NEW KAIJU OC?!?!
Well, yea technically. Basically i was interested in figuring out how id go with making my own kaiju. At first i wasnt sure where to go for designing one. So i chose to base it off another existing kaiju for inspiration. I kinda wanted to go for a dragon type kaiju (i like dragons) and the only thing i could think of was Ghidorah so i went with that (now that i think about it more, I could’ve maybe used Manda too prob but oh well, Ghidorah was still a good option). I added some different details to mine that make it unique to the og Ghidorah
My idea was that it could potentially be a relative to Ghidorah (being of the same species) but still far apart from one another to the point they arent all that aware of the other existing (theyre in for a shock when & if they do encounter each other lol). This version actually relies on cosmic energy derived from such sources like stars & generally anything that produce some form of energy within the vast universe (basing it off how Ghidorah themselves originally came from space & this variant being much more dependent on that factor). It stores that energy & relatively stays in a dormant stage for an extended period of time until when faced with the challenge to defend itself or fight off those it deems as a danger. Then it would release all that ginormous amount of space energy that manifests itself as a rapidly expanding glow of extremely bright light. Enough to cause extreme damage & bring down the opposition. It can gather energy by using special crystals it can grow (took that also as inspiration but from Space Godzilla) & become as some form of attracting & absorbing the energy. In a way, the energy is like its main source of food & energy to maintain itself (right after releasing a lot of it during its final attack of using that glow, it would be put in a highly vulnerable state if not recovered by regaining some energy back soon enough). For the most part, they mostly sleep (being lazy 24/7 just like me fr lmao) to keep all that energy but can be potentially dangerous if disturbed or provoked in some manner

(Here’s a better closer look at their faces. Realized the canvas’ too big to properly see each of them-)
The name of this kaiju you may be wondering???
It’s Ryudorah
(Yea i know im the most creative person out there. I combined another nickname i use for myself and just added the end part of Ghidorah’s name to make it clear it’s related to the other kaiju. I couldn’t think of anything else im sorry😭)
And also each head has its own individual name:
Do, Re & Mi
(Named after intervals in the musical scale (ex: Do, Re, Mi, Fa, So, La, Ti, Do)
Did i mention this kaiju can also technically sing too :)
I did have a lot of fun with coming up with the concept for them (tho it honestly took longer in designing them due to a busy schedule ive been put in as of late & finding the time to finish it) but im glad to finally be able to share this with you all. Hopefully I can share more about them soon (i have a whole google doc’s worth of lore lmao) & probably draw them again (tho maybe a lot more simplified by then). Didn’t wanna overwhelm ppl with the huge amount of info so I’ll prob slowly reveal more over time.
[Another thing too is that i still am new to the fandom (tho with more knowledge from getting to learn more from the source material) & most of this i gathered from already know stuff i knew. Tho im also open to feedback & maybe some ideas to add onto my own kaiju. So id very much appreciate it if there’s any suggestions from you guys ^^⭐️]
(I’ll only be taking constructive criticism btw. Anything hateful will obv be ignored)

Was listening to some music and started having thoughts on a Kaiju no. 8 wing au.
Most certainly all the humanoid kaiju also having wings. Big Red/no10 just would be a whole-ass dragon. Also bat wings for no9 for more fingers. And also no8 having the same kind of dragonfly wings as the larva that crawled into Kafka but like more goth.
Ichikawa and Shinomiya both still have their juvenile flight feathers when they join the Defence Force.
Also social preening.
---
Specifically thinking about putting more emphasis on hitting a wall and physical inability to do something even tho a mfer tries their damnedest. Idk I just don't vibe with how the series portrays Kafka's physicality outside of his kaiju form especially with it taking multiple potshots at his body type.
---
So like, wing au. Kafka has big broad powerful wings but he's bulky, has lots of muscle and enough fat that it gets poked fun at by his coworkers, and is not great at losing excess weight. He's darn strong, around average in most other physical stats, but his speed and stamina aren't great especially when flying.
Unfortunately, for this au, the Defense Force has a minimum flight speed requirement to pass their entrance exam. It can be waved if said slow flier has extraordinary scores in their other stats. (I'd picture just given their size Director General Shinomiya and whatever the fucking name of that tall ass motherfucker that is the vice-captain of the first division being not-so-great fliers given their size but excellent stats otherwise and thus passed)
Kafka spent 2 yrs straight trying to get into the Defense Force and failing for different reasons b4 he aged out pre-story. Most of his failures being in the physical assessment portion from not being fast enough or the rest of his stats suffering during attempts at meeting certain weight goals to improve his speed. Some of his failings came from the practical assessment with the supersuits and getting automatic fails at his 0% reading for multiple years (like we know he's taken the test b4 so why is shit acting like he's never had an opportunity to wear them b4?).

Breakdown: Deathsaurus
HELLO THANK YOU FOR ASKING ME ABOUT MY WIFE.
How I feel about this character: He's one of my favorite Transformers actually. I love his cheeky attitude in Victory, his protection of his people and his human son Solon (and his fear of caterpillars for some reason) in the Victory manga, and his strong leadership and advocacy for his troops in MTMTE.
All the people I ship romantically with this character: Esmeral, of course. I'd love to see more people talk about her and her dynamics, both as an individual character and alongside Deathsaurus. I do think that the slight homoerotic beef going on between him and Star Saber is funny tho.
My non-romantic OTP for this character: Star Saber. Their rivalry is extensive, beginning before the war. In my AU, Star Saber was the head of the Elite Guard during Sentinel's primacy. Sentinel was an avid hunter, and he was not shy about it either. He ended up crossing a major line when he decided to bring the guard with him to Kalis on a hunting mission. It had always been an aspiration of his to kill a Predacon and add the beast to his trophy case. Star Saber did question the importance of it, to which Sentinel reassured him that it was well worth their time as Predacons are considered a dangerous species that poses a major threat to Cybertronian lives. It was at this time that Deathsaurus was the new young leader of his tribe. They ended up slaughtering most of Deathsaurus's tribe mercilessly, and ever since Deathsaurus hated anyone from the guard. Once Sentinel was dead, his hatred turned to Star Saber, who had enlisted in the Autobot ranks and became on of the Prime's generals. Deathsaurus's grudge turned personal when Star Saber imprisoned his fortress in the Dark Nebula. He didn't know it until much later, but Star Saber had just stranded over half of Deathsaurus's forces, including his wife, taking the only family he had left. To him, Star Saber had taken everything he'd held dear once again, and he was determined to make him pay for all the destruction and misery he brought.
My unpopular opinion about this character: He should be recognized as part of the Predacon species, like the ones in TFP. His alt mode is a Kaiju, which is a big monster not specifically like a dragon, but there are types that are very dragon-like. I want there to be Predacon tribes on Cybertron that persisted after the Great Cataclysm, and for them to have their own cultures. Because of his striking similarity to Onyx Prime, I'd like to think his tribe was the remains of Onyx's empire in Kalis, which is now mostly uninhabited by Cybertronians due to it being considered too dangerous. There's a larger population of Predacons there, and the lack of Cybertronian civilization had the city nicknamed the City of the Dead. I think it's fitting for Deathsaurus since he was from a place called the Death Zone in Victory. I have more thoughts on Esmeral's tribe as well, so feel free to let me know if you're curious.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: His wife wasn't in the Victory cartoon, nor was she in the MTMTE comic. Esmeral needs more love, and an updated design. I would also like to see more backstory with the rivalry between Star Saber and Deathsaurus. According to Ask Vector Prime, they have known each other since childhood and have always had beef. Their parents knew each other, and I would like to see someone take the ideas of Terrorsaurer and Galaxy Saber (their respective parents) and make some canon or fanon media around them. I also wanted some more collaborative shenanigans between Deathsaurus, Tarn, and Overlord. People make such funny interpretations of their reluctant alliance that I really want to see it now.
Ask me more about my blorbos!

The Things I Like About Ultraman 80
Still on the occasion of Ultraman 80's 44th anniversary, here are the things I like about the series.
Tumblr media
1. 80s fighting style - quick, agile, and acrobatic.
2. 80 was never defeated in his own series. There were a couple of times he almost lost, most notably in the penultimate episode where he fought the two brother kaijus Plazma and Minazma.
His "defeat" by mother-and-child Zandrias doesn't count. He pretended to lose so that the son would be convinced to go home with his mother. So to those who think that 80 is a weak Ultraman should think otherwise (I defended 80 on TikTok against some comments who said he is the weakest Ultraman 😭)
3. As 80 was undefeated or didn't die, he was never crucified, impaled, or turned into a metal or stone.
Unlike other Ultras, 80 needed help only once, and it's from the Father of Ultra.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
4. The coolest and most realistic-looking fighter jets for me - the Sky Higher, the Silver Gull, and the Space Mammy - they don't look like toys. Even the base, the hangar, the runway, with the control towers and all that, they also look realistic, even 44 years after. It's even better than the CG effects today. It makes you think that UGM was a real organization!
5. The coolest Ultraman henshin for me - Yamato throwing his fists before raising his Bright Stick and shouting, "80!".
6. The coolest opening and end themes (at least the first ones).
7. My most favorite "wandaba", even though it is pretty similar to TAC wandaba.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
8. The school setting in the first few episodes, and the Ultraman being a teacher. That setting was discontinued, unfortunately, due to several reasons. The series should have stuck to its guns. Even so, there were still the presence of kids throughout the series.
Unlike other Ultraman human hosts who are usually cool, suave, etc. that befits the hero type, Takeshi Yamato is often clumsy and absent-minded. And oh, he often runs late for class 😂 But that makes him very charming and relatable.
Tumblr media
9. First female Ultra other than the Mother of Ultra: Yullian.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
10. UGM finally managed to defeat a kaiju on their own without 80's involvement.
11. The most handsome captain (other than Captain Dan Moroboshi), Captain Ooyama. 😍
12. I realized that Ultraman 80 series has the most beautiful women, whether they were cast regulars/semi-regulars or guest actresses.
13. 80 fought Ultraseven... Delusion Ultraseven that is 😂
14. The most beautiful soundtrack of all the Ultraman soundtracks I've listened to. Even though composer Toru Fuyuki did great music for the previous Ultraman series, he outdid himself this time in Ultraman 80.
Tumblr media
15. The series has many of the coolest- and most badass-looking kaijus from the Showa era - Crescent, Argon, Noiseler, Guwaganda, Fire-Draco, Plazma and Minazma, Margodon, etc. Those Minus Energy monsters. Only Hoe and Jihibikiran look funny to me, tho. Hoe reappeared in Ultraman Mebius.
16. Probably influenced by women's lib at the time, 80 is the first Ultraman series to empower girls and women, making it the most progressive compared to the other Showa-era Ultraman series.
If you think I missed something or if there are errors, let me know! ☺️

What's your favourite evil literary trope and favourite good literary trope, and if they battled which would win?
YOOOO. Yo. Yo. I’m already so excited to answer this, this is such a good question, even though I’m not …100% sure what this means. If I misconstrue what you’re saying or something I mention doesn’t qualify or you wanna hear about…idk, second favorites, you can totally ask again. I love talking about. Media. oughhh…hmmmm…oh, I’m gonna go on a while aren’t I? Sorry in advance.
Okay, like, any trope that occurs in books? Most of my favorite tropes are the same across any medium. Does like, a character trope work? Like an archetype? Bc I do have a lot of favorite archetypes if they count. They’re usually my favorite kinds of tropes and easier to label as good or evil.
My favorite type of evil character is probably the good ol’ mad scientist. I’m SUCH a sucker for them. Anyone who knows me will tell you.
As for good, heroic character…hm…is strong woman a trope? Like lady knights, buff ladies, the one woman in the military squad that does not get Love Interest-Ed and probably dies….I think it’s kinda a trope, a rarer one, but it’s there.
In a fight, it’s probably easier to guess who’ll win since they’re characters but it still depends to me. If we’re allowed weapons, prep time, etc. etc…mad scientist is probably winning. They tends to have more plot armor too, while strong ladies Usually aren’t the protagonists but more dispensable side characters. Sudden fist fight tho? Idk if it matters what kind of strong warrior lady we go with, mad scientists are so regularly portrayed as having the constitution of a paper bag. I love both tropes sm tho, when a mad scientist is good, when a buff lady is evil, when they meet, when they don’t, when they’re enemies, when they’re friends, when they working for each other, when they’re kissinWho said that
Now, if we mean ANYTHING BUT character tropes uhh. Well thankfully I’ve been watching a lot of Overly Sarcastic Productions, I got some fresh in my mind.
okay…so like…a good plot trope and a evil plot trope? Mmm that’s harder, uh.
Ooo can I say when the bad guy gets a redemption? Power of friendship style? It’s probably a good trope. I love it sm, idc how cheesy it can get. As long as it’s slapdash and not just so the hero can make out sloppy style with the villain in good conscious, I always get incredibly soft about it. If its the hero winning them over with friendship, if they’re just genuinely working for good now to suit their own selfish means, if it’s just the villain realizing “oh…I have Not been as good as I thought.”, if they just get bound by some dare or curse to work for good now, etc. it’s always so fun to me.
As far as evil? It’s harder for me to think of an evil plot trope. I’m tempted say like, the plot twist where a main character was the evil one all along? But I specifically love the ones where THAT CHARACTER did not know it until the twist, due to amnesia or brainwashing or they were a sleeper agent. It IS evil but is it a trope? And also it’s like, a gateway into “redemption of a bad character” but AGAIN. How about “the horrors were manmade all along”? You see some scary monster or some eldtrich god or kaiju or malfunctioning robot overlord and wonder how this happened, and it’s eventually revealed that like “oh. Some scientist had a lot of hubris. Some military group wanted a better weapon. Just some rich guy was curious. Behind the monster was a Frankenstein.”. Pretty good stuff imo. And I think it qualifies as evil. The horror is usually malicious and the creator is usually evil or at least misguided in some definition. Man I’m a sucker for a hubristic downfall…probably why I love mad scientists sm. Or vise versa.
Now, in a fight? I think “the horrors were manmade, humanity destroyed itself, the downfall of your hubris” is absolutely Destroying “bad guy become good guy [brought to you by friendship <3]”. The horrors May be able to be converted but like. Fat chance.
Thank you for coming to my TEDtalk, IM SORRY I WENT ON SO LONG
I kept getting caught between ‘fanfic tag’ tropes (e.g. hurt/comfort, slow burn, fixit, only one bed, major character death, sickfic, etc.) and ‘that’s just whole genre of story’ tropes (e.g. noir detective, military group realizes they’ve been deceived and fighting for evil all along, uprising against big evil corporation, mundane boring guy doing mundane boring job is also an assassin, etc.) so I tried to keep it firmly in the middle, trying to think of normal book tropes. I’m hoping that’s what you meant? But if not, you can ask me again! I want to answer properly and I’ll happily go on again!…actually kinda hoping I got it wrong bc I disqualified so many tropes I adore while writing this, I’d love to rant about them XD maybe keep it more concise on any “next time”s though.
Thank you SM for such a good question! And if you or anyone else has their own they’d like to share, I’d be happy to listen :3c|

Knack x Godzilla.
Considering Knack can grow to the size of a small/average kaiju, maybe bigger if he has enough relics, the crossover would be interesting. And imagine if he's actually a type of kaiju himself, natural or artificial. There's entire relic temples, and I wouldn't doubt relic golems like him might've been worshipped like the kaiju in this context. And he's basically indestructible, given his relics aren't damaged or destroyed he can just reform any that get knocked out, like in the second game. Would definitely give Goji Ghidora flashbacks with the sunstone powers tho. Or remind him of his moth wife and he starts crying. Knack would probably get alone better with Kong though; they bond over their human companions. Also I can most definitely see the relics actually originating from inner earth.
I won't lie that I read this and thought of the 'I miss my wife' meme but it's Godzilla saying to it Knack. Also the Doctor would absolutely make a kaiju on sheer accident. Lol
Both universes do seem like they fit together quite well but I bet Knack's eventual reveal to the world had Monarch knock on the Doc's door very quickly. Study ancient ruins is a given for the organization considering a good lot depicts or worships Titan. Monarch has theories that Knack's form could be mimicking an one. Bets are either on an undocumented species or Great Ape.
They were definitely surprised by his intelligence as our boy is one very smart cookie. Or a chill mischievous fellow who definitely pranked some poor agents with his size manipulation. Getting Knack to dance is easier than Kong.
Speaking of the big K, they definitely been introduced. It took offering the chance to meet a Titan for them to agree. Jia and Lucas definitely bond over having nonhuman sibling figures. Kong did stare at Knack in obvious confusion. Add surprise to the list when the tiny 2' ft fellow bulked up to 32' boi.
He definitely isn't gonna reach Kong's size(337 ft) without giant relics but Monarch can now check off 'be mistaken for a Mini Great Ape' on their theory list. Knack's nickname from our alpha ape is 'Tiny' much to his embarrassment however the two get along very well. Monarch probably has a stash of giant relics for him to borrow so he can either team up or spar with Kong in a kaiju clash.
Speaking of Godzilla, he definitely senses Knack during a casual swim. The golem was training his abilities near a Monarch facility at the time. Godzilla witnessed Knack using his Super Moves(specifically Blast) and unconsciously thought about Mothra(man's still mourning).
Cue one 393 ft giant lizard plucking a 32 ft golem off the ground alongside a shit ton of people just panicking. Knack was so confused at Godzilla's sudden friendly behavior before someone joked about the titan mistaking him for a whelp and missing his moth wife. He's practically dying inside from embarrassment as it sounds about right.
Godzilla tends to show up unannounced if he senses Knack nearby. Like an oversized curious cat that prods at their new(reluctant) kitten. Monarch and the Doctor just document everything as a mellow Godzilla is a rare sight.
Knack deals with it even though he had to get used to being called a 'Pup' by a thermonuclear lizard in kaiju.

Ultraman Blazar Design Review + Predictions
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ye so I decided to upload this last to build up the context of what Blazar seems to be all about, which heavily ties in to his design
I'll also be summing up all the findings from the other sources to fortify my theory on what Blazar is
So as pointed out in my commentaries, Blazar's design gimmick is very reminiscent to Next's and Nexus' that being of an incomplete body
Like Next's we can observe striations, grey protrusions and the red/blue lines, reminiscent of muscle fibers, bones and blood vessels respectively
In addition, his primitive behavior is very reminiscent of a juvenile (anphans? Lol)
In the official plot synopsis, we can now confirm that Blazar does indeed hail from a blazar
From the catalog leaks, we see that Blazar dosent actually have another form up till at least September
-
All this basically points to Blazar being at the very least, being able to evolve over time, just like Nexus
I think that is at least quite obvious by this point
But the real question is, is Blazar the birth of a potentially new Legendary Ultra? Or like Noa, was he devolved after an event?
All we know about anything concrete about this is that Blazar came from a Blazar, a very peculiar origin in and of itself since we know that Noa and King was birthed from a supernova
But they might all be the same origin as supernovas sometimes result in a black hole, which a type of it is known as a Blazar
So this again, solidly at least points to Blazar being potentially a Legendary Ultra existence
Moving onto the next point of what will the series be about? Because this actually ties in with Blazar's character settings.
Because if Blazar is indeed just really a juvenile Legendary Ultra that was born decades ago, the series would function well as simply an episodic series with Blazar gaining new forms as he actually grows
But if Blazar is in a devolved state, there has to be a main antagonist here, just like Dark Zagi, which seeks to continue and end the conflict he had with Noa.
The second possibility immediately brings to mind Dark Lucifer, which I'm sure most hardcore fans know about, he was scrapped twice but was canon in the Nexus novel as another Dark Giant created by Dark Zagi and was meant to also be featured in Saga
Considering that Dark Lucifer was a chimera of the other Dark Giants, including Zagi himself, I suspect that the final villain would probably follow the same idea
Especially the fact that there's so many new kaijus featured in this series, another chimera like Ismael would be viable possibility too
However from the plot synopsis, there isn't any indication of any "bigger bad" hiding behind the scenes thus far, so either Blazar is really just gonna be an episodic series (less-exciting possibility) or we will start to see the antagonist starting from the midway through (more-exciting possibility). Unless it's like X where said antagonist literally shows up in the last 2 episodes.
Tho one could easily explain midway through the series, that all the monster attacks were provoked by "someone" as it turns out
But since we are talking about a potential Legendary Ultra, I can honestly expect for Blazar to gain his actual completed form in his movie. And perhaps the series would end off with Blazar and the antagonist postponing their fight till the movie?
Also another interesting point to note is that every era has Legendary Ultras corresponding to it, with King in Showa, Legend and Noa in Heisei with New Gen/Reiwa having none thus far (not counting the original fusion of Ginga and Dark Lugiel)
Blazar thus far seems to be a very curious series, definitely excited to see where all this goes, especially with Taguchi taking the reins

Agree with you on the side villains. Dorama had a fun gimmick but I hope we're done with him. I like the Rapton betrayal, I think it's set up well and is in character. I think all the Claws of Imperium have a strange visual design tho -- why are the foot soldiers of the empire of uniformity than believes in human supremacy in outfits that make them look like insect robots? Cinder exists. I'm most interested by Jordana because it's unclear what they'll do with her or what her goals are now that she's left Imperium and Ras.
I think the Sora arc hits hard not just because she's left her old "support" system but because she stands up to it. When she was a kid she just ran away (perfectly understandable for a kid, or anyone really) but it's very cathartic to have her take down the system and stand up to a society that shunned her. I think the responsibility thing is very much part of her arc -- it's the theme of the Euphrasia/Cloud Kingdom episode and she outright says she's learned she has a responsibility to use her powers in the S1P1 finale. Then she uses that in P2 to take down Imperium. It's only over the course of S1 that she gained a new support system that validates her so she can not just reject Imperium but assert her own value.
Totally see how the arc kinda falls into a similar pitfall as the original show's "female character learning confidence" arcs even if I think that it's way better here since Nya's arcs in S5, 11, and 15 all came after years of her being capable and confident. Sora's S2 story is very different and I think better because of the S1 story. Her increase in confidence and optimism parallels Arin's loss of confidence and optimism as well.
I agree on the mixed messaging of the Lloyd arc. My view on Lloyd angst is that it helps make the lighthearted Lloyd stuff stronger. I enjoy him being a silly guy in S11-14 because we got to see him at his lowest point in S8-S9. That balance is important.
Arin just goes through it, and I think that the real tipping point for him was learning that Wu caused the Merge and that the other Ninja basically don't care. The Sora lie just drives a wedge between the two personally since Arin is having his own self-confidence issues.
Obviously these are our central, main character stories but I also really like the smaller character interactions and Wyldfyre in general. I get that this stuff probably means less if the main stuff isn't clicking.
We'll have to see what happens w/ the merge story. If Ras and Arin are together for a prolonged period of time in S3 and we still get no answers then that's a problem. We could go in circles forever on this though.
I feel like we kinda did get a strong focus on Imperium tho -- E6-10 and E18-20 were all set in Imperium (8 22-minute episodes, just like 4 of the original seasons). Maybe it was just the expectation game. Big Hunger Games fan here.
I do wonder if there's a Ship of Theseus type thing here -- by now, the original writers are long gone, along with the original creators, the main characters are changing, the animation is different (and certainly more vibrant). And I think some of the planks of the original show had rotted, or were maybe always rotten and needed to be switched. But at some point maybe the show is too different? Or whatever plank made it special for you is now gone? I mean, I really like Dragons Rising, and if they maintain the things I like, I'll keep watching. But whenever it ends and we move to a new show or whatever happens, I probably will stop watching. I nearly did after Crystalized, and I wasn't even one of the people who thought it was the worst entry in the franchise (still bad though). I don't like the idea that's it's just part of growing older but maybe it is?
Maybe S3 will open with PIXAL returning and doing what the Ninja couldn't do, Kaiju Protocol-style, and resolve all the running mysteries in an episode.
Okay, everyone get in the comments and let me know why you love dragons rising so that maybe I can reverse engineer why I don't-

Pokemon in Crossthicc - Overview
Pokemon and its relevant stuff in Crossthicc! This is gonna be a long one, requiring several posts, so bear with me on this one.
First off, some thoughts on the character line ups. Most of the canon Pokemon trainers, professors, gym leaders and other characters are either associated with the Endowed Fleet, or living within their territories without actually being IN the Fleet. Trainer like Misty, May and other important characters are probably Endowed, as are the Gym Leaders, professors and other ladies like Wicke, Lenora and so forth. They’re a kind of mixture of MILFy heroines and summoner-type magic users. Most professors are researchers into giant monsters and magic in general, with Pokemon being tied into both, and Gym Leaders (including all related jobs from the games/anime series, such as breeders, Alolan captains and Kahunas) tend to be independant adventurers and treasure hunters.
In general, the more heroic Pokemon characters, and Pokemon of every species, are part of the Endowed Fleet and main cast, with the most prominent among them being Wicke, gym leader-types like Lenora and Olivia, and the most prominent trainer characters like Misty. Most of them, especially characters and Pokemon tied to previous generations, were originally a part of the Smash Fleet prior to it merging with the Endowed Fleet.
Lusamine and a good portion of the Aether Foundation form the scientific backbone of the Cobalt Stingers. Lusamine is one of Vriska’s top people, and has a great deal to do with the way their mod development process works, both their refinement into highly expensive products with many benefits, and her habit of testing them on random groupie serfs.
Popular trainer classes (such as Hex Maniac) are individual characters here! That said, the core idea of those trainer classes are present in the form of common roles the trainers may use or adopt as they grow; they likely use different names, if they even have specific terms for, say, someone who uses the powers granted by Pokemon partners into disciplined raw power (Black Belts).
Most of the criminal Teams are still their own thing; defeated in past exploits, but largely still around. A few exceptions: Team Skull is a major part of the Fleet, and a lot of their iconography is popular in the fleet’s outfit styles. (Bonehead is a common term for scavenger units, in reference to Team Skull and the scav’s own stubbornness.) Team Rocket is a powerful criminal empire that initially started as a part of the Imperial Commonwealth but is growing into its own force, and Team Aqua is also a part of the Stingers. Other Teams are still present as their own thing, but either greatly reduced, in hiding, or just a total mystery.
Now, the Pokemon themselves. Unlike canon, Pokemon and the human characters are not from a specific world at all, but a multiversal phenomenon; Pokemon materialize from all over the place, and I DO mean materialize in a very literal sense. Trainers and all people who work with Pokemon in canon are translated into occupations that fit into the setting of Crossthicc, akin to summoners. Pokemon are a good deal weirder here and a lot more mystical in nature.
Pokemon, here, are not really animal-like beings, nor are they simply races of monstrous sapient beings with powerful abilities. They are explicitly animistic personifications of broad elemental concepts that make up the universe, taking on forms and concepts that are relevant to them, and when they are born into the material world, they must take on the weakest forms that can express their nature; the baby or initial evolutionary stages from canon. Consider them as being like spirits, or even summons, and would make excellent summons for the setting as a whole. It’s a bit of a shortcut for Pokemon, as otherwise they must grow in experience, calling down more and more power from a raw font of their essence from beyond, and as they power up, they develop into more complex and powerful shapes. In short, they evolve! And they MUST bond with a mortal soul to do this, to grow; they can’t really do it on their own, and rely on the experiences of others to expand their horizons.
Legendary Pokemon are explicitly gods here; not like gods, not so powerful they might as well be gods, but they are actively worshiped across the multiverse, empowering clerics and paladins, and once materialized in avatars that carried only a small portion of their powers but were nonetheless shockingly mighty. When they arise, the multiverse quakes, and that is only with a tiny fraction of their potential.
Pokemon can breed, though there is a difference between them spontaneously emerging in the ether, being summoned into being, or being born via pregnancy and eggs. In particular,  the former are initially more powerful and akin to ‘wild’ Pokemon; they’re much more reliant on mortal viewpoints to grow, and tend to prefer their more monstrous, elemental forms. They can be kind of weird, in the fashion of angels that are SO good that they’re a little alien. Pokemon born in eggs or through mortal pregnancies, are more in tune with mortal viewpoints, but have a harder time expressing their powers. They invariably treat their monster girl/boy forms as their default, and revert to it in times of stress, having some trouble shifting outside it. These are most akin to ‘trained’ Pokemon from canon, and are the most common.
And as per this AU’s theme, they are VERY big, ranging from kaiju-sized when they’re really trying, and even at smaller sizes Pokemon that are canonically small are nonetheless large enough to ride. And they can transform into humanoid monster girl/boy forms, which follow the usual rules of thiccness power in this AU. Powerful Pokemon are often extremely giant-y, and VERY curvy!
They are fully intelligent, sapient beings, and should generally be written as being almost angelic, wise entities with a bit of a wild edge. They’re very empathic, receptive to feelings from those they bond with, and Pokemon training is a friendship experience for them; if a Pokemon challenges you, it wants to go with you if you’re strong enough. The partnership goes both ways; as Pokemon grow strong, the trainer becomes more powerful, and a strong enough bond even allows one to fuse with the other, merging into a more powerful being that embodies their friendship. Across many worlds, before the cataclysm, across all species, Pokemon would teach mortals and be taught in return, both growing and continuously evolving.
At least, that’s how it used to be. But the corruption broke all Pokemon.
During the cataclysm, the magical catastrophes and shockwaves of so much death terrorized all things sensitive to such currents, driving many spirits into demonhood from sheer trauma. Negative emotions overwhelmed many magical beings, causing them to go berserk or become overwhelmed by invading forces welling out of the magical realms, adding to the death tolls. The Pokemon were especially badly hit, their minds dissolving and their powers going completely out of control, growing to massive size and becoming monstrous caricatures of their former selves. The Legendaries, the gods who derived from Pokemon, have been unable to soothe them until recent times, and even the Legendaries themselves, at least those most closely tied to the mortal planes and embodying mortal concepts, had their mortal vessels driven berserk as well.
If you’ve played Pokemon Colosseum and its sequel and recognize Shadow Pokemon here, it's very similar! But imagine that… mixed with Shin Godzilla, the apocalyptic rampage induced by traumatized horror and unending pain, and you can appreciate the scale of the horrors going on here.
The Pokemon are lost. Corrupted, driven totally feral by fear and the lingering deaths of untold trillions of souls, dying over and over again in their minds, and all this pain DESTROYS that Pokemon. The pain floods them, and all they can do is lash out, their natures becoming wild and knowing nothing but pain and fear. And in this, they have lost control of their bodies, weaponizing it purely in their most destructive force in a desperate attempt at self-defense.
Nonetheless. Even in this state, their longing to touch a mortal soul and find true friends, to create bonds across species and share their power with others remains still. To become more than what they are. Mortal hearts can touch them, remind them who they really are… and free them.
A dedicated human partner (a trainer) can bond with them, gentling their hearts and banishing the horrors they have witnessed and done, until the Pokemon gradually reverts to its true form, mind fully restored. Pokemon characters who work with Pokemon in canon are, in the AU, all particularly skilled at this and even specialize in it, but owing to the nature of Pokemon here, are more akin to summoners and spiritual mediums than monster trainers or researchers. Assume that any younger characters born into the Fleet and raised among its customs are at least familiar with what you have to do, so they can all at least calm down a feral Pokemon. Bringing back the Pokemon is a priority among the fleet, as is finding a way to bring back all the Legendary gods, who are presently lost within the magical realms and dominating vast swathes of it, their presence distorting the physical realm and causing horrific disasters. Journeying to save them from themselves and reconnect them with their godhead sources in the outer planes is a quest of epic proportions, and of dire importance. Legendaries embody the fundamental forces of existence, and are some of the most important gods remaining. They MUST be helped.
Corrupted Pokemon are analogous to Wild Pokemon from the games, mixed with pitable but highly destructive kaiju. Pokemon naturally born into the mortal realms, or those who have bonded with summoners enough to be moderated by their perspectives and freed of corruption, are akin to Trained Pokemon from canon.
Some general clarification:
There is no single Pokemon world or setting. Instead, Pokemon are native to all worlds and used to randomly show up in places that resonated with them or called them. Those born in the mortal realms tend to form their own societies here and there, while the most powerful ones from the spirit realms are most often summoned and that the two are really the same was not common knowledge. All Pokemon, but for a few, are still corrupted; the few born in recent times are not, but all others, including the Legendaries, must be helped. The canonical trainers, Gym leaders, professors and other human characters are, if still human, descended from Earth nationalities that correspond to the real life inspirations for their respective regions. Follow up posts will assume that they are human, but alternative ideas for them are VERY welcome!
Wild Pokemon are effectively all corrupted and totally feral, in the vein of Shadow Pokemon. They are broken and in pain, randomly lashing out and exploding in destructive fits. They are EXTREMELY large, many hundreds of feet tall and horrific to behold, elemental forces incarnate. With their sheer power, subduing them by force is an extremely poor idea.
Once freed from corruption, Pokemon can assume forms similar to their canon appearances and use their abilities freely, and these are explicitly magical in nature. They are, in fact, divine, as Pokemon are essentially mortal incarnations of certain principles of reality. They can also merge with people they are especially close to, granting them use of their powers, and monsterize that person with more of the Pokemon’s characteristics and giving them more power, though the person tends to become more wild. Once restored to their true selves, Pokemon follow the ‘totally sapient and probably smarter than humans’ interpretation of canon, and are equal members of the fleet or whatever organizations around ‘em. They might also fulfill the role of all purpose magical entities, or summon spirits; assume that purified ancient Pokemon fall into the latter category, and the monster girl versions must work to tap into their ancestral power and call it down, so they are also summoners in a way.
Pokemon here are FAR larger than in canon; they’re scaled up to giants, and can sizeshift freely to act as steeds, guardians or whatnot; Ash’s Pikachu, for example, is large enough for him to ride it into battle while also punching things. Assume that any given Pokemon can be as large as they feel like… within reason. While Pokemon are absurdly powerful, they do have individual limits and they’re often rather restricted in what they CAN do; they require experience to draw more of their power into their material forms.
Pokemon can also transform into two ways; they can morph into bipedal anthropomorphic monster girls (that tend to be extremely thicc, in proportion to their powers), or they can willingly transform into gigantic kaijus similar to their corrupted forms, but fully controlled; guardian monsters. These tend to be pretty dang monstrous and very elemental in nature. Pokemon born into the mortal realms, as mentioned earlier, tend to treat monster people forms as their baseline, while the Pokemon from the spiritual realms tend to prefer a kaiju-like form; those who have a strong enough bond with summoners may compromise with a giantess form, and something similar would apply to natural-born Pokemon..
Pokemon shifted into anthro form are scaled to an appropriate size: a Pikachu or Bidoof girl is going to be on the smaller size (perhaps 15 feet or so), while a Nidoqueen MILF is going to tower at at least fifty feet. The ones infamous for being big, like Wailord, will be FAR larger giantesses, on par with giantess-scaled aircraft. They otherwise have the same thiccness ratio as others; more powerful Pokemon are larger than normal and grow indefinitely, and are hyper curvaceous to suit their power levels. They can, as any other being, mod themselves up and even develop mutations appropriate for them.
All Pokemon species, save Legendaries, are represented within the Fleet, Stingers, and other factions that suit them. They provide an excellent source of powers, appearance mods, and traits from Pokemon are extremely common mutations on all people within the fleet. Natural-born Pokemon are also likely to be random populations, though are so divorced from their origins that they are likely to be very weak and indistinguishable from ordinary beastfolk; rediscovering their true heritage is a big moment for them. “Don’t you know what you ARE?”

I’m trying to draw up a design for the Phoenixfire (bc I like big robot) and hoo boy the amount of notes on this sketch,,, catch me out here overthinking everything in a drawing as per usual LMAO
So far I’ve got a more aerodynamic design than literally any other jaeger, like you’d think they would make them better at moving in water seeing as every kaiju comes out of the ocean, a “helmet” structure of armour around the cockpit that is shaped to deflect any kaiju claws from hitting the more fragile front area and protect against bites, and “gills” on the sides that close when it detects smoke or water so that when the jaeger can ventilate surrounding air most of the time and only use the onboard air recycler when necessary
What sort of weapons should it have? I’ve already got flamethrower + curved knife for Ace and more talon like bladed feet for Marco, but I’m trying to decide if it should actually have a whole ass metal pipe lookin bludgeoning tool for Sabo or if he just fistfights the kaiju bc technically the jaeger’s arms could be considered very large metal pipes lmfao
I love this, bc the pilot can request the weapon and I like to think theres four main weapon types for all of theses beautiful men to share
Phoenixfire is the first Mark 4 to have a “wing” frame (honestly think gundam/think code geass knightmares), mostly a coolant exhaust system for the nuclear cores but also for counterbalance because Phoenixfire has alot of long extending weaponry
Marco’s request was mainly reinforced leg structure but he won’t say no to having retractable talons on the feet tho, retractable for walking purposes, the wing frame flares out to counterbalance the crazy kicks he likes to execute (sue him he enjoys kickboxing)
Ace’s request is similar to Gipsy Danger’s rocket elbows, which are only installed so Danger can punch harder 😂 I can see Ace having the same reasoning for this request to be installed, the palms do have vents that release highly pressurised scalding steam/water vapour, so maybe not exactly a flamethrower but superheated themed anyway? And absolutely would burn a coldblooded giant lizard, Also useful for shoving away from kaijus that got too close (ironman palms lol)
Sabo would probably request a whip staff — my own headcanon is its a chainlink whip that can be unravelled from a thigh compartment or a shoulder blade compartment and can be uses as a whip or rigidly aligned into a long sturdy staff weapon and that is Sabo’s preferred choice
Their fourth weapon could be the curved blade, emergency dagger for close encounters that requires finesse — aka fighting in closed spaces and stuff, this would be the best option
Crimson Typhoon had three arms and three brother pilots (F in the chat for crimson typhoon who went down too quick) i dont think Phoenixfire has three arms instead Marco is the middleman in a sense, Ace takes left hemisphere, Sabo takes right hemisphere and Marco mostly controls the lowerbody to give Sabo and Ace the mental capacity to pilot the torso together 👍🏽

Any advice for someone who wants to write a micro?
*LOOKS AT U WITH SUCH GLEEFUL, MANIC INTENSITY THAT U DISINTEGRATE INTO SAND*
*builds u into a cute little sandcastle*   YES ABSOLUTELY
okay so the best advice i can give is to lean way into the ways in which they differ from conventional nations / representatives.  take the time to really think about the ways their experiences and perspectives are different, just because of what they are, and how they exist.  imo that’s one of the biggest appeals to playing one, getting to explore those changes in perspective.
for example:  bc you sent me this, i’m assuming that you havent written a micronation before, but that you ARE in the hws rpc, so i’m inferring that you probably play a real nation character or some other, still valid, type of representative, like a state or a city.  so probably a few centuries old at least, Survived Some Really Awful Shit, those kinds of characters?  by which i mean, basically every character you’re going to interact with ever?
they are all KAIJUS to you now.
the average micronation is considered "pretty old" if they’re, like, 60.  and most of them haven’t been through a lot by comparison - by the standards of “immortal-ish” people, they really don’t have a lot of life experience.*  and that’s a cool thing!  that’s interesting!  small setbacks can be huge to them, and sometimes you’ll get to write them experiencing something for the first time ever, which for immortal characters is hard to come by.
and thats important, because even though theyre completely different from nations - theyre still immortal kids.  theyre completely different from humans, too.  they’re stranded somewhere in between, and cant fully relate to either.
as a side effect of this, your character probably wont know anything about the adult nations in terms of what theyve been through, or who has a centuries-long grudge against who.  its a really bizarre situation to observe as an outsider!  and asking adult nations any questions about the past can feel like trying to step out onto a frozen lake.
(*this is true for basically all of them except seb, who is old as shit and only gets categorised as a micronation because apparently its too much a pain in the ass to just clarify what the fuck a terra nullius is.  some of the points to follow can still apply to him tho!)
something else which makes micronations feel so different to write is how ephemeral they all are, how unreliable their existence is.  the extent to which they’re aware of this, and whether or not they’ll actually acknowledge it.
imagine a representative who could be dissolved over the weekend, with no warning, just because their boss lost too much money or got bored.  every micro rper i’ve ever seen has given their character some unique take on the weird existential dread this inevitably causes - sometimes, they can only truly relate to each other.  these kids are lost as hell.
they’ll probably have a really close bond (not necessarily always positive, but always hugely significant) with their founders and/or their rulers, because in all likelyhood that’s probably the only boss they’ve ever had yet.  it’s rare for this not to be the case!  like, MAYBE they’re one generation away by now if your micro is one of the older ones. think for a moment of a normal nation character - if ONE SINGLE human was solely responsible for the creation of this living representative, how important do you imagine that human would be to them?  how much of a formative influence over their personality would that human have?
speaking of formative influences - no matter which micronation you pick, there WILL be a weird dynamic of some kind between your chara and whoever their macro is.  because it is just basically impossible for you to be as important to them as they are to you.
let’s say you pick up kugel for example.  austr/as are going to be CENTRAL and CRUCIAL to your character’s experiences, but just think of ALL the other characters that are so so important to austr/a, and its history and relations??  over CENTURIES?  and then some guy builds a silly house and gets put in jail about it and now youre being accosted by this weird immortal child suddenly and i guess hes related to you??
i’m not saying anything about ooc here btw - im not saying anything at all about muns.   im saying that the ic micro-macro dynamic is, inevitably, HUGELY unbalanced in SOME way, and that’s SO SUPER FUCKING INTERESTING.  ITS GREAT.
finally and MOST importantly, micros also have a HUGE potential to be goofy as fuck.  some of them, like sea for example, are actually mostly normal By Comparison - and then you get the ones who tie their currency to the current price of cookie dough, or make up some elaborate lore about how they invented time.  i really encourage looking into your micro and incorporating some of the weird traits you’ll find !!
(on that note, they won’t have a lot of history to learn [unless youre seb lmfao], so you can probably realistically learn all of it, and since theres not that much of it, everything you learn can be, at least a little, important to your character in some way!)
but even the more normal micros are still super weird!  like, the reasons behind why they were founded, WHERE they are, etc they really just are inherently strange in a delightful way!  theyre all so vibrant!  and building a character out of what little a micronation has is a really fun experience and gives you a lot of creative freedom.
and as primarily a micro rper, i promise u, the experience of finding someone *else* who *also* plays micronations is so exciting and rare that it borders on being a meta sort of parallel to the bonds that the micros have with each other.
im honestly of the opinion that hws rpers should Try writing a micronation at least Once.  even if its just for like a week. ive written both kinds of characters, and, with my hand to god, it REALLY affects the way you interact w other characters, and the way they interact with yours in return.  and it is FASCINATING to watch people write micros for the first time, and talking with them about it is extremely fun!  im biased obviously - i think its hard not to be when youre invested in your character and the groups they’re a part of.  but still !!
ANYWAY THANK U SM FOR ASKING ME THIS, I LOVE YOU AND I HOPE I HELPED!!!!!!!!  IF YOU DO END UP MAKING ONE I AM *BEGGING* U TO LET ME KNOW ASAP

Explanation why Shadow Chaser is like this
So, I had a conversation with @jazzthemusician, talking about Shadow Chaser and his insanity and I really liked how I explained why is he the way he is, what happened to him and why he is so hellbent on killing his own son, King Ghidorah.
Including some possibilities of Shadow maybe, “maybe”, being able to reconsile with his family.
Maybe prepare some tissues, I actually cried myself typing this (copy pasted out conversation here)
jazzthemusician
Now it makes me wonder what would happen if crimson let him you know
Like because of him being sick or suffering from being in the egg to long or something
 archangeldraws
If she had let him kill Ghidorah and try again?
jazzthemusician
Yea…pretty much
Because he was sick or something like that
I don’t see her just letting him kill him just because he was weak
But see might
*she
 archangeldraws
Well, if she had complied, I think... Shadow might still not be ok
 jazzthemusician
Sorry it’s like 4 am here and my mind is racing
 archangeldraws
He would tell himself that it was the right thing to do, to free the cub of it's misery
 jazzthemusician
Would she try and help him? Or would it end in…death..
 archangeldraws
But he would feel so guilty for ending his own baby's life. He would feel guilty for the rest of his life. Maybe he would be cold towards the next cub. OR he would be so attached to it and spoiling it, as an apology to the first one, since the first didn't get any of this
And his relationship with his mate would be strained, since he killd her son
 jazzthemusician
Dang makes me see him in a whole new light
 archangeldraws
The only thing that would have changed all this, would be if San had never been stuck in the first place. That was the trigger
 jazzthemusician
Ah
 archangeldraws
A father's fear of losing his child before it had a chance to live and it made him tear himself apart because he couldn't handle it
It is not San's fault, it never was
 jazzthemusician
Yea don’t blame the head he wasn’t the fault here it was shadow’s mental health that kinda put him into a spiral
 archangeldraws
Shadow is a monster, yes. But no one fear hims more... than himself
 jazzthemusician
Yea
 archangeldraws
Strong emotions can do weird things to someone's psyche
Like a parent having such a strong love for their child, it can be a negative thing sometimes
 jazzthemusician
Yea I remember scaring the crap out of someone and they did better because of it lol Yea never letting them leave the house and stuff like that
 archangeldraws
The fear, the pain, the anger, the love. All those things mixed together into a toxic cocktail. Both parents felt lost at that moment and both acted differently
If anything, Shadow was the weak one here
 jazzthemusician
Dang he is isn’t he
He was drinking down that cocktail like no other I’m sorry
 archangeldraws
Empress wanted to fight for her cub's life, at least try to get it to love. Shadow was so scared of her getting hurt if it didn't work, of himself getting hurt, he just couldn't see the possibility of it surviving anymore
 jazzthemusician
He should have had more faith in his son
Because he probably would have been probably unstoppable
 archangeldraws
If Shadow could have a clear moment while with Ghidorah... he would crumble at his son's feet and cry
 jazzthemusician
Aww and ahhh at the same time
 archangeldraws
He would cry and apologize and accept that that his son maybe could never forgive him and it's ok if he doesn't want him in his life. Shadow would promise to stay away, but please Ghidorah, please, just stay alive. He doesn't want his child dead, he wants him alive and healthy and happy, that's all he really wants for his son
 jazzthemusician
Makes me wanna cry
 archangeldraws
That's what his FATHER wants, not the monster he's become
Dude I am crying myelf right now X'D
 jazzthemusician
We a good dad arc 😂
 archangeldraws
His last words might be "I always wanted you. But I couldn't bear the thought of losing you, so I lost myself instead. I'm sorry, my child. None of this is your fault. Just mine"
 jazzthemusician
Sorry this is the one I meant 😢
  archangeldraws
So sad, isn't it?
Man, I do wish I could make them have a father-son relationship. But would it be possible and logical?
 jazzthemusician
Hmmm
Maybe
But probably would have to have him breaking down in front of his son like you said
 jazzthemusician
But it’s still has the possibility that ghidorah would kill him
 archangeldraws
If they meet, they would fight. Shadow, in his insane state, is out to kill Ghidorah. He is the source of their misery. He thinks killing Ghidorah will free him. Since that was the goal from the beginning
Maybe, if Shadow is losing the fight but clearing his mind in the process, maybe he can tell his son the truth before he perishes
That, or, if there was an attack from another kaiju or from humans and Ghidorah is already weak from their fight.... Maybe he'll try to protect his son instead, taking the killing blow
 jazzthemusician
Yea….but what if he comes back like ghidorah? Ooo probably mess him up more
Oooo
I like that one
Mines a little slow on reply’s lol
 archangeldraws
Or maybe he survives, sees his son fight, she's Ghidorah, really SEES him.... alive and strong... that maybe this dark curtain that has been blinding him for so long fall from his eyes. Ghidorah is alive. He's strong. He lives! His child lives! He's not dying, Shadow doesn't have to fear that anymore. They are both alive and free!
 jazzthemusician
Awwwww yes
 archangeldraws
That's alright. If you're too tired, you should go to sleep
No no I’m alright
I fell asleep early
It just shows it up right after I send it
 jazzthemusician
Oh that going to make me cry a little more
 archangeldraws
So I guess you could say.... Shadow Chaser is stuck. Stuck in the moment where his son was on the brink of death. And his wish, his desire to kill Ghidorah is, because in his twisted, twisted mind, his son, his BABY, is still suffering and dying
And he wants to end his misery. Kind of a dark version of trying to safe him?
 jazzthemusician
Man
It makes sense
Sadly enough it makes sense
 archangeldraws
Kinda, right?
 jazzthemusician
Right and all o can see is shadow crying their eyes out saying ‘that’s my son’ to themselves as they use their wing to hid themselves as they be proud of they’re son
 archangeldraws
He'd be so proud, yes. It wouldn't matter to him anymore that his's son's nest isn't terraformed. As long as he's alive and happy
 jazzthemusician
-Nods in agreement- yes!
 jazzthemusician
I’m sorry but I thought of something funny
Do you mind if I tell you?
 archangeldraws
Go ahead
 jazzthemusician
Now let’s say that shadow is on the path to be a good dad
Now ghidorah probably still doesn’t trust him enough to be around his own kids so…
In comes the practice kid
Void
 jazzthemusician
Ghidorah being like ‘ one hour! With this kid and he better not be dead! Then we might maybe let you see your grand Cubs from two islands over if you have good vision
 archangeldraws
So Ghidorah will just push Void towards Shadow, see how that goes?
 jazzthemusician
Yea pretty much
And Nido is the only one that’s not scared of him
 archangeldraws
Hmm, could be a win-win for them
 jazzthemusician
Lol
 archangeldraws
They get to see if Shadow really means it AND get rid of Void
 jazzthemusician
At the same time!
 jazzthemusician
Bruh shadow teaches them how to be chaotic
 archangeldraws
Maybe
 jazzthemusician
They come back the island is completely disappeared into the ocean and all you hear from shadow is how to destroy crap
 archangeldraws
Or Shadow will just... mellow out and become really docile after billions of years of fear and rage
 jazzthemusician
Yea probably that too
 archangeldraws
Maybe he'll become super quiet and lounge all day, doing nothing at all
He must be really tired from all that
I mean, that was a real strain on his psyches and he could really use some rest to heal from it. Might take another million years, who knows?
 jazzthemusician
Void would probably follow them for a while just watching them
I forgot about that
 archangeldraws
I guess Shadow could teach them something about their species and all that
But the most logical thing that could happen after becoming "free" again is to rest. Maybe hybernate, let his minds heals until he's ready to wake up again and be ok
 jazzthemusician
Yea
Still I thought it was a funny idea
 jazzthemusician
But the old guy needs rest
 archangeldraws
Yep, that's an old man
 jazzthemusician
‘Get off my lawn’ old man or the closed off one or the one who give out hard candy and words of wisdom😂
 archangeldraws
The lonely silent man that just wants to sleep but likes watching others have fun through his window
And wishes his family would visit more often
 jazzthemusician
Aww
That would be sweet
 archangeldraws
Yep
 jazzthemusician
But this is your au you can do what ever you like to happen lol it is sweet tho
Wait!
Would crimson and shadow get back together??!??!
 archangeldraws
Maybe
She still loves him and he still loves her
 jazzthemusician
Gasp
I like the maybe lol
 archangeldraws
And technically, since he never died and she didn't oficially leave him...
They are still mates
 jazzthemusician
Aw.. she probably won’t believe him ahhh 😱
But it’s still cute!
 archangeldraws
Well, Mahri and Isah are open to the possibility. They do miss their mate. It's Rana who can't easily forgive
 jazzthemusician
Aww sorry I just think they’re a cute Chaotic Couple
 archangeldraws
They are ^^
 jazzthemusician
Would shadow not like realize that they’re technically still mates and in like the dead of night he’s like wait a min almost Immediately goes to go find her
 archangeldraws
Oh he knows it the whole time. But he doesn't want to return to her until he freed his son from his misery
 jazzthemusician
Oooh
 archangeldraws
Like, how could he go to his mate and ignore their suffering baby like that? No no, he has to kill him and free him first. And then they can attempt to have a cub again
 jazzthemusician
Dang
Hmm 🤔 what if he tries to explain himself to her like how he thinks that ghidorah is suffering and all that
And her being like he’s not suffering!
 archangeldraws
That would only end up in a fight again
You can't reason with him in this state
 jazzthemusician
Yea no not even himself
 archangeldraws
Nope
Even if one brother is of clear mind, the other two will just suck him back into their madness
 jazzthemusician
He feels like he could actually save ghidorah from suffering he’s just slowly killing himself from the inside out
Dang
 jazzthemusician
It’s sad to see
But angst
 archangeldraws
Pretty much, yeah

Soooo… Let‘s talk about my Kaijustars AU
Godzilla‘s family! To be more specific his dad and siblings.
Gojira (old man Goji) – the dad. He was in the original movie, but refused to take part in the sequels. He’s a cranky old man and not a very good father (or grandfather for that matter). Also he’s really bad at names – literally all of his sons have the name “Godzilla”. His daughters did get their own names however.
Godzilla (Goji) – I mean… it’s Godzilla. He was the star of the showa series, heisei series and even the millennium movies (yeah, I know that millennium Godzillas canonically look very different, but I didn’t wanna make this au more complicated than it needs to be, so it’s just him – canons don’t matter). He is a friendly and likable (just a little narcissistic) middle-aged dude. He’s a proud father of two (Minilla and Junior) and a loving grandpa (Shin aka Kamata-kun). Btw Minilla is now all grown up and Shin is his baby.
SpaceGodzilla (Space) – he is basically Goji’s twin brother. To be exact, they are not twins – they have different moms and Space hatched about a week earlier. That being said, they grew up together and consider each other the closest siblings (so yeah, basically twins). Space is kind of a mess. He’s still nice and quite likable, but definitely less sociable. He is still a great uncle tho.
Mechagodzilla I – two moods: dad jokes 24/7 or tired to death. He’s a single father of a little baby boy (Machagodzilla IV aka City). Poor MG1 barely gets any sleep or free time. But it’s okay – he loves his kid too much to be mad.
Mechagodzilla II – oh boy. This is a guy who knows his own worth for sure. Always keeps himself in a good shape, always surrounded by women, very popular and loved by everyone. He might seem like an asshole to you, but actually he’s a pretty charismatic and lovable dude. Is his lifestyle hedonistic? Yes, kinda. But it’s not as bad as you think. He still thinks of others and tries to help whenever he can. In other words, MG2 is an ok guy after you get to know him.
Mechagodzilla III (Kiryu) – Gojira’s youngest kid. He’s just sweet and likable. A little shy. Has a pretty normal lifestyle. Kinda wants to start a family, but not sure if he’s ready yet. Too scared to start a relationship with a fangirl, due to previous bad experiences.
Jirahs – she’s an ultra kaiju. You know, Godzilla couldn’t really appear on the Ultraman show, so they asked his younger sister. They look pretty similar, so why not? As a result most of her friends are other ultra kaijus and you rarely see her spending time with the Toho guys. That being said… she hangs out with Zedus a lot - people suspect they might be a couple (or you know, just frill friends).
Biollante (Bio) – what an absolute Goddess! Look at her! She is big, strong, and stoic. She’s the oldest child in the family. As a kid she had to take care of all those bullies who were picking on her little brothers. Now she is a beautiful plant lady. She’s loving, caring and supportive, has a good sense of humor. Bio is a person you would wanna hang out with (but don’t you dare talk shit about her family or friends). She is also old man’s favorite kid – yes Gojira is that type of parent who would play favorites.
So, from oldest to youngest: Biollante, SpaceGodzilla, Godzilla, Jirahs, Mechagodzilla I, Mechagodzilla II, Mechagodzilla III. All from different moms. I guess that says a lot about old man Goji.

After having played the game, here are my thoughts on Sword and Shield. (SPOILERS)
RIVALS You’re stuck with yet another annoyingly happy friendly rival, though he does experience some character growth and becomes the most challenging of your three rivals. Bede and Marnie, while both better rivals characteristically, one a jerk who pulls a Vegeta and literally refers to himself as a “Super Elite” at one point, and the other how a friendly rival should be done, “I don’t hate you, but we’re rivals, not friends, and I’m gonna keep coming at you till I win” kind of deal, are sadly both are made easy by the fact that they’re mono-type users. Bede Psychic and Marnie Dark. VILLAIN TEAM Team Yell amounts to nothing. They are exactly as advertised. A bunch of hardcore Marnie fans from Marnie’s home town. Its Team Skull without the conspiracy. Chairman Rose’s, (The actual villain) plan makes no sense. He wants to awaken Eternatus, which causes Pokemon across the region to spontaneously dynamax, causing untold damage to the region and its people. He wants to do this because it will somehow solve an energy crisis Galar is not currently facing and won’t face for another 1000 years. How this works is never explained. His battle theme was awesome tho, it straight up sounded like something out of Final Fantasy. At times it felt like they were trying to comment on global warming. “Taking action today to solve a problem tomorrow”, but it framed it as a bad thing.
DIFFICULTY These games are more difficult than X/Y, but slightly less difficult than US/UM The gym leaders are finally free of their “3 Pokemon with only 3 moves” thing that plagued Kalos, but they’re not exactly “wall” difficult. There is no Whitney. They’re not rocking type-coverage moves or anything.
Hop is the only trainer to present you with any real challenge throughout the game, mainly because he changes his team up every now n then, even adding a surprise Snorlax out of nowhere.
I personally didn’t have any trouble taking down Leon, but I’ve seen him nearly wipe some people so idk. Regardless, his battle was really hype because he’s built up throughout the game as being unbeatable. He’s not a total pushover, but he’s probably the weakest champion to date.
MISSING MOVES You’re not going to miss any of the removed moves  and not as many have been removed as that list that was floating around was claiming.  GameFreak trimmed the fat.
QUALITY OF LIFE IN THE META GAME As far as breeding, raising Pokemon, etc for competitive goes? this is hands down the best Pokemon game to date. If you’re playing Pokemon solely for the meta game and you’re not hung up on some Pokemon being gone, then this is going to be the best Pokemon game in your eyes.
Mints let you change a Pokemon’s nature.
Ability capsule is only 50 BP now.
Egg moves don’t require breeding to be learned
Dittos with good IVs can be easily obtained in a specific raid den (I have two 4 IV dittos just chilling)
Move reminder/deleter is one NPC located in every Pokemon center and his services are free. (He’s also the name rater)
IV checker is a feature of the PC after you complete 6 battles in the battle tower in post game. thanks to the remote PC item thing, the PC is accessible from anywhere so you can check IVs where ever and when ever you want
Eggs seem to take less time to hatch now. That, or the wild area is just weird, because thats where I do all my egg hatching.
Hyper training is still a thing, with bottle caps you can boost a level 100 Pokemon’s IVs Getting your Pokemon to level 100 is easy because the game throws rare candies and EXP candies at you. Very easy to amass a bunch. You can also choose to feed as many as possible to the Pokemon at once, so no more one at a time crap.
Speaking of “No more one at a time crap”, you can now max out a Pokemon’s EVs with vitamins, where as in the past you could only use 10 of a vitamin max. It takes 26 to max out an EV. Expensive, but fast. Vitamins can be purchased for their usual price, or bought at battle tower for 2 BP each
PRESENTATION While the story wasn’t great, the presentation was. When they did a cutscene, they DID a cutscene. However this made the fact that there’s no voice acting very jarring. There are points in this game that legitimately feel like they were supposed to have voice acting. Maybe in the next one.
THE MISSING POKEMON I’ll be 100% real here. I didn’t miss them (and some of the Pokemon I use frequently didn’t make it in) And honestly, it shakes up the meta game. Meta game was getting stale for a while now. I just used different Pokemon and honestly found some new favorites because of it.
MUSIC The music in this game is great. Not every song is a banger, but a lot of them are. All the major battle themes are absolutely fantastic. Sadly you’ll have to wait until post-game to hear the battle theme Toby Fox contributed. Or you can just go to youtube.
THE WILD AREA The wild area is a pretty good chunk of land, but at the same time I hoped it would be bigger. After you beat the Pokemon league, the Pokemon in the wild area all scale up to a minimum level of 60, with some of the raid dens having level 70 Pokemon
MAX RAID BATTLES Surprisingly fun, though the game will give you the absolute most brain dead NPC teammates if you play offline. You have 10 turns to take down the kaiju mon, BUT if it KO’s pokemon on your team 4 times, the raid ends. The “Playing raid battles with NPCs” experience can be summed up like this. “Oh the Pokemon’s barrier only needs 1 more hit to break and that hit will also result in us winning? And the Pokemon only needs to get one more KO to make us fail the raid? And everyone is on low HP and will surely get KO’d in the next attack? Lemme just... Rock polish real quick...” The game doesn’t take type advantage into account when setting you up with NPCs for raids so sometimes you’ll go into a raid against a fire type and the NPCs will all have things that are weak to fire, or just not good against fire. So for the love of god, play raids online with real people if its a high level raid
The game is a solid 7/10 9/10 if you’re in it just for the meta game

More Angele headcannons.
- She’s a massive nerd. She has a pretty good grip on understanding car mechanics and BioMed. She also understands the basics of human health and animal health. If someone, or some kaiju, is sick, it usually doesn’t take her very long to figure out what might be causing the issue.
- She used to live in an area that was super hot and humid, so after the whole ordeal with her arms, she moved up north.
- Angele tends to wear a lot of clothing. She started due to her being super frail to the sunlight, and it soon became part of her character. It’s a plus now that she’s in the northern part of the states.
- As a result of her wearing so much clothing, she covers a lot of scars from fighting. She’s nowhere near as scarred as Sebastian, but there are some significant ones. There is one that isn’t from all the battles she’s had so far, and that’s simply because of her appendix.
- She sucks at insulting people. This might be caused by the fact that she’s never been so angry at someone to the point of turning ugly. Sometimes, one of Sols or Reds would have an insult battle with her and they usually either wind up laughing to the point of crying or just sit there super confused from some of the creative, yet random insults she comes up with.
- She’s gotten @ellzilla‘s RED to emote a couple of times just from being goofy. It was usually a really bad dark joke.
- She may or may not have a small crush on RED.. and she struggles with it a lot. She was raised knowing from stories that demons are not to be messed with, yet here’s this demon being chill around someone who a demon would usually try to attack and it’s hard for her to wrap her head around it- She doesn’t think RED knows about it, tho.
- She has a pair of sunglasses similar to the ones that Ell!Solomon wears.
- She owns two “Still the Best 1973″ shirts. One is sleeveless, the other is a regular T-shirt.
- After accidentally spearing RED, she fixed up his robe with the knowledge she gained from her Home Economics class. RED has not worn it, but he did keep it.
- She has an admirer.. which is Noelani. He puts a lot of trust in her, so that means that he would turn his belly up to her. Even when injured, he allows her to care for his wounds since he knows she won’t hurt him.
- She, along with Aloisio, makes necklaces for Achiel ( @entseeltnathus ) to decorate himself in.
- She loves fluffy stuff. Her blankets, pillows, and some of her clothing is covered in faux fur. It keeps her from trying to snuggle one of the Sols when they want their personal space. Her iconic blue jacket has some type of faux fur on it, but it’s nowhere near as intense as her other pieces of clothing.
- She’s not big on shopping, make-up, or any of the traditional stuff girls are usually into. She’s usually seen out on the waters fishing, or is in her personal underground garage fixing up vehicles and getting her claws dirty.
- Speaking of fishing, she has legitimate gills. However, they’re not found in her neck, but where her ribs and lungs are. She receives air by breathing in the water. You’d think she’d drown, but the gills work to filter out that water while the small alveoli extract the oxygen from the compounds. Yes, that also means she technically can’t get pneumonia. It would be forced out of her gills before it has the chance to settle and grow.
- She has to wear a webbed tail fin to help her swim. It also has a stinger on the end that’s totally not inspired by Mothra.
- Angele’s scar does a few things: one of them is being able to shoot lightning out of it. It’s much like how Godzilla defeated Muto Prime. The only way for her to have access to this kind of power is for her to be super angry or to be high off of her own adrenaline. It is painful, but she has dealt with worse.
- She can breathe fire, and said fire is normally a light blue. It’s made of a plasma, because Kindled Dragons basically create star matter, so the angrier or more high on adrenaline she gets, the more blue her fire becomes. This has only happened once with Ghidorah and lets just say that he did not have a good day that day.
- If an enemy thinks that wrapping her would leave her helpless, they’re wrong. The brighter she glows, the hotter she gets. She can get so hot so fast that it would hurt whoever dares to touch her.
- She has rather strong lungs. Her roar is able to push back a kaiju significantly bigger than her at a good distance.
- Speaking of roars, her’s has terrified people. It usually starts with a high pitch, ear piercing note before the victim hears the loud blast of her roar. Her roar, as best described, is that of a lion’s, but cranked to 11. It can be heard for miles and has known to shake the ground enough to feel like a magnitude 4 earthquake.
- Angele has been punched in the jaw on both sides, so the bones that make up the joints that open and close her mouth have not healed correctly. She can now dislocate her jaw as desired and open it much wider than a normal human’s. She’s done it a few times as a joke, and she’s winded up scaring people.
- It’s unclear on how much radiation her body can take. Most kaiju tend to feed off of this stuff, but she tends to stay away because she’s seen what too much radiation does to humans.
- She has nicknames for each of the Sols and Reds.
- She even has nicknames for Aloisio, Sebastian, and Mr. Poofball, too.
GOD, THIS WAS STARTING TO GET TOO LONG-
I HAVE MORE, BUT I WILL DO THOSE LATER.
@arandomvelociraptor, @entseeltnathus, @ellzilla, @tooronz, @zincs-posts, @waffle-the-frog, @jeweledstone.
