of that very fact by ensuring that satoru received enough distinctions to be able to transfer universities. oh, and of course, the one he'd chosen just had to be the one you'd decided to spend the next 4 years of your life in. it wasn't until after you’d moved into your dorm and started your classes that you found out.
the first time you saw him around campus, you were freaked the fuck out. nevertheless, you simply assumed he was visiting a friend or relative and dismissed the sight.
however, much to your dismay, you discovered that he was, in fact, a senior at your college—a 2nd year, to be exact. it wouldn't be an understatement to assume you nearly had a heart attack when you found out, considering how this was the same guy who used to have a 2.6 gpa back in high school. when did he even start taking his studies seriously and lock in hard enough to meet the criteria and eligibility for your university, one of the most prestigious in the entire country? instead of rooting for you, fate just had to be your biggest hater.
every single time you saw him around, gojo would come up to you to exchange greetings and obviously, tease you about the most embarrassing things from your past while his obnoxious fangirls stared you the fuck down, wondering why he's so close to you even though you're just a freshman who should have nothing to do with him.
what surprised you more, however, was that you sometimes shared the same sentiment as them because you were definitely never this close with satoru. not in all the years your brother used to hang out with him, or all the times you'd seen each other on family dinners. sure, he'd teased you plenty, but he had no real concern or curiosity towards you. you found him walking you to classes, treating you to coffee and meals, buying you all the snacks you could ever need during exam preparations and so much more that you could never even list down.
and worst of all, the feelings you'd so desperately pushed away in the past had now creeped their way back into your heart and embedded every inch of your soul even deeper.
it struck you then—satoru’s actions might not be out of pure obligation. that would’ve been far too simple, too detached for someone like satoru. maybe, just maybe, there was something more to it, something unspoken lingering beneath it all. you couldn’t say for sure if it was intentional or not, but whatever it was, it felt personal, like you mattered in a way that went beyond the promises he'd made to your elder brother and family.
but still, you couldn’t help but wonder if it was all just in your head. satoru’s actions, the way he treated you—it didn’t necessarily mean what you thought it did. it could be nothing—satoru’s actions didn’t have to mean anything. maybe you were just fooling yourself, letting your feelings cloud your judgment. so, you buried them as deep as you could, pushing them aside, telling yourself that letting go was the only way to protect yourself from the uncertainty. it was easier to convince yourself that you were just being delusional instead of facing what could be very real.
although, you do seriously question your latter supposition at your annual college christmas eve party when satoru, dressed in the sexiest 3-piece navy blue pinstripe suit with a black tie, has you pinned against the door of the nearest bathroom. if haven't had the opportunity to pay enough attention to his luminous, cerulean eyes up until now, you do at this very moment when he's staring at you like a predator would at it's prey.
"satoru," you let out a breath you weren't aware of holding, "what are you doing?" gojo, whose gaze had shifted down to your lips, let out a chuckle. "oh, so it's satoru now," he murmured, his hand pushing your hair behind your ear. "fine, 'toru..," you pronounce, going back to the nickname you'd started calling him during the while you'd spent with him. "that's more like it." his eyes meet yours again, conveying the desire and thirst that stirred within him— for how long, nobody knows.
the air around you two was thicker than usual, laced with tension as well as something… else. "you still haven't answered my question." upon your words, the white-haired man's face broke out into a cupid-induced smile, the most beautiful you'd ever seen. "well," his right thumb traced the outline of your lips so light as if you'd break from further pressure, "i thought you looked beautiful." what he says renders you speechless, your throat gone dry and your cheeks turning the prettiest shade of rose (in his eyes, at least.) "you always do, but even more so today." and if you weren't already a flustered mess, you would most certainly be now.
your reaction only draws a smirk on his face, and he decides to tease you a little more. "so, on that note, what do you think i'm doing?," his voice lowers as his hand traces its way down to your neck. "i... uh- i don't know... you tell me." satoru grins, only wanting to push you further.
"yeah? how about i show you instead?" and a mere instant later, his lips come crashing down on yours— you couldn't say you hadn't been expecting or anticipating it, but absolutely nothing could prepare you for the way his warm and impossibly soft lips felt against yours. initially, you froze, and you came to realise that all the possibilities you'd once ignored were now very much real.
it wasn't a bad thing— no, nowhere near it, maybe even one of the best that could ever happen to you. however, it did feel like too much of a development to be able to process in a matter of seconds.
upon the realisation that you hadn't responded to his advances, satoru pulled back from the kiss, seeming rather puzzled. "was i wrong?" he inquires, voice lower and deeper than it normally would be.
the melodic sound of his voice is what breaks your trance and serves as your call back to reality. you wanted to say no, reach for his collar, get on your tip-toes and lean in to kiss him, but you were stuck in place. you couldn't find your voice or your words, and it felt like your heels were superglued to the tiles of the bathroom floor.
if it hadn't already been obvious, you'd been yearning for this moment for god knows how long, and now that it was handed to you on a sliver platter, you couldn't simply pass up on it. being well aware of the fact that this encounter could change your and satoru's relationship for either the better or the worse, you took a deep breath, cupped the sides of his face, and tilted your head just enough to be able to kiss the man. your hands gripped the fabric of his shirt in an attempt to pull him even closer, if that was possible.
being the way he is, satoru smiled into the kiss and lowered his hands to your hips. he could tell you were pouring each and every emotion from both the past and the present, and of course, he was doing the same.
it was inevitable, really— now that you could feel his skin against yours, it wasn't too difficult to put the pieces together and figure out that this was all bound to happen, already having been inked into the wondrous book of fate.
and so, for the first time in all the years you'd spent alongside satoru, you could say that the universe was, in fact, rooting for you. the way gojo's lips moved against yours, the way he looked at you like you were the only person in the world when he pulled away, the way the both of you heavily panted but still chased each other's warmth again barely seconds later, are more than enough confirmation.
"no, you weren't," you reply, feeling giddier than you ever had. "i wasn't what?" his hands caress your cheek with a carefulness that was almost unlike him, and your heart felt like it was about to beat out of your chest (in the best way possible.) "you weren't wrong."
"and i'm still not wrong if i do this?" his large hand reached under your clothes and wandered up to your waist, resting over the skin of the region. "or this?" his mouth had reached your neck, leaving kisses-turned-bites all over, which were sure to transform into hickeys.
"no... no, you're not," you let out breathlessly, unable to escape the fire coursing through your veins at the slightest touch. you wanted more, so much more, and satoru was the only one who could fulfil your needs— not that you would have it any other way.
"you sure, pretty?" the corner of his mouth went up, resulting in a lopsided grin— he was obviously teasing you, that was just the way he was and always had been.
"uh-huh," you nod to reaffirm your statement. "good girl," he breathes out, only contributing to the echoes in the parts of your body which ached for him so badly.
his long fingers played and toyed with the hem of your dress, as if to test the waters. when you didn't resist, his hand sneaked up your thigh, gently fondling the skin.
despite the confidence in his actions, he observed every expression on your face cautiously, ensuring that nothing he did hurt you or made you uncomfortable in any way. when you show no signs on unease but instead only desire, he goes on to satisfy and soothe your needs.
his fingers traced their way up your inner thighs and lurked over the already soaked fabric of your underwear, bringing about a chuckle from satoru. "so needy for me already, hm?" he remarks, as if his own pants weren't tightening upon the observation.
"shut up, 'toru..." you're trying to regain your composure and keep up an attitude, but to no avail. the fact that he has you exactly where he wants you isn't helping, either. you're even trying to avoid his gaze, but the way you can feel his presence everywhere makes it impossible to do so— besides, he's making you face him again using his index finger and thumb to hold your chin in between, as he whispers out a "look at me, baby."
and when you do, you have to let out a gasp at the sight of him— his disheveled hair which was perfectly tamed at the start of the night, his half-lidded eyes as he looks at you like you're his entire world and his lips that are now slightly bruised and swollen from the kisses you've shared. it was beyond enough to get you all the more hot and bothered.
oh, but that's not the only factor contributing to the sounds you're making— it's also the way he's pulled your panties to the side and is currently tracing your slit ever so slowly. "want more, princess?" nearly mocking tone.
you hardly even manage to let out a hum before his slender fingers are running over the most sensitive bundle of nerves, eliciting a moan from you. your eyes roll all the way back when one of his digits slides inside you just a moment later— you'd never been this sensitive, but it seems that was going to be entirely different with satoru.
he added one after the other, and now, three of his freakishly large fingers were pumping in and out of you relentlessly— he was so good with them, you could practically taste your orgasm about to wash over you.
"'m close, satoru," you whimper out almost pathetically, and his fingers are going even deeper now, hitting the spots you'd never even dreamt of reaching on your own. "yeah? is my princess gonna cum for me?" his voice is rough and he's groaning as if he's the one receiving the pleasure.
you can only nod as your arousal overwhelms you, white ropes of cum spurting out from your throbbing hole with one final thrust of his fingers. his entire hand was covered in your fluids, which he brought up to his mouth to be able to savor the sweetness of your juices on his tongue. god, he was an obsessed freak when it came to you.
"ew, satoru! why would you do that?" you hold back a giggle, expressing faux disgust at his actions. he only kisses you in response instead of using his words, making sure you get to taste what he'd drawn out of you as well.
"you think suguru's gonna be mad?" he asks, obviously amused at the idea of your brother enraged when he finds out what you and satoru have done. "oh yeah, definitely." he sweetly presses yet another kiss to your lips.
"if it's at the expense of me getting everything i wished for, i don't care, babe."

Welp, I'm cozied up with my tea (and rum), baby's asleep, husband is watching LOTR, so I've got some reading time. Merry Christmas (to me) 😂🎄🥃
A gunshot rang in your ears and hit a tree instead of your head.
Jesus's birthday! We're jumping right into this, and a bullet flying past your head while you're bloody and running through the woods is horrifying 😳
Hoping the boys are close 🤍
Uttering a short scream, you grabbed his shirt and kneed him as hard as you could between the legs. You hoped you crushed his dick and balls.
Yes, girl!!!!!
She's such a badass! Russell would be so proud of her 🥹
“Goddamn, they could be anywhere,” Russell groused, as he and Colter hiked through the forest. He was, admittedly, breathing a bit harder from the trek uphill. “It’s been hours already.” “It’s barely been an hour,” Colter reminded him. And he didn’t look winded in the least.
I snorted so hard 😂😂 Such an accurate Colter moment again 🤍
I loved their little bonding/teasing moment while searching too 🥹
“Just, please be careful,” you warned him again over his shoulder. “These are quite literally hundreds of years old.”
She is so damn cute 😆💕
I'm glad it all worked out and both Charlie and her are okay. Colter watching them with his little secret smile was so adorable too. My heart is full 😭🥹❤️
“Okay, now you can take it, thank you. This thing is heavy,” you said, with a pat on Colter’s shoulder.
Dead. I just love her 😂
“Oh, yeah. I’m like a cockroach. Just keep coming back,” he said.
Damn Charlie... Love yourself a little more, buddy 😅❤️🩹
“No, I mean get better,” he said. “You know you nearly got your sister killed.”
Ooof, I love that Russell is giving him some tough love. He gave him such sage advice too! Charlie sure needs to hear it, and I bet Russell will only too gladly make sure it sticks 😝
“Is it the blonde one—Ken doll? Or the mountain man?”
The Ken doll... I fucking can't with you today 🤣🤣 (The rum might also be kicking in lmao)
So that was just a gesture of gratitude. He hoped you didn’t decide to thank Colter that way.
ALEX!!! 🤣🤣🤣
And then, Russell finally read your meaning. He saw it in your eyes, staring up at him through your lashes.
Finally! I genuinely love how long it took him to catch on 😂
Loved this part! I'm glad Charlie's getting some help and these two finally decided to take the plunge ☺️ Can't wait to see what happens in the last part. I know they still have some things to figure out, but I can't imagine Russell wouldn't be willing to work on some sort of agreement 💚

Part 4: “Mountain Man”
You were running for your life.
Blood dripped down into your line of vision, but you swept it away from your face with a haphazard hand, along with your tears as you nearly stumbled on the path.
A gunshot rang in your ears and hit a tree instead of your head.
Shit! You screamed and ducked, but you kept running…
After you tumbled down the hill, it was a small mercy that you didn’t break any bones when you eventually landed at the bottom. You’d stared up at the sky, winded, your back aching. Until you noticed Rick, one of Eddie’s men. He was sliding down the hill after you.
You didn’t know what happened to your brother after he attempted to push you out of harm’s way. That thought alone gripped your heart like a vice, but you knew you couldn’t stay here on the ground either.
You forced your body to move, whimpering at the pain and stiffness. Shakily you pushed onto your feet and slipped on dead leaves as you went. You moved your legs faster, until you were able to take off running deeper into the forest.
You gasped when your foot caught on a large rock. It sent you crashing into the ground. With your hands still bound, it made pushing yourself back up that much more difficult.
You spat out a couple of leaves. Fuck…
When Rick caught up to you, fear made you jolt into action. You wrapped your gathered hands around the rock that felled you and tossed it at him with all the strength you had. He blocked the projectile with the same hand that held his gun, like an idiot. You really couldn’t be blamed when the gun went off in his face.
He screamed, and so did you on reflex. Though his cheek and brow had been grazed by the bullet, he was lucky he still had both eyes. He blinked a bit of blood out of his left one. You scrambled back onto your feet and meant to keep running, but Rick still managed to surge forward and get a hold of your hair.
Uttering a short scream, you grabbed his shirt and kneed him as hard as you could between the legs. You hoped you crushed his dick and balls.
“Oh, f—” He went down to the ground, sinking onto his knees as he dropped his gun. He glared up at you. “You little bitch!”
You were panting for breath, but you didn’t wait for him to recover and grab his weapon again.
You ran.
You ran, even though you had no idea where you were going. You just knew that you couldn’t stay in one place. But if you couldn’t find your way around a college campus, how the hell were you supposed to navigate the damn Medicine Bow National Forest?
Along with your desperation and fear, tears kept filling your eyes whenever you thought of Charlie.
Please, please, please…
“Goddamn, they could be anywhere,” Russell groused, as he and Colter hiked through the forest. He was, admittedly, breathing a bit harder from the trek uphill. “It’s been hours already.”
“It’s barely been an hour,” Colter reminded him. And he didn’t look winded in the least.
Bastard. Russell glanced at him, but then he focused on the horizon. The sun was finally starting to come up, which was good for them. They could see the trails more clearly.
“Remember when Dad used to make us free-climb the cliffs in Sierra?” Russell asked.
“Yeah,” Colter said. “You used to beat me every time. Wonder what happened to that guy.”
His tone was teasing. Russell shot him a look, half annoyed, and half amused.
“Yeah, well, he turned 40,” Russell replied.
Colter smiled, but both of them paused when they heard a gunshot ring out, followed by two more.
“That was close,” he said.
“Yeah,” Russell agreed, drawing his own gun. Colter did the same, and they hurried up a roaming hill that had Russell briefly peering over the side. In his mind’s eye, he had to shutter away the memory of seeing a body flung over the side in the dark and the rain. Then him looking over the edge of that cliff and recognizing his father’s twisted body.
And Colter, shouting up at him with angry, tearful, accusing eyes.
A male groan broke Russell out of his thoughts as he and his brother came up on a grim scene. Two men laid dead, and another young man with dark hair was lying prone on the ground, clutching his wounded leg. He’d been shot, though a gun also was held tightly in his own hand. He aimed it at the newcomers.
“Charlie?” Colter asked. He recognized the other man from your family photos.
Charlie blinked up at him in surprise, but not without a grim set to his jaw.
“Who the hell are you?” he asked.
Russell let out a subtle breath. Colter was relieved as well.
“I’m Colter. This is my brother, Russell,” he said. “Your sister asked for our help to find you.”
Charlie’s eyes widened. All of them slowly lowered their weapons. Russell gestured at the bodies lying yards away from him.
“I’m guessing one of those guys is Eddie Mendez?” he said.
Charlie nodded, gesturing at the man closest to him with his gun. He groaned at the agony in his right thigh. Colter quickly went to his side and began to wrap a tourniquet around his leg to stem the bleeding.
“Did the bullet go through?” Colter asked.
“I think so,” Charlie replied.
“Where’s your sister?” Russell asked, his impatience evident in his stance and the way he held his gun while scanning his surroundings. His frown deepened when he didn’t see you.
“Oh, fuck!” Charlie said, and not at the pain of Colter wrapping his leg. His eyes were wide with panic. “Rick’s after her. I clipped him, but he slipped by me.”
“Where?” Russell asked. Charlie pointed down the side of the hill.
“Down there. Headed north I think, but I’m not sure,” he said quickly. “Help her, please!”
Russell didn’t need any encouragement. He started down the hill first.
After making sure Charlie was stable for now, Colter followed after his brother a few minutes later.
Russell called your name as he searched through the dense trees. Sunlight was beginning to filter through their leaves in dappled color on the trail. It gave him a better view ahead.
He stopped short when he saw a splatter of blood on the ground, painting the dirt and some dead leaves. A well of unease rose in his gut.
He headed toward the sound of running water, and he soon found another cliff. Just beyond it was a waterfall, and river below. Seeing no signs of life, he pulled back and continued to call your name, and all the while, pushing down his worry.
“Russell?!”
He turned sharply to see you coming out of your hiding place—a large fallen tree. A smile started to raise his lips, but no sooner had he taken one step in your direction, when he almost got a bullet in his head for his trouble.
“Watch out!” you yelled. Rick came out into the clearing and aimed at you next.
“Get down!” Russell shouted.
Without blinking, he shot Rick three times: once in the shoulder, twice in the chest.
The man went down. He was dead before he even met the ground.
It was then that Colter finally caught up. Russell nodded at him, but his focus was on heading for the fallen tree after he stowed his gun.
The moment he took a step over it, you popped up with a yell, ready to smack him with a tree branch. He leaned back raised up his hands in defense.
“Whoa, hey, it’s okay! It’s just me, slugger,” he said with a grin.
You let out a sharp sigh of relief. The branch fell from your loose fingers. As you caught your breath, your mouth trembled, and your eyes filled with tears at the sight of him.
Russell softened. He reached for you.
“Come ‘ere,” he said. Your hands slipped into his, and he helped you over the trunk of the tree. After using his handy pocketknife to cut through the zip ties binding your wrists together, you landed right into his waiting embrace. There, you spilled hot tears into his bulletproof vest.
“It’s okay, sweetheart. I’ve gotcha,” he said. His voice was low and soothing. “You’re okay.”
You raised your head with a desperate question in your eyes.
“Charlie?” you asked.
“Charlie’s okay too,” Russell assured. His hand soothed over your tangled hair and down your back. He could feel you trembling as you rested against him and sobbed. He held you tight, safe, as he rocked you a little from side to side. His own relief was a weight off his chest.
Colter stood by and watched with a secret smile.
With his bare hands clawing into damp soil, Colter dug up the crate Charlie buried near the base of the waterfall. True to his word, it was filled with precious artifacts.
“Just, please be careful,” you warned him again over his shoulder. “These are quite literally hundreds of years old.”
Before Colter could assure you, again, that he’d be careful, you actually set a hand on his shoulder and implored him to move back.
“Matter of fact, sorry, let me do this part,” you said. “I’m the only one who’s really trained to handle these. Plus, your hands are dirty.”
Colter raised a brow, but he obliged you. He glanced over at his brother. Russell just watched in amusement while you opened the crate.
You wished you had gloves on for this, but you supposed it couldn’t be helped. You stopped just shy of touching them—a bow and arrow, three spears, and a couple of knives. Each were crafted with wood and bone, with designs carved and accented in faded red and blue.
“Wow,” you whispered. Your historian heart was singing right now.
You made sure each artifact was intact and hadn’t sustained water damage, then you covered them back up with the lid to the crate.
“Okay, now you can take it, thank you. This thing is heavy,” you said, with a pat on Colter’s shoulder.
His lips played at a smile, but he accepted the responsibility of carrying the crate.
Russell rested a hand on the small of your back to subtly help you back up the hill. You couldn’t help walking closer with him, your arm brushing against his side. You glanced up at him with a smile. He matched you, then looked up ahead.
Charlie was waiting for you all while leaning against a tree. He still looked like utter hell—cut up, bruised, bloody, and now shot in the leg. You went to his side and gently grabbed his arm.
“God, Charlie. You sure you’re okay?” you asked. He curled an arm around your shoulders and flashed you a familiar grin.
“Oh, yeah. I’m like a cockroach. Just keep coming back,” he said.
You had to agree with that, laughing through the spark of your tears. Russell came on his other side and shouldered most of your brother's weight off his bad leg.
“Okay, here we go. One step at a time,” Russell said.
Slowly, painfully, Charlie managed to make it back to Colter’s truck with you and Russell supporting him. Colter brought up the rear with the artifacts in tow.
And behind you all, the sun broke more fully across the dewy trees in a morning swathed with orange and gold.
After Colter drove you and Charlie to the hospital, he and Russell took off again soon after to do something with the three bodies hidden under a tarp in the bed of the pickup truck. The thought made you shudder, along with the fact that the Shaw brothers knew how to hide bodies.
But you supposed it was better than the alternative.
As it was, you, Colter, and Charlie had to lie to the hospital staff about how you both had earned your injuries—in a brutal mugging, where Colter was able to scare off the men that got the jump on you and Charlie.
"I never saw their faces," as he'd later told the police, while the nurses prepped him for surgery. "I just tried to protect my sister the best I could."
You backed him up on the story, even as the lie felt bitter on your tongue and made you nervous (especially when you thought of poor Dr. Feinman).
Despite that little break-in at the museum yesterday, you'd never been good at being a rule breaker. Fortunately, Colter's calmness when he gave his corroborating statement helped you. Like Russell, he was a solid, anchoring presence...if in a different way.
For the crate of relics, Colter advised Charlie to ship them back to the museum anonymously. It would be the easiest way to encourage the police to lose steam on looking for who took them in the first place. You and your brother begrudgingly agreed, even if you had a secret thought of sending the artifacts to the NMAI. Maybe you could convince Charlie to send them there instead, or to one of the local Native American tribes here in Wyoming.
Hours later, however, you were able to finally be with your brother when he came out of surgery. In that time, your own bruises and the cut above your brow had been tended to in the Emergency Department. Now, you sat by his bedside while he slept off the anesthesia. You stroked his scuffed hand on the bed.
He really was a mess, you thought, as a tear rolled down your cheek. But he was alive. That was what mattered now.
A quiet knock at the door had you looking up, and then smiling to see Russell.
“Hey,” you said quietly, and in surprise. “Everything…went well?”
Russell’s lips quirked. “Yeah, we’re all set.”
No one would be finding those bodies anytime soon. He had a buddy in Denver, Colorado who happened to be a cremator. It was only a couple hours over from Laramie. He and Colter had just gotten back from driving the bodies there.
Before Colter drove over to Dory's apartment next, both to check on her and to fill her in on everything, he'd dropped Russell off at your house so he could get his car. He hadn’t felt right about leaving you in the hospital by yourself, even if you did have your brother.
Not without saying goodbye, at least.
“You know, I need to ask his doctor a question about his post-op care,” you said, gesturing at Charlie. “Can you stay with him for a minute while I go find a nurse?”
“Sure,” Russell agreed. You smiled gratefully and touched his arm as you passed him.
When you were gone, it left a heavy silence in your wake. Russell looked over at Charlie’s sleeping form. Russell sighed and sunk down into the chair beside the bed. He rubbed his tired face with both hands.
Shit. Now that he thought about it, he could’ve just told Colter to bring Dory here. He pulled out his phone to call his sister, when a low groan caught his attention.
Aw geez. What kinda timing, Russell thought, as he realized Charlie was waking up. His eyes slowly slid open, brows furrowing at the bright lights above him, then at the man beside him.
“Hey, man,” Russell said. “You’re okay. You’re in the hospital.”
“Yeah, I figured,” Charlie said, with another groan as he tried to stretch his body. He found he couldn’t yet move his leg. As awareness blinked back into his eyes, he settled on Russell with resignation.
“Thank you,” he said. “What you did for me, for her…I sure as hell didn’t deserve it, but thank you for saving her.”
Russell shook his head. “No need. Just get better.”
“Yeah. The doc says in a few months, I’ll be able to learn how to walk again,” Charlie said.
Russell gave him a firmer look.
“No, I mean get better,” he said. “You know you nearly got your sister killed.”
Charlie’s gaze fell. His face tightened, but really, he couldn’t even be upset at the accusation. He knew it was true, and his guilt already threatened to consume him. He also knew he should be in jail for what he’d done, and what he’d facilitated for months. After what nearly happened in the past twenty-four hours, he wasn’t sure how you could ever forgive him.
“Look, I served too. I know what you’re going through, being back here,” Russell said. “It feels wrong and right, don’t it?”
After a beat, Charlie nodded. “What branch?”
“Special Ops. I hear you were a pilot, Captain.”
“Yeah, I was,” Charlie said, his eyes lowering. “Now…now I don’t know what I am.”
“You’re her brother,” Russell said. Both his tone and his gaze all but demanded that the other man look him in the eyes. “Not her father or her son, her brother. I know you’ve been struggling. But I think you already know what you need to do, and figure out who you’re gonna be today, tomorrow, and the next.”
Charlie took in those words, and tried not to chafe at them coming from a near stranger. He knew, deep down, that all of it was right.
You came in a moment later with two cups of coffee. You brightened with a gasp when you saw that Charlie was awake.
“Hey.” He found a smile for you. You gave Russell the coffee you’d brought for him, but you quickly set yours down on the rolling tray so you could sit beside your brother.
Russell stepped out to give you two some privacy. You thanked him again and watched him go. Then, you turned back to Charlie with a tearful smile.
“How’re you feeling?” you asked.
“Have I said how much I love morphine?” Charlie remarked.
You rolled your eyes and took his hand in yours. “Yeah, how can I forget your thing for hard drugs.”
That hit sharper than a mere joke. His eyes fell away from yours. You sighed and bit your lip.
“I’m sorry,” you said. Charlie shook his head and covered your hand with his.
“No, I’m sorry. For everything I’ve put you through. And I don’t just mean today,” he said. “I’m going to make it up to you.”
“All that matters is that you’re here, and you’re going to be fine,” you said. “I’ve already put together a list of what you’re going to need when we bring you home—”
Charlie stopped you with a squeeze of your hand.
“I’m not going home just yet,” he said.
“Well, no, not until they discharge you, but—”
Again, he gently cut you off. “You were right. I need treatment, and not just for this damn leg.”
He swept a hand through his hair and sighed.
“When they let me out of here, I’m going back to rehab,” he said. “After that, we’ll see.”
Tears stung in your eyes…but you nodded in relief. You held both of his hands then.
“You’re not doing this alone,” you told him. “I’ll be with you, every step.”
Charlie let out a self-deprecating chuckle. He felt he didn’t deserve that, but he smiled at you.
“I know. You’ll be nagging me in my head, even when you’re not there,” he said. You smirked and brushed his greasy hair away from his face.
“Damn straight,” you replied. “I’ve finally become Mom.”
Charlie shook his head in amusement, but he leveled you with a pointed finger.
“But for now, you need to go home and get some rest,” he said.
You reluctantly agreed with that too. After a full twenty-four hours without sleep, you realized that you were exhausted. You leaned over and pressed a kiss to his cheek.
“I love you,” you said. “I’ll come back to see you tomorrow.”
“Good. Love you too,” said Charlie. His eyelids were starting to droop from the pain medication, but he forced himself to stay awake for a little while longer. He even helped you back onto your feet with a guiding hand on your back. “Wait, is someone staying with you tonight? I don’t want you to be alone.”
You grabbed up your purse. “Don’t worry. I think I’ve got that covered.”
Your brother quirked a suspicious smile at the look on your face. The one you tried to hide from him when you noticed his scrutiny.
“What, is it one of those guys who helped us?” he asked. “Is it the blonde one—Ken doll? Or the mountain man?”
Of course he knew their names, but he just wanted to mess with you. He could already see you getting flustered while you twisted the strap of your purse between your fingers and glanced at the door.
“What? No! Just go to sleep. Take advantage of the morphine while you’ve got it,” you said. “Don’t worry. I’ll call Dory.”
Charlie leveled you with a look. “Mhmm.”
He pulled the blanket higher on his chest and watched you leave. When the door swung open, he saw Russell leaning against the wall, waiting for you.
Charlie huffed. He should’ve known.
Okay, mountain man.
That was the last thought he had before he drifted off.
You left your brother’s room just about overwhelmed with a maelstrom of emotions. However, the moment you saw Russell waiting for you, leaning against the wall with his hands in his pockets, it all distilled into one simple thing.
He met your gaze and started to smile.
You smiled back, and you went to him.
You reached up to frame his face with both hands, and you searched for something in his eyes. They were tinged with surprise, but he waited on you, wondering what you were about to do.
When you thought you found what you were looking for, you raised up on your toes and pressed your lips to his.
His hands unconsciously found your waist and held you to him. He met your lips in kind, and even deepened the connection. Your fingers slipped into his hair, lightly dragging your nails against his scalp. He hummed in pleasure.
When your lips eventually parted from his, it was still too soon, he thought. Russell stared down at you with a question in his eyes—one he couldn’t help voicing.
“What was that for?” he asked.
“Thank you,” you whispered. “Thank you for everything.”
Ah… Russell’s smile evened out and faded slightly.
So that was just a gesture of gratitude. He hoped you didn’t decide to thank Colter that way.
“You don’t need to thank me,” Russell said. “I’m glad Charlie’s all right.”
“No, I do need to. So thank you,” you said. Your hands drifted down his chest, plucking at the edge of his jacket.
“I don’t really want to be alone today, to be honest,” you admitted. “Would you…want to…keep me company for a while? You could rest up at my place.”
Russell’s brows raised. His lips curved.
“Well, sure. I could do that. Your couch seemed pretty comfortable,” he said.
“You don’t have to stay on the couch,” you replied.
And then, Russell finally read your meaning. He saw it in your eyes, staring up at him through your lashes.
Maybe that kiss was exactly what he thought it meant. His smile became more genuine.
“Well, okay,” he said eventually. He wrapped an arm around your waist. “Let’s get you home then.”
You leaned against his side and gave him a lazy salute. “Aye, aye, Captain.”
He shook his head. His smile deepened into a grin.
“You’re a little delirious, aren’t you?” he asked.
“Probably need some water,” you said with a giggle. “And God, I’m starving.”
Russell laid a gentle kiss to the side of your head that wasn’t bruised.
“All right, we’ll take care of that too,” he said.
“You know what I’m craving?” you asked. He looked down at you questioningly, and again he found your smile.
“Sriracha fries,” you said.
Russell busted out laughing at that. He fist-pumped the air with his free hand.
“Hell, yeah.”
For that, and much more, he would count today as a win.
AN: There we go! A nice fluffy finish for you. How did you like how Charlie's arc wrapped up, along with her reunion with Russell? 💜
But just wait. We're not quite done yet...
Next Time:
He took in your hesitant face, then the pretty dress you had on. The color matched your eyes. Soulful eyes.
He smiled when you let him see them again.
“Can you see the bruises? I think I covered them up well enough,” you said. You turned to look at yourself in the mirror again, touching your jaw carefully.
Russell’s hand raised to find your cheek, earning your attention with wider eyes. His thumb swept across your skin as you started to blush.
“You’re beautiful,” he said with a smile. “Don’t you worry about that.”
Your face warmed further, despite your smile.
“Yeah, the makeup helps,” you quipped.
“I didn’t say anything about makeup,” he replied. Though he grinned and made a show of looking closer at your face. “Although, have your lashes always been that damn long?”
You laughed, but he didn’t let go of you.

Pairing: Hyunjin X gn reader
Summary: You're struggling with a past sibling relationship when Hyunjin takes notice.
Genre: Comfort/hurt
Word Count: 2.4K
Domestic abuse resources
Trigger warning: Insecurities, anxiety, domestic abuse, verbal abuse, descriptions of injuries from physical abuse, and grieving sibling-related trauma.
A/N: This is a request from quite a while ago and I hope you know that you deserved so much better than what you dealt with. I hope this hits the mark and I hope you have a good holiday that's full of love and appreciation. If nobody else is going to tell you, I will. I appreciate you and thank you for sticking around, even though you've fought internal silent battles <3
_ _ _
Australia was much warmer than you expected. The deep blue sky layered with cotton clouds and even though it was December, the temperatures were still pretty warm. You could get away with wearing a t-shirt and shorts without much of an issue.
The Stray Kids members were on tour and since you and Hyunjin were a thing, you were offered an invite. You declined in the beginning, but Hyunjin begged and pleaded, even going as far as getting down on his knees and bowing to you. With his head level with the tip of your toes, he patted the top of your bare feet and said all the right words.
When you finally agreed, he picked you up and swung you around. Laughter fell from your lips and he grinned. “We’re going to have so much fun! Just you wait! You’re going to love Australia, it’s my second home!”
That was a few weeks ago and here you were now. Your fingers curled against Hyunjin’s hands as the two of you walked in the direction of the beach. Felix and Chan had been raving about the water. Salt has been in their bloodstream since birth.
Growing up near the azure colored water, their families often took them to beaches to cool off. Beneath the scorching sun, the warm water provided much needed relief. The memories of their youth-filled days stuck to the sides of their brains. Coming back to the Pacific Ocean, it was finally like coming back home.
The rest of the band members had scattered off in different directions. Minho and Han ventured towards a less noisy area of the beach. Seungmin and Jeongin padded after them. Changbin screeched, stuck his hands up, and took off towards the rolling waves.
Beside you, Hyunjin chuckled and shook his head. “We have our own beaches and yet, it’s like he’s never seen one before.”
“It’s the Pacific Ocean,” you joked, “that makes it special.”
“Yeah, I guess.”
You watched Changbin rush the waves and dive in head-first. The smile on your face began to disappear when you heard a scream from your right. Your head whipped over and it was there that you found Chan’s younger sister running away from him.
“Get back here!” Chan yelled. He propelled after her with his arms outstretched. His bare feet kicked up sand as he chased her. Her laughter mixed with the sound of waves. “Hannah, get back here!”
Felix’s own sisters shared a mischievous glance. The older one began to grin and when Felix realized it, his eyes widened. “Oh no, wait a minute, please don’t-”
“You better start running for your life.”
He rushed around and took off sprinting. “Bang Chan! Help me! Hyung, save me! Save me!”
His sisters laughed and took off after him. Chan glanced over his shoulder and when he did, his own sister took advantage of this. She shifted directions and began to sprint back after him.
What started as a simple joy, turned into a complex game of cat and mouse. The three girls ran after Felix and Chan while sharing giggles. Olivia, Rachel, and Hannah had been close for a while. It was easy to share the longing and loneliness of missing their brothers.
Hannah and Chan had a younger brother, but he wasn’t the same as having an older brother. Hannah grew up with her older brother and then he disappeared. It was difficult to be so young and fathom that your older brother was hundreds of miles away.
For Olivia and Rachel, it was the same way. Felix was the middle child and smothered with love and taunts. As the only brother, it was foreign to have him there all the time and then disappear to follow his dreams.
Each sibling had their own lives and their own goals. Despite that, when they all visited with each other, they tried to make as many memories as possible. Who knew when the next visit would be.
Your fingers were still entangled with Hyunjin’s hand while you watched them. Changbin realized his band members were being chased by their siblings and he gasped. He sprinted out of the waist-high water and rushed towards them.
“Felix! Channie-hyung! Hold on! I’m coming!”
Hyunjin’s fingers untangled from yours and he reached down to get his phone. He wanted to capture this moment and send it to the guys later. This was something they’d be able to look back on and laugh about.
Too distracted by capturing the moment, he didn’t realize you walked away from him. You turned your back and began to head away from the laughter and fun. Your arms wrapped around your torso and you sucked in a deep breath.
You had an older brother once upon a time too. Unfortunately, your time together wasn’t remembered with fond conversations and melodic laughter. Instead, when you thought back upon it, you remembered the worst parts.
You remembered the harsh insults that were spat at you. As if you weren’t formed in the same womb and shared the same half of your parents. Words stung, but being backhanded and knocked to the floor hurt much worse.
Once upon a time, you had a brother that you loved more than anything, but as the formative years began to progress, so did his hatred for you. What you did, you didn’t know, but you knew the harshness of a man.
The betrayal of blood that tastes like iron. Bright crimson staining your cracked open bottom lip. It’s a plum purple and a darkening blue. A touch of brown that’s sprouting a rotten yellow amongst the edges.
You asked that question over and over and over again. He moved out months ago, but the hurt still lingered. That harshness stapled to your soul and each time you tried to peel it back, to remind yourself that you deserved better, the rusty staples still clung. You hadn’t figured out how to feel worth it yet.
When you looked into Hyunjin’s dark eyes, sometimes there was a tug on your heart. A cupped fear always lingered deep down. Would he eventually see you as your brother had? Something not worth fighting for? Someone so disposable that it wouldn’t hurt to let go?
Old wounds scabbed over and healed, but the scars never left. When you laid down in your bed and snuggled next to Hyunjin’s warmth, you could still feel the phantom pain every now and then. The way the tangled carpet strands brushed against your bare knees and wore away the top layer of your delicate skin. The pain that shot through your elbow and lingered in your shoulder when you hit the ground.
Your brother’s untamed anger was uncontrollable. He was a vicious beast that would launch at you any moment. Whether it was verbally or physically, he’d beat you down without a second thought.
Maybe your parents knew or maybe they just didn’t care. Maybe they too were ashamed and disappointed by the child that they raised. The two of you shared the same womb, but your brother viewed you as if you grew up in a womb of venom. It seeped into your bloodstream along the way and poisoned your entire sense of self.
He darkened your childhood and the days that should have been full of wonder and entertainment were instead filled with fear and anxiety. Every time you interacted with him, you never knew what lay ahead. The unknown future brought you more anxiety than you ever could have possibly imagined.
You grew up. You moved out. You lived your own life, but the hurt still lingered. When you tried to go back home, your throat closed up. Your adult body remembered that adolescent fear. Your knees wobbled and tears pricked your eyes. Your brain screamed at you to stop.
You moved far away and tried to forget, but it was moments like these where you truly struggled. You wanted to be happy. You knew Chan and Felix were good brothers, but there was resentment tucked behind your heart. Why couldn’t your brother be a good brother too?
Hanging around Hyunjin, you hung out with members of the band too. So many members had siblings and they were decent brothers. Changbin always tried to meet up with his sister to have a meal together every now and then. He always paid for it without complaint.
When Seungmin went back home to his parents house, his older sister babied him. He swore that he hated it, but deep down, you knew that he appreciated it. He still liked to be cared for.
Chan and Felix were constantly updated with their siblings. Han liked to taunt and tease his older brother for the fun of it. Jeongin actively liked to find items for his brothers and save them until it was a holiday season or their birthdays.
Hyunjin and Minho were the only members without siblings. Even without siblings, they didn’t know what it was like to face abuse from them. They didn’t have to worry about coming home from school and facing the wrath of the devil.
“Are you crying?”
The sudden voice caused you to open your eyes. In front of you, Hyunjin frowned and studied your face. He reached up with his thumb and gently wiped away a fallen tear.
You mumbled an apology and stepped back. With a sniffle, you wiped your arm across your eyes. The scent of coconut sunblock hit your nose. Chan wouldn’t let any of you outside without some sort of sun protection. The Australian sun was scorching and you burnt easily.
“Did something happen?” He reached out and grabbed your arm. Slightly lifting it, he inspected your body for some sort of damage. “Did you fall and get hurt?”
“No.” You shook your head and pulled away. “I was just thinking about some stuff. It’s kind of stupid, really.” Your eyes went down to the sand and you curled your toes. They dug into the white sand and disappeared.
“It’s not stupid if it’s causing you to cry.”
“I was just watching everything down there and needed a moment. Felix and Chan are good brothers. They’re having so much fun down there and I’m happy for them.”
“But?” He raised an eyebrow.
“I had a brother too, but he wasn’t like that. He was mean and cruel.” You wiped away another forming tear before it fell. “I just wish my brother could have been more like them and less like he really was.”
“I’m sorry that he wasn’t who you needed him to be.”
You shrugged and tried to swallow the lump in your throat. “It doesn’t really matter. What’s done is done and nothing can change it. Life goes on, the earth keeps spinning, and the sun still shines.”
You glanced over his shoulder. All three of the guys and the girls were now in the water. They were splashing each other with water. Hannah splashed foamy waves at Chan. He spit the water back out at her and she shrieked. “You jerk!”
When Felix sent water her way, his own sisters teamed up against him. One disappeared beneath the shallow water while the other distracted him with splashes. He yelped as his ankle was grabbed. Caught off guard, he tipped into the water. Olivia broke the water giggling as Felix flailed with a yell.
“You know, I didn’t grow up with any siblings, but I met the guys. They might not be related to me through blood, but we’re definitely related through our experiences and our careers.”
He cautiously reached out an arm and wrapped it around your shoulders. Your head shifted to the side and laid upon his shoulders. He brushed a piece of hair behind your ear and didn’t take his eyes off you.
“If you want them to be, they can be the brothers you never had too. You’re already taken by me, so they already view you as a family member.”
“Why does it feel like you’re lying to make me feel better?”
“If you didn’t mean anything to me, I wouldn’t have brought you on this trip. Although we’re not from Australia, it’s special to all of us. Felix and Chan left this place to take chances and follow their dreams. That’s not something that any of us forget about. They left their families to take a huge chance and along the way, they found us.”
“I wouldn’t have shared this experience with you if I didn’t love you. You can let them in and lean on them if you need to. You’re part of our lives and you help us out if needed. The least that we can do is care about you.”
You blinked rapidly as your vision blurred. Tears began to fill up as you thought about the moments you shared with the guys. Just this morning, you helped Minho make everyone breakfast.
The two of you laughed and joked around in the kitchen. When you accidentally cut yourself with a pairing knife while chopping vegetables, he lightly lectured you, cleaned the cut, and bandaged it.
Once he finished, he showed you the proper way to hold the knife, so you didn’t catch your fingers with the blade. Once he was satisfied and sure you weren’t bleeding through the bandage, he left you, so he could go back to preparing the meat.
“I don’t think I deserve you all sometimes,” you finally uttered weakly.
“And at times, I feel the same way about you. So what are you waiting for? Come on!” he held his hand out towards you. “Your brothers are waiting.”
When you didn’t move quick enough. He grabbed you and tossed you over his shoulder. You shrieked and gripped the back of his shirt. “Hyunjin! What are you-”
He laughed and hauled you back to the water. “Felix, look what I caught!” He dropped you into the water and you gasped as warmth caught you. “Sick ‘em!”
“Leave them alone!” Rachel howled.
The three girls approached you to form a protective shield. Chan, Felix, Changbin, and Hyunjin began splashing the water. You shrieked and ducked behind the girls to take cover. Water splashed in every direction.
Since Hyunjin was taller, he could see over the girls. When he did, he caught the smile on your face. Despite the rocky waves and their splashing, you were holding up just fine. The aching sadness replaced itself with comfort.
You fit right in, like the final piece of the missing puzzle.

ATLANTA, GA
The smell of hair straighteners burning through each bundle filled Lee with some sort of comfort, knowing she was going to walk out of this salon with a fresh do and a check on her maintenance to-do list.
It wasn’t that exciting of a race that she’d have to go to in a few days time. Austria. Not always the most fun of grand prixs but it fills a gap for the ever growing f1 calendar. She looked straight ahead at the mirror watching the hairstylist work her magic in the prestigious looking salon Lee had seen on instagram.
The stylists here were nosy, trying to be all up in people’s businesses including that of customers. Lee had no time to take no bullshit but she knew the lady was still working on her head, something she knew she couldn’t afford to mess up. Her phone became boring after some time even seeing a few messages from her assistant and her niece’s babysitter/ au pair.
“Hold up, hold up!” A voice yelled out in the salon with excitement in the tone. “Don’t I know you from somewhere, girl?”
Lee hoped and prayed that they weren’t talking to her. They couldn’t be. She wasn’t all that known except in the f1/sports community. “Yeah, you look real familiar, girl!” And in the corner of her eye, she saw another hairstylist plop down on the seat next to her with the biggest grin on her face. “Kya! Remember that girl I showed you with that fine ass man two weeks ago?” The lady shouted over to someone else.
Oh God. Lee immediately knew what this was about. It’s all anyone recognised her for the past few weeks. During the week of the Canadian Grand Prix, someone compiled a bunch of vids that included Lee and the sport’s greatest, Lewis Hamilton lookin cozy. First, it was the camera pointed to Lee during the race and of course she had to admit, her makeup looked good that day.
Then it was when a couple of fans saw them walking together through the paddock to their respective cars, laughing and a hug that lasted a little longer than usual and that had the internet going ballistic.
Forcing a smile, Lee gathered the energy to speak when the lady was done speaking. “Yeah! That’s her! That nigga looked rich, girl. That’s your man or what because if not, a sister could use a little lovin.” The woman laughed, causing a ripple effect in the salon, hairstylists and patrons alike.
To be messy or to not be messy? It’s not like she’s ever going to see these people ever again.
“We’re not a thing. He’s just a close friend but if you want, I’ll put in a good word for ya.” Lee spoke, already feeling the heat of the hot comb a little too close to her scalp through the wig cap.
The woman stared at her then smiled. “You a real one! And your accent is cute as hell.” She got up and left Lee’s side to her other friends and Lee sighed in relief. She’s been asked that very question one too many times in the past few weeks.
Sitting for another 30 minutes, Lee finally got up, paid and left the salon feeling all brand new. Of course she spared smiles and laughs with the hairstylists but she’s never wanted to get out of there quicker. The noise and heat was just overstimulating her senses. She still tipped though, you don’t get champagne at every hair salon.
“Yes, Santana?” Lee answered the phone, settling into her car seat of her rental. She’ll admit it, she did splurge on the rental but it’s not like she had anything to lose. Although the Maybach did fuel some unnecessary rumours.
“Lee, oh my goodness! I’ve been trying to reach you. Anyways, Lewis’ publicist and I were speaking and he’d like for you to speak in his segment for Drive to Survive in Austria. He arranged a whole thing.” Santana spoke through the phone, sounding like she was in the city.
Pinching the bridge of her nose, she thought over of it for a second. “You know what? Sure. I know there’s gonna be a bit of a schedule change though for me, right?” Lee asked, fastening her seatbelt and connecting her phone to the car speaker so she could pull out of the parking space.
“Yeah, you’d be missing that SkySports segment with Danica about Red Bull and VCARB. So it’s all up to you-”
“Absolutely cancel that shit. I’ll speak to Lewis more about the deets but thank you, Santana. See you at the airport, yeah?” She turned into a drive thru of some fast food restaurant, she was too hungry to even focus.
The two wrapped up the convo and within 10 minutes, Lee got her food. Deciding to not eat in the car, she sped through to her airbnb and hopped out. Setting her phone on the kitchen island, she facetimed Lewis rather so she could eat.
“You still in Spain? I know those clouds from anywhere.” She joked once the call connected and she could see his confused face pop up on the screen. “Matter of fact, I’m in London but I’ll let you have that one.” Lewis smiled, finding a spot to sit down so he could have her whole attention.
“Listen, I’m hearing that you wanted me to speak with Netflix?” Lee unpacked her food order and laid it out in front of her.
He furrowed his eyebrows a bit before realising what she was talking about. “Oh um, yeah. Wanted to get through to you professionally and all that. Need someone on my side, y’know?” He cleared his throat, making his voice slightly raspy.
“My whole career is based around supporting you, Lewis. So I don’t mind, you know I got it. They want me to say some shit about your move to Ferrari?” Lee looked at the screen as she drank her soda.
Lewis nodded, his eyes slightly squinted under his cap. “I know it’s been a recurring topic but I just wanted someone who’ll be positive all the way through the segment.” He scratched his beard.
“Okay, no problem. I’ll talk to those directors then because they tried to talk to me earlier. You know I was supposed to work with Danicka before I heard of your thing?” Lee chuckled in disbelief, biting into a spoonful her grilled chicken bowl.
“You look good.” He spoke, smiling when he saw her being taken aback at his compliment. “Thank you? I got my hair done today, this is what Austria will see on their screens. But did you hear what I said?” Lee raised her eyebrow at the man.
Lewis chuckled before answering. “I heard, love but I don’t want to talk about her or any of them. Tell me, how are you getting to Austria?”
Pausing her hand on the spoon, she looked at him. “No, Lewis, I will not be flying with you. We’ve already got enough rumours as it is. Plus, I don’t wanna step on nobody’s toes.” Lee went back to stabbing through her food.
“Should I ask you again? I rather like the back and forth with you.” Lewis giggled, seeing her eyes dart to the screen once again. “Whatever you say, I’ll just smile and nod.”
She rolled her eyes. He was unbelievable. “Whatever you say, Mr Hamilton. I’ll see you in Austria next week.” Lee smiled, eating another spoonful of her food. He sighed and now it was his turn to roll his eyes at her stubbornness.
The two continued speaking on the Netflix interviews and how the directors would twist their words for the sake of good television. The conversation didn’t last too long because Lewis had other things to tend to whilst Lee would appreciate eating her lunch peacefully without him teasing her about looking like a chipmunk while she had food in her mouth.
-
RED BULL RING, AUSTRIA
Her heels were surprisingly comfortable for their first wear. The small chair that Netflix provided was a bit cold but luckily she didn’t have to be there for too long before she returned to SkySports to film something within the paddock.
The film crew assistant’s hands were shaking as he tried to mic Lee up. Because of how much time it took to get the mic strapped, some people got the nerve to walk up to her in her most peaceful time in the paddock.
“You know, I’ve always thought you looked super intimidating with your heels on! Like you’re a villain or something.” A loud, agitating voice with a side of clacking sandals invaded her personal space even more than the man strapping up the mic on her back.
Sighing and rolling her eyes, Lee gave Danicka a sharp look, one that said ‘shut up or you’ll get your ass beat’, and fixed the sleeves or her blazer. It didn’t take too long for everything to be set before beginning her solo segment on something the RedBulls were doing this weekend.
Damn, I need a shot. Or more money to motivate me
So focused on her inner thoughts while watching the playback video of her segment, she got knocked out of it by a tap on her shoulder. Once she felt the tap and it awoke her senses, she also heard the cheers and murmurs surrounding her. It could only be one person.
“Good morning, Lewis.” Lee said to her dear friend, who loved to do this surprising thing lately, as she stood up straight. The man was always in awe when he locked eyes with her. “Mornin’ Lee. I’ll see you later for our thing, yeah?” He smiled, his eyes probably crinkling behind his sunglasses.
“We have a thing?” Her eyebrows furrowed, her nose scrunching up a tiny bit before letting go. A little trait of hers that Lewis loves so much. “You need to check your emails more, sweetheart.” He winked, she just knew he did, behind the designer sunnies before walking away, tucking his hands back into his pockets.
What she could not explain was why her stomach did the thing when he winked. When she smelled his delicious cologne and surprisingly loving his Adam Sandler-esque tracksuit.
“Uh Lee? Are you okay?” The cameraman, Josh, stood up straight and asked his friend in concern. Snapping out of it, she looked at Josh. “Huh? Oh, yeah I’m good. Just fine.” She reassured him, looking back at the direction Lewis went, knowing very well that he left a while ago.
Josh then had a smirk on his face. “Right. What’d your boyfriend say?” He teased, feeling a smack on his arm a second later. “Don’t start with me, Josh. Don’t even think about it, yoh.” She warned, stepping back to the front of the camera to finish up her work.

sweet, sweet gifts
hughes!sister x will smith au (samy + will)
part 2 to sweet, sweet memories where some pretty special gifts are exchanged!
wc: 2.4k
merry christmas to everyone who celebrates today! here is the part 2 to probably one of my favorite fics i've written for this au! i know a lotttt of people have done the tattoo initials before, but i really wanted to join the trend and can totally see samy + will doing this for one another:) but happy holidays!!
au masterlist
both families were gathered around the living room taking turns exchanging gifts after the extravagant wake up and cleaning up all the silly string. the hughes siblings started first with their sibling gift exchange where every year they would pick names out of a hat like secret santa. the parents and smiths watched in amusement as the four huddled in a circle together.
"alright, go ahead and pass," ellen smiled and the siblings quickly exchanged their gifts to who they got. samy passed hers over to jack, jack passed to luke, luke passed to quinn, and quinn passed to samy.
"i fucking knew you got me," jack mumbled in a small smirk as he admired his sister's signature reindeer wrapping paper.
"what? you make luke tell you who he got so you could do process of elimination?" samy giggled.
"hey, it's hard when we live together," the middle brother defended himself and samy just rolled her eyes.
"okay, youngest opens first. open your gift," quinn poked her knee and the girl grinned. she quickly tore through quinn's vancouver blue wrapping paper. it was a rather big box so she wondered what he got her that could be so big.
when she got down to the cardboard box she grew even more curious, reaching for the scissors to cut into the heavy cardboard. finally, she got to the bottom where a white frame facing down revealed itself. the girl carefully lifted it from the box, flipping it over while jack and luke leaned forward to see what it was. quinn sat beside her nervously awaiting her reaction to what became a very sentimental gift.
"oh my god. is this all of my state wins and my recent win?" samy examined each of her game winning photo reactions collaged together into one big picture frame.
"yup, i asked mom for the pictures. i figured you'd want a huge photo of them all together," quinn explained and samy reached over to embrace him in a hug.
"thanks, quinny. i love it. it's so sentimental," the girl hummed and flipped it around so everyone could see better.
"wow, what a gift, quinn," jim nodded.
"it came out so well, i'm so glad," ellen grinned.
"good luck getting that back on the plane," luke snickered and quickly tore into his gift next. the others watched as he shredded the devils red wrapping paper—each sibling seemingly matching their wrapping paper to their team colors this year. jack had a big grin on his face which could only mean so many things from him because he was the master at gag gifts.
out came a little box and luke's eyes widened when he realized what it was. the other siblings leaned in to see, "holy shit, it's me!" the second youngest exclaimed.
he flipped it around so everyone could see him as a little funk pop dressed in his new jersey devils uniform holding his hockey stick. "oh my god! that's adorable!" ellen gushed.
"how'd you even do that?" samy wondered and admired her brother in a box.
"a few emails back and forth with the company. they were more than happy to do it," jack explained.
"this is actually sick, rowdy. thanks," luke patted his brother's back where they exchanged a small hug.
"his frontal lobe must be developing if he didn't get a gag gift this year," samy teased making her brother roll his eyes.
"okay you next," luke nudged jack and the boy quickly tore into the wrapping paper.
samy watched with a smile, hoping jack would like his gift. the reindeer wrapping paper went flying as the middle brother tore through it and luke caught a glimpse of the gift first, his eyes widening.
"no fucking way," jack said when he saw what it was. he pulled it out further so everyone could see the two water guns and now everyone's eyes widened.
"you always say how you want more water guns, so i went ahead and got some for you. you can use them on luke back in jersey or at the lake house," the girl explained.
"no, not at me. save that for the summer," luke quickly shook his head making everyone else laugh.
"this is fucking sick, thanks pop," jack reached over to hug her.
"glad you like them. i know yours wasn't really a gag gift, but i wanted to gag gift you back," everyone shared a laugh and finally, it was quinn's turn.
the oldest hughes was a pretty simple guy and never wanted much, so he looked surprised when luke pulled out a rather large gift for him. because he was such a simple guy, sometimes the siblings struggled what to get him because he never wanted much.
"now, technically i did get you, but we all kind of put thought into this," luke explained making the older boy raise his eyebrow. he glanced at his parents who only shrugged because they had no idea.
they watched in anticipation as quinn carefully opened his gift. it looked similar to samy's with the big white picture frame, but when he flipped it over, the older boy was pleasantly surprised with what he saw.
at the top of the frame was a picture of all of them together at the game quinn was officially named captain of the canucks. beneath the picture was one of his jersey's where the C was proudly displayed on the top right corner. all around the picture were hand written notes from all of his siblings telling him how proud they were of him. quinn's eyes quickly watered, not expecting such sweet gift. the others nervously watched his reaction.
"q, that's so sweet," ellen broke the silence first as she also examined the picture from over his shoulder.
"wee wanted to memorialize such a special moment for you so you'd have it forever and you know how much you mean to us," luke said.
"he's crying, i knew we'd make him cry," jack chuckled and reached over to rub his older brother's shoulder.
"this is the best thing i've ever gotten. i have no words," the older boy quickly wiped his tears to bring his three younger siblings into a hug.
ellen quickly pulled out her phone to snap a picture of the sweet moment.
once the sibling gift exchange was over, it was now time for everything else. colleen and bill handed out their gifts, ellen and jim distributed theirs, and there were a few extra gifts exchanged a long the way that the siblings got one another and between will and grace too. samy got her dyson air wrap as she predicted along with some more necessities she asked for like new mascara, lip gloss, face cream, and perfume.
after everything was opened, the dads worked to clean up the wrapping paper while the moms got to the kitchen to start brunch. samy and will shied away a bit from opening gifts from one another in front of their families, so they disappeared to his room for a second.
"i hope you like it, i literally talked with ryan and gabe about it for weeks," samy chuckled as she slid the two big boxes towards the blonde. he raised his eyebrow a little bit, his curiosity growing.
"hearing that makes me worried," will mumbled because they knew how much ryan and gabe also loved giving gay gifts.
samy watched as he dug into the first big one. the familiar white frame revealed itself which also seemed to be another running theme in the household with these sentimental picture collage gifts. will carefully flipped it over, wondering what would be on the other side.
"we know how much playing at boston meant to you, so gabe and ryan managed to pull a few strings to get your jersey. i printed the pictures and put them all together, so i guess it's sort of a joint gift from all of us? i was thinking you can hang it in your room to remember your time at boston and the legacy your family has to the school," the brunette explained the thought behind the gift and the boy was smiling again as he admired all of the photos of him on the ice or with his friends.
"wow, this is so sweet. i love it, thank you," will glanced up at her, a soft expression on his features which she quickly returned.
"i guess all of us were thinking alike this christmas, but once luke mentioned what he was getting quinn i wanted to do something similar for you," will leaned over to give her a tight hug.
"this is really special, thank you again. i love you," the hockey player hummed, kissing her cheek. he went to tear into the next box which was a bunch of clothes samy saw and figured will would like since he always told her how he watched to change up some of his style.
"hell yeah, i wanted this," the boy said when he saw the abercrombie and fitch sweatshirt and matching jeans.
"i hope they fit. i like kind of knew your size, but not really. i have all the receipts if you need to exchange," samy giggled.
"they're perfect, thank you," he kissed her cheek again. he began passing his gifts over to her until the youngest hughes stopped him. this last gift she was a bit nervous for because it was something she did on a complete whim and didn't know if will would like it or not. he raised his eyebrow when she stopped him for a second.
"i do have one more thing," she began which made the blonde glance at her in confusion. "hopefully you won't think it's stupid or cringey, but i've been thinking about doing it for awhile and i finally did it a few days after i saw you in san jose. it's just a little something..like..to remember you're always with me even when we're miles apart," she rambled a little and will just wondered in amusement what the last gift could possibly be.
when samy stood and began pulling her pajama waist band down, the boy's curiosity grew. was she about to show him her underwear or something? will definitely wouldn't complain if that was the case, but samy stopped about halfway down her hip. will looked closer and that's when he saw black ink marking her skin with 2 simple letters and a number. w.s. 2
his initials. his initials in her skin forever. his eyes widened in disbelief.
"holy shit, no way.." will reached out to gently brush his thumb across the somewhat fresh ink. he actually had zero words, yet it was the hottest thing he's ever seen.
"is it cringy? you can tell me if it is," the girl said nervously when all will did was stare at her upper hip bone. his fingers were delicate across her skin, so mesmerized with the way it looked.
"no way. i love it. i'm on you forever," he looked up at her, such a lovestruck expression on his features it made the girl blush.
"yeah, you are. it's like our own reminder that you're right here with me all the time," she ruffled her hand through his curls, a bit caught off guard when will leaned forward to press a gentle kiss to the area.
"god, i love you," he mumbled.
"i love you," samy grinned.
"you know, i really do think we think the same because i also have a surprise for you," will said and stood up too. the brunette watched as he pulled down his own waist band where on the same exact side as hers was will's own tattoo on his hip except it was her own initials and #6.
samy's eyes widened seeing her boyfriend's hip. "no fucking way," she mumbled.
"i also got mine done a few days after you left san jose. we were probably on the same brain wave length or something, but i've also been wanting to this for some time or at least get your number somewhere. i guess the 6 is a tribute to my time at boston college too," the blonde chuckled, watching as samy reached forward to brush her finger over her initials.
"i was thinking about getting a 6 too, but i'm glad i didn't. i can't believe we did the same thing, that's hilarious," samy looked back at her boyfriend who smiled.
"no matter where we are or how far apart we get, i'll always come back to you," will cupped her cheeks, pressing a kiss to her nose before going in to her lips.
"i love you," samy mumbled when they pulled apart again.
"i love you," will hummed and then went to grab the rest of samy's gifts. she carefully worked through them, mumbling how will didn't need to get her so much. he never listened though because his girl deserved nothing less.
she popped open a jewelry box that had small s and w pendants hanging off a little chain. "you keep bugging me how you wanted a necklace," will poked her side and the girl grinned.
"i did, thank you. i love it," she kissed his cheek. he also got her san jose clothes since she always stole his (not that will minded at all, but he wanted her to have her own too).
when they were done, the couple just sat on his bed admiring their gifts and taking in the moment together. "these were all so sweet, thank you," samy said again.
"of course. i hope you like everything," will said and she quickly nodded.
"i love it all. you're the best," she leaned forward to embrace him in a tight hug.
there was a sharp knock on the door making them pull apart in surprise even though they weren't even doing anything. luke poked his head in, "we're going out to the beach if you lovebirds aren't just."
"we'll be down in five," samy said and her brother nodded before disappearing.
"are you gonna join our polar plunging?" the girl got up from the bed to find her swimsuit.
"i think i'd like to not freeze, so i'll sit this one out," the blonde laughed.
"okay, suit yourself," samy giggled. she quickly changed, pulling pants and long sleeve shirt over for now so she didn't freeze too much.
her and will were downstairs a minute later.
"last one in loses!" jack exclaimed and rushed out the door. the others called after him, quickly following while the parents just laughed to themselves, opting to also stay inside away from the snowy day.

A Naughty Gift
[Warning:Smut. It’s like 90% smut]
There’s no season like the Christmas season. Grimm missions were on the low and the only trouble to be found was lack of ham. That and traffic; man did Jaune have enough of traffic. Five hours of guiding civilians across roads may sound like an easy mission, but doing it in cold snow was a special layer of pain. Boy was he glad to be off.
As he walked into his shared apartment, the wonderful smell of gingerbread and hot chocolate warmed his soul. “Ah~ the smell of joy. Man, I love the holidays.”
He looked around the baker of such treats, but did not find the chef or her assistant. “Ruby? Weiss?” Not a single response. Maybe they stepped out.
Jaune moseyed his way into the kitchen to grab a cookie, but was halted by a note on the dish that said, “Focus on your gift.” A gift? Had they hidden one for him. It was Christmas Eve and Weiss had been super strict about touching absolutely nothing under the tree.
“I doubt it’s there.” He thought, fearing the consequences of unwrapping a present. He knew what they got him, but still had to play by holiday rules. Next likely place would be his room. But first, he wanted to see if anything was strange about theirs.
Jaune walked down the hall and went to Weiss’s room, the first door on the right. He carefully peeked inside to see a pristinely made bed and light blue mood lighting that put snowflakes on the wall. Nothing out of place here.
He then went deeper into the hall to the first room on the left; Ruby’s room. Jaune was way more comfortable opening up the door wider than Weiss’s. Once again, nobody was in there. The strange thing however was Ruby’s bed was also made!
“That’s slightly concerning.” He thought to himself. Now they were definitely planning something. Everything is only spick and span at the same time when thought of doing it later would be incredibly bothersome. Guess his room left. Unless they were both hiding in the bathroom, which he highly doubted.
There was still also the possibility they simply weren’t home. They had finished their missions ahead of him but they could’ve stepped out. Jaune twisted the knob to his room and opened the door. Immediately his face went red and his eyes became bigger than the cookies Ruby baked.
“Well hello. I guess you are home.”
On his bed with a proud grin and red cheeks was Ruby. She waved as best she could with hands bound together by a red ribbon that wrapped around her figure, covering only her chest and restraining her legs a little as well. The only thing stopping her from being completely naked was a Santa hat. Much like her partner, who was a thousand times more embarrassed.
Weiss laid right beside Ruby in blue ribbon that had her wrists tied behind her back. The girl looked a little pouty to be put in such a situation. It was clear who’s idea this was.
“How the heck did she talk you into this?” Jaune said, more intrigued than aroused.
“She insisted this was a Christmas idea she wanted to try at least once. I caved.”
Ruby giggled. “Oh don’t act like you weren’t interested at all.”
“Maybe one on one! This is a lot…” She looked at Jaune anxiously. “I hope you know this took a lot of effort! I can’t tell you how infuriating it was to get the Arma Gigas to tie us.”
“I didn’t even know that was possible.”
“Neither did I! My sister would kill me if she knew this is how I made use of my training.” Weiss lamented.
Ruby kissed her cheek and nudged the girl. “Cheer up! I’m very proud of you for humoring me, and I’m sure someone else is.”
It was true, although he didn’t need to tell them that. Both pairs of eyes watched a tent try to pitch itself under jeans in real time. Jaune couldn’t help but chuckle and sigh.
“Never a dull moment in this apartment.”
“Happy early Christmas!” Ruby cheered. “Though this is technically a gift to me, I’m sure we’ll all cherish it.”
Jaune began taking off his armor at a normal pace as much as possible. “I guess now is as good a time as any to give you both a present each.”
“Oh?” Weiss raised a brow. “An actual gift, or was that your way of being cheeky?”
“Haha, cut me some slack.” Jaune walked over to his nightstand and pulled out two small wrapped boxes. “I wasn’t going to put these under the tree considering it was pretty tongue and cheek. Not to mention sorta a joke. Since we’re here though…”
The girls watched him open the red gift that was clearly meant for Ruby. Her curiosity grew more and more until it turned into flustered shock as Jaune pulled out a red collar with her symbol on it. Words failed her. She tried her damndest not to look at Weiss, whose jaw was trying to hit the bed.
“So…that’s what you two get up to?”
“N-Not all the time! It’s just that…ever since I saw how assertive he was with you, I’ve asked him to try a few times on me.” Ruby muttered.
“Don’t pin your awakenings on me!” Weiss heard more wrapper tearing and looked at Jaune with immediate concern. “Hold on-”
“Relax, it’s not what you’re thinking.”
“Are you certain?” Weiss watched anxiously as Jaune opened the box and pulled out fuzzy light blue handcuffs. An immediate sigh of relief left her lungs and made Ruby squint.
“That’s an interesting reaction. What had you freaking out, hmmm?”
“Listen, some kinks don’t need to be shared.” Weiss blushed deeply. “Leave me with a shred of dignity.”
“We’re naked and wrapped right now but sure, keep your shred. It’s not like I’m in any position to judge right now.” Ruby said lovingly. Right as she finished, Jaune, who was now only in boxers, tilted her head up gently and put the collar on; her face matched the hat on her head immediately. “See? I’m going through it right now.”
“Wasn’t this your idea?” Jaune reminded
“Not the collar! At least not in this situation! I-” Her mind was utterly derailed as he tugged on her gift gently with his right middle finger, pulling her forward until she was on her knees. Ruby’s hands fell against Jaune’s waistband. His right hand moved from the collar to the side of her face. Ruby looked up into deep blue eyes that waited firmly, yet patiently.
“Well? Don’t you want your present?” He said in the voice she loved so dearly.
Ruby didn’t speak. There was nothing really to say honestly. Her fingers tugged the boxer down, freeing the girthy cock underneath. The scent was dizzying to her senses. She had forgotten Jaune had come from work, and yet that only served to lower her head impatiently. In one motion, Ruby swallowed Jaune, working her way to the base of his shaft as the hand on her left began gently rubbing it. Her ears were burning, waiting to hear what always came next when she listened.
“That’s my girl.”
Weiss’s own face became pink as she watched her girlfriend’s head bob up and down slowly. Her gaze turned to Jaune who’s attention was locked onto her. Weiss could feel her heart flutter. He didn’t even put the cuffs on. Although he really didn’t need to in this situation.
“Can you walk?” He asked.
“Y-Yes.” Why was she stuttering now of all times!? Weiss got up from the bed and slowly made her way over to his left side. Her curiosity got the better of her and she looked down at Ruby again. The redhead was trying her best to keep Jaune deep in her throat but clearly struggled, occasionally stopping before the base and attempting to compose herself before trying again. If it was her down there, Jaune would’ve bucked his hips the instant she stopped. Weiss bit her lip at the thought.
“Jealous?” Jaune said, teasing the snow angel mildly.
“As if.” Weiss turned her nose up at the accusation. Her act of pride all but melted through as she felt Jaune’s left hand run up her body. The weight of fingers around her throat made her sigh shakily in yearning as he continued a little further up. Weiss felt him take control of her lower jaw, coaxing her body to stand up on their toes and accept a kiss that robbed her tongue with no intention of returning it. Jaune’s arms moved around her lower back to keep her steady. Weiss appreciated that.
Just like that, the room became an echo chamber of deep yearning. Moans from the trio slipped out alongside the sound of lustful slurps and smacks. Jaune couldn’t help but squeeze Weiss’s soft, plump rear as he tried to control his pleasure. Ruby’s mouth was like a furnace that threatened to melt him as her tongue lathered his cock. In truth, Jaune wasn’t much for aggression in the bedroom often, but they really knew how to rile him up.
Ruby had to remove herself briefly to breathe, coughing as she gasped. Her rest was short lived however as Jaune’s hand ran through her hair and pressed her face against his dick. Not one to keep him waiting, she began sucking and licking along the shaft, causing him to flinch. If only her hands weren’t tied. Her own core was beginning to ache and it looked like she wasn’t alone. Despite her earlier behavior, Weiss was now drowning in a kiss that had her legs trembling.
“Can you please untie us?” Ruby cooed, trying to sway the man.
Jaune broke his kiss with Weiss and let the girl catch her breath. “Mmm I don’t know.” He said, looking down at the flushed reaper. “You both look really cute like this.”
His teasing only made Ruby lose more strength. Her lips continued to play along his shaft. “I…I can’t touch myself like this.”
“Aw, is that what you want?”
Ruby felt his hand slide to her nape. Jaune slowly leaned forward, dragging his fingers down her spine and causing Ruby to raise her hips further until she felt his middle and index slide into her. “Nnngh~” her entire body trembled. Ruby wrapped her lips back around Jaune’s cock as she felt him dig into her. Damn the ribbons. She couldn’t spread her legs wider. To make things worse, the relief turned to dismay as his fingers left her. Ruby tried to groan in frustration, but they merely turned to whimpering.
“I can take care of her.” Weiss said, still a little shaky. No way could she survive another kiss like that.
Jaune had other ideas however. “Or… you both could swap?” He could see the flicker in their eyes. It was surprising they lasted this long doing what the other preferred.
“That could work.” They said in unison.
Jaune removed his boxers completely and laid down in the middle of the bed. It didn't take long at all for to crawl up his right side and get pulled into a mouthwatering kiss that led to their tongues fighting for dominance. The battle wasn’t in her favor unfortunately. With her so close to him, his hand had no problem sliding down her finger and reaching her pussy again. She wasn’t spared this time. Two fingers returned to ruin her, curling their way inside as they pushed in.
“AAAAGHHN~” Her tongue submitted control; Ruby quickly lost so much strength as her hips quivered from assault. Jaune’s left hand returned to the back of her head, keeping her nice and close. She was not escaping this kiss.
On the left side of the bed, Weiss found herself in an equally favorable position. She always did her best work away from prying eyes no matter the circumstances. As deeply as she loved Ruby, there was a thrill in throwing away her inhibitions so while the redhead was none the wiser. Jaune was aware of this, which made seeing his cock pointing to the ceiling all the more exciting. Weiss laid right next to it, dragging her tongue all the way up to the tip before swallowing him whole without issue. She had lost track how many times she’s done this little trick. Each time, it got the results she wanted.
Weiss felt Jaune pulse in her throat, his hips immediately raising up to fill her mouth repeatedly. Her cheeks burned red. Gods, why was she like this? Weiss swirled her tongue around his uncompromising erection, getting a full taste of the precum leaking out while he slowly fucked her throat. Weiss was now torn by Ruby’s early request. She really didn’t need her hands, but it was impossible to ignore how quickly her thighs were getting damp. No one was touching her at all and yet she could feel her walls squeez down on what wasn’t there.
“Mmph~” she moaned, anticipating not only her future pleasure, but the load she’d soon taste. Weiss sucked harder.
Jaune groaned as he put up their best fight. “Thank goodness my mission wasn’t intense today!” He did his best to focus on Ruby but Weiss wasn’t making that easy. Thankfully he knew their weaknesses as well as they knew his.
Ruby felt like she was in a pure trance. Her body steadily found balance in their make out session and she tried her best to hold out. That was…until Jaune had to go and break her concentration. His left hand finally moved from her head but fell down towards chests. Ruby broke the kiss. “N-No! Wait!” She gasped, but her plea was ignored.
Nimble fingers slipped through the wrapping paper and captured her right nipple, latching onto it like a clamp.
“AAANGNH!!!” She cried out without restraint. Ruby’s breath became nothing more than ragged panting
“You always were sensitive here.” Jaune teased, pulling lightly while biting her earlobe. He will give her no room for escape. Jaune pumped his fingers harder until she was sopping wet.
Ruby’s vision blurred. “I…I’M….!” Everything went white. Her voice let out a dry, strained wail that made Weiss blush deeply. Ruby felt her orgasm flow down her trembling legs as Jaune continued to rub her walls. “MERCY!! JAUNE! I CAN’T…” She whined, tears welling up.
“Yes you can.” He whispered, reducing her to a puddle. “You’re doing so well cumming everywhere.”
Her orgasm felt never ending. Jaune had taken it and demanded more of her lust with each passing second, until another wave hit. “AAAGNH!”
“Gooood girl~” He finally slowed his pace. “I knew you could do it.” He let her tit go and rubbed her head again as he gradually brought her down from her high.
Ruby was in no state to respond. All she could manage was whimpering while her body flinched randomly. Jaune’s fingers finally left her as she remained faced down on the bed.
With Ruby needing a moment, Jaune finally locked eyes with his blushing blue eyed girlfriend who diligently played with his cock. Time her weakness.
Weiss watched as he sat up, gaining the leverage he needed to grind his hips in earnest against the back of her throat. His left hand rubbed the side of her face slowly as he got rough.
“Is this what you wanted?” He asked, knowing what was in her heart. A chill ran up his spine as Weiss stuck her tongue out more. He couldn’t hold it in any longer. “Don’t waste a drop.”
He came directly in the mouth. Weiss felt her eyes water as she put her face comfortably in his lap, allowing him cum to coat her throat. The taste flooded her senses and clenched her thighs together as she felt her body succumb to the shameful desire. Weiss slowly removed herself from the beastly appendage and began coughing as she took her first breath or real air. Before she could even say a word, Jaune gave her a quick, chaste kiss.
“Good job.” He smiled genuinely.
It was insane how quickly he switched gears from treating her like a hole to pampering her. To make matters worse, he brought his thumb up to wipe her mouth sense she was unable to. Weiss could only avert her gaze.
“Last time I checked, you were supposed to unwrap your gifts before playing with them.” She huffed.
“Technically it’s not mine to unwrap.” He quipped. “Even if I did, in your case, I’m putting the cuffs on you.”
Weiss tried to hold a definite stare but not even she could believe her own false anger. Not when she still felt her core aching. Her eyes looked down at his lap to find his erection persisting.
“Do as you please then. Just…keep touching me a little longer.” She confessed, looking into his eyes again. “I want to feel like Ruby did.”
“Even if that means-”
“Yes.” She said immediately, embarrassing both of them. “I…prepared beforehand.”
Finally lucid, Ruby turned her body over to see her two lovers near the foot of the bed. “You two having fun without me?” She teased.
Weiss playfully rolled her eyes. “Oh hey, you’re alive.”
“That’s my line. You sounded like you were drowning.”
“You were screaming bloody murder.”
“Hehe, yeah...” Ruby sunk into the bed. “I might be down for the count still.”
“Nope.” Jaune said, getting up and walking over to Ruby to loosen some of the ribbon around her legs. Before pulling her more to the center of the bed. “Show Weiss just how good you felt.”
There goes that voice again, playing tricks on Ruby’s heart. The girl blushed again as she followed the order. Slowly, her legs parted to reveal strands of her arousal clingy to her thighs over pink convulsing lips. Seeing Weiss stare directly at it was more dangerous to Ruby’s mental fortitude than she realized.
Jaune looked at Weiss. “Still want your ribbons undone?”
“I’m alright.” Weiss said softly. Her legs weren’t inhibited much to begin with, and it’s not like her hands weren’t going to immediately be taken away again. She instead focused on the young woman presented in front of her. Weiss lowered her body between Ruby’s legs and trailed her tongue right up her slit.
“Please be gentle.”
“I can try, but I like your screams.” Weiss continued lapping up the mess, feeling Ruby flinch with every tongue flick.
Jaune rested Ruby’s head back onto a pillow. “Stay right here and relax. Try not to cum too soon.”
Easier said than done! Even with slow movements, Weiss’s tongue ran down every groove and remembered to show Ruby’s clit some personal attention. The reaper’s bound hands reached for Weiss’s hair and held it firmly. She needed anything to latch onto if she was going to survive.
Jaune made his way back behind Weiss after grabbing a bit of lube “Hips.” She raised them instantly, arching her back and giving him a wonderful view. Man he loved the holidays.
Weiss could feel his tip rub against her entrance repeatedly. Not as if either of them needed more preparations. That being said, Weiss had given him free reign to make a mess out of her, and with Ruby occupied, she knew he’d take advantage of it. Weiss felt her face burn up as cool lube was applied around her ass. A thumb gently rubbed it in, circling around the entrance before pressing in.
“Nngh.” Weiss focused harder on Ruby, trying to act normal as Jaune played with her butt.
Thank goodness his present was cuffs and not a plug. Weiss was still working up the nerve to express this particular interest to Ruby. She didn’t even express it to Jaune. Damn dolt messed around and stumbled upon it! Honestly it was for the best. She doubts she would’ve come clean about it otherwise. His thumb left and was replaced with the same two fingers that brought Ruby to tears.
“Uungh!” Weiss felt her hips float.
Ruby didn’t know what Weiss was going through, but it made her damn good at her job. Her tongue finally slipped in and began eating her out in earnest. “Yes! Just like that!” She could feel herself close around the girl’s tongue.
Weiss didn’t know if she had the best job or the worst. Either way, leaving was the last thing in her mind. Her body grew more impatient as Jaune continued his teasing. She was practically dripping down his cock. She had to speak for a second.
“Jaune, please!” She begged, not caring at all how she sounded. “I want it!”
“How do you want it?” He watched her ears turn red.
“Y-You know how.” She whined, her hips moving on their own. Ruby’s hands pulled her back into her warmth while Jaune’s fingers slid out. Weiss felt her body shudder when his tip slowly pressed halfway into her pussy before leaving it neglected. A firm hand gripped her ass and spread it apart, carefully opening it up with Jaune’s slick cock. Weiss could only clench her hands together as the man finally fucked her. Weiss let her thoughts fade away, focusing on devouring Ruby as her ass was used. She could feel him take it down to the base, bottoming her out like it was made to take him. Even now, her pussy squeezed for something that wasn’t there, and she couldn’t get enough.
Jaune brought both his hands to her waist. The way her ass clung to him made it impossible to keep his cool. To think she prepared herself for this only drove him wilder. If this was the gift she wanted, he was gonna give it to her. Jaune couldn’t help himself from fucking her with deep strokes that drove him crazy.
“You two are so perfect.” He gasped, getting lost in the bliss with them.
Ruby was dire straits, trapped in her own bliss thanks to Weiss’s hungry slurping. Ruby couldn’t help but feel a little jealous of how good Weiss was at oral. Just like with Jaune, she was completely at Weiss’s mercy.
Not another word was shared between the three. Only a need to satisfy their urges and express their fulfillment through countless moans. There wasn’t a stroke that didn’t make Weiss squeal, or an instant Jaune wasn’t breathlessly trying to keep himself together. Ruby could feel her toes curling the sheets in a desperate attempt to hold on just a little longer. This moment felt too brief and yet like eternity itself. Despite her best attempt, Ruby couldn’t stave off the inevitable any longer. One more trail around her clit broke her down. Ruby’s hips lifted off the bed and pushed against Weiss’s lips, giving a good taste of her handy work as another strong orgasm hit like a crashing wave.
Ruby felt her body turn rigid as stone before becoming as feeble as puddy once her body hit the mattress. Her strength was absolutely spent. Her eyes flickered rapidly as she tried to calm herself. Jaune must’ve noticed her orgasm. She could feel Weiss’s tongue pull away and hear muffled cries of delight. Blurred figures slowly became clear again and brought new speechless clarity to Ruby’s eyes.
Weiss was in utter disarray, completely lost in pleasure. Jaune had torn away the ribbons, along the girl to reach up and lock her hands behind his neck as his arms wrapped around her body. A stern hand had once again returned to her neck while the other wrapped around her torso to keep the girl on her knees as he fucked her without restraint.
“Oh wow…” Ruby couldn’t help but blush. She could see exactly how Jaune made such a mess out of their prideful Ice Queen. She was in another world, falling endlessly into euphoria as her body writhed. Ruby watched as Jaune filled her up, his cock pulsing rope after rope until it leaked down his shaft from the overflow. “Maybe I’m the vanilla in this relationship?”
Unable to stand any longer, Weiss fell forward. Ruby found it in herself to move quickly enough to lean forward and catch the girl, slowly leaning back and allowing Weiss to lay on her. Out of breath didn’t describe the state she was in. Weiss simply wasn’t here right now. Just a woman doing her best to breathe as her eyes grew heavy before shutting altogether. Ruby glanced up to see the man responsible utterly exhausted. Their gaze finally met again and she could tell by the slow internal panic in his eyes that his wits had returned.
“Ummm.” He had absolutely nothing to say. Not really much to say to get out of this situation.
Ruby pinched two fingers together and ran them over her lips like a zipper before flicking an imaginary key away.
Jaune chuckled in relief. “Merry Christmas.”
“Yeah I’m pretty sure we’re on the naughty list.” Ruby raised her hands up. “Please release me.”
Jaune looked at a dangling end and tugged it, effortlessly undoing the knot before looking at Ruby in slight judgment.
“Hey, not everyone gets post-nut clarity. I’m too tired to think.”
“I didn’t say anything.” He finally allowed himself to fall onto the bed beside them.
“You didn’t have to.” Ruby followed his lead and laid back.
“Rubes, please tell me you're too tired for sex.”
“I’m too tired for everything. Don’t worry, I am beyond satisfied.” Ruby aimlessly reached at his nightstand before finally grabbing a pack of wipes. “I see why you have these in your room now.” She tossed them his way.”
“Thank you.” He groaned.
“And she had the nerve to look at me crazily for wanting to gift wrap ourselves? You two are freakier than me.”
“Hehe, so is this new information going on the list of things you want to try?”
Ruby blushed. She didn’t know if she was ready for all that. “At least let me get used to the color first.” She covered her face. “I’ve really opened Pandora’s box, haven’t I?”
“Not really. Weiss didn’t notice you watching and I’m not about to start randomly messing your butt. I’m still doing what I always do, matching the tone.”
Ruby turned to him. “Okay, but if you were the one to set it?” She watched his face slowly turn a little pink as he pondered the question.
“Well…if you ever did get a little curious, I wouldn’t mind seeing a tail with the collar one day. You know, just every now and then.”
Even the most polite people have their fantasies. Ruby couldn’t tell if she had turned these into freaks or if it was the other way around. Regardless of the answer, she was the one who wanted assertiveness and the collar. The girl sighed at her own disappointment, feeling the same bashfulness and shame her dear girlfriend displayed in the beginning.
“Give me till Valentine’s Day.”

I Don't Want To Take That Class...
Today was now, Jaune's second day at, Beacon Academy for, Beast Masters. And, Jaune's school experience was so far: Not that great.
Well, at least today he could learn what his classes would be. Beacon had a system where on the first day of school students would orient themselves with the school, get settled into their room, but most importantly they would show off their, Spiritual Beasts so the teachers knew what monster they had, and how to best teach them to master their, Spiritual Beasts powers.
Jaune wasn't sure what he would be learn, considering, Salem's powers were so fast, and how certain members of the teaching staff were giving him, and more importantly, they were giving, Salem some very questionable looks. Particularly, Headmaster Ozpin.
Salem had told, Jaune about her rather interesting past with the man. Only the brief rundown of things, but he figured it would be for the best if she explain everything in detail. Less he walked into something he didn't want to be in.
~~~
Jaune: Okay... Where am I...?
: Oh, hi, Jaune!
Jaune: Hmm? Oh hey, Ruby.
Ruby: Here to find out what classes you're in?
Jaune: Yeah. Have you found out what classes you're in?
Ruby: Yep!
Jaune: Can you tell me what classes you have? Maybe we have one in common.
Ruby: Sure! I have classes for, Shadow, and Wind magic. But, since you are omni-elemental we'll probably have the same classes. You're probably have the same classes as everyone.
Jaune: Probably. I'll also be in the flight class since I can... well: Fly. Regeneration though... yeah...
Ruby: C-Can you actually regenerate...?
Jaune: Yes.
Ruby: Are you going to elaborate?
Jaune: Do you really want to know how that works?
Ruby: ...
Ruby: No...
Jaune: Smart lass.
Ruby: Okay, but can you tell me about.. Ooph?!
: There you are, Rubes! I've been looking all over for you!
Jaune was taken aback as an older, far more well endowed blonde woman put, Ruby in a headlock, and started giving her a little noogie.
Ruby: Yang?! Stop it!
Yang: Alright, alright I'll stop. I'll... Oh? Well hello~! You must be, Jaune Arc, the guy with the, Spiritual Deity!
Jaune: Yep, that's me. And, you are...?
Yang: Yang Xiao Long! This little twerps big sister! It's a pleasure to meet you!
Jaune: Pleasure.
Yang held out her hand for a hand shack, and Jaune moved his hand to shake it. But, it stopped when her hand was slapped away from his. Yang, and Ruby turned to look at her hand utterly perplexed. All the while, Jaune turned to left as he scowled at the air.
Jaune: Why did you do that? It was just a handshake!
Yang: Uhhh...?
Jaune: We just met her, what's so untrustworthy about her?
Yang: Who is he talking to?
Ruby: Oh! He's talking to his, Spiritual Beast!
Yang: They can talk to each other?
Ruby: Yeah, they do it all the time!
Yang: That's true? I thought that was just a joke?!
Ruby: It's true! Although, Jaune does look a little crazy since he's talking to 'nothing.'
Yang: Yeah, that does look a little...!?
Jaune: What?! Just because she's wearing a midriff, and showing off her belly does not mean she's a harlot?!
Yang: The fuck did you just call me?!
Jaune: Nothing! I did not call you anything at all! Salem called you a harlot though...
Yang: You wanna go missy?!
Yang pointed in the air, as she challenged a god to a fist fight.
Jaune: She's behind you.
Yang: Eh? OWW?!
Yang turned around, and then reeled back as she felt someone's finger flicked her forehead.
Yang: D-Did she just flick my forehead...?
Jaune: Yeah, sorry about that. Salem is... possessive to say the least. She doesn't like it when other girls get too close to me.
Yang: Sounds like a possessive wife.
Jaune: If you knew why she's so possessive of me... you... you wouldn't blame her... that much.
Yang: Are you going to tell me?
Jaune: Best you don't know. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to learn what my classes will be.
Jaune quickly left to go see what classes he was placed into, leaving the sisters alone.
RY: ...
Yang: Well... He seems like a pretty nice guy... It's a bit weird to have an invisible girlfriend batting everyone away from him though.
Ruby: She's actually his wife!
Yang: Really?
Yang: It's still weird that she does that.
Ruby: Yeah it is weird...
~~~
Jaune: Do you see my name on any of these lists, Salem?
Salem was floating over head the crowd of students, searching for her beloveds name among the. She was phasing through the ones who were to close to the board overhead for those she couldn't see.
Salem: Afraid not my love. I've scoped all of these lists, and I haven't found your name on any of them.
Jaune: That's not good...
Salem: Oh, and why is that?
Jaune: Because of you, Salem, it means that they've no doubt come up with a special class of some sorts exclusively for me... And, since i am one of the rare few to have a, Spiritual Deity as my, Spiritual Beast they'll want to run some tests on us.
Salem: Are you sure of that?
Jaune: It's been over four thousand years since the first person became a, Spiritual Beast Master. And, since there have only been just over two dozen, Spiritual Masters who have formed a bound with a, Spiritual Deity. And, to make matters worse, I am the first person you've ever formed a bound with. They are going to run some tests on us.
Salem: These tests... I will have to show myself before them then... This feels like a trap...
Jaune: But, is it for me, or is it for you?
Salem: That doesn't matter! You are my husband! If they come after one of us, then are coming after the both of us, and if they dare harm so much a single golden lock of hair from your head, I will introduce them all, I will remind, Ozma of what is a, Spiritual Deity's FURY!
Jaune watched as a whirlwind of elemental powers swirled around, Salem. Fire, ice, lighting, earth, shadows, and light rage in a kaleidoscope of raw power hang in the air about her. It was a beautiful sight to behold, his beloved showing off the full range of her powers.
To him that is.
Jaune: Salem, you look beautiful, honey. But, everyone is looking at me like I'm crazy since they can't see the, Oni Queen making a storm of elemental powers in the air, they just see the elemental storm ball.
Salem: Eh...?
Salem looked to her side seeing a crowd of students looking on, some in awe, others in fear.
Salem: Whoops...
The storm slowly faded away as, Salem nervously floated down in front of, Jaune. She bashfully looked away from him as a fierce blush was spreading across her face.
Salem: Sorry...
Jaune: It's okay, Salem. It was a good way to flex on everyone.
Jaune rubbed his hand along, Salem's cheek as she swooned into his hand. This loving moment between couples was swiftly brought to the end, when the were interrupted when someone unexpected appeared.
: That you are, Mr. Arc. Lady, Salem...?
Standing before them was the deputy headmistresses of, Beacon Academy. Who looked rather cross...
Jaune: Hi, Professor Goodwitch! C-Can we help you with anything?
Glynda: Can you.. two come with me. Headmaster Ozpin wishes to have a word with you.
Jaune: About our classes?
Glynda: Yes, since you have made a contract with a, Spiritual Deity we've had to come up a unique set of classes for you to do.
Jaune: I expected as much...
Glynda: Will you come with me so we may discuss it?
Jaune: Alright then... We'll come...
Salem: Are you sure this is a wise idea, Jaune?
Jaune: Nope, but what else can we do?
Salem: Improvise?
Jaune: That'll work...
~~~
"Ding~!"
The elevator doors slowly opened, and Jaune, and Salem were greeted to the sight of a trio of teachers, Jaune didn't want to see.
Before him was, Professor Peach, Dr. Oobaleck, and lastly, Headmaster Ozpin.
Out of the three, Professor Peach was the one, Jaune was the least suspicious about. She was a medical doctor, so she was probably here to see about his regeneration abilities. He could understand her curiosity about that, everyone was curious when it came to his regenerative abilities. However, based upon how she wanted to test these abilities, that's where he started to grow cautious of her.
Dr. Oobaleck put, Salem's nerves on end, and in turn, Jaune's as well. He was a scientist, so of course he was curious about the capabilities of, Salem's powers. But, Jaune had read enough science fiction books, and shows to know that the most dangerous scientist there is, is the one who was trying to test the bounds of science, and no one was there to tell them this one simple thing: "No."
So many terrible events that happened because science gone crazy could have been solved if someone just said, "No, bad scientist, no!"
And, lastly he had, Headmaster Ozpin. Out of the three, Jaune was most cautious of this man. Salem had told him plenty of things about, Ozpin, and the results of his, Spirit Curse. So, unless everyone didn't behave. Things were going to become very bad, very, very quickly.
~~~
Ozpin: Ahh... Hello, Mr. Arc. Do you know why we brought you here today?
Jaune: Considering that I didn't see my name on the list of classes, I assume you asked me here to tell me what my classes are?
Ozpin: You are correct, Mr. Arc. Because of your unique circumstances, being partnered with a, Spiritual Deity, and all. Along with your wide variety of spiritual powers, we had to come up with some unique classes to teach you, Mr. Arc.
Jaune: I expected as much... what classes will you be teaching me?
Ozpin: Well, start with, Professor Peach. Professor?
Peach: Thank you... Hello, Mr. Arc, I am Professor Padma Peach. We won't be having too many classes together. Mostly we'll be having tests.
Jaune: Trying to determine the capabilities of my, Regeneration abilities?
Peach: Why, yes! I am most looking forward to learn how that ability of yours works!
Jaune: That's one of us...
Ozpin: Bart.
Oobaleck: Hello, Mr. Arc! My name is, Doctor Bartholomew Oobaleck! I will be teaching you how to control your basic elemental powers! Earth, fire, water, and air! I have never taught an omni elemental before! My fellow teacher, Peter Port will also be assisting me during your teaching! He was busy monitoring the students so he couldn't be here! But, I can assure you, he is most excited to teach you as well!
Jaune: O-Okay...?
Ozpin: And, lastly, Mr. Arc, I will be teaching you how to use your light, and dark magical powers. We will be dividing these class for three to be spent learning ight, and dark magic, and the rest will be spend on your other elemental powers. Professor Peach will only be available during your other elemental powers. But, that should offer her enough time to study your regeneration capabilities.
Ozpin: We will be sending you a timetable of these, and your various other classes you will be taking. We look forward to teaching you, Mr. Arc!
Jaune took in his words with a grain, no, a heap of salt. Professor's Port, and Peach, and Doctor Oobaleck all teaching him in tandem made sense, he was omni elemental after all. But, having a class all alone with, Ozpin.
Jaune mulled over this news, but as he looked to the side, and came to a simple conclusion.
Jaune: I don't want to take that class, Headmaster... No, I won't be taking that class...
Ozpin: Excuse me?
Jaune: Deputy Headmistress, Glynda Goodwitch already teaches classes on dark, and light magic, I want her to teach me those classes, not you.
Ozpin: What are you talking about, I am the most skilled teacher of those elements the world over. I can assure you, I can help you master those powers.
Jaune: And, I can assure you, Headmaster... We will not be taking any classes with you...
Ozpin raised his mug to his face to take a drink, but paused as he took in his wrods.
Ozpin: 'We?'
(Smash.)
Ozpin: What was...?
Ozpin dipped his drink to far, and his drink spilled out of his mug. But, instead of a splatter of how bean water, a solid chunk of coffee ice fell out, and shattered on top of his desk.
Ozpin: What the?!
Ice. Ice emanated from the floor around, Jaune. The temperature in the room fell rapidly, one could see their air as they breathed. For all, but one that is. Jaune stood before, Ozpin, his body was at ease, calm. He didn't seem to be bothered by the coldness building in the room, or it didn't appear that the cold was affecting him at all.
Jaune: Now you've done it, Headmaster...
Ozpin: Done... Done what?
: Not taking my 'hint!'
Within a fraction of a second, The Oni Queen, Salem appeared before Ozpin. She was floating in the air before him, a calm smile played across her lips as the tempest of the storm loomed over the, Headmaster.
Ozpin: Hint... What hint...?
Salem: You think I flicked your forehead as some sort of 'playful teasing?' Hmm...?
Salem cocked her head to the side, her voice was loud for all to hear. Jaune could tell she without seeing her face that she was giving him a cold, an emotionless toothy smile. And while, Jaune knew she had a beautiful smile, it was a predators smile. She bore fangs that could rip through metal with ease, and when she showed off her fangs, the likely hood she was threatening you was very, very high.
Salem: No, that was a warning... a warning to tell you to keep your hands to yourself...
Ozpin: Keep my hands to myself...?
Salem: Yes. For it has come to my attention that you do not seem to remember why you were cursed with immortality. And, we are all too willing to remind you of why that all happened. But, if you dare touch a single hair on my lovers head. I will show you why my daughter held me back the last time you received divine punishment! Understood, Ozma.
Ozpin's body has slowly begun to freeze to his chair as, Salem lowered the temperature more, and more to the point his, Aura's protective barrier was failing to withstand the extreme cold. With a shaky, and cold breath, he answered her.
Ozpin: O-O-Okay...! I-l-l-leave you two alone!
Salem: Good~! Now then...
Salem soon floated over, and appeared before, Glynda, the pair locked eyes before, Salem gave, Glynda a toothy half smile, before she returned to address, Ozpin.
Salem: Glynda here will be teaching, Jaune how to master his light, and dark magic works. Understood?
Ozpin: Y-Y-Yes...
Salem: Good~! Now, let go, Jaune. I'm done with this worm.
Jaune: Alright then. Goodbye, Ms. Goodwitch, Professor, Peach, Doctor Oobaleck. I look forward to seeing you in class.
With that the pair walked into the elevator, and left. Leaving behind the three freezing, and frozen teachers behind.
Glynda: Ozpin... I do not care for whatever schemes you are planning, but I will take you down before she gets a chance to if you push things too far! Understood?
Ozpin: P-Perfectlly... Miss Goodwitch.
Glynda: Good!
Ozpin: Now then... B-Bart?
Oobalek: Yes?
Ozpin: Can you call, Port up here at once... I-I-I'm frozen, and can't move...?!
Oobaleck: On it!
Well, Jaune now would have his class schedule, and Salem had given, Ozpin's final warning. The school year was finally about to begin for real!
Hopefully things didn't go to hell too quickly...

・ loves babies!
・ taro absolutely jumps at the idea of babysitting your little brother for the holidays
・ the second he meets the toddler, he's already squealing at how adorable he is
・ it doesn't take long for him to start acting up :( but taro handles it shockingly well, telling him off with a gentle yet stern voice
・ takes him to go play in the snow to make up for it <3
・ your camera roll is filled with so many photos of them playing together and taking long naps after their tiring snowball fights :3
✩ eunseok ⸝⸝
・ oh he's been WAITING for this day.
・ dealing with a brother fifteen years younger than him, he's more than qualified to watch after your younger brother.
・ he prepares a bunch of food to cook for the boy, always asking him what he's craving
・ he's having the time of his life cooking while listening to your giggles and baby talk all the way from the kitchen <3
・ your heart melts seeing him blow on the food to make sure it doesn't hurt the baby and even feeds him while he's playing with his toy cars :(
・ he ends up getting along well with the boy and even asks you if he could babysit more often!

✩ sohee ⸝⸝
・ this baby knows nothing about taking care of kids!! save this boy!!!

・ then seeing you set the dinner table for him and the boy makes him feel all warm inside </3 it gets so much worse seeing you feed him and pat him on the head with that pretty smile on your face... yeah he's got baby fever now!
✩ anton ⸝⸝
・ AHHHHH YOU NEED TO PUT A RING ON HIS FINGER
・ he doesn't hesitate whatsoever when agreeing to watch your baby cousin
・ you were worried since you'd be watching after an infant and carrying so many responsibilities, but toni has your back!
・ he'd always have the baby in his arms, gently cradling her and cooing little noises at her to make her smile <3
・ he wouldn't let you stress for even a second, always making you sit down whenever the baby cries and taking care of it himself
・ but once he sees you sitting by her crib and looking at her with such soft eyes, he's tearing up :(( begs you to keep her around a little longer

Meeting The Jones - Jack Hughes
strawberry girl masterlist
JACK!HUGHES X AMARA!JAMES — WARNINGS: crying, fluff, unedited, a little bit of angst, arguing — SUMMARY: It’s Christmas and Jack and Amara plan on having a peaceful day by themselves, (plus Esmeralda and Luke). But when their apartment doorbell rings and her parents' faces pop out, Amara knows it will be a long day. — WORD COUNT: 4,6K PART OF STRAWBERRY GIRL AU
Soft purrs sound through the living room along with low sounds coming from the tv, which is playing in the background, while Jack and Amara are cuddled on the couch, giggling and talking to each other, with Esmeralda on Amara’s lap.
“Oh, oh, and do you remember when Luke fell off the boat and popped out with the algae on his head?” both laugh at the memory that happened only a few months ago when they were in Michigan.
“Yeah, that was hilarious.” Jack throws his head back from laughter, his hands resting on Amara’s belly massaging it slightly.
“I remember your mom's face when she saw him.” Amara giggles her hair tickling Jack’s face but he doesn’t care.
The smile on his face only grows as he keeps listening to the angelic giggles and the soft purrs Esmeralda is making. His eyes are traveling between his girlfriend and the cat lying on her lap, his little family—a family he chose and wouldn’t change for anything.
When he’s about to say something, the doorbell rings through their apartment he stops himself and looks down at Amara with a questionable look.
“You expecting someone?” the confusion is written even on Amara’s head as she shakes her head no.
“No, but it could be Nico or someone.” She shrugs and both of them stand up and approach the door, opening it without bothering to ask who it is. As soon as the doors swing open and the seven faces of Amara’s family pop out, she stumbles backward almost dropping Esmeralda down, but Jack steadies her and smiles politely towards the people standing outside the apartment.
“W-what are you doing here?” Amara asks, her voice shaky just like her hands.
“Oh, I raised you better Amara! No ‘Hello! How are you? Please come in.’” her mother tsk, shaking her head as she holds her Louis Vuitton bag on her forearm.
“So will you invite us in or should we stay standing in the hallway?” this time it’s Adela who speaks, causing Jack to cringe at the sound of her voice.
“Yeah sure, come in, take a seat,” Jack says instead of Amara, ushering them inside. “Something to drink?” he asks as soon as he closes the doors and with his hand on Amara’s lower back her motions her deeper inside the apartment.
“Oh my gosh! You still have the cat?” Adela asks with disgust written all over her face as she stares at the fluffy ball on the couch. “Anyway, Liam will be here in a few, the girls wanted some drink or whatever.” Before Adela can shove Esmeralda down the couch, Amara runs to her and picks her up in her arms.
“Something to drink?” Jack asks again, standing behind Amara as he watches her family look around their place with judgment.
“Ah, yes, I’d like a Latte please,” Amara’s mom says a fake smile sitting on her lips. “And I forgot to mention this, but we’ll be staying at yours.” This time a mischievous smile lingers on her lips.
“F-for how long?” Amara asks in shock, stumbling back slightly and hitting Jack’s chest.
“Two days. But don’t worry, Liam and the girls will stay in a nearby hotel,” the first time Amara’s father, Michael, says something. “And I would like a black coffee.”
“And you Adela?” Jack asks her and diverts his eyes from her father to her. She batted her lashes, checking him out before answering.
“Oh, I’d like an iced coffee, but I’ll help you, I need to do it myse—” Amara doesn’t let her finish, her eyes widening in disbelief, as she watches her sister flirt with her boyfriend.
“I can make it, Adela. You are visiting.” Ara smiled at her, convulsively dragging Jack into the kitchen.
As soon as they get inside, she lets out a sigh of relief and starts boiling the water for the coffee. She strolls around the kitchen looking for the perfect glasses for the coffee her family wanted.
“Hey, hey, slow down, Berry,” Jack grabs her arm, stopping her in her tracks. “They can wait, okay.”
“No, no, they can’t,” she sighs, resting her head on his chest and taking a deep breath. “Oh my gosh! I completely forgot to introduce you to them!” She looks at him with horror in her eyes.
“Hey, take a deep breath, baby! I think they already know who I am, but if they don't, then that's okay. Just take a deep breath and let me help you with the drinks, okay?” He takes her face in his hands, kissing the top of her nose, drawing a soft giggle from Amara.
“Thank you.” Amara lets out a sigh and closes her eyes to calm her nerves slightly.
“So how did you two meet?” Spencer asks as soon as Amara and Jack sit down after the second round of drinks, this time for Spencer and his family.
“Through our mutual friend, Nico,” Amara smiles softly at her older brother while she pets Esmeralda sitting on her lap. “You actually know him.”
“Yeah, the Swiss guy! Nice dude.” he nods, looking over at his kids silently playing in the corner of the room.
“Yeah, and what about you? How are you doing in Norway?” Jack asks Spencer’s wife, Anniken, with a smile on his face when he sees how out of place she feels. He rests his hand on Amara’s thigh, noticing the look Adela sends their way.
Spencer smiles softly at his wife when she starts speaking. “Really good. At least from my side,” she giggles, her thick accent noticeable in her voice, but both Amara and Jack find it cute.
“The same goes for me. I made a lot of friends here, and I have a job I really enjoy, so it’s amazing here.” Spencer finishes, kissing the side of his wife's head.
“Just a quick question. Are you planning on staying here for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day?” Amara asks out of place, but she needs to know if she has to go grocery shopping because they have food only for two of them.
“Yeah, I thought it was clear.” her mother says in a ‘duh’ tone, rolling her eyes.
“Okay, I was just asking,” Amara murmurs shaking her head slightly. Jack squeezes her thigh, not wanting her to have a fight with her mom or to be sad. “I will go grocery shopping tomorrow, I’ll take Nico with me because I want you to stay in here with them,” she whispers in his ear and then looks into his eyes pleadingly.
“Yeah, sure baby.” He kisses the side of Amara’s face bringing her closer to him.
“Hi, sorry about this,” Amara says when she enters Nico’s car. It’s seven a.m., and she is on her way to do the grocery shopping.
“Hey, it’s okay. I get it,” He smiles at you as he pulls off. “So how long are they staying?” he asks slowing down at the lights, handing her his phone so she can play their shared playlist.
“Until Christmas Day, " she says with annoyance. It’s not that she doesn’t love her family—she does, well, at least her brother’s family—but she wants a quiet and calm Christmas.
“That long?” he asks in disbelief, his brows almost touching his hairline. “Jesus, good luck with them.”
“Yeah, thank you.” She sighs, resting her head against the seat. “Anyway, I need to buy more food because I had only for me, Jack, and Lu,” she sighs again, opening her notes where she had written the shopping list last night.
“I think if Luke finds out your family is here, he’ll stay at mine. You know he doesn’t like them,” he says, trying to make something funny from the situation, but when Amara looks at him with sadness in her eyes, he instantly regrets it. “I didn’t mean it like that, Ara.” He sighs, mentally slapping himself.
“I know, Ni. I’m just sad that they are as they are.”
“Yeah well, you got to see them only once per year so don’t let them overwhelm you. You have your family here. You know that guys love you.”
“Yeah, I know, and I love them.” she smiles nudging his hand.
“Okay, now tell me where we are going.”
Amara wakes up due to loud sounds coming from the kitchen. She looks next to her, where Jack usually lies when he has a day off, but not today. In her pajamas, she leaves the bedroom, only to be met with the loud voices of her mother and Adela and the sweet smell of something Jack is cooking.
Still sleepy she walks through the living room, not caring about the looks her mother and sister are giving her, and enters the kitchen, her head bumping into something firm but soft.
“Oh babes,” Jack chuckles, wrapping his hands around her as does she. “Still sleeping, right?” he asks pressing soft kisses in her hair making her melt into his embrace.
Tiredly she nods against his chest, breathing in his calming scent. Her arms lock behind Jack's back as she presses tighter against his firm body.
“You want coffee and something for breakfast, Berry?” he asks, his hand rubbing comforting circles on her back because he knows that waking up for her is sometimes hard.
“Please.” She nods and rasps out.
“Okay, go get yourself ready and when I finish your food I’ll come for you okay? I am just finishing their breakfast and then I’ll politely tell them to go out for a few hours so Luke can come over and help us prepare the food. Okay?” he whispers in her ear, gently unlocking her hands from behind his back.
“Thank you, J.” She kisses his cheek and turns around walking out of the kitchen to their bedroom, but when she’s already inside she hears something that catches her ear.
“No wonder Jack flirts with me when she looks like this.”
Amara closes the door behind herself taking in a deep breath. “Jack loves you. He would never flirt with Adela.” She says to herself trying to believe those words, but this little voice inside her head tells her that she’s naive if she thinks that he would not.
She hates it when her head is against her. The voice inside her should say ‘Girl! You are gorgeous and you know Jack’s head over heels in love with you! He would never!’ but it says the opposite, and she hates it.
She enters the bathroom and looks at her face in the mirror. She cringes at the sight. Her hair is messy, and she has marks from the pillow on her cheeks.
She shakes her head and starts with her morning skin routine.
“Lu? Can you please hand me the sour cream, please?” she says over her shoulder.
“Yeah sure,” he smiles, opening the fridge and pulling out the sour cream and handing it to her. “You are doing mashed potatoes?”
“Yeah, the cheddar ones. Why? You don’t like them?” she asks in horror as she turns at him with tears forming in her eyes. This is the first Christmas she has together with Jack and Luke, plus her family and she doesn’t want to mess up.
She loves Jack’s family, and she really doesn’t want them to hate her, just because she cooked something her sons don’t eat.
“No, no I love them, really Berry!” Luke says quickly, not wanting his sister-in-law to cry.
“Really?” she looks up at him, from under her lashes, wiping under her eyes.
“We all love them, if Quinn was here, he would eat it all by himself.” He says with a smile, bringing her in a hug. She laughs at his comment snuggling inside his chest.
“Oh, come one Luke! Find your own girlfriend and leave mine.” Jack shouts when he sees his brother hugging his girlfriend.
Luke moves from her with his hands in the air, laughing at his brother’s jealous ass. “Calm down big boy! Just having a brother and sister moment with my sister.”
“Well, I found her first so find yours.” He murmurs as cradles Amara in his arms. She stays there for a while but after a few seconds, she gets out of his embrace and moves to the mashed potatoes she was doing a moment ago.
Right now she doesn’t really wanna be in Jack’s presence after what she heard, but she doesn't want to create tension here, especially on Christmas, so she smiles at him and continues cooking.
“Okay so I am gonna do the Prime Rib, so you Luke, you can make the stuffing, what do you say?” Jack suggests, sending Luke a look that says, ‘don’t you dare’. Luke chuckles and nods his head, all three of them getting into the work.
After about three hours of cooking, they are already done and curled up on their couch. “Lu, I just want you to know that if you don’t want to spend Christmas with us because of my family, Nico said that he will be glad if you come over,” Amara says in a sad tone because she knows he will probably leave when he gets to meet his family.
“No, I wanna spend Christmas with you guys! It is the first Christmas away from home and I’m thrilled to spend it with you!” he looks at his sister-in-law with a wide smile on her lips. “And I am sure your family isn’t that bad.” He smiles at her, really thinking that her family isn’t that bad.
“You don’t know them, buddy.” Jack sighs quietly to Luke and pulls Amara closer to him, kissing her hair.
“So We have this little tradition in our family,” Jack says as you all stand by the table, waiting for the toast. He looks at Luke who is standing right next to him.
“Yeah we all say one word to describe what we are grateful for, so if you wouldn’t mind, doing it?” he cocks his head to the side measuring the people around the table.
The first one to speak is Adela, who throws her hair behind her shoulder, fluttering her lashes at him.
“No, of course, we wouldn’t,” she says in a flirty voice, causing Jack to send her a forced smile. He doesn’t notice the look Amara gives him and his sister as she watches her flirt with him.
“Yeah, I actually like your tradition.” Spencer smiles and Anniken nods in agreement.
“Okay, what do you say Berry?” he asks with a lovesick smile which drops when he sees her looking down on the table.
She quickly whips her head up, giving him a half smile and nodding her head in agreement.
“Okay, I’ll start,” Luke coughs trying to melt the tension between Jack and Amara. “Sister.” She smiles, winking at Amara who blushes at his words.
“Uhm, shop.” Amara’s mother says, earning a giggles from Adela who obviously know what is she talking about.
The room is then filled with words such as ‘love’ ‘family’ ‘Berkin’ and ‘toys’ before the turn is on Amara who looks at Luke and then at Jack finding the right word for what she wants to say.
“Devil’s,” she says, giving Luke and Jack a cheeky smile as she thinks of all the boys on the team, especially Jack, Luke, and Nico.
Luke blows her a kiss and wiggles her brows at her.
“Okay and now the cherry on the top.” Luke points at his brother, as Adela’s giggles fill the room.
“Strawberry.” He says, not listening to Adela's words as his eyes are locked on the pretty girl beside him. Amara raises his head, her eyes sparkling with love as she looks into Jack’s blue ones. She smiles at him and takes his hand in hers, squeezing it tenderly.
“Okay so everyone said what they wanted and now is a time for toast and dinner,” Luke says taking in hand his glass of white wine. Everyone follows as the toast for Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
“Oh Jezz, Lu!” Jack suddenly whines, making Amara flinch, on her seat, because she didn’t expect it. “Sorry, baby.” He apologizes immediately, kissing the top of her hand. “Did you order the present for mom and dad?” he looks at his younger brother with wide eyes.
Luke stops in his tracks, reviewing the last week if he had time to order it or not. “Yeah, yeah, I did! I was on a call with Quinn when I booked it.”
“Thank God.” Jack sighs in relief, stuffing his mouth with mashed potatoes.
“So, Jack, I watched your games, you play amazing!” Adela says in a flirty tone, while her mom smiles at Jack as if she knows what is her daughter trying to do.
“Oh uhm, thank you,” He clears his throat, swallowing the food. “I am just doing my job as best I can just like the other guys on our team. Nothing special,” he shrugs, squirming in his seat uncomfortably. “Actually, Luke here is rocking!” he tries to draw the attention away from himself.
“Oh shut it, Jack.” Luke blushes slightly at his words.
“What! It’s true Lukey! You are rocking it!” Amara smiles at him, sending him a wink. Luke shrugs it off, putting more food on his plate.
“And Jacky, you are defenceman? Or wing? I have a mess in this hockey dictionary.” She giggles and flatters her lashes at him.
Amara rolls her eyes at her sister and tries to swallow the gulp in her throat as she tries to not be jealous, or let her thoughts and the voice in her head win, but it is hard as she watches her sister flirt with her boyfriend, and him, seemingly not noticing it or liking it.
She looks at the other end of the table, where she sees her brother already looking at her with his protective look like he’s about to say something, but she just shakes her head, not wanting to make a scene.
Spencer clenches his jaw and sends triggers through Adela's head.
“I am center, but Lukey here is defenseman.” Jack points at Luke, who is stuffing his mouth with the stuffing.
“Oh, nice,” She nods, with no interest in her voice. “So, what is your job as center?” she asks him again, pursing her lips and checking Jack out.
Just as she says it, Amara abruptly stands up, the chair almost falling on the ground. “Excuse me, I need to freshen up.” She says with her voice croaking in the process. Luke looks at his brother, shaking his head lightly. He noticed it too, but it seems like his brother is oblivious to the fact that Adela is flirting with him.
“Always had to be dramatic.” Her father says, shaking his head. Adela and her mother laugh, nodding their head.
Luke stands up and with an apologetic smile, he leaves the room. He knocks on the door to Amara’s and Jack’s room, opening it, only to see no one in there, so he knocks on the door to the bathroom.
“It’s me, Ara, can you please open the door?”
“I am fine, Lu, go eat, I’ll come in a minute.” She says calmly, but Luke can say, she’s crying.
“Amara!” he sighs in a warning tone. He knows it came out a bit too harsh, but he also knows how to handle her in these situations.
A few seconds later he hears the click of the lock and shuffling in there. He opens the door and immediately pulls Amara in a hug. “Hey, don’t cry!” he whispers in her ear when he hears her sniffing. “You know Jack loves you,” he rubs her back, trying to calm her down. Amara nods in agreement, and sniffs, pulling away from him slightly. “He couldn’t be a minute without you and you know that, sis.”
“But he…she is prettier, and…and nothing like me,” she sniffles, new tears forming in her eyes. “She’s slimmer, she’s prettier, and just has everything I don’t.”
“Hey! Don’t ever talk like this about yourself! You are gorgeous and I bet everything that Jack thinks you are the most gorgeous woman in this whole world, so don’t!” he says harshly, but he means it in a good and Amara knows it.
“I am sorry.” She sighs, wiping under her eyes.
“Come on, sis! Let's get you cleaned! You look like a clown.” He chuckles teasingly, earning giggles from her. “And I thought something was wrong with you being nice to me.” She smacks his chest but moves to the mirror to freshen herself up.
“And I thought there was something wrong with you being all nice to me.” She smacks his chest but moves to the mirror to freshen herself up.
“Is everything okay?” Jack whispers in her ear as she sits down on her seat by the table.
She nods her head, smiling at him a kissing his cheek. “Yeah, everything is fine. Sorry.”
“We’ll talk about this later hm, pretty girl?” his smiles wide and his hand reaches to her face to tug the strand of her hair behind her ear.
— — — — — — — —
“Berry,” Jack says in surprise as he opens his present. “No baby!” he sighs, looking at his girlfriend in awe.
“What? You’ve talking about it for the past few months,” she shrugs, smiling at him teasingly.
“Yeah, but…” he starts but she shushes him.
“No buts, J. You wanted this, so I bought it. Thank you is enough.” She giggles, wiggling her brows at him.
“Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!” he whispers between the kisses he gives her. “I love you.” He then pulls away looking down at the new game for their ps5.
“You are welcome.” She smiles, moving his hair from his forehead.
“Don’t want to interrupt this… whatever is happening here,” Adela says and throws her hand in the air. “But I have something for you Jack.” She smiles flirty and hands him her preciously wrapped gift. Amara scoots away, sighing slightly.
“Oh, uhm… Thanks, but I have nothing for you.” Jack takes the gift from her with an awkward smile.
“Oh, that's okay.” She waves it off and sits in the space Amara made when she moved away.
Spencer is watching this whole scene that’s happening in front of his eyes.
His eyes are switching between his two sisters as one is sitting with tears forming in her eyes as she watches the other one flirting with her boyfriend.
Jack opens the present, wincing when he sees, a bracelet with A and J initials on it.
“Isn’t it cute! Now we match!” she shows him his wrist where is the same bracelet.
“Enough!” Amara yells, making everyone look at her with wide eyes. They never heard her yell. Ever. Adela rolls her eyes at her sister's dramaticism and turns back at Jack. “Oh, for fucks sake Adela!” she shouts again, this time walking to her a gripping her arm to move her away from her boyfriend.
“What now, drama queen?” she says annoyed, folding her arms across his chest.
“What now? WHAT NOW!” Amara repeats with sarcasm leaking from it. “I’ll tell you what! I am sick of you, flirting with my boyfriend in front of me!” she spits in her face, tears forming in her eyes. “I know I was never good for you,” this time she looks at her parents. “Since the moment, when doctors said to you that I have ADHD, you started treating me like trash. I got it okay! You wanted a perfect child but guess what! I AM NOT!” her voice cracks as she speaks, causing Jack to wince and stand up, but Amara looks at him and shakes her head. “And you! You are so fed up with your beauty, that you can’t act like normal sister. I know I am nothing like you! I am not slim or don’t have the perfect nails and other things, and it really, really hurts when you keep showing it to me every time you visit,” now Amara is crying, her mascara sliding down her cheeks, as she tries to breathe normally. “Now excuse me.” She whispers and runs inside their bedroom. Everyone sits in the living room in silence, before Adela breaks it.
“So dramatic. I don’t underst—”
“Shut up! Adela!” This time, it is Jack who yells. The vein on his forehead pops out and tears form in his eyes.
“I am so fed up with you! You are the most annoying person I have ever met,” he spits in her face turning to her parents, who are watching him with wide eyes, while Spencer watches him with a proud smile. “And you!” he points at them with venom in his voice. “You don’t deserve her as a daughter. I want the three of you out of my apartment right now! Pack your shits and leave. Luke, kick them out if they are not packed within half an hour,” he says to his brother in a calmer voice and turns to Spencer and his family with an apologetic look. “You are always welcome here, you can stay here and…” Spencer interrupts him with a smile as he pulls him in a hug.
“Thank you, but we will leave too. Go check up on your girl. I am sure she needs you right now.” He pats his back, running to his bedroom.
He knocks on the door and says, “Berry? Can I come in? Please?” he hears, only shuffling coming from the room, so he decides to open the door, and to his surprise, they are open.
His heart drops when he sees his girlfriend’s body shaking from crying on their bed. He closes the door and strolls over to her, immediately pulling her to his lap.
“I am here! Don’t cry please!” he whispers in her ear, squeezing her to him even more. “It breaks my heart seeing you crying.” His voice croaks and tears stream down his face.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t—” she hiccups and sniffles, pulling her face away from Jack’s. “I didn’t want to make a scene.” She swallows hard but relaxes when she feels his hands on her face, wiping the tears away.
“No baby. You had all right to do it. And I am so fucking sorry. I shouldn’t have talked to her at all. I knew she was flirty, but I didn’t want them to make them feel uncomfortable in here,” He whispers, tears sliding down his cheeks. “But maybe that is exactly what I should do. And I am so sorry it made you feel like this! I love you so much! I love everything about you baby!” he says frantically, looking into her eyes, to make sure, she understands what he’s saying.
Amara smiles at him, her hands coming to his cheeks, and this time it is her job to wipe the tears on his cheeks. “I know and I am sorry that I ever doubt that.” She whispers resting her forehead on his.
“It’s okay. I guess I must do a better job in showing you.” He smirks through his tears and slightly tickles her, earning a shriek from her.
Amara lets out a loud sigh when he stops and looks into his blue eyes. “I think I need to say sorry to Spencer and his family. I ruined their Christm—”
“No, you don’t, they understand. And maybe we should stay here for the next twenty minutes. I kinda kicked your family out of here.” He says, chuckling nervously because he doesn’t know how she will react.
“Good,” Amara nods and presses her lips to his in a tender kiss. “Because I would do that if you don’t.” she giggles. Jack just looks at his girl, sitting on his lap and giggling.

25 days with Eminem
Eminem x reader
Day 25
The morning of Christmas Day was a mix of joy, chaos, and excitement as the family gathered in the living room, the massive Christmas tree twinkling with lights and surrounded by a mountain of gifts. Jackie was already babbling happily in his little holiday onesie, while Marshall shuffled in behind you, still looking half-asleep with a cup of coffee in hand.
“Alright, let’s get this started!” Stevie said, clapping her hands and eyeing the presents eagerly.
“Patience, Stevie,” you said with a laugh. “We’ve got to sing for the birthday girl first.”
“Oh, right,” Marshall said, setting his coffee down. He grinned at Hailie, who was perched on the arm of the couch. “Happy Birthday, kiddo. You’re, what, 15 now?”
Hailie rolled her eyes. “Nice try, Dad. I’m 29, and you know it.”
“28?! Where did the time go?” Marshall said dramatically, clutching his chest. “I feel ancient.”
“Because you are,” Alaina teased, ducking out of reach as Marshall playfully swung a pillow at her.
“Alright, enough!” you said, stepping in with Jackie in your arms. “Let’s sing for Hailie, and then we can get to presents before the little one starts tearing into them himself.”
Everyone burst into a slightly off-key rendition of “Happy Birthday,” with Jackie adding his own babbles and squeals to the mix. Hailie smiled the entire time, her cheeks flushed with a mix of embarrassment and joy.
“Thanks, everyone,” she said, blowing out the imaginary candle you pretended to hold out.
---
Once the birthday celebration was acknowledged, the present-opening frenzy began.
“Jackie first!” Hailie said, grabbing a small wrapped box and placing it in front of him.
Jackie’s tiny hands immediately grabbed at the wrapping paper, ripping it with determination. “Look at him go!” Marshall said proudly. “That’s my boy.”
When Jackie finally got the paper off, he stared at the plush reindeer inside with wide eyes before giving it a big slobbery hug.
“Aww!” you cooed, snapping a picture.
“Alright, my turn!” Stevie declared, diving for a present with her name on it.
The room descended into a flurry of wrapping paper and laughter as everyone opened their gifts. Marshall’s face lit up when he unwrapped a custom pair of sneakers you’d gotten him.
“Yo, these are sick!” he said, holding them up for everyone to see. “Babe, you outdid yourself.”
“Well, you deserve it,” you said, leaning over to kiss him on the cheek.
---
Amidst the chaos, Alaina unwrapped a box of makeup and gasped. “Okay, this is amazing. Who got me this?”
“I did,” Hailie said, smirking. “I figured you needed an upgrade from whatever expired mascara you’ve been using.”
“Hey!” Alaina shot back, throwing a piece of wrapping paper at her sister.
Marshall was grinning as he opened his next present, which turned out to be a “World’s Okayest Dad” mug.
“Wow, okay,” he said, holding it up with a mock-serious expression. “Who thought this was funny?”
“Me,” you admitted, laughing. “It seemed fitting.”
“You’re lucky I love you,” he muttered, pulling you into a quick hug.
---
Jackie, meanwhile, was more interested in the wrapping paper than his actual presents, throwing pieces into the air like confetti.
“Looks like Jackie’s got his own party going,” Alaina said, dodging a piece of paper he launched her way.
“Can you blame him? Wrapping paper is way more fun than socks or sweaters,” Marshall said, nodding toward the pile of clothes you’d handed him earlier.
“You need those sweaters, and you know it,” you shot back.
As the morning went on, the pile of presents dwindled, and the living room looked like a tornado of wrapping paper had blown through. Jackie eventually got tired of his reindeer toy and decided to crawl over to Marshall, tugging at his pants for attention.
“Looks like someone’s ready for round two of breakfast,” Marshall said, scooping him up.
“I’ll get his bottle,” you said, heading toward the kitchen.
---
With presents unwrapped and Jackie happily munching on his bottle, Hailie’s birthday celebration came back into focus.
“So, Hailie,” Stevie said, leaning back on the couch. “What’s the plan for your big day? Cake? Spa day? Let Dad embarrass you with a speech?”
“Oh, I’ve got plenty of material for a speech,” Marshall said, smirking. “Remember that time when you—”
“Let’s not,” Hailie interrupted quickly, her face turning pink.
“Fine, but only because it’s your birthday,” Marshall said, chuckling.
The rest of the morning passed with plenty of laughter, teasing, and the occasional cry from Jackie whenever someone took away a piece of wrapping paper he wasn’t quite finished with yet. The house was filled with warmth, love, and just the right amount of chaos—exactly how Christmas morning should be.
As the wrapping paper mountain grew and the gifts dwindled, Marshall cleared his throat and held up a small box wrapped in silver paper. The room quieted, and everyone turned to look at him.
“Hailie, this one’s for you,” he said, his voice softer than usual.
Hailie raised an eyebrow but smiled as she reached for the box. “Another one? Dad, you’ve already spoiled me.”
“Just open it,” Marshall said, sitting back with his arms crossed, a faint smile playing on his lips.
Carefully unwrapping the gift, Hailie revealed a delicate heart-shaped pendant on a silver chain. Her eyes widened as she opened the pendant to find a tiny picture of her and Marshall from when she was a little girl. On the opposite side, there was a short, heartfelt poem etched into the silver:
There were nights when the world fell apart,
When the weight of it all crushed my heart.
Dark days when I barely could stand,
But you gave me hope with your hand.
I fought through the chaos and pain,
Through storms of regret, through the rain.
The only light that kept me true,
Hailie, that light was always you.
From trailer parks to stages bright,
You were my reason, my will to fight.
Without your laugh, your love, your face,
I’d have been lost in a darker place.
You saved me when I couldn’t save myself,
A reminder that life’s greatest wealth
Isn't in fame or what I’ve built,
But in your love, pure and unspilt.
So today I thank you, my guiding star,
For showing me what blessings are.
Happy birthday, my heart, my muse,
Hailie, I owe my life to you.
Hailie’s lips quivered as tears filled her eyes. She looked up at her father, who was watching her with an almost shy expression. “Dad... this is beautiful,” she whispered.
Marshall shrugged, though his own eyes were a little misty. “You’re 29. Figured you deserved something special. You’re my firstborn, Hailie. Always will be. Thought you should know how much that means to me.”
Without a word, Hailie got up and hugged her dad tightly, burying her face in his shoulder. “Thank you, Dad. I love you so much.”
Marshall hugged her back tightly.“Love you too, baby. Always.”
The room was silent except for a few sniffles. Alaina and Stevie exchanged looks, clearly touched by the moment, while you smiled softly, holding Jackie close.
After a moment, you cleared your throat. “Well, I think this calls for cake, don’t you?”
“Cake!” Stevie cheered, breaking the emotional tension.
You disappeared into the kitchen and returned with a homemade birthday cake covered in Hailie’s favorite frosting and a big "29" candle on top. Everyone gathered around as you set the cake down on the coffee table.
“Make a wish, Hailie,” Alaina said, nudging her sister with a grin.
Hailie smiled, wiped her eyes, and leaned over the cake. “Alright, here goes.”
She closed her eyes for a moment, then blew out the candles to loud cheers and applause.
---
As you all enjoyed the cake, Jackie was happily smashing crumbs onto his high chair tray. Marshall shook his head, laughing at the mess.
“I swear, this kid’s eating style is the exact opposite of mine,” he said.
“Well, he’s got his own flair,” you teased, wiping frosting off Jackie’s nose.
“Hey, don’t forget about me!” Stevie said, holding out her empty plate for a second slice.
“Fine,” you said, laughing as you served her another piece. “But only because it’s Christmas.”
The rest of the afternoon was filled with laughter, love, and lots of frosting smudges as the family celebrated both Christmas and Hailie’s special day. It was a perfect and unforgettable way to mark 29 wonderful years.
-
As the celebration wound down and the house finally fell quiet, you slipped away to the bedroom, where Marshall was already waiting. He was sitting on the edge of the bed, scrolling through his phone, but he looked up when you walked in.
"Long day," he said, stretching and leaning back on his hands. "I think I ate more frosting than Jackie."
You laughed softly, shutting the door behind you. "Well, you’ll need your energy for what I’ve got planned."
Marshall raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Oh yeah? What’s that supposed to mean?"
You walked over to the closet and pulled out a small, neatly wrapped gift bag you’d been saving. Setting it on the bed next to him, you smirked. "Merry Christmas, babe. This one’s just for you."
Marshall eyed the bag suspiciously, then looked back at you. "Do I need to brace myself?"
"Just open it," you said, biting your lip to hold back a grin.
He pulled the tissue paper out of the bag and froze, holding up a deep red lingerie set that was both elegant and seductive. His expression shifted instantly—a mix of surprise, amusement, and something else you couldn’t quite describe.
“Well, damn,” he said, running his fingers over the fabric. “You really know how to pick a gift.”
"Only the best for you," you said, stepping closer. "I figured it’s the kind of present we both get to enjoy."
Marshall leaned back with a slow smile, his eyes scanning you from head to toe. "You’re gonna kill me, you know that? But I’m not complaining."
You tilted your head playfully. "So... you like it?"
He chuckled, setting the lingerie down and tugging you toward him by your waist. "Like it? Woman, I love it. And I love you for making my Christmas way better than I thought it could get."
You leaned down to kiss him softly, letting the moment linger. "Merry Christmas, Marshall."
"Merry Christmas," he murmured, pulling you into his lap. "Now, let’s see how this ‘gift’ works out."
With laughter and love in the air, it was the perfect end to a day full of family, celebration, and just the right amount of spice.
You smirked as you slipped off his lap and grabbed the lingerie set from the bed. “Hold that thought,” you said teasingly, holding the fabric up. “I’ll be right back.”
Marshall leaned back on his hands, watching you with a raised eyebrow. “You’re really gonna make me wait?”
“You’ll survive,” you shot back with a playful wink before disappearing into the bathroom.
Inside, you quickly changed into the deep red set, adjusting the delicate straps and making sure everything fit perfectly. The color contrasted beautifully against your skin, and the intricate lace details were as stunning as you hoped. You gave yourself a quick once-over in the mirror, smoothing your hair and biting your lip as you thought about Marshall’s reaction.
“Don’t take too long, or I’m coming in there!” Marshall called from the other side of the door, his voice laced with impatience and amusement.
“Patience, Marshall!” you replied, laughing softly as you grabbed the matching robe to complete the look.
When you finally stepped out of the bathroom, his jaw practically dropped. His eyes widened as they trailed over you, and he sat up straighter on the bed, clearly at a loss for words.
“So... what do you think?” you asked, twirling slightly to give him the full effect.
Marshall blinked, a slow smile spreading across his face. “Damn,” he muttered, running a hand over his jaw. “That’s... that’s better than I imagined.”
You laughed, walking over to him with a confident sway in your hips. “Merry Christmas, Mr. Mathers.”
He shook his head, reaching out to take your hand and pulling you closer. “You’re gonna drive me insane, you know that?”
You leaned down, your faces inches apart. “That’s kind of the point.”
Marshall grinned, his hands sliding around your waist. “Best gift ever,” he murmured, pulling you into his lap. “But I think I need to give you something in return.”
“Oh?” you teased, running your fingers through his hair. “And what would that be?”
“I’ll show you,” he said with a wink, leaning in to kiss you deeply, his hands tracing the delicate fabric of the robe.
The rest of the night was filled with stolen kisses, playful laughter, and the kind of moments that made your love for each other feel even more special. It was a Christmas neither of you would forget anytime soon.
Marshall's lips trailed along your jawline as he held you close, his voice soft but full of warmth. “You seriously outdid yourself tonight. I don’t think anything’s gonna top this Christmas.”
You chuckled, letting your fingers rest on his shoulders. “I’ll take that as a compliment. But if you think this is the peak, just wait until next year.”
He leaned back slightly, smirking as his hands rested on your waist. “Oh, so this is a yearly tradition now? I’m not complaining.”
“You’d better not be,” you teased, brushing your thumb along his cheek. “Besides, you deserve it. You’ve been amazing this year, Marshall. With Jackie, the girls, everything. I wanted to show you how much I appreciate you.”
Marshall’s expression softened, and he pulled you closer. “You’re the one who deserves the appreciation. You’ve kept this family together, made every day special—even when Jackie’s crying his lungs out or the girls are driving us insane. I don’t say it enough, but I’m lucky as hell to have you.”
Your heart swelled at his words, and you leaned in to kiss him again, savoring the moment. “You’re pretty great yourself, you know. But enough of the mushy talk,” you said, grinning as you sat back slightly. “I think you’re still supposed to unwrap this gift.”
Marshall raised an eyebrow, his grin widening. “Oh, am I now?”
You nodded, slipping the robe off your shoulders and letting it pool around you. His breath hitched as his eyes roamed over you, and he let out a low whistle.
“Damn, woman,” he muttered, shaking his head. “You’re gonna make me forget how to talk.”
“Good,” you said with a playful smirk. “Talking’s overrated anyway.”
He laughed, pulling you back into his arms. “You’re somethin’ else, you know that?”
“Mmhmm,” you murmured, your hands sliding under his shirt to feel the warmth of his skin. The heat between you grew with every touch, and you felt your pulse quicken in anticipation.
Marshall’s hands found their way to the clasp of your bra, his fingers fumbling slightly with the unfamiliar design. You giggled, leaning back to give him better access. “Let me help with that,” you whispered, guiding his hands. The bra fell away, revealing your bare breasts to the cool air of the room. His eyes darkened as he took in the sight, and he leaned in to kiss the delicate skin of your neck, sending shivers down your spine.
With a gentle tug, he removed the lingerie, leaving you completely exposed to his hungry gaze. You felt a thrill of desire as he took in every inch of you, his eyes full of passion and adoration. You reached for his pants, eager to reciprocate, but he stopped you. “Let me enjoy the view for a moment,” he said, his voice a gruff whisper.
He slid his hands down to your hips, caressing the smooth skin before moving to the thin strip of fabric that separated you from him. His fingers danced along the edge, teasing you with the promise of what was to come. You could feel the warmth of his breath on your skin, and the anticipation was almost too much to handle.
Finally, with a swift movement, he pulled your panties aside, exposing your wetness to the cool air. You gasped as he kissed you deeply, his hand sliding down to explore your folds. His thumb circled your clit, applying just the right amount of pressure to make you squirm.
“Marshall,” you breathed, arching your back as his touch grew more insistent. His kisses grew more feverish, and you knew you couldn’t wait much longer. He stood you up, his hands supporting your weight, and guided you to the bed. You lay back, watching him as he removed his own clothing, revealing his hard length.
He climbed onto the bed, his body covering yours. The warmth of his skin pressed against you, and you felt his hardness against your thigh. He positioned himself at your entrance, his eyes never leaving yours. You nodded, giving him the silent go-ahead.
With one smooth thrust, he filled you, making you gasp out in pleasure. He paused for a moment, letting you adjust to the feeling before he began to move. His rhythm was slow and steady, building the tension between you until you were both panting and desperate for more.
You wrapped your legs around his waist, pulling him closer as he drove into you. The sound of your skin slapping together filled the room, punctuated by your gasps and his growls of pleasure. The Christmas lights cast a warm glow over the scene, adding an intimate ambience to the already steamy room.
You could feel the orgasm building, tightening your muscles and making your toes curl. “Marshall, I’m close,” you whispered, your voice breathless. He increased his pace, his eyes locked on yours, watching for the moment you would shatter.
And then it hit you, a wave of pleasure so intense it took your breath away. You cried out, your body convulsing around him as you came. He followed shortly after, his own release hot and powerful.
You collapsed against the bed, your bodies tangled in a mess of limbs and discarded clothing. The room was silent except for your ragged breathing, the occasional crackle of the fireplace, and the distant sound of Christmas carols playing.
Marshall rolled onto his side, pulling you into his arms. You rested your head on his chest, listening to the steady thump of his heart. “Merry Christmas, Y/n,” he murmured, pressing a kiss to your forehead.
You snuggled closer, feeling more content than you had in a long time. “Merry Christmas, Marshall,” you whispered back, your voice filled with love and satisfaction. This was a memory you’d cherish for a lifetime—a perfect blend of passion, love, and the magic of Christmas.

you got it boss!! I wrote this as a romantic Scout x reader, hope that’s ok!!
Dad!Scout x reader
SPOILERS
-if this is a romantic relationship, He was hesitant to have you meet his kids at first. Hell, he doesn’t even tell you about them at first! He has been divorced three times. So he wants someone who will actually take care of his children and care about them like he does. -You find out when Jeremy mentions “his girls having a mean swing” when it came to baseball. You were shocked to say the least. He quickly explains and DOES NOT apologize for not telling you about a month into this relationship. But he will show you photographs of his children playing with their toys, swimming, visiting Santa. -Once there is commitment, Jeremy slowly breaks it to his children. He explains that he is in love with someone and that he does not expect them to view his partner as their own parent. He is really nervous about this, he is used to raising them alone. He doesn’t not want them to get attached to someone who might not be a good caretaker.
-It was a cold winter night. He invited you over for dinner to meet them. You immediately heard sounds of squealing and giggling all about once you entered the house. Lights and paper decorations along the walls and any thing that could be wrapped with lights. The pattering feet of the big eyed, brown haired girl stopped in front of you. You put your hands behind your back. “Are you Daddy’s new partner?” She asked, looking blankly. “Yes, sweetie. You must be the little princess I’ve heard all about.” You smiled at her.
She flashed her teeth and giggled. “I’m a princess assassin.” -You we’re already going to love them.
Scout came in quickly with a bit of sweat on his forehead. “Oookay, honey, why don’t you find your brothers and sister and tell em to help set the table.”
“Ok, daddy!” She ran into the living room to my left.
-To be honest, Jeremy would never be embarrassed of his kids and encourage them to be who they are. But he really is nervous of scaring you away tonight.
-“He-e-y, sweet’art!” He kissed your cheek, then looked down at your hands. “I just started the chicken.”
-He lead you to the kitchen by hand.
“So, Tanya is a Princess and an assassin?” You mused.
Jeremy is gripping the counter. “Heh, yeah, that’s my girl!”
“I mean, of course, she’s your daughter, dummy.” You playfully punched his shoulder.
He just exhaled internally, air in his stomach. “Oh, sooo, you do like em, right?”
He grimanced.
“Of course I do! Why wouldn’t I?” This man could collapse, he is so overjoyed.
“Oh, no reason.”
-Around the end of the rectangular table, the kids sat parallel to each other, while you and Jeremy sat next to each other. On your right, Tanya and Andy and on his left, Tommy and Sierra.
“Daddy! Can we play outside after dinner?” Sierra asked loudly.
“I don’t see why not.” He looked back at you, waiting for approval.
“I don’t mind. Whatever you guys wanna do.”
“Do you like baseball?” Tanya asked before biting into her chicken.
“I’m not much of a player. More of a watcher.”
“Hm.” She furrowed her eyebrows.
“Oh! Daddy, can we go sledding?” Tanya spoke up once again.
“I don’t know. (Name) might have to go home soon.”
“I can stay. I’d love to go.” You smiled at them.
Once dishes were cleaned and the table was cleared, Jeremy drove you down to the hills. He helped drag the sleds and fasteners to the tops of the slope. The glistening, white hills painted a light blue from the fading sun and drifting moon. Thankfully, you had your scarf on and the children were bundled up. Jeremy fastened Tanya and Sierra onto one sled while you took care of Andy and Tommy.
“You guys wanna see a trick me and my dad did back when I was little?” You whispered like it was some forbidden secret.
“Yeah!” Andy spoke up.
“Tell us!”
“Ok, but, hm, I dunno if you two can handle it.” Jeremy gave a head start and pushed his girls down the hill. Then Andy shouted.
“We can do it! We can do it!”
You chuckled. “Alright, hold on!”
You spun the circular sled and couple of times to gain some traction and before running the disk towards the slope. The sled spun out and the went downhill, a dizzying spell. However, the sled scuffed the snow into the icy underbelly it covered up. The boys raised their hands in the air as they cheered. You screamed for them to hold on and saw a mound of snow ahead. It could be a large snow ball, but it also could have been a rock under there! You sprinted. It was hard to run with the ice at your feet, but you did not care. These kids were your responsibility and you did not want anything to happen to them. You ran, but Jeremy ran faster. Your hair moved slightly when he sped by you. He grabbed the sled and it came to a tumbling halt. His body hit the snow.
“Oh my god! Boys, are you ok?!” You caught up to them.
Then you lost your cerebellum from the ice and landed on Jeremy with an OOF! He groaned.
“Yeah, yeah, we’re ok,” Jeremy said as you lifted yourself off of him. He nursed Andy’s head, “What the hell ‘appened?”
“Jeremy, it was all my fault. Please don’t be mad at them, I was just trying to spin them down the hill and- and they took off and there was ice and-“
“That was amazing!” Tommy shouted.
“Can we go again, Miss (Name)?” Andy asked.
Nervous eyes met Jeremy’s. “Definitely not.” You said.
He only laughed. Then shrugged it off, thankfully.
”Let’s just do sledding the regular way.” “Aww.” The boys said in unison.
The sound of crunching snow and the hollow plastic dragging on the ground approached.
”Can (Name) push me next? Please!” Tanya asked.
“Me too! No fair!” Sierra pouted.
“I can push all of you, if you promise to keep your hands on the sled.” You said sternly.
For the next hour, you had pushed all of them repeatedly. Your back began to hurt. You huffed after sending Andy and Sierra down the hill again before looking behind you.
“You wanna take over? Maybe just once?”
“Nah, this is great!” Jeremy chuckled.
You held your knees and hunched.
“Alright, alright, kids, Grab your sleds!”He shouted.
“Aww.”
Mugs were set at the table while Jeremy prepared yours. The kids playing in the other room. The kettle of water was nearly empty. He stirred the hot chocolate cocoa before grabbing the whipped cream can.
“You fancy?”
“Yes, please.”
He topped yours off and then his, carrying the mugs to the table. Thanking him. You waited a moment for your drink to cool down. You felt a small pressure on your shoulder. A nice weight. A gentle touch. Jeremy’s head nestled into your neck.
“Thank you. For, y’know, playing with my kids and all.”
“Are you kidding? Why wouldn’t I wanna be around the coolest kids ever?”
“You ain’t got a clue what that means to me, Doll.”
All of the children rush in, Andy tripped. Sierra pulled him up while Tanya screeched.
“Dad! Can (Name) sleep over?”

merry christmas to everyone who celebrates (it's almost 10pm here rn)
reader pov
the sound of overlapping voices fills the room. plates are being passed around, utensils clank against bowls and the smell of the variety of food invades my senses in the best way. the kids have been called back from whers they were playing to join us for the grand dinner we were all anticipating the whole year. christmas dinner with my husband's family and it's our 4th time attending, this time with yet another new born along with our four year old. now i know what people say about the father/husband's side of the family but i adore each and every one of these people.
however, i have learnt over the years seonghwa and i have been together that his family knows how to do chaos. they do it too well, if you ask me.
“pass the japchae, would you?” seonghwa's cousin calls out from the far end of the table, leaning forward and almost knocking over a glass of water in the process, making mr park let out an exasperated breath.
“relax ara, it’s coming. you act like you haven’t eaten all year.” he says, shaking his head.
“she eats every two hours like clockwork.” seonghwa jokes, dodging the chopsticks ara half-heartedly aims at him.
i can’t help but laugh as i scoop some onto my plate. his family is loud, hilarious, and utterly shameless when it comes to teasing each other, but its how they show love.
at the other end of the table is our 4 year old daughter who's sitting on a booster seat along with her cousins without a care in the world. she's having so much fun over there, i might just leave her here. she's busy chatting away with her uncle about lord knows what.
"uncle junho is eating so fast!" she exclaims almost too loud. she fits right in, i could tear up.
"i'm hungry. look at you, you're eating like a bird." he tries defending himself which offends her.
"no i'm not. daddy, uncle junho say i eat like a bird."
"she does not eat like a bird." seonghwa says, coming to the defense of the little girl which brings laughter to everyone around the table.
seonghwa's aunt—we call her aunt vera because she said to calm her that—clears her throat, drawing everyone's attention as she picks up the untouched dish from the table. everyone quiets down and eyes the dish. not a word being uttered in disbelief. good or bad, it's up to you to decide.
"what is it?" her son asks what i think were all wondering.
"its my famous brussels sprouts gratin." she declairs brightly as if she just stated the obvious amd the room falls awkward silent with a strained "oh" here and there.
"is that what it is?" i hear someone feintly ask and i'm almost certain its seonghwa's sister, seonghee.
9"famous where?" junho asks under his breath, earning him a nudge from seonghee.
i turn and glance at seonghwa who's biting his lip to keep from laughing, but the look we exchange says everything.
"well... thanks for bringing it." my mother in law says to her still enthusiastic older sister.
"oh of course. i thought i'd add a little something different to the table. a little western touch for our dearest daughter in law's sake." she enthuses, oblivious to the looks of everyone around the table. even the kids are quiet.
"wow... thank you aunt. that's very thoughtful of you." i respond politely and junho stifles a laugh which spreads to ara.
"you don't have to eat it." seonghwa whispers and i nudge him with my elbow.
"looks funny." seonghee's son says, breaking the silence and seonghee looks at him completely defeated.
"sweetheart." she breathes out and everyone laughs, including aunt vera.
"eunbyeol, dear. eat your carrots." my mother in law says to our daughter but miss girl hates vegetables. no matter how i cook them, she hates them. only way to make her eat is if i make a full vegetarian meal. then she doesn't have a choice.
the little girl just shakes her head vigorously.
it was worth a shot. seonghwa and i just give his mother an apologetic look.
as the meal continues, the gratin remains mostly untouched, sitting forlornly in its dish as everyone conveniently “forgets” to pass it around. and by the time desert rolls around, we're all pretty much stuffed. i stepped out to breastfeed the littke monster who woke up screaming her little lungs out. seonghwa ran in panicking before he realized it was time to feed her.
"ready to go see everyone again my baby? wanna be held by big sister byeollie?" i coo at the baby who has a vice grip on my breast and is drinking for today and tomorrow.
"you two still good in here?" seonghwa asks, walking into the room and i nod at him.
"say we're fine papa." i prompt the little girl who is absolutely silent. the way we talk to babies needs to be investigated. "will you burp her?"
seonghwa nods and i hand him the baby who finally let go and he puts her on his shoulder and gently pats her back. once he's done with that we both walk out and eunbyeol is already in front of us.
"mommy, dadfu, is she awake?" she asks, her voice full of excitement. we already know she wants to play with her.
"wide awake." her eyes light up and seonghwa goes to sot down sk that eunbyeol can see her sister properly and her cousin joins in. seonghwa is smiling from ear to ear seeing how much eunbyeol adores her sister. nothing makes him happier than his daughters.
except me, of course.
a little while later, seonghwa joins me at the table where his mother, father, aunt vera, seonghee and ara are still sitting to have dessert.
as the night winds down, eunbyeol climbs into my lap, her energy finally starting to wane and seonghwa is in the other room with eunha and the guys. the room is still filled with the hum of conversation and laughter, and i feel a warm contentment settle over me.
“did you have fun tonight?” i ask her, brushing a strand of hair out of her face.
she nods sleepily, resting her head against my chest. “best christmas ever,” she murmurs.
yeah i know she's lying, she says this every year, but okay.
at the end of the night it's that bittersweet time to say goodbye to everyone.
i hug everyone, my mother in law giving me an especially long one, refusing to let go.
"mother, hugging her any longer, won't make them stay the night." junho jokes and seonghee flicks his head, causing him to whine. how this man has a whole kid is beyond me.
"drive safely, okay?" my mother in law says sadly and we nod.
"we will. bye everyone." seonghwa, who's carrying a sleeping eunbyeol says and we go to his car, settling the kids before getting in the car and driving away. another family christmas, successful.
