If our queer ancestors saw the amount of queer discourse there is online, fighting over labels and who’s valid and who isn’t, when nobody is getting hurt, they would be very disappointed.
I’m just saying.

Bi Spike/Bikesexual/Bikeromantic
Someone who identifies as Bi and for the most part, is attracted to men and women equally, but on some rare occasions, will have intense spikes of feeling sexually and/or romantically attracted to one gender more than the other.
(I know bi people aren’t just attracted to men and women, I’m just using them as umbrella terms for all masculine and feminine genders.)

Trying to dissect your attraction and why you choose to identify and use certain terms and labels that are inherently really complex (and often seen as completely contracting) is truly something else lmao
It's also a really beautiful work through imo. It's like learning things about yourself in a deeper way, especially when it comes to an identity that's always and sometimes rapidly even changing for someone and completely static and non-moving after finding a certain label to some. It's a lifelong thing after all.

"we need more weird queers!!"
you start parroting TERF talking points the milisecond someone says they are a lesboy or gaygirl
you cry when mspec lesbians/gays exist
you refuse to use neopronouns or it/its, even when those are a persons only set of pronouns
you expect a-specs to experience attraction in some way (yes, that includes platonic attraction)
you exclude intersex people
you can't even accept furries.

When will Gen Z stop feeling threatened by ftms for identifying with the lesbian community, calling themselves lesbians, calling themselves male lesbians, ftm lesbians, lesboys, etc. Go to a lesbian bar please.
Gender and sexuality is weird. Telling ftm lesbians to "identify as nonbinary" is weird. Some people just aren't nonbinary, they're ftm and lesbians. Who are you to tell someone how they experience their gender and sexuality?
Lots of people make the argument that "identifying as contradictory labels invalidates everyone." Other people's identities are not invalidating your own. Your validation doesn't depend on how other people who don't know you exist. There is no wrong way to identify or express your gender.

People will be like "you can be every gender at once, your gender can be a metaphor, gender binaries are fake, you can do whatever you want forever, and also you have to pick one (1) of the four acceptable sexualities approved of by the council"

people need to realize that dissolving the lines between gender also means dissolving the lines between sexuality. you cannot say gender is fake and then say sexuality is strict and rigid.
there are multigender/genderfluid people who are lesbians and gay men at the same time. there are mspec lesbians/gays/straights who have a complex relationship with gender and their sexuality. there are gay men who are women and lesbians who are men because male isn't the opposite of female.
"conflicting" labels are a part of many people's queer experience, because the human experience isnt simple enough to be put into neat perfect categories. if you truly support trans/genderqueer people, you need to accept the fact that gender and sexuality is complex and there will be people whose identities you don't understand

I’m gonna be completely honest, I don’t care if masculinity makes you uncomfortable. I don’t care if you don’t like that trans men take t and that makes you uncomfortable. I don’t care if you don’t like men talking about how much they love men because men make you uncomfortable. I don’t care if you don’t like that I mascs about their experiences because in your eyes they’re “privileged” for being masculine. I don’t care if “ugly” or “aggressive” looking masculine people make you uncomfortable. I don’t care if masculine people in queer spaces makes you uncomfortable. Masculine people have every right to be where they want and do what they want, even if it makes you uncomfortable. Because that is you problem. Masculine people will always be a part of the queer community and welcome in queer spaces, and if you have a problem with that then you can take it up with the bears and the butches.

say it with me, folks:
someone else's queer identity is not about you.
someone having an identity you don't like or agree with doesn't invalidate your own.
repeat.
