It's so wild to me that as a community we're still so hostile to multigender and genderfluid people existing in gay and lesbian spaces.

You...are aware that people who are both men and women are allowed to be gay, right? And lesbian? Their other genders doesn't cancel their connection to womanhood, or manhood, or whatever else they id with. They are allowed to be gay despite their fem-alignment, and they are allowed to be lesbian despite their masc-alignment.

It comes from these weird online spaces that the standard to be gay or lesbian is to be a "non-woman" or a "non-man," which is inherently transmultiphobic and...extremely ahistorical. And completely misunderstands nonbinary identity. So if you're both then you just don't belong anywhere I suppose.

HELLO! I’m making a massive list of EVERY single lgbtqia+ flag (and then posting them wherever I can put them)

This is mostly to spread more YO, THERE ARE SO MANY LABELS FOR YOU GUYS WHO WANNA USE THEM, and also cause I find it fun for character creation!

ik i've already posted those new fictosexual/fictoromantic flag redesigns on my stimblog @rocambolestim before, but ive introduced a new fictoromantic flag which isn't a colour swapped fictosexual flag!

these flags are meant to be more inclusive alternitaves to the original flags since they looked way too much like the asexual flag & not all fictos are ace, so i decided to change that in my redesigns + make it aesthetically pleasing since the older ones looked hideous asf imo

is it cool to use multigender as a label, but with the bigender flag (the one w the purple in the middle)? I find multigender an interesting label, but it's most popular flags just don't speak to me. The bigender one does on the other hand, is this fine?

hey yeah, that's totally fine! bigender is one of the most well known multigender identities, so a lot of people end up using that flag or even telling people they're bigender to make things easier. the thing with flags is you're free to pick and choose which ones you think fit you. many people are a certain identity and don't like the flags made for their community and that's totally okay! it's alright for you to fly the bigender flag in this scenario. also some people use bigender like bisexual to mean two or more genders, so it works out in the end!

you're not hurting anyone by doing so. also i love the bigender flag so i get it! hope that helps! take care!

Non binary-ish, and Maverique-ish

Non binary-ish - A term for for when someone's close to but not quite non binary. This can be for a variety of reasons, including being heavily aligned with a binary gender, having fluid gender and/or multiple gender and not viewing all of them as non binary, not identifying with typical understandings of what non binary means, having a "non traditional" relationship with non binaryness do to cultural reasons, questioning one's gender, any other experiences of near but not exact non binaryness and/or non binaryness with additional complexities to it.

Maverique-ish - A term for for when someone's close to but not quite maverique. This can be for a variety of reasons, including being demimaverique, having fluid gender and/or multiple gender that one views as inseparable from each other and maverique is a prominent one, questioning one's gender, any other experiences of near but not exact maverique and/or maverique with additional complexities to it.

Agender-ish, and Neutrois-ish, and Androgyne-ish

All have similar definitions to maverique-ish

Multigender-ish - A term for for when someone's close to but not quite multigender. Bigender-ish - A term for for when someone's close to but not quite bigender. This can be for a variety of reasons, including being almost entirely one gender but partly being another one, having multiple partial genders to add up to being close to but not quite two, having fluid or flux gender that is experience as both two and one gender, questioning one's gender, any other experiences of near but not exactly that of being bigender and/or bigender with additional complexities to it.

Genderfluid-ish - A term for for when someone's close to but not quite genderfluid. This can be for a variety of reasons, including one having the fluidity of one's gender(s) be very slow so it's often felt as static, having both fluid and static genders, one being unsure if their gender is fluid or flux, questioning one's gender, any other experiences of near but not exact non genderfluidity and/or non genderfluidity with additional complexities to it.
