Hey same anon here. I did a little digging and found her suicide note.

To clear up my earlier question; who *was* she? She seemed special to a handful of people and I'm curious what she meant to you (if you're comfortable sharing, I can give you my DM if you want) and just...what was this person?

So, she was special to me. I never knew her in life, but when Leelah died, I was.. 15, and on the internet a lot. I spent a lot of my time escaping real life, because I was butting heads with my own parents over gender/sexuality. I had a lot of negative internal thoughts that I couldn't turn into productive external actions. Felt like there was no path for me.

When Leelah's note gained national attention, I just sort of broke down about it. It was everywhere on this site. All of my mutuals were reblogging all of the posts about it. A few years earlier, I had a friend pass away in a similar way, by choice, because they felt unloved too. I couldn't tell anyone because it was an internet friend, who I didn't even know the name of, who I knew almost nothing about. I was 12 and didn't think to ask. I ask, now.

Leelah opened a dialogue path for me, and she died to do it. I really do spend a lot of time on the what ifs. What if she just had one advocate. What if my friend did. Maybe we'd have two more people in the world. Maybe we could see Leelah grow up into a beautiful adult.

I remember there was a lot of chatter about Tumblr potentially taking down her blog (lazerprincess), so I felt like saving it for myself. I know a few people did similar.

I wanted to save her art, and her shitposts, and her clear/visible cries for help, and her personality. What of it that I could, anyway.

I think that Pacifica might take after her parents quite a bit when she's older.

Despite being around people like Dipper and Mabel, Wendy, Soos, Ford and Stan. And basically being raised and mentored by Fiddleford, there are moments where those Northwest traits come out.

It's in the way she sometimes glares, gaze full of that firm, unyielding Northwest authority. She has her mother, Priscilla's looks and frown, but has her father, Preston's personality, and temper. In Pacifica's eyes, these are traits she wishes she never had. Because it's hard looking in the mirror and seeing her parents staring back at her.

I also like to hc that Pacifica also has Abigale's eyes and gaze. In the moments of intelligence and in the spark of curiosity for more knowledge. In the way her gaze turns hard as ice or the way she's determined to accomplish things.

That being said July is Disability pride month!

As someone with depression and anxiety, this month means a lot t'me. So many of us deal with ableist propaganda used against us, and blokes with physical, mental, invisible, etc disabilities are usually ignored by society, but that doesn't mean we don't exist.

I see you, we all see you and hear you. We will never stop fighting for the rights of others and our own. Not until we are all treated equally and most of all, treated as human beings.

Although I have mental/mood disabilities, I am able-bodied, and so I always strive to learn about what I can do to help my disabled siblings. I will always be by your side, and I will always listen and continue my best to improve.

Hi I just wanted to say im obsessed with your iteration of the Macaque I've been thinking about him for so long. I love his passion for theatrics and acting and how it plays into his reflection/shadow thematics, with him playing the role of the "false mind" for Wukong. In all seriousness, it’s an honor. Spared!Macaque is my homage to the book, a reason to study it and the culture just enough to at least give some sense to my au.

He is so vastly different from the other demons we encounter in their journey because of his role as Sun Wukong’s darker counterpart. His goal was never to eat Tripitaka, it was to replace the king.

Allegorically it makes sense, as he is the embodiment of Sun Wukong’s violent nature, keeping him stuck in his ways.

Story wise, I had to ask ‘why’?

His motive is never explained, so I pieced together my own interpretation.

With the main mental question being: Who is he without Sun Wukong?

I'm going to breach my own code of ethics and post a personal opinion on the blog I've dedicated as a tribute blog for just a moment here, because I feel like it's relevant.

The fact of the CEO of Automattic / Tumblr quite literally harrasses transgender people and in fact stalked a transgender woman who he banned from this site (via following her to twitter to complain about her actions) is both appalling, and ... kind of expected.

This site has never had a great reputation for being a safe space for users, and even when it was mostly just the alphabet people hanging out on here, there was still a lot of bullying going on between users.

When tumblr folded within hours of being requested to take down Leelah Alcorn's blog, we should've known they don't really give a damn about us.

My problem is that if this site does end up truly going down, I will lose this archive of Leelah's blog. And maybe it's good to move on. But this tribute means so much to me. Leelah helped me confront what was really out there, and what lingered in my own home.

So, genuine question science, adult content, and Gravity Falls fandom sides of tumblr.

Ford obviously falls into the bi/pansexual monster fucker category- I feel seen - but wtf do you call his attraction specifically when it's a different dimensional being?

Spectrophilia/Phasmophilia is not exactly it, but kinda close, if we consider the fact Bill didn't have a 3D form until weirdmageddon, appears in mediation/sleep, and can be summoned like a demon or ghost. There's also the elements of Somnophilia and unintentional reverse incubi/succubi dynamics if you consider Bill's one sided attraction. And then there's Bill doing dangerous and questionable shit when he possess Ford and when they interact face to face that could fall under BDSM.

It's clearly a level 5 monster fucker situationship but is there a term for having attraction to a being from another dimension? And if not, can we call it alterum-dimensiophilia or alterum-universumphilia? Because that type of category needs to exist- Billford dynamic (stripping away the monster and yaoi/bl elements) is not the first but it's becoming more common in post 2010 media and I am struggling to explain the appeal without a proper definition or word that covers it.

Realized I never made my silly little post for this.

I am safe from the fires in the LA county area!

Thankfully, where I'm at, we've only got a handful of small ones that get put out before they get too large.

The winds are still intense and my area gets a lot of the drift smoke from other fires, but I am safe!

I won't get into the political stance on the fires like the Mayor cutting funding for the fire department, the insurance companies pulling their fire protection plans, or the reservoir that still hadn't been fixed, therefore making it so much harder to actually fight these fires. But there's a lot of shit hitting the fan.
