I'm so mad that the one medication that keeps my endometriosis under control and keeps me from waking up in the middle of the night literally crying from pain, and also makes me only have my period every three months, also has made me gain like,,,,,20-30 lbs in the last year. Like. What a cruel tradeoff. This feels like one of those would you press the button challenges

#but like #it's such a pain in the ass because I'm still eating healthy and working out in a regular basis and haven't really changed my lifestyle #much in the last year #but #unfortunatly the medication literally just makes it harder for my body to gain muscle and easier to gain weight #like it attaches to the same ~receptors~ that take in the Build Muscle Burn Fat uhh.. chemicals in my body #and honestly like.......#I would love to go off the medication just to see how it affects my body. like just for ~fun~ if it wasn't for the fact that I would have to #go back to having a monthly period like a normal person 😭😭#it really is nice it's so nice #like I can take excruciating debilitating pain #I do not want to deal with Menstration Every Month #personal shite #weight mention tw

sometimes i randomly remember how insane maggie stiefvater was for making ronan lynch—a man that can create reality—a man of god, when he himself is a god of a man. then to take this man and have him be not only in love with, but a literal soulmate of a man named adam. parrish. adam parrish. who, mind you, lives above ronan's very own place of worship. and is the namesake of the first of mankind that the bible says god made from the literal dust of the ground (adam parrish: comes from nothing, hair "dusty" in color) and appoints him to care for the garden of eden (adam parrish: sacrifices himself to ronan's sentient forest). then has adam viewing ronan as a god and ronan saying "maybe he dreamt (created)" adam???? like who just fucking writes that and goes about their life?
