Thaya!!!! Thaya my beloved hello thank you for the ask!!!
🐴Favorite horse pattern: I can't chose one so my top 3 patterns (in any order) are dark brown with black sooty marks, grey with black sooty marks, and then just the full black horse.
🐈Favorite cat color: Definitely the ragdoll pattern I just enjoy looking at it the most.
🦅Faborite parrot color: Honesty cannot remember the last time I had a pet parrot. I think it's the silver cockatiel though.
🐾 Favorite passive mob: Does the dragon egg count as a passive mob?? Because I love that thing so much. Real answer tho is the cat.
💀Favorite hostile mob? Least favorite hostile mob?: ENDER DRAGON I LOVE HER. But also I really really like gaurdians. I currently have a pet gaurdian in my mc house named Guppy! He is my sweet baby boy that I show to people to freak them out. Least favorite is gonna have to be hoglins they are very annoying. This answer has nothing to do with me being murdered by a hoglin in my speedrun earlier today I promise. You have to believe me.

Update: I made a route for Sakusa! Find that here
Update: I made a route for Atsumu! Finda that here
Story
“Alrighty boys are you ready to go on in?” You said staring at the four well dressed men behind you.
“No, and I want to go home.” Sakusa adjusted his black facemask. He wasn’t keen on coming to this event whatsoever.
“Sakusa I know, but I really need you! Besides what would you be doing anyway? It's Valentine's day and you're as single as single gets. Live a little. Maybe you will find your Mrs.Clean tonight! Ya never know!” You said as he rolled his eyes and scoffed.
“Omi-Omi don't be that way. Our lovely manager here worked hard to get us this opportunity, and it's benefiting a charity you scrooge.” Atsumu smacked Sakusa’s back.”I think your just upset because you know all the ladies are going to bid on me.” The blond setter smirked at the very pissed Sakusa who just glared at him.
“NOoO It's going to be me who gets all the bids. I still have my tan from Brazil and I’m alot cooler than all of you.” Hinata piped up, proudly adjusting his tie that had little volleyballs on it.
“Well if we don’t get our asses in that building, aint none of y’all getting any bids, besides I’m freezing to death,” You said rubbing your arms. The dress you wore done little to protect you from the cold night.
“Take this please, I don’t want to freeze to death. I like you warm and alive.” Bokuto, who's been oddly quiet, spoke up wrapping his grey tux jacket around your shoulders leaving him in his blue button up. You could smell his cologne on the jacket, you could drown in this and wouldn't complain. Your cheeks ran hot and you managed to let out a “thank you” through chattering teeth.
“Okay let’s get going.” You said wrapping the jacket tighter around you as the boys followed you like baby ducks. Bokuto walked up beside you while the two boys bickered over who would have the most bids in the back, Sakusa wanted no part in it and stayed to himself. You look at Bokuto who seemed nervous. You decided to hype him up a bit before he went into emo mode. “Bokuto you are going to have some gorgeous high profile women coming after you tonight, I’m jealous of them.” You didn't lie, you had the biggest crush on Bo, ever since you took the job as the MSBY manager. You never have a frown on your face next to him- until now. You knew he’d have a woman, that's not you, by his side tonight. You’d bid on him until your bank went in the negative but you don’t get paid like the women at this event do.
“You wait and see, I’ll have the most beautiful one by time the night is out.” Bokuto said, smiling at you. You felt a pang of sadness creep on you, if he only knew.
The warm air of the ballroom felt nice against your cool body. You gave Bokuto his jacket back, you secretly wished you could keep it forever. You took in your surroundings, the ball room was filled with women in designer dresses and you could see the small stage in the middle of the room.
“Guys I have to find the event coordinator and see what time you guys need to get on stage. Please be on your best behavior, there are cameras everywhere. Atsumu keep the drinking to a minimum, Shoyo for the love of God go to the bathroom now, Omi keep these fools in line and you better be nice to people and last but never the least Bokuto, If you dance please be careful, I don’t want to take you to the ER again because you hit the Cha cha slide too hard. And with that I’m out. I’m counting on you guys.” You said giving them a thumbs up as you got lost into the sea of people to hunt the event coordinator.
~
“Thank you so much Y/N! Everyone is looking forward to the auction. We have some models and a couple pop stars who will be in the line up as well as a few volunteers . I want your boys to go at the end, as they say ‘always save the best for last’.” The coordinator spoke over the bustling crowd. She went over the rules and where they needed to go and what time to line up. You soaked in all the information the bubbly coordinator was giving you. “I have to go let the rest of the people know the game plan. Please have your guys here and lined up in half an hour. Thank you again!” And with that she disappeared into the crowd. Now here came the hard part.
You scanned the large ballroom to find your heathens. Sakusa would be the easiest to find because he is most likely on one of the four corners in the building. Hinata was most likely with Bokuto, and Atsumu was a wild card, he could be at the bar, maybe even on the dance floor trying to impress girls with his dance moves(That suck by the way). You recall the time you found him passed out in a bush drunk off ass at a gala last year. You make up a game plan, you would get Bo and Hinata first, then find a hopefully sober Tsumu and lastly get Sakusa (you figured it best not to drag him around the ballroom) You spot Bokuto’s tall figure next to a snack bar, and as you figured Hinata was with him. They were both stuffing their mouths with meat kebabs and other foods like wild animals, they sure love to eat you thought.
“Bokuto,Hinata, they are getting ready to line everyone up, wait for me over there.” You said pointing towards an area that was not too terribly crowded.
“HEY HEY HEY Y/N try one of these things, they are so freakin good.” He shoved a cake pop in front of your face. You took it from the gray haired boy.
“Thank you Bo, but we really need to go.” You took a bite from the cake pop. “Wow that is really good.” You said finishing it in one bite. You heard some snickers from a group of girls, they made a smug comment about you eating it all at once. You normally would throw hands but you had an image to uphold. You shouldn't let it bother you but it did.
“Hey don’t let that bother you, besides I like a girl that can eat.” Bokuto said, patting your head. He is literally the human version of sunshine.
“Thanks Bo. But really we need to get the move on, I still have to hunt Tsumu down. Can you and Hinata wait for me over there.” You said pointing to the area again.
“Roger that.” They said unison.
“I’ll be right back.” You said going back into the crowd. You checked the dancefloor first and he wasn't there(You were relieved he was not.). You made your way to the bar and found him surrounded by women who were mesmerized by his thick accent. You waved him down and he nodded and turned his attention back to the group he had attracted.
“It looks like It's time fer’ me to go, make sure you all bid for me. I’ll be a waitin’” He said getting up and following you. The women he had been entertaining giggled as he walked away.
“Look at you being a player. I didn’t expect that from a man who yells at girls when they cheer for him.” You leaned into him so he could hear you over the crowd.
“I’m just tryin’ to raise some money, it's strictly business. My heart belongs to volleyball for the most part.”He said winking at you. He truly is just a fool in love with the sport.
You led Atsumu to the group and went to retrieve poor Sakusa. You looked around for a few minutes and felt a tug at the back of your shirt. You turn around and see Sakusa towering over you.
“This is new, I’m used to finding you sulking in a corner.” You said staring into his black eyes.
“I watched you gather everyone up, I figured I would come on over to make it easier for you.” He began to walk towards the rest of the group.
“I guess being 6’4 has its perks huh Omi? You're like a watchtower.” You said looking up at the tall spiker.
“Yeah, guess so.”He said playing with one of his dark curls.
~~
“Okay we have everyone, so you guys are going last, I’ll leave who goes first to you guys. Now let's go get lined up.” You lead them to the stage and let them line up. Atsumu insisted on going first, Hinata would go after him, then Sakusa and lastly Bokuto.
“You owe me some umeboshi after this.” Sakusa said, taking his mask off and putting it in the pocket of his tux.
“Sure thing. I'll even throw in a thing of nice smelling hand sanitizer for the trouble.” You crossed your arms and smirked at him.
“I’ll hold you to that.” He said, filing behind Hinata.
You looked at Bokuto who appeared to be a nervous wreck. He had a small layer of sweat on his forehead and his hands were shaking slightly. “Hey it's going to be okay, I’ll be right here.” You said pulling out your handkerchief and dabbing the sweat off his forehead. “You're amazing and dare I say you're the best looking one.” You said making him blush.
“Ummm HEY.” Atsumu said glaring at you, obviously butt hurt from your comment. Sakusa was unamused and took it upon himself to kick Atsumu. That gave you the opportunity to turn your attention back to the nervous male beside you. Before you could comfort him the loud speaker cut you off.
“Ladies and gentleman, would you please give your attention to the center stage, the date auction will begin momentarily.” The coordinator announced causing everyone to tense up a bit.
“Come on guys loosen up a bit, I’m going to be in the front taking pictures for our instagram page. So show off a little! Show them you are proud to be a part of such an awesome volleyball team!” You hyped them up one last team. “With that being said I want a group picture so bring it in guys.” You said pulling the camera and ushering the athletes into the frame. “Say cheese.” Atsumu wrapped his arm around Sakusa who didn’t have the chance to push him off, Bokuto gave Hinata bunny ears. It was a chaotic photo, but It caught their true essence.
“I want a picture with you before you go Y/N. Pleaseee.” Bokuto gave you puppy dogs eyes and you couldn't deny him.
“Sure Bo. Atsumu here.” You handed him the camera and got beside Bokuto. He wrapped an arm around your waist and held you close to him. You could feel his muscles through the tux that fit just a little too good.
“Aww you look like a cute couple.” Atsumu teased as he brought the camera up to snap a picture. You couldn't make a comeback as embarrassment washed over you. You looked up at Bokuto who had a blush adorning his handsome face.
“Y/N I’m going to do something, don’t get mad.” Bokuto said, picking you up bridal style before you could even protest.
“That’s what I’m talking about!” Atsumu said, snapping more pictures.
“Bokuto put me down, I'm heavy!” You shriked gripping onto his tux.
“No you're not. I could carry you around all night like this if you wanted me to!” He smiled down at you! You felt your face light up like a Christmas tree. No matter how big or small you were, Bokuto always made you feel like a princess.
“As much as I’d love you to, we gotta get this ball rolling.” You said as he gently placed you back on your feet. “I’ll be taking that.” You said snatching the camera from Atsumu who was smirking. He seemed to be hiding something from the way he was acting. He is definitely sus you thought. You waved the boys goodbye and made you way to the front of the crowd. You got the camera ready as the spotlight of the stage flickered on.
“Thank you all for coming out tonight! We hope you are ready to see the heartthrobs we have lined up for you!!” The announcer said setting the tone. “Valentine's day is all about love and being with one another. So if your single, ladies, pull those yen out and let’s get to business!” The crowd cheered and applauded as the auction began.
You didn’t pay much attention to the men coming on stage, your only worry was the last 4. You scrolled through the camera to see the pictures Atsumu took of you and Bokuto. Bokuto had such a wide smile on his face in the pictures, your smile was just as big, even though your face was full of panic in the one where he effortlessly picked you up. You’re pulled from your day dream when you heard the announcer’s voice.
“We have some special guests tonight from the MSBY volleyball team! We’ll start first with Miya Atsumu!” The announcer said as Atsumu walked on the stage like he owned it. He flipped his hair and looked at the group of women he serenaded earlier and blew them a kiss. You got lucky and snapped a picture of it, he may be annoying as hell but he knows how to get women. He had about ten women fighting over him, his bids kept going up and up. After a cutthroat battle he was sold for roughly 200,000 yen. He smirked and walked off the stage. You couldn’t help but chuckled to yourself, he’d be one of a kind if he didn’t have a twin.
“Up next we have Hinata Shoyo!” She said as the tangerine headed boy shly walked on stage. He looked confident for the most part and he thankfully went to the bathroom before this. He had on one of his classic charming but cute smiles. You could hear girls behind you talk about how cute he was. His skin was glowing under the spotlight thanks to the Brazilian sun. His bids went up high, he ended up being sold for 120,000 yen. He waved at the audience and bounced off the stage.
“Let’s welcome our next bachelor who just so happens to be the tallest one tonight, Sakusa Kiyoomi!” You watched on edge as Sakusa walked out, he didn’t seem nervous but he wasn’t all that interested either, he stood in the middle of the stage like a statue. To make matters worse he wasn’t smiling. You grabbed his attention for a moment and smiled as wide as you could and pointed at your face, you felt like one of the psychotic moms from toddlers and tiaras but you had to do something or he wasn't going to get any bids. You mouthed the words “Smile please” at him and he finally took the hint. He had an awkward but cute smile on his face finally. You relaxed a little and resumed taking pictures. His bids began to go up and quick. Sakusa looked at the exit of the stage and smirked at someone and turned his attention back to the crowd. You could only guess he was looking at Atsumu who was probably pissed at how high Sakusa’s bids were. Sakusa was sold for a whopping 500,000 yen. You know Tsumu’s ego was damaged beyond repair right now. Sakusa bowed and left the stage.
“Now let’s end this night right! We have one more contest so let’s welcome Bokuto Koutarou to the stage!” You felt your heart drop and the announcer said his name. You had to watch someone you loved dearly be bid off to some rich girl who would probably steal him away. You tried to knock away negative thoughts but you couldn’t help it. He looked sinfully good when he walked on stage. What nervousness he felt was gone and now it’s nothing but his overwhelming confidence. He carefully watched one specific area of the crowd. You snapped pictures of him (a lot of them being for your personal collection) as he walked around the stage flexing and showing off. His eyes met yours a lot and he seemed to be smirking at you. But his attention always went back to the one area of the crowd. You heard his bids go up, one particular girl was bidding for him like her life depended on having him. Her voice came from the direction he kept starting at. He looked nervous when anyone but her called out a bid. You began to get ate up with pure jealousy, you wish you could take him off the stage and run away with him right then and there. The bids kept going up and up and the girl that kept bidding on him got him for 150,000 yen. He looked ecstatic. He looked at you and smiled before he went off stage. Your heart dropped and you wanted to leave, but you still have work to do.
“That concludes the auction tonight! If you won you can meet up with your bachelor over here on the left.” The announcer pointed towards the group of men. You made your way to find the guys so you can take more pictures and let them know where you’ll be when they get done.
“You guys did awesome!” You said running up to them. They gave you a soft smile. You notice Bokuto was MIA. “Umm guys, where is Bo?” They hesitated for a second but your conversation was cut short as the boys dates for the evening came up.
“Sakusa was it?” A well dressed man walked up to the tall volleyball player. You noticed a small girl clutching his dress shirt. She couldn’t be any older than 8. “This is my daughter, she wanted someone to dance with her but in all honesty I’m trying to make some business deals while I’m here, keep her company for me.” The man patted his shoulder and slipped some extra money in Sakusa’s shirt pocket, leaving him slacked jawed.
“All the umeboshi your heart desires, a big box of the nice face masks you like, and whatever else you want, just please be nice to this poor girl. She looks sad.” You whispered into Omi’s ear trying to persuade him a little more.
“I didn’t come here to babysit, but I guess I can.” He said low enough that the girl couldn’t hear. Omi peered down at the small girl, she actually had moles on her face kinda like he does but on the opposite side.
“Umm hi.” She said looking up at the tall man. She seemed nervous. You nugged Omi in the side to get him to say anything.
“When was the last time you washed your hands?” He asked the girl and you could have choked him. The girl giggled at his statement.
“I wash my hands all the time! Look my mom even bought me this!” She pulled out a small key chain with a rabbit on it, attached was a small bottle of hand sanitizer. “Would you like some?” She said opening the cap. Sakusa held his hand as the small girl poured some into his hands and she gave herself some as well.
“Good.” Sakusa said, pulling his mask from his pocket to put it back on. The little girl grabbed his hand and dragged him to the dance floor. You knew this was way out of his comfort zone, but he was still doing it.
“Omg your hair is so cute! Can I touch it?” You whipped your head around to see a young bubbly girl talking to Hinata.
“Umm s—s sure.” He said nervously as the girl ran and hand through his hair. You couldn’t help but laugh a little. The poor baby seemed so embarrassed. The dance floor was filled with couples and the girl dragged Hinata to the dance floor before he could even get her name. You turned to Atsumu who looked like he had seen a ghost.
“Young man I’m getting my money's worth tonight so let's go dance.” An old lady who you thought resemble Baba Yaga from spirited away stood in front of poor Atsumu.
“Yes ma’am.” He said, forcing a smile. He looked at you pleasing eyes that screamed “please save me Y/N”. You shook your head at him.
“Pay attention to me boy, I paid good money for you.” The old lady said whacking Atsumu with the cane she carried.
“Yes ma’am, sorry ma’am.” He said walking with the old woman to the dance floor. You had to turn your head and laugh, between Sakusa getting stuck babysitting a kid and Atsumu being stuck with a senior citizen after talking all that smack, it was priceless. You guess them ladies Atsumu talked to must not have liked him that much.
You searched around for Bokuto to make sure he got his date for the night, you were also curious who she was and how pretty she was. You felt that jealousy creep back on you. This was going to be a long night. You finally spot Bokuto talking to a drop dead beautiful girl, she looked familiar but you couldn’t quite place her. She and Bokuto seemed to be having a good time, she was laughing at something he had said. Your heart shattered. You look back up to see Bo making eye contact with you. All you could do was smile and get lost in the crowd before he could see the stray tear falling down your cheek. You needed to get outside for a bit, you felt like you were suffocating. You fought the crowd and finally made your way to the exit. You pushed the metal door open. The cold night felt good against your hot skin. You walked down a path in front of the building and tried to collect yourself.
“Another year alone and single.” You blurted out to yourself. You find a small bench and decide to sit down for a bit. The night sky brought a sort of comfort to you. The stars twinkled and the moon casted a peaceful light. The cold was getting to you but you were afraid to go back in. You mentally couldn’t handle it.
“PARKOUR.” You felt your soul leave your body as you saw a shadow jump over the bench you were sitting on. You flinched back ready to fight off the attacker only to be met with Bokuto standing in front.
“BO you scared me to death!” You said inhaling a deep breath and clutching your chest.
“I’m sorry my parkour was so awesome it scared you.” He said, taking his jacket off and draping it yet again around your cold body. Your nose flooded again with the scent of his cologne. It’s calmed you down in a bittersweet way. “But angel what are you doing out here, you’ll get sick if you're not careful.” He kneeled down a bit and pulled the jacket around your cold body more.
“I could ask you the same things Mr. Parkour, you have a beautiful woman in there waiting on you, so stop wasting your time on me.” You said trying to hold it together.
“Well I’m more concerned with the real beautiful one sitting right in front of me.” He said grabbing your shaking hands. Your eyes went wide with what he said.
“Bo I’m confused?” You said looking into his golden eyes.
“Well that woman you saw me with is not really my date, yes she did bid on me, but she was never my real date. She is actually the guy who owns our gym's daughter! She agreed to bid on me, but in return she wanted a date with Atsumu’s brother and he agreed to do it! The team helped me do this so I could be with you tonight, but I guess it didn’t go as smoothly as I planned. I’m sorry I made you sad.” Bokuto sat beside you on the bench,
“Bokuto are you low key confessing to me?” You looked over at him and he smiled and shook his head.
“Yes and let me do this properly.” He cleared his throat and held his hand out for you to grab, which you gladly accepted. “Y/N please let me be your date tonight and from here on out please!”
“So like boyfriend and girlfriend Bo?” You said wanting to make sure you got the message right.
“Yes Y/N, please be my girlfriend. All that flexin on the stage was for you baby!” He stood up and flexed again making you laugh. “But in all seriousness, I freakin love you. So what do you say Y/N?”
“Yes. I would love nothing mo-“ Bokuto cut you off by lifting your body into his strong arms. You giggled as he swung you both in circles. He slowed down and seen you finally smile again
“Now that’s a pretty sight, you're not going to be sad on my watch anymore. Now we better get back inside before we freeze to death!” Bokuto wrapped an arm around your shoulder as you two began to walk back. “Wait I have something for you!” He dug through his pockets and pulled out a small jewelry box and handed it to you. You opened it and there was a necklace with a small owl charm and a “B” charm next to it.
“Bo this is so cute! Can you help me put it on!” You said handing him the necklace. He struggled to get it on but finally got it. The silver was cold on your skin, but you didn’t mind at all.
“Omi actually helped me pick it out, believe it or not. He said if I would have went alone I would have got something stupid.” Bokuto said, sliding the jewelry box back into his coat pocket. You hate to admit it but Sakusa going was probably a good thing.
“Bo I really love it, thank you.” You said leaving up and kissing his cheek. “Now let’s go back, I’ve got to check in on everyone.” You walked into the ballroom with your arm hooked around Bokuto’s bicep.
You scanned the room to see if you could find any of the guys and the only one you could see was Hinata laughing with his date. They seemed to be hitting it off pretty good. “Bokuto let’s go get something to drink.” You both walked towards the bar, you see that girl who bid on Bokuto sitting next to Osamu. They both seemed to be having a good time.
“Thank you again! The planned worked Y/N is my girlfriend now!” Bokuto walked up to them and showed you off.
“I’m so glad!” The girl said, clasping her hands together. “You are a cute couple.”
“Speaking of a cute couple.” Osamu chimed in and pointed towards his brother Atsumu who was being dragged around by that old lady. “I may have given her some free Onigiri vouchers and a few hundred yen to bid on him.” The twin laughed at his brother's despair.
“Your evil, but I like it.” The girl said as they clinked their drinks together.
“You guys enjoy it, we still have to hunt for Omi.” You bowed and clung back on to Bokuto.
After circulating the ballroom a few times you finally find Sakusa and the little girl sitting at a table. Sakusa looked dead tired and the little girl was stuffing her face with cake
“Omi you look like a tired dad.” Bokuto said bursting out laughing at his teammate.
“I see your plan worked.” Sakusa said, looking at the necklace through tired eyes.
“Yes it did now this cutie is all mine.” Bokuto said peppering your cheek with kisses.
“How disgusting, when you grow up don’t date idiots like him.” Sakusa looked at the child who just nodded her head. It was hilarious to see Omi so out of his element. “That was directed at you Bokuto not Y/N.”
“Omi, he is a idiot but he is my idiot.” You patted Bokuto's back.
“Omi-Omi let’s go dance some more. I like this song.” The little girl tugged on his jacket.
“Fine.” Omi sighed and followed her dance floor.
“Now that we know everyone (for the most part) is okay let’s dance!” You said leading Bokuto to the dance floor.
You danced to every single song and Bo didn’t break anything when the cha cha slide came on. He swung you around all night without a care in the world.
“Let’s end the night with something nice and slow.” The Dj said putting on (Insert your favorite slow song)
“May I have this dance pretty girl?” Bokuto asked, holding his hand out to pull you closer to him.
“The Macarena may have wore me out, but I guess I have enough wind in me for one last song.” You teased wrapping your arms around his neck. He pressed a kiss to your forehead and began to slowly dance you around the room.
You see that little girl struggling to keep up with Omi’s big steps as he attempted to dance with her, he was at least trying you thought. Hinata was slow dancing with his date of the night, they both seemed comfortable and content with each other. Atsumu was still with that granny but he seemed to have accepted defeat as he danced around with her. Osamu danced with the gym owner's daughter and made it a mission to kick his brother when they got close enough, he even messed him up enough to cause the old to hit him with the cane again. You felt Bokuto's grip tighten and he dipped you down enough to finally kiss you on the lips. He pulled away and brought you back up to continue dancing.
“ I love you Y/N.” Bokuto spoke softly in your ear.
“I love you too.” You said as the song faded out.
“And one more thing Y/N” Bokuto said, leaning down to whisper in your ear. “I told you I would have the most beautiful girl here.”

Okay. So this is like, the funniest prompt that I found, wrote a bit for, and forgot about. I wrote it for a different fandom, and then thought "Organization XIII would be funny for this..." Org. XIII is turned into children and now the Reader has to (make sure they don't die) take care of them. Ages like... 4-9 because that's when children are the funniest. Do what you will with it
ngl im a sucker for old cliche prompts like these, every fandom has at least an au for this specific setting or some kindergarden au lolol
anyway here’s some HCs as to how they’d act and stuff !
Xemnas :
One of the oldest kids, but you don’t really know what to make of him. You were expecting Xemnas to still lead the rest, scare them into submission with a simple glare or something - turns out he’s rather timid. Barely speaks, you get the feeling he’s ignoring you on purpose, just makes a lot of faces and noises to indicate what he’s feeling.
Somewhat clingy too, but unlike Demyx and Xigbar who want to get your attention through any means possible, Xemnas just grabs onto the hem of your shirt and follows you everywhere in silence. Doesn’t cause much trouble, but he doesn’t help you keep the others in check either, a true neutral I guess.
Sometimes, he will just disappear and show up whenever you least expect him. Loves to climb and sit on tall places. Spaces out a lot. Compared to the rest, you can probably leave him to his own devices, as long as he’s not left alone with Xigbar or Larxene.
Xigbar :
Actually the oldest, but pretty annoying and high maintenance. If he got on your nerves as his regular self, then you’re in for a fucking ride - this Xigbar is here to cause problems on purpose. He likes to talk, a lot. And it’s sucks because it’s usually endless and mindless chatter or pointing out everything that he sees.
If he starts to get bored, he’ll scurry off to bother someone else, but it usually ends with someone crying or hurt. Don’t even bother keeping him on a leash, the bastard is too smart to be contained.
Xigbar is one of those kids that can be extremely useful if you get him on your side, as he has no problem snitching and ratting out the others. The best way to keep him from losing his other eye or gouging out someone else’s is to bribe or trick him into helping you (just know that he can also be bribed by the other kids, Xigbar WILL betray you).
Xaldin :
You expected Zexion to be the loner type, but turns out it’s Xaldin - he’ll always be on his own or avoiding the others, usually around the kitchen since you’ve banned everyone from going in there until they return to normal (not that they listen to you, but oh well).
Xaldin is pretty much like those kids who hate being treated like kids and who pretend to be above the rest. While he might seem calm, it’s really easy to get him riled up, a simple “I bet you can’t do this or that” and he’s off to prove himself.
Oddly enough, he gets jealous easily - if you give Roxas a cookie or whatever for behaving, then you GOTTA give Xaldin one too or else he’ll throw a fit. The best thing you can do with him is be honest and confess that you need him to chill the fuck out and Not Die :tm: while you take care of the others, he’ll feel all grown up because you told him the truth and will calmly stay in his room.
Vexen :
One of the oldest kids, the stereotypical kid who only has ONE interest and won’t shut the fuck up about it, which is cute but not everyone has the patience to sit through a 6 hour talk about dinosaurs. You never expected this baby Vexen to be so into dinosaurs out of all things. Of course, just because he only talks about them, doesn’t mean he’s not curious about all that shiny lab equipment.
You can’t keep him distracted with dinosaur books all day, he still has the heart and mind of a scientist ! Because he’s a very obvious nerd, he’s the target for a lot of members in the organization, namely Larxene - and when Vexen gets flustered or frustrated, he freezes up. Literally. He WILL freeze the entire room too.
Your best bet is to pair him up with Zexion or Xion, since they’ll gladly sit down to listen and learn. The three will gladly stay locked up in the library learning and reading. You just gotta hope Vexen doesn’t instantly crush Zexion and Xion’s dreams by ruining their fairytales with facts and logic.
Lexaeus :
Also one of the older kids and the tallest too. This Lexaeus is just as stoic and intimidating as the original, but apparently he’s also very sensitive. Everytime he speaks to you it sounds like he might be about to cry. But he looks fine ? So you really don’t know what to do about him.
Either way, Lexaeus is also very helpful and responsible, so you can trust him to watch over the rowdy kids and keep them relatively safe, just try not to pair him with the suuuper loud ones.
Probably the type to take the blame and responsibility for any pranks gone wrong under his watch, even if you fully know there’s no way he’s responsible. Lexaeus is the epitome of “I just want everyone to get along”. Somehow, he’s very gentle with the others (as gentle as one can be when straight up dragging Xigbar out of the ventilation system) but he’ll break any toys and other items given to him.
Zexion :
Zexion is very very small, so you can probably understand the stress he’s going through, surrounded by these animals. Like Xemnas and Demyx, he’d be pretty clingy but he wouldn’t be able to follow you around or cling to you with all the others pushing and fighting around.
So you can either just carry him on your shoulders or leave him with Lexaeus or Vexen as mentioned before. If not, Zexion will wander and either fall asleep in the Grey Area or find the library on his own.
Not a problematic child, really. Zexion lacks the energy and the feralness to join any shenanigans - he's also smart enough to know that he’ll be better off listening to you and staying clear out of safety hazards. Though there’s always the chance of other members taking advantage of Zexion’s naive and curious nature.
Saix :
You were expecting him to be a tiny version of his regular self, bitter and strict. Surprisingly, he’s way more fun as a kid, glued to Axel by the hip too. They’re the duo you should look out for - Axel is the one who gets them in trouble and Saix is the one who makes sure you never notice they were behind it all.
The one with a TERRIBLE temper right after waking up. Saix won’t hesitate to bite and claw anyone who tries to wake him up, even Axel knows better than to try. If it’s nap time, let him go, don’t even try to stop him. Don’t let anyone else near him.
Other than that ? A very nice kid in general, he feels a sense of responsibility when it comes to the younger members, so he’ll be the one to keep Axel in check whenever Zexion, Roxas or Xion are around. As for the older ones ? They’re on their own.
Axel :
Axel is the first one to say “fuck” and it spreads like wildfire. So if you start hearing a bunch of kids swear at the top of their lungs, you know who caused it. You’ll also know because you’ll find him laughing and wheezing on the ground.
Somewhat naive, if you tell him he can’t say “invertebrae” because it’s a swear world, he’ll believe you. But SURPRISINGLY he’s very aware of how dangerous his fire powers are - like, Axel wants to cause trouble on purpose, but he doesn’t really want anything to escalate and get anyone actually hurt. Unless it’s Vexen. If it’s Vexen, then it’s fine by him.
You might hear “Y/N, LOOK” before seeing Axel in the kitchen casting fucking Firaga on a bag of Totinos or something. He and Demyx somehow keep getting targeted by the Dusks, who love to play pranks on them.
Demyx :
Most likely to eat food off the ground, or anything shiny and colorful, really. He has the exact same vibes as the little brother who likes to follow people he thinks are cool to try and impress them, just to be considered a cool kid too.
Demyx is very clingy but also a sneaky kid, he can easily cry his heart out so you’ll pay attention and protect him from people he’s pissed off. This is literally why most of the kids don’t like to be around him, cause he’s THAT kid who will ruin everyone’s funs by calling the responsible adult if he gets upset.
Instead of being musically inclined, Demyx just makes a lot of noise - constant loud humming, blowing raspberries, stomping his feet or tapping/hitting things, repeating funny noises or phrases he picks up. Probably has an old ass iPod or an MP3 you can distract him with.
Luxord :
DO YOU KNOW THOSE LITTLE KIDS WHO ARE SMARTASSES ? The ones who act like they know the mysteries of the world and give you a look of superiority because you clearly don’t know what tubby custard really is ? Yeah, that’s Luxord.
Full of fun facts that he LOVES to brag about, but most of them are fake and he’s none the wiser. You cannot correct him either because it’ll be like telling an 8 year old that Santa isn’t real. Thankfully, you don’t HAVE to correct him because that’s what Xaldin is for.
Most likely to steal Xigbar’s eyepatch for himself and somehow convince everyone else that it was HIS eyepatch in the first place. How ? We don’t know, we just don’t know. Also Luxord might just steal little trinkets from everyone and stash them under his bed like the little creacher he is. If you can’t find your keys, you know who’s got em.
Marluxia :
A natural big brother figure. Very understanding too, even if you’ve heard from Larxene that he’s tired of everyone pulling his hair and that he might shave it all off just so they all stop. Yeah, there’s some lingering resentment in there. He’s 50/50 on being a little bastard and an angel.
Marluxia volunteers to help you take care of the other kids, mostly because he likes bossing others around and because he also likes reading books to Zexion and Xion so they fall asleep.
LOVES to leave trails of petals and flowers wherever he goes, but REFUSES to clean up. Always seen with Larxene - Marluxia is also lowkey competitive so he sees the Axel + Saix duo as rivals. In what, exactly ? Who knows. VERY picky with food too. Actually, just very picky and petty in general.
Larxene :
The one kid who develops a personal vendetta against you from day 1. Larxene DESPISES being told what to do, so if you’re constantly telling her not to do this, to do that and whatever, she will make your life a living hell and do the opposite out of spite.
You didn’t hear this from me, but Larxene is GENUINELY upset that she keeps accidentally zapping people whenever she plays with them. It’s really hard for her to apologize too, so you’ll have to step in a lot to de-escalate the situation.
Larxene sticks forks in outlets JUST to scare others, since she cannot get hurt at all by electricity. She just seems to enjoy making others afraid.
Roxas :
One of the youngest, Roxas doesn’t KNOW what “using your indoor voice” means, he’s either DEAD quiet or SCREAMING about how he’d like to have ice cream as a treat, please and thank you. It’s really fucking funny to see honestly. Just make sure he doesn’t sneak up on you and scare you shitless.
The type who gets dragged into shenanigans rather than cause them - he’s a very neutral and calm kid otherwise. The worst thing he can do is just steal everyone’s dessert or something because of that intense sweet tooth he’s got.
A lot of the older kids LOVE trying to get him and Xion to laugh, because Roxas has this permanent poker face AND because they both have really funny snort giggle laughs.
Xion :
Also one of the youngest, very sweet, patient and polite ! Xion also tends to be very clingy, always needing to hold hands with someone whenever she walks around Castle Oblivion. No one has the heart to tell her no, either.
Can get VERY VERY irritating and angry when someone tries to make fun of her or Roxas. Like a little hurricane of puppies - Xion won’t stop pestering all the meanies until she’s received a proper apology. If she somehow ends up hurting someone, she’ll insist on making up too.
Xion also tends to copy people she likes, similar to Demyx. You might catch her imitating your movements or way of speaking, or even copying the Dusks’ movements - but just make sure she doesn’t see you, Xion will explode out of embarrassment.

What’s your opinion on pre-canon Renruki?
I think that they already had a romantic or almost romantic relationship back in the Academy, maybe even back in Rukongai, and the reason it wasn’t explicit is because firstly it would have spoiled the endgame couples, and secondly it’s a shonen, so it’s implied.
I think they fooled around when they were orphans in Inuzuri. They grew up together, they were always together in their “teenage” years (however adolescence works for souls😅), I think it’s not impossible that they had their first experience, if just their first kiss and make out session, with each other. When they joined the Academy, they spent less time together due to their different courses, and I think Rukia’s sad expression when Renji leaves for the mission in the real world depicts that (along with worry for him, and maybe even jealousy for his achievements compared to hers). By then I think they were quite intimate, they fooled around sometimes (with the little time they had) and knew the other’s and their own feelings, but never said anything like “I love you”, or talked seriously about the depth of their relationship. If they were “just friends”, as some antis like to claim, they wouldn’t have been so heartbroken, have so many regrets and felt so guilty during their separation. And why that separation in the first place? It’s not a matter of class difference, because Rukia did talk to people of inferior status, like her Squad mates. What’s actually forbidden to people from different classes is relationships. If Renruki was just a friendship, there would have been no problem, but their bond was beyond that. Rukia wanted Renji to tell her to stay with him, but his feelings of inferiority and belief that Rukia deserved better (maybe even better than him) prevented him to do it. Their separation doesn’t feel like an end to a friendship to me, it feels like a breakup. They avoided each other because it hurt so much, and they couldn’t bear to have any relationship other than a romantic one, which was impossible once she became a Kuchiki.
After the Soul Society arc, they got back together. They were physically too comfortable around each other to be just friends, like when he basically hugged her to encourage her to go back to Soul Society when Orihime is kidnapped (and maybe he was also comforting her), or when, during the fight with the Fullbringers, he casually placed her head resting on his thigh. By then they were secretly dating, in my opinion. In the last arc they were always together, it’s so easy imagining them as a couple.
What do you think? Is my interpretation far fetched? I’d like to hear your theories about their feelings, when they blossomed, when they confessed, if they had something going on during their Academy years…
Thank you if you decide to answer!🤍
Well, as you say, Bleach is a shounen, and also I don’t think Kubo was particularly interested in including romance in the story, so I don’t think there is a correct or incorrect interpretation. It’s left to the reader to imagine what they like. I don’t think “spoiling the endgame” has anything to do with anything.
I don’t think your interpretation is “too far-fetched,” although I don’t happen to agree with it. There’s very little to go on in canon, people can fill in the gaps in whatever way makes them happy/makes sense to them. I have exactly 0 interest in arguing with people on the internet about stuff like this. I enjoy reading fanfiction that has wildly different interpretations from my own, I generally love to hear a variety of ideas, although I generally prefer the format of a narrative over Tumblr posts (funny, since I do seem to write a lot of them).
Anyway, here are a bunch of opinions. This is way, way too long, so I'm gonna throw it under a cut.
That being said, you have some really amatonormative ideas in there that I do take issue with. Friendships absolutely can be as deep and important as romantic relationships. I categorically reject the idea that a romantic bond is stronger than a friendship one or that acts of physical affection necessarily imply a romantic relationship. I actually have no beef at all with people who want to read Rukia and Renji’s story as a very strong friendship. I do think it was still reasonable for Renji to avoid her during their separation, even if his goal wasn’t romance. He wanted to see her live a better life, and didn’t want to drag her down. Yeah, sure, if he just wanted to be a casual workplace friend, he probably could have joined Squad 13 and seen her once in a while. But, especially in the early days, it would have been a bad look for Rukia to continue socializing with people deeply below her station, and I feel in my heart that Byakuya would have forbidden her from seeing Renji if he found out she was hanging out with someone from her Inuzuri days, even if it was just casual. Yeah, there exist people who say Rukia and Renji are "just friends" for the sake of other preferred ships, but also, like, so what? Who cares? That’s a lot better than making Renji out to be a bad person or trashing his character. To be honest, I am generally happy to read a fanfic that had some other Renji or Rukia pairing if it actually contained some solid Renruki best friend content (I have found a few 369 fics that do this, and maybe also in the little bit of RenIchi content I have read, so, uh, good job, my gays. This is sometimes touched on in ByaRen fics, but usually not as much as I want, althought I also tend to hold these to a high bar, because if I have to deal with Byakuya in my fanfics, they should have to deal with the Rukia-Renji friendship 😂)
Anyway, you asked for my interpretation, so here it is . These are all just, like, my opinions, man:
Life in Inuzuri just really, really, really sucks, and Rukia and Renji both have a lot of trauma and emotional hang-ups from that time. I think they forged a deep emotional connection during this time that was probably a little too codependent to actually be healthy. They had no models of healthy families or relationships. I also think they were incredibly close to Fujimaru, Kosaburou, and Mameji, and that even if they wanted to have a romantic relationship, they wouldn’t have, at the risk of ruining the more important bonds of the larger group.
In my fanfic, in their last days in Inuzuri, I do have them fool around for a brief period. It coincides with the deterioration of the bond with their last surviving friend, leading to his death. I did this for trauma reasons, because that’s how writers are.
“Communication” is probably the most important theme in my writing, and a thing I bring up all the time is that young Rukia and Renji had a thousand ways of communicating survival-based things between each other, and 0 ways of communicating how they felt about each other.
I did a post on this recently, but their whole gang was incredibly powerless in Inuzuri. They lived on the fringes of society and stole scraps to survive. I think that their number one duty to one another was to survive. In the anime, Rukia swears that she will never leave Inuzuri, that she will always stay with her friends. I think the reason she does an about-face is not just because their friends are gone, but because she realizes that she will lose Renji next, and the only way to prevent that is for both of them to get stronger. Neither of them actually wants to become a soul reaper. They do it for each other.
I think that Renji would have remained in Inuzuri and tried to make a life as best they could, but Rukia knew this was futile, and where Rukia goes, Renji follows.
I think they purposely maintained distance at the Academy. Just as in Inuzuri, their primary duty to one another is to survive and thrive. They were rejected and mocked for their low origins, and hanging out together would have made this worse. I think it hurt Rukia that Renji made new friends, but on the other hand, they were exactly the sort of people who would help him get a leg up in the Gotei. Rukia’s Academy days were very painful because she saw Renji succeeding, just as she wanted, but leaving her behind in the process. Conversely, Renji got super focused on doing well, with the idea that he could pull Rukia up behind him, except for the part where he never actually told her that.
I feel like I’m in the minority here, but so much fanfic focuses on Rukia and/or Renji being wrong” in the scene where he tells her to go to the Kuchiki, but I disagree! Everything they have done is in order to get to a better life! It is Renji’s duty to encourage her to leave him behind. He doesn’t want to be an anchor holding her down. Likewise, Rukia knows that if she doesn’t go, she’s just gonna be a burden on him. Their relationship has always been about each of them surviving separately over having happiness together. Up to now, they’ve always managed to find each other again, although this kinda looks like it might be it for them. Do these kids need to go to therapy? Yes! Did they do anything wrong? No!
I think about this a lot, but even if Rukia had turned down the adoption (which… I’m not actually sure she could have), even the offer would have ruined their relationship. Imagine that Renji asks her to stay, and she does. Maybe they even get together at this point. Every rough patch, every time there’s money troubles, this spectre of “Rukia could have been a Kuchiki” is going to hang over them. In fiction, there is often an idea of sacrifice being a one-time romantic gesture, but in my real life experience, this sort of thing hangs around like an unwanted ghost. I can, in fact, envision a scenario where this is exactly how Aizen manages to get his hooks in Renji, by offering Rukia an unseated spot in Squad 5, even though she “isn’t really good enough to deserve it” and “taking care of them.”
I am really fascinated with Rukia’s crush on Kaien/Miyako. Bold proclamation here, but I think there is something developmentally healthy about young people having crushes on the older people in their lives, provided that said older people treat them with respect and dignity and don’t take advantage of it in any way. Crushes are, by their nature of being unreciprocated, a safe way for young folks to imagine the sort of people and relationships they want to have in their lives. I headcanon Rukia as bisexual, and maybe also a little bit genderfluid, and she had these two extremely cool people in her life, whom she maybe wanted to be and maybe wanted to kiss and maybe to have a marriage like that some day. I… like to think that their role in her life healed some of her trauma before their death caused even more.
Fully into headcanons now, but I like to think that Renji had a parallel experience, with, of all people, Ikkaku and Yumichika. Like him, they came from the ass-end of Rukongai, but they stuck together instead of bowing to the social mores of the Seireitei. It is critical to note that they were able to do this through strength. This is literally not a thing that Renji and Rukia could have done, but at the same time, Renji sees this as the kind of relationship he wants to have with a partner. He doesn’t want to look after Rukia and protect her, he wants to fight back-to-back with her and then make out afterwards. He’s still convinced that he needs to go through the proper class channels to see Rukia again, but without their influence, I don’t think he ever would have been able to say “fuck it” and turn on his captain during the Soul Society Arc.
Meeting Ichigo and dealing with his unreasonable need to protect everyone he cares about, personally, was also a huge blow to Rukia and Renji’s “I cannot allow the other person to take any risks for my sake” hang-up. Ichigo has his own traumas, which are entirely different from Renruki’s, but the one thing he had was growing up in a loving family. (Isshin has his problems, but I feel strongly that he always made his kids feel like his love was unconditional). I’m not saying that making friends with a shounen protagonist is a good replacement for therapy, but it does have healing properties.
Entirely off-topic, but I feel like Ichigo is incredibly selfish in the way of Terry Pratchett’s witches: “All witches are selfish, the Queen had said. But Tiffany’s Third Thoughts said: Then turn selfishness into a weapon! Make all things yours! Make other lives and dreams and hopes yours! Protect them! Save them! Bring them into the sheepfold! Walk the gale for them! Keep away the wolf! My dreams! My brother! My family! My land! My world! How dare you try to take these things, because they are mine!
Where were we? Oh, yeah. I honestly think that it is unknowable when in canon Rukia and Renji confessed. I already covered this pretty thoroughly in this post. I hate the idea that they were secretly dating. Renji worked incredibly hard to get his post and I think that both his job and Byakuya’s respect are very important to him. I do not think he would put either of those things at risk like that, nor would Rukia want him to. I tend to prefer a slow-burn approached, and I honestly think they got together during the 17-mo timeskip at the earliest, and more likely post-canon entirely, although I think them confessing in the Royal Realm is the spiciest possible outcome, so that’s what most of my fanfic cleaves to.
#renruki#did tumblr increase number of characters you can have in an ask?#i was honestly surprised when i opened this one and saw how long it was

If requests are still open, May i request a Drabble to where Forsyth is having too much at it with the food in Alms convoy. (Especially during battle) That he soon ends up to a point where he can no longer support his terms of moving and having python sticking around to just rather tease and help him out. Thanks! ^^
War and everything that came with it was difficult enough, but with the Rigelians having collected so much of the Zofian people’s hard earned food for themselves, and the decline of the Kingdom’s lands on account of losing Mila’s protection, it was made even worse by the Deliverance’s lack of rations. It was rare that they didn’t have to limit what people took from the convoy, and more often than not, someone was set up to guard what little they had -- just in case.
Forsyth had served plenty of hours as a guard for the convoy; not just to safeguard their food, but their weapons and armor as well. If they didn’t protect their supplies, and one of their clashes with the Empire destroyed or otherwise lost them, the Deliverance would be dealt a final death blow. It was a job that he took seriously, even if he would have preferred to be on the field of battle with Sir Clive and Alm. There wasn’t much notoriety to be won from staying towards the rear to guard the supplies, but there was still a knightly honor to protecting the continued survival of his comrades in this way.
Python, of course, didn’t share the same views. Whenever it was his turn to play guard, Forsyth often caught him napping or simply not staying vigilant. And, when confronted about his lack of enthusiasm for the work, would blithely state that they had never had their supplies targeted -- and why would they, when they had so little?
It was aggravating, but it wasn’t really anything new. Forsyth was happy to jump to Clive’s or Alm’s orders, and Python was...less so. It hardly mattered, if it came down to him covering for his old friend’s shifts on guard, he would do so for the good of the Deliverance!
It was easy enough at first. Forsyth was determined to show his strengths -- be it in battle, or elsewhere. He patrolled and frequently double checked their supplies, he even maintained the weaponry and armor that they had in reserves when he had the time. It kept him busy and on task for quite a while, but, eventually, the boredom started to get to him. And, what made the boredom worse, was the gnawing hunger that came with being stuck with an unreliable food source and being forced to remain by that food but unable to have any of it. It took a great deal of his willpower to keep himself on task.
However, one day, Forsyth caved -- much to his great shame.
It hadn’t been much, truthfully. Just a bit of dry bread to fill his achingly empty stomach. It had felt good in the moment -- it had been tough to swallow down on its own, just a step above stale, but a drizzling of honey had made it easier to wolf down. Despite it only being a mouthful or two, it felt like the bread took up so much space in his belly -- of course, some of this was due to a lack of regular eating, but also the building guilt of taking something that had not been rationed out to him. It didn’t take long, Forsyth stewing in his guilt for several hours as he stood guard, for him to think of a way to replace what he had taken. A hunter he was not, but he’d read in a book somewhere about trapping techniques, and vowed to teach himself this skill in order to pay back what he had unrightfully taken.
It took him over a week, but he managed to catch himself a rabbit to add to the stock of food they had. It had been scrawny, but it was something all the same. He hadn’t really thought of keeping up the habit of trapping; it was hard to set up and check them when they were on the move, and with the odd changes in the land, there weren’t as many animals around to easily hunt. But, it seemed that someone else had taken notice of what he had done, as when he went to tally up everything one evening, there were some additions. A couple of fruit, a few small birds. It was small things, things found as they marched on from place to place. Still, it was odd, but Forsyth kept it to himself in case him bringing it up to anyone else might scare the mysterious procurer off.
It was more important that they have more supplies than it was to go off trumpeting about this anyway.
And if he swiped one of the fruits, popping it into his mouth easily, it was also not spoken of.
Things went on as such. Every week or so, Forsyth would find more and more getting added to their stores of food -- most notably when he was scheduled to be on guard duty. Whoever was behind this had an obvious motive of getting his attention. Upon first realizing this, he stubbornly avoided any of the food. But, it was hard to avoid the temptation forever when it was right there, begging to be taken and practically gift wrapped just for him. He fought off the urge to sneak food for as long as he could, but once again, the bite of hunger had him nicking some of the smaller morsels that he could quickly and cleanly gobble down without much fear of their disappearance being noticed.
This was, of course, a slippery slope. One or two small things turned into half of something a bit bigger, and then all of that slightly bigger thing, which evolved into him simply taking whatever additional and non-reported food items suddenly appeared when he checked.
It was a guilty pleasure in every sense of the phrase. Guilt for taking more than his fair share, but pleasure from how the food tasted and filled up his growling stomach. And it didn’t take long for that temporary full stomach to start developing into something more…
While Forsyth had never been incredibly muscular, he also hadn’t been scrawny either. However, this very middle of the road physique made it very obvious that all the extra food he was getting into wasn’t being worked off.
His face had filled out a little bit, the hint of a double chin coming in. His shoulders had rounded with soft pudge that lead into pillowy arms, the soft flesh of his upper arms squishing out of his short-sleeved tunic like overstuffed sausages from their stressed casings. His chest had softened and plumped up significantly, giving Forsyth embarrassingly hand-overfilling moobs that would peak out the edges of his breastplate -- at least, back when he could still get his fitted armor on. While he wasn’t as heavily armored as some, his climbing weight made it near impossible to wear most of it regardless.
Even without his growing chest taking up space, Forsyth’s belly had gone from lean to something quite tremendous. The more food he snuck away into his stomach, the more fat accumulated on his middle and the hungrier he got; an endless cycle of stuffing himself with the growing amount of extra food in their supplies. This only caused his stomach to balloon further out as the days wore on. Where it had first started off as just a slight pooch to his middle, it quickly grew large enough to make it impossible to wear his breastplate and severely stressed his clothes, and it only kept growing from there. His gut was marred with angry red marks from his burgeoning growth, his belly button deep enough to sink your fingers in to the knuckle; its sheer mass swayed in a chaotic rhythm whenever he lumbered about, meaty slaps sounding from his underbelly as it smacked against his thighs.
The one thing he could be somewhat thankful for was that his lower half hadn’t been hit too hard by his gorging. While his ass had certainly bumped up in size, it wasn’t anywhere near as noticeable as his middle or even his tits. His thighs were chunky and they brushed up against each other whenever he moved, but their malleable bulk didn’t get too much in the way.
Really, the big problem was simply how heavy he was, and how utterly out of shape he’d managed to become. It was a complete shame, and Forsyth couldn’t even be bothered to hide his embarrassment as he’d practically eaten himself clear out of his dream to become a knight on the same level as Sir Clive. He still did what he could to aid the Deliverance on the battlefield, but it was becoming increasingly difficult. He’d huff and puff at the back of their forces, rarely if ever managing to take out any of the enemy, but still plodding along as best he could for what little was left of his honor and pride.
Honestly, the worst of trying to fight at his size came when he simply hit his limit of endurance, his weight dragging him down to the dusty earth with a gasp and a wheeze. Coming to his aid had been none other than Python, his aim true as ever as he shot the Empire soldier who had been looking to capitalize on Forsyth’s collapse.
“Hey there, big fella, need some cover?” Python drawled as he idly checked to make sure the soldier was down for good, tacking on a slightly snide, “A whole lotta cover, nowadays, huh?”
Forsyth would have argued with him, but he was out of breath and awfully hungry; they’d been marching for some time before this skirmish even broke out, and he’d not had time to fill up on his usual breakfast staples. “Spare me your attitude, Python,” he huffed out, leaning back in order to suck in larger breaths and not feel like his gut was crushing his lungs as he did so.
Python merely gave him a smarmy sort of look, posture lazy as he surveyed the battle pushing on without them.
“Y’know, they probably wouldn’t even notice if the two of us went back to camp. I’ve done...most of my share of the work out here, and you sure seem like you need to sit your fluffy self down and have a rest,” the bowman continued, already sauntering around his porcine friend’s side to shove at his -- soft, plush, squishy -- back like he was some sort of farm animal in need of a little motivation to get up and moving.
Forsyth was beside himself with how that fact wasn’t too far off now.
“We cannot just leave our comrades on their own--” he began to chide irately, grunting and making all sorts of ungodly sounds as he struggled his way back to his aching feet with Python’s less than helpful help. Forsyth was sure the man had prompted all this just in order to watch him flounder about like a ridiculously fat fish out of water.
“Ah, don’t worry about them. They’re totally fine without us,” Python hummed, rummaging around for a quick moment in order to produce something he’d been saving for just the right moment -- which this seemed to be. A sweet, sugar dusted berry tart that he’d haggled for in the last town over. He carefully waved the treat in Forsyth’s face, watching amusement as the green clad man almost started to drool at the mere sight of the little sweetie.
Check and mate. He could spend the rest of the time watching Forsyth stuff his chubby face and not do a lick of work back at base camp while the others cleaned up on the battlefield.
A real win-win in Python’s opinion.
#fattyemblem#male weight gain#male wg#chubby!forsyth#this feels like its probably wildly ooc#but i still havent gotten back into echoes & i barely got to see much of python or forsyth whoops#but i hope its enjoyable regardless!!!

Ectober Day 18: Whispers - A Strange Kind Of Ferality Chap. 1: Hushed Voices To End Mundane Life
People say a lot of things, and they’ll speak the most about the strange and usual. Sometimes words make living normal impossible for those who are not normal.
For Danny’s own sake he always tried to avoid paying attention to the whispers. Or simply not being around for people to start making them. They always made his paranoia war with itself. If he paid attention their hushed words it would make him paranoid. If he ignored them he’d be paranoid about what they could be saying and wanting to find out. And sometimes he actually did need to know.
So, if he’s honest, sometimes super ghost hearing kind of sucked.
In the beginning they weren’t so bad. Always about simple things or things that didn’t matter all too much. Sure sometimes they hurt or annoyed him, but what did Danny care that everyone thought his parents were weird and crazy? They weren’t really wrong and Sam’s right, weird’s good. Danny considers himself an example of that.
‘I still can’t believe those lunatics were even allowed to keep those kids’.
‘I heard they perform weird experiments, probably only themselves too’.
‘What if they kill someone to prove their theories?’.
But like all young teens, eventually he stepped out of his parents' shadow, the whisperings around town became more about him. But when it came mostly from teachers and judgemental adults, Danny couldn’t even attempt to bring himself to care. Sure he wanted people proud of him as Fenton, but being the hero always came first. If his grades and ‘good kid’ status had to suffer then so be it.
‘He used to be so bright, now he’s just another problem child’.
‘Oh look it’s the little ‘baddie’ thinking he’s cool or whatever for breaking stuff’.
‘I think the weirdo Fenton kid is missing a bladder or something...experiment gone wrong you think?’.
When it really started to bug Danny, is when people started noticing he was seemingly involved in ghosts without being involved in ghosts.
‘Why’s he always around? Does he just like seeing the end results?’.
‘I’m pretty sure I saw Fenton running AT a ghost fight actually’.
‘I overheard some ghosts talking about him. Thought it was about Phantom at first but they mentioned his ‘hunter parents’. Pretty obvious who the town’s hunter parents are’.
But that sort of thing was easy enough to pass off, to explain, and for people to simply shrug off. They were the curious kinds of whispers not the concerned or secretive kinds of whispers. But when his body became the focus, that’s when he knew there was going to be trouble and when he started pulling away from people, from the public. After all, there’s only so much baggy sweaters and loose clothing can cover. And wearing that all the time was suspicious in and of itself. What was worse was that he was actively proud of what all his hero work had earned him in both physique and scars. And sometimes bodies just naturally wanted to show off, even if he pushes it down as best as possible.
‘Dude, did you see Fenton stretching? The Hell has he been doing all summer to look like that?’.
‘I saw Todd throw a pencil at the back of his head, he caught it without even turning around’.
‘I saw down his shirt and there’s this nasty scar. It’s like someone tried to murder him or something. Think he’s in a gang or some shit?’.
And it was obvious at this point, to Danny, that people were only going to notice more. Which they did. People were curious things, they were hooked on his oddness. He always did his best to hide his more ghostly features. Grew his hair out to cover his tapered ears, started a habit of wearing beanies. But hats couldn’t always stay on and hair moved. Made a habit of always covering his mouth when he yawned, only ate small foods in public, drank through straws. The thing his friends found the saddest is that he had to stop laughing so damn much, though he’d often just covered his mouth instead. But people notice when behaviours change like that and people will always be able to catch glimpses. His nails were the easiest, simple trim every morning. But even trimmed they were still just a little too sharp. So he developed the habit of not touching people, but a hero’s fighting instincts and ghost instincts were strong things. Sometimes he really couldn’t help grabbing Dash’s arms when he tried to choke him or drag him somewhere. That didn’t go unnoticed.
‘The little freak scratched me. And look at this shit? It looks like a damn cat scratch. The Hell?’.
‘I managed to get the cafeteria to serve burgers right? Fenton loves those things and, I swear to you, he had FANGS’.
‘So I punched the locker next to his face, yeah? Teach the loser who runs this school. But I think his ear scratched me. HIS EAR. How is that even possible?’.
At least stuff like that, he really could pass off as body modification. People did that. Which his how he quelled his paranoia back then. So long as he had an easy excuse it was easy. But it was inevitable that people would eventually notice his ‘angry eyes’ problem or his ghost sense. It was honestly a miracle they didn’t in the very beginning. Though both him and even his parents, simply passed off those rumours as being because of his strange ecto-contamination. People still whispered. Especially about his eyes.
‘Walked into the bathroom and I swear, the kids' eyes were glowing as he stepped out of a stall’.
‘Half the time I go after him he does that damn eye-trick thing for a split second. It’s like he’s trying to be some scary ghost or something. It’s pathetic really’.
‘Honestly, I just avoid looking at his face now. It’s just so creepy. Especially if you think over how he probably got that. His parents are scientists! He’s probably, like, Frankenstein’s monster or something’.
But when people started whispering about behaviours, pointedly not human behaviours, that’s when Danny’s paranoia really came to a head. He couldn’t just not snarl and growl. It came too easily. And being around Sam and Tucker more than the rest of society came with its down falls. He could be himself around them, he got comfortable being himself around them. But that made it easier to slip up in public. Sometimes they tried to call him on it, but often that just ran the risk of people being more likely to notice. Then there was the compounded problem. Snarls required showing teeth. Sounds made people look. One thing getting noticed leads to other things getting more noticed. Whispers compounding.
‘He holds his hands like claws half the time, pretty sure he actually extended claws once’.
‘He came in this morning snarling and bearing those damn fangs at the floor for, like, two whole periods. Even my dog doesn’t do that’.
‘I bumped into that Fenton kid on the street, you know the one. Short and kind of acts like a feral animal. Yeah, well, pretty sure he growled at me and there’s was this weird glow to his face’.
But at least even those whispers could be passed off. Teens acted weird, that was considered a fact by adults. The fact that there were wolf packers, kids who like to pretend to be werewolves and in a pack, helped. Everyone knew those kids ran around howling and would growl at people. But it didn’t help him that they kept trying to make him ‘one of them’. Sure it would be a nice cover story but it would draw more attention to him. Especially since people already thought his snarls and growls were more ‘real’.
‘Okay dude, look at this. So I recorded Fenton when Dash tried punching him yesterday. And look, I put it next to my dog snarling. Fenton sounds more animalistic, and like, look how Fenton holds his mouth? It’s the same, more aggressive even’.
‘My night was not fun, I got woken up but what I could have sworn was coyotes fighting, but no. It was that creepy Fenton kid and some biker dude getting in each other’s faces’.
‘I’m positive he was just about to bite you. And not like those cringy kids with the weird lunging bit they do’.
But of course, of course, that lead to them really noticing. Noticing things he himself didn’t. Which was far far more worrying. How could he hide something if he wasn’t even the first to notice? Sam and Tucker too used to him to notice the gradual change themselves. And once others picked up on it, even one, it was pretty well too late. It fell into the gossip mill and then everyone was looking for it. About reflexes and senses. Even his paranoia was being noticed.
‘He literally never opens any doors while in-front of them. Like he’s about to be attacked or something’.
‘We need code words for the freak. Pretty sure he can hear us. And look! See! His ears damn twitched! He totally can’.
‘I’m not sure if I’m happy or terrified. I nearly ran over the Fenton boy, should have slammed straight into his back. But he fucking backflipped over my car, the entire damn thing, at the last second. How the Hell’.
But when the whispers became dangerous. Got him fully avoided. Got the G.I.W. to come knocking. He knew he didn’t really have much of a choice anymore. He had to leave. Not fully, no, just a town away. Just hide, a name change here, style change there. Seems people could deal with weird. Didn’t really care about it other than it was good gossip. Until they started putting things together, until they started to feel like you were a wolf and they were sheep. The bad part was, they weren’t wrong. And like all ghosts, Danny has pride. He, by his very nature, wanted fear, to scare, to alarm. And that always got harder to hide, to ignore. But the body and mind have ways of getting around its own barriers. Doing things so subtle you might not notice at all. All it took was slight changes in posture, how his eyes looked, how he moved. And he became a predator amongst prey.
‘Is it just me or does Fenton look like he’s actively stalking people? Like a cat or something? It’s really damn creepy’.
‘He stares, like constantly. He just doesn’t blink enough and he seems to scan rooms. Like there’s some threat, it makes me feel uncomfortable. But what’s worse is how he looks over everyone, scans them over, it’s like he’s picking out prey or something’.
‘I swear the freak can tell when people are looking at him. Like just watch, his posture will change. Slightly tense like he’s about run off. And you can easily see his face and hands, he’s being threatening. It pisses me off that it works’.
Of course, his friends would never let him skip town on his own. It was only a lucky thing they were off in university by this time and he was perfectly content to keep them in the dark. Besides, if they up and ran off too. People would whisper.
And looking around, that’s one thing he likes about bigger cities. Even more so when you looked all for the world like a battered, easily ignored, poorly dressed, homeless man. When people whispered it wasn’t anything to be alarmed about.
‘Poor man, wonder when the last time he washed was’.
‘Gross, I really wish this damn city would clean up the filth. How can I let my daughter walk around with people like that just sleeping on the sidewalk’.
‘Hmpf, probably just another damn druggie’.
But of course that would change.
‘Wait...he’s not actually sleeping? Weird’.
He’d have to watch himself more.
‘Oh holy shit, that bastards got fangs?!?’.
He’d have to move around more.
‘Don’t go downtown, there’s some creepy predatory guy there. He hasn’t hurt anyone from what I hear, but it’s all in how he moves. In his eyes’.
People would eventually actively start seeking him out, a mystery to solve.
‘Dude, we have to steal his bag. I heard some kids from the park did and he reacted like a feral dog or some shit’.
Connections would be made, people would start to feel unsettled or scared
‘Destruction seems to follow that one. Keep your distance’.
And he’d have to pack, leave in the dead of night.
‘His eyes, you can see them in the dark. Pretty sure they’ll follow you too. Whatever he is, he sure as Hell isn't a human’.
Of course, he made sure he found his way back to Amity, as Fenton, here and there. Especially when his friends got back. But the downfall of leaving, of running off. Is that it was impossible for people to not notice his return. And being alone for so long would make anyone act less human, less socially normal. For someone who wasn’t actually entirely human, you might as well just write normal off as a lost cause.
‘James! James! That Fenton boy’s back! He snarled at someone’s dog. Should we do something?’.
‘How is he more off? He’s so...twitchy. Like he’s constantly on the edge of trying to murder someone or something’.
‘He came into the cafe and he just stared around for a while. Then he drank nothing but espresso shots and I’m sure he ate a spoon. He even clacked his teeth at me after ordering’.
So yeah, the G.I.W. would come. He’d wind up getting tracked. But Amity was his and that wasn’t ever-changing and he was a goddamn force to be recond with. And his friends would come back, they would take him by the arms and all three would slingshot at the future. Like always. Because, after all, Fenton wasn’t the only one people whispered about.
‘Okay, I’m pretty sure that goth is actually a witch. Summoning ghosts and shit. ‘Cause they’re always near her’.
‘She has a pet Venus-flytrap in her purse, it bit me’.
‘I swore she ran through a fire just to throw her boot at someone for insulting that freaky Fenton’.
‘If that technofreak is visiting the bank then no way am I. I heard he got put on a watch list for hacking a plane, twice’.
‘He scaled a thirty-story building just to clean his windows, who does that?’.
‘I walked in on him making out almost aggressively with a PDA...he growled at me’.
Because really? If you spend enough time around the glaringly inhuman, you’ll lose your human aspects too. So Danny’s not exactly surprised when they decide to hit the road with him. They’ll always come back, of course they will, and maybe they’ll find some other towns they love as they go. But at least being able to make portals now will mean they can go as far as they like, without Phantom ever being far away from the town he protects.

Could I get a matchup for BNHA? I’m a really tall 20 year old straight girl. I’ve got dark hair & dark eyes. I’m in college right now and I’m too obsessed with doing well in school...I spend most of my time playing animal crossing and talking with friends. I’m empathetic and soft hearted and lowkey pretty shy. Like I’ve still got my weenie hut jr. membership card and I really just want everyone around me to feel loved. Anyway, I really LOVE your writing so keep doing what you’re doing!!
Aw!! You’re so sweet and I WANT ACNH SO BAD BUT I DON’T HAVE A SWITCH HHHHH
I think you’d best suit…
Tomura Shigaraki!
Okay, hear me out, at first I thought you’d be PERFECT for Tamaki, but then I thought about it further-
Tamaki needs someone confident and protective, not saying he wouldn’t work well with another timid person, but I’d find it hard for two very timid people to get together-
Thus, Shigaraki was the next answer that came to mind! He’s bold and he’s determined, but istg he’s just a soft introvert that acts like he’s all that POWER
And like, he’d love someone so adorably cute AND YOU PLAY ACNH??? YO YOU WAIT THIS MAN WILL GIVE YOU HIS WHOLE H E A R T
Ahem.
A date with Shigaraki
Honestly? You really didn’t expect this.
What you expected was hopefully a cute guy with messy hair in a beanie and a sweater. He’d have some black rimmed glasses and a backpack with lots of alien enamels, or maybe like some cute pastel pins.
The guy in front of you wore a baggy black hoodie; a mask covering the lower half of his face. He had gloves on his hands and eyes that made shivers run down your spine.
“It’s you, right?”
You nod shyly in response, looking down at your feet. “Ye-yeah. Sorry if I’m not what you expected.”
A nervous laugh escapes your lips, floating carelessly on the chilly night air. Despite your concerns about him, you knew that he was actually a chill dude when it came to it. It wasn’t good for you to judged people based on their appearance after all.
You had met him after making your island public on twitter, asking for criticism on your new layout. Truthfully? You thought it looked really good. So did most of the people who came to your island.
Iago was… Different.
He came onto your island and you welcomed him, as you do. He went straight past you and walked into the myriad of rare flowers you had arranged in a cute fashion. He stands there for a moment, typing.
Iago: Put it in bundles, it’ll be easier to water. It looks ugly when you try to put into patterns like this.
You were taken aback by his blunt attitude, but nonetheless noted the advice he gave. He then checked out the whole island, deftly picking out each and every fault, whilst asking you what style it was you really wanted to achieve.
Iago: A soft style? I have most of the spring-time recipes, that would suit it better than this… weird patio thing you’ve done.
Iago: Also, move the bench, it’s not centred. It sticks out so much it physically hurts.
His harsh words hit a nerve in you. It was just a game, and you had done really good!
Well, you thought so anyway. Who did he think he was? The AC CEO or something?
(Y/n): But I wanted it to be here so I could place the telescope.
Iago: No. It’ll look bad.
He’s silent for a moment, but a ping comes not too long later.
Iago: Come to my island, you’ll see what I mean.
You scoff. The audacity of this guy to go around like he’s got the best island out there. You’re not saying yours is the best either, but it’s pretty good, you have to admit. You blow your hair from your face.
“Whatever, let’s just go see this guy’s ‘aesthetic’ island.”
The loading screen to land gets your fingers tapping impatiently on the side of the switch. You weren’t normally a person who would have such mean thoughts, but this guy was being a dick. You held no expectation at all for his decorating abilities, honestly regretting accepting his invite in the first place.
Your character walks out of the airport and onto the docks.
Your jaw hangs open.
The island has been completely terraformed so that the cliffs he made looked like mountains. The entrance from the airport was paved in a gorgeous red tile pattern that complimented the colours of the golden roses waving to greet you. The guy doesn’t seem to notice your character just standing in place and looking around in awe.
Iago: This way, patio’s here.
You follow him down the path, only to goggle at how much detail he put into his island. His orchard was filled with each type of fruit in the game, even cherries, which you had been struggling to find. He had EVERY flower and villagers you had never seen before. His rivers were almost somehow strategically placed to ensure that you could fish to the best of your ability whilst still looking pretty.
Iago: Gimme a second, I gotta get something, stay put.
He walks into his house. You trail behind despite his orders, curious as to how he did his house.
It was like looking at the work of an interior designer. The home had a total cottage aura to it; you envied the countless amounts of items he seemed to own. He sure walked the talk, that was for sure.
Iago: I told you to stay put. You suck at instructions.
… He was a dick though.
After exploring his whole island, mentally archiving certain ideas and convincing him to give you some cherries to grow, you leave the island, excited with the creative boost rushing through you.
Almost moments on going back to your island, you get a friend request. It was him.
Thus began your game nights, tips on AC, debates on the best Pokémon and conversations on your favourite JRPGs that last for hours on end. He was a pretty geeky guy, seemingly knowing all the good games to try next or expertly playing each smash character no matter the situation. He even talked about real-life like it was a game, which you found pretty endearing, though sometimes annoying. He was passionate, determined and smart. Though there were many a time where you would see flaws in his plans, telling him a different way to do it. He was stubborn, usually dismissing your ideas, but he would then say the same idea a day later, worded differently and claimed it as his. You were simply happy he liked your idea.
Iago: Hey, you wanna meet up?
It all leads back to this very moment in time now with you, timidly staring at the ground like it was the most interesting thing you had ever seen. His eyes glanced at you from behind his pastel bue locks.
“Come on then.”
He does a one-eighty turn, hands in his hoodie pockets. Your heart thumps rapidly in your chest. You couldn’t move, even if you wanted to. He seems to notice, eyebrows screwing in frustration.
“What? Are you stuck?”
Internally, you apologise again and again. Externally, you stay in place. Something seemed… Familiar. He looked familiar.
He grabs you by the hand with a huff.
“I’ll just drag ya then.”
His hand was cold, despite being in a glove. It was adorably small, filling perfectly into yours. You dawdle behind him, trying your best to keep up with his pace. The crisp night air welcomed itself into your lungs, the smell of rain on asphalt wafting through. The stars twinkled dimly in the heavily light-polluted environment, watching, observing. Gravel crunched under your flats as he led you to god knows where.
“Sit here.”
It was a large sakura tree, branches devoid of any flowers. It was barren, but eerily beautiful. The roots curled and twisted in peculiar patterns at the base. He sat down on one of the roots, you do the same.
“It’s easier to speak here.” He says, eyes watching the late shift workers drive their cars on the highway. “It’s also… Nice… Here.”
Your breaths come out as white wisps, little baby ghosts dispersing your toxic gases into the atmosphere.
“It is.”
A silence hangs between the two of you. It was one of those rare silences that you enjoyed, just admiring the city from where you sat, it was relaxing.
“Would you join me?”
You blink, turning to him. He had taken off his mask, staring straight at you. His crimson eyes turned your blood to ice.
It was Tomura Shigaraki. That’s why you knew him.
“It’s an easy choice, I won’t force you but…” He sighed. “With me showing myself to you now, I’d need to keep your mouth shut somehow.”
You gulp as he smiles.
“Make this easy, hm? I don’t really wanna kill you, you’re actually… alright.”
He holds out his gloved hand.
“Lend yourself, to the League of Villains.”
(It’s extra long because I had some extra inspo with this one!! I hope you don’t mind ^^)

RWBY V7 Episode 12 Photo Review (Spoilers)
..................WUT
I mean….I can’t really process what happened
So let’s get this part out of the way:
The Good:
Penny and Winter are the true BFFs
Penny becoming more human is endearing to see, and it’s been interesting to see her struggle with understanding emotions against Winter, who also struggles to understand them, in a way. Penny challenging Winter but never abandoning her to join RWBY is nice, and their light conflict is very well done because it shows Penny’s growing humanity struggle against Winter’s much chillier perspective. I really like the dynamic between these two and hope they continue on in the next volume (If Winter dies too this volume I’ll ragequit RWBY), and to be honest it’s become more of a cute bond than Ruby and Penny this volume. Don’t @ me
The fights
Although a lot of the “fights” in this volume were done off screen, when there is fighting this volume it has been extremely good. The camera moves around a lot less so we get a better sense of what is going on, and the moves feel more deliberate to whoever is doing the fighting, such as Ruby and Harriet who dart around a lot, delivering only occasional blows (and Ruby taking more of the blows because she’s not as good as Harriet in hand-to-hand), while Yang and Elm go all-out lady brawl (and it’s nice to see Yang’s semblance again)
Exception: Weiss.
Weiss’ over-reliance on Summoning is making her boring to watch in fights. Seeing the 300 different ways the animators show her spinning around and waving her sword like a magic wand is getting OLD. If you’re going to have her summon all the time, fine, but stop focusing the camera on her. Just show her very distantly in the background waving her sword/wand and focus on how people fight whatever she summons.
The meh:
RWBY vs Ace Ops- welp… I didn’t think the Ace Ops were gonna lose, I thought RWBY would flee and barely get away because the Ace Ops were supposed to be the best of the best. I guess I’m glad they didn’t just go down like total chumps (except Vine- sorry dude), but apparently if you train with the Ace Ops for 6 weeks, you’re as good as them. *Shrug* Who knew? It’s like Fitness Bootcamp- Train with a soldier on an obstacle course once and you’re basically ready to become a member of Seal Team 6, right?
I wish they would have explained this a little more- maybe looping back to the discussion they had in Episode 4 about being friends vs teammates. Maybe RWBY’s personal bond gives them more incentive to win, while the Ace Ops are just going through the motions because it’s just a job to them. Plus I think Elm and Marrow’s inner conflict also maybe helped tipped the sales towards RWBY, perhaps they weren’t trying their hardest, but I wish this was a little more clear
JNPR vs Neo
It’s kind of weird that Neo didn’t incapacitate Oscar, if she was planning to try trapping JNR as well… Or maybe Oscar barely managed to get away? Regardless, Neo had the lamp, so why stick around and wait for more people to show up? The plan was for her to get the lamp FROM Oscar, not necessarily grab Oscar as well. Maybe Neo has her own agenda, which would be cool, but from this episode it looks like she completed her objective but then waited around to fight some more. Maybe getting the lamp was too easy and she likes a challenge...? Who knows (I am saying that a lot for this episode, huh?)
Cinder vs Winter and Penny
This is obviously meh because not much happened, and it’s just set up for the big final fight. With the Ace Ops incap’ed, hopefully RWBY can come in as well to finally fight Cinder directly after dancing around her in V5. I think most of this will go down probably in the Relic room because a grand fight in a cramped hospital room is hard, so I think Cinder will be able to Grimm-snatch the Winter Maiden powers and go down to the relic room, or she will incapacitate whoever does get the powers and drag them there, only to be stopped by RWBY for a big battle. However I don’t think it’ll be Winter Schnee getting the powers since it’ll take too long for the transfer device and they are out of time. I KINDA think now it might be Penny- a girl with an aura/soul- somehow she’ll receive them and it’ll be part of her becoming a real girl (like Pinocchio). Who knows? At this point who gets them is totally up in the air.
The Ugly:
I guess I was right about Tyrian escaping custody again, but it wasn’t because of Salem intervening with Grimm like I thought. It was because Robyn is a terrible person!
Robyn- Please kindly f- off:
I officially HATE Robyn the most. After teetering on a “meh-leaning-towards-general-dislike” feeling, I loathe her now and I hope she gets killed off quickly. She’s a one-dimensional generic hothead character with no personality that is purposely stuck in to create conflict. She is the good guy’s Tyrian- but Tyrian has a reason to be chaotic: He’s an insane zealot. Robyn is just a poorly written idiot.
Robyn just does stupid things that get in everyone’s way all of the time, and actively works to undermine the hero’s at each turn. She prevented the launch of Amity by stealing all the supplies, and now she is going to try and fight in the middle of a cramped ship, risking Tyrian’s escape rather than waiting 5 minutes to duke it out with Clover once Tyrian is safely in jail. The entire time they were squaring off on the ship I kept thinking “Uhm Tyrian’s right there….Tyrian is RIGHT THERE! He’s gonna get out!” Robyn is a liar. She doesn’t care about the people of Mantle, because she’s doing things that could (and did) lead to a serial killer who killed Mantle Citizens escaping.
Not to mention she could have taken Qrow’s advice and talk to Ironwood first! Literally 2 episodes ago you were saying the General had your support and now you’re like “I’LL FIGHT ANYONE, ANYWHERE. Forget talking to people to get the full details and actually following through upon that trust I claimed I had in Ironwood two episodes ago, I’m gonna risk everyone’s lives to fight this out RIGHT here!” She’s the worst!
Confrontation with Qrow and Clover-
This falls under the Ugly because, despite some good dialogue between Clover and Qrow, with Qrow expressing that he feels manipulated while Clover tries to explain his own point of view, every decision made from here on Qrow’s part is inexcusable and totally irrational.
Tyrian joins the fray and inexplicably Qrow agrees to team up with him to take down Clover because THAT can’t possibly fail spectacularly.
Tyrian suggests “putting the kid to bed” but the entire time I knew Tyrian would betray Qrow and go too far with attacking Clover because OF COURSE HE WOULD. But I thought he would sting Clover as a chance to get away, because Qrow would have to focus on getting Clover help. However, what we got was…much, much worse.
Qrow’s questionable decision making
Hey DUMMY- Why not team up with Clover first to neutralize Tyrian again, and then you and Clover can duke it out. Or you and Clover can go talk to James like you wanted to 10 minutes ago!
Oh right…because “You got a score to settle” with Tyrian because this is now a cheesy western where your ego is more important than logic.
I think his bad luck semblance is really just an idiot semblance- like occasionally his semblance makes him do stupid things, leading to horrible outcomes but he mistakenly chalks it up to “bad luck.” It’s also frustrating because this volume they were setting Qrow up to grow into a good character- someone with a lot of anger from the past who learns to cope with it, and learns to accept friendship from others. I guess that’s all over.
So, sadly, Tyrian then murders Clover. It was shocking I will say that...I actually GASPED, and it led to this really cool shot:
But the shock was partly for the wrong reason. Like I said before, I thought Qrow being a dumb-dumb would lead to Clover being injured, sure, but KILLED? Yikes! Qrow’s idiocy leading to Clover being injured would be frustrating, but not unforgivable narratively and he could learn from it. He would learn to not treat his friends as transactional, and automatically write them off when one hint of struggle happens. Qrow’s idiocy in teaming up with a serial killer and getting Clover killed kinda makes Qrow unforgivable in my book. Does CRWBY want me to hate Qrow? I guess so, especially because Clover’s dying scene didn’t exactly stick the landing and alleviate my anger towards Qrow either....
So poor dying Clover is lying there, and a visibly shaken Qrow kneels next to him. So the thought is Qrow is going to realize his horrible mistake, and dive down a pool of self-loathing: tearfully blaming himself, blaming his bad luck, APOLOGIZING, upset about how it’s all his fault, etc. Instead, he delivers (with a straight face) the weirdest line ever about James taking the fall. UHHH- WUT? You teaming up with Tyrian led to this. WHAT IS HAPPENING?!
This sucks. On several levels. Clover’s death was just plain poorly done and a good character was wasted. I really liked Clover. I thought Qrow was going to actually get a break from being shit on this entire series and finally get, at a minimum, a friend that would continue to help him grow and develop as a character, pushing Qrow to see the best in himself and stop continually hating himself. With that cut short, I of course felt super sad and emotional about Clover’s death, even to the point of almost crying.
However, I can’t pretend like a significant part of that isn’t pure frustration anger about how this episode played out. Not only did Clover’s death came about in the dumbest way, but his final words with Qrow were wasted by the weird “James will take the fall” bit.
Qrow should have blamed himself and his semblance (I mean...it actually kinda is his fault, not gonna lie), and Clover could have maybe been the ultimate friend to him, telling Qrow that it happened because Qrow was fighting for what he thought was right, and even though the outcome was horrible he shouldn’t stop fighting for what he believes in…? I dunno….ANYTHING other than “GRRR James will pay”
I can’t help but remember a mere few minutes ago.....
This episode.....woof.
In a long series, you want your hero’s to sometimes lose just to keep it interesting, and to give them something to have to crawl back from. However, what’s interesting is seeing the characters try their best, make reasonable and decent decisions and still suffer a loss, because it makes us want to continue to cheer them on and watch as they make a triumphant comeback. Seeing hero’s simply choke and fail because they make the dumbest, irrational decisions with no logical reason is just frustrating and excruciating to watch, and seeing those moments lead to other characters suffering makes your “hero’s” unlikable.
This argument was made for the V6 climax- that RWBY made a dumb decision and others suffered the consequences, making them “evil” to some hateboner watchers, but I thought this assessment was over dramatic. You have to take things in context, and literally nothing came of RWBY’s decision to steal an airship: the universe was the same as it was before with some filler in the middle. No one was injured or killed, and even the damage to the city was minimal (one roof). Clover, though, is full-on dead and that is entirely Qrow’s fault. I just can’t believe the writers put this down on paper, re-read it, and though- “yea....Someone who totally make the decision to team up with a murderer to subdue their good friend....this is gonna be GREAT.”
But who cares about the story- NEW MERCH DROPPING SOON AMIRITE?!
Ok that was a low blow, but the writing and characters inexplicably took a logical nose dive this episode, after having a lot of thought put into last episode. The characters (especially Qrow, but also Robyn and to a lesser extent Clover) could have made some reasonable and logical decisions and Clover still could have died, which would have had way more impact and made the situation seem way more hopeless. Instead we got Robyn kicking off the shitshow by being just the worst, and Qrow taking the shitshow torch and cranking it up to 11, effectively un-doing all of the development we’ve seen from him this season.
Lastly, even if you are going to have the characters completely fail at making decisions and it leads to a horrible outcome, at least stick the landing and don’t have them go off on some odd tangent about how this is someone else’s fault. *facepalm*
Overall I’d give this episode a very generous 2/10.
The 2 points is because of the decent fight animation and occasionally decent dialogue.
I’m tired...

down on almost solid ground, whisper stretches her arms up and yawns. deacon’s sleeveless shirt hardly fits on her, but it saves her from walking around the freeway in her bra. and at least maccready can look at her without his face turning beet red. or, tato red. she brings her arms down with a sigh.
no gunners remain on the freeway. even when maccready destroys the last turret, no one tries to ambush them. deacon carefully peers over the edge of the freeway and declares the second lift clear of gunners. whisper checks her pip-boy, the glow near blinding in the dark.
one in the morning. she yawns again.
the freeway isn’t exactly the safest place to bed down, but it’ll be hours before any reinforcements arrive, if any. and, frankly, it’s too far of a walk up to sunshine tidings co-op. they drag their packs, full of ammo, medical supplies, and combat armor (’how did i get roped into carrying these, too?’ maccready grouses, before she shoves more caps at him) to one of the wooden shacks the gunners lined with beds.
whisper cooks over a makeshift grill, unwrapping leftovers preserved from the night before. it’s strange. one, after they brought codsworth into the family, he was more than happy to cook; it saved whatever energy she had left from late nights and early mornings when they took home shaun. two, the cooking utensils are... lacking. awkwardly, she flips the leftovers with a scavenged knife.
‘know what you’re doing over there, partner?’
she waves her hand. ‘hush. this is a very delicate process.’
deacon hums and leans back in one of the chairs he’s drug over. maccready’s sat opposite him, cleaning her weapons. their trade, she told him, for dinner. only because she didn’t have any more gunner-stolen caps to give him, and he wouldn’t accept charity.
deacon, however, had been left to clean his own. only fair.
whisper sprinkles decades old seasoning on a hunk of meat maccready had passed over. she had eyed it, and him, and only put it on the grill when maccready had insisted (with a huff and a roll of his eyes) that it was radstag and not from the gunners.
‘and,’ she draws the word out, ‘done.’ she punctuates it with one more dash of seasoning. because it’s been hundreds of years, and why not?
maccready takes the first bite. ‘better than what i could do.’ he eats, barely chewing, washing it down with nuka cola.
deacon only gives her a shrug and a grin, like he doesn’t want to admit she did a pretty good job. and she’s the one surprised she did a pretty good job. maybe she hasn’t lost her touch. with dinner a resounding success, deacon wipes down their dishes and stows them away to be washed later.
whisper takes a sip from her flat nuka cola. ‘i don’t mean to pry, maccready. or infer that you aren’t doing your job, but...’ she lets it hang, long enough that she gets an annoyed, yeah? from him. ‘have you found anything out about kellogg?’
he downs the rest of his nuka cola and sighs. ‘yeah. hancock suggested i go talk to that detective in diamond city - ’
‘nick?’
‘uh huh. he seemed kind of skeptical at first, but when i mentioned you, he turned over all he knew.’
she smiles, softly. ‘that’s - kind of sweet.’
‘he had this big... folder, i guess, for the guy. places he’s been seen in the past few years, people that were murdered that kellogg might have killed. sh-stuff like that.
‘so that’s what i was doing, checking out those places. nothing there except maybe a dead synth or two. those creepy looking ones.’
whisper leans forward, looks up at him from her spot on the ground where she sits, cross-legged. ‘anything else?’
‘maybe. look, this sounds stupid, but i was following a trail of these old cigars and beer - ’
‘maccready the bloodhound,’ deacon mutters, just loud enough for them to hear.
‘ - and it’s actually been leading this way. i saw a few as we were heading toward the interchange.’
‘where do you think the end is, then?’
‘fort hagen.’ it’s deacon that speaks, louder, this time. she turns to him. ‘PAM, an assaultron back at hq, she’s been,’ he sighs, ‘predicting institute activity in the area.’
‘predicting.’
‘predicting,’ deacon echoes with a shrug. ‘sounds about as plausible as maccready sniffing out a trail of cigars and beer bottles, but here we are. literally, here we are. fort hagen’s - ’
‘right up the road,’ whisper says, voice airy with disbelief. the odds - she all but jumps to her feet. ‘we have to check it out. if he’s there now, because what if he moves, we might lose him - ’ her words come out fast enough to leave her breathless. she sways on her feet.
‘i don’t think that’s such a - ’ maccready starts, but deacon cuts him off, again.
‘all right.’ deacon begins to rise from his chair. ‘let’s go-ow. ow, ow, ow.’ he clutches his side, groaning in pain. whisper snaps to attention, going to him, fingers grazing where his hands hover over his ribs.
‘are you okay? what happened?’
‘i’m fine!’ he squeaks. ‘just pulled a muscle. or broke a rib. one of those.’ she pokes him. ‘ow.’
whisper sighs and kneels, using her pipboy light to examine his side, unknowingly missing a look that passes between deacon and maccready. in the light, there is a bruise, at least. when she brushes her knuckles against it, deacon sucks in his breath through his teeth.
‘i’m ready to take on a trained killer if you are, partner.’
‘tomorrow morning,’ she says. ‘well, after we rest.’ she looks over to maccready. ‘are you...?’
‘i owe you. i’m coming with you.’ he pulls his cap further down over his eyes. ‘besides, this is the most caps i’ve made in months. can’t let anything happen to my best employer.’
she grins. ‘i appreciate it.’ she tugs deacon’s shirt back down, probably a little too roughly. not that he doesn’t deserve it - she knows what he’s doing. still, eager as she is, she knows she can’t take on kellogg by herself. ‘wake me up for watch, will you?’
deacon grins down at her. ‘ab-so-lutely.’
-
she wakes in the late morning, deacon sleeping in the bed next to her. when she wanders outside the shack, it’s to maccready finishing up his watch. whisper rubs at her eyes, half annoyed, half grateful.
‘his idea.’ maccready points over her shoulder at deacon.
‘and how’s the rib, partner?’ she asks, leaning against the door frame.
he stretches, lifting his arms straight up, then tilting side to side. ‘all healed. the wonders of modern medicine.’
they eat breakfast in near-silence. it’s not nearly as heavy as dinner was, just enough to satisfy their hunger and the butterflies in their stomachs. they’re going after a mercenary that leaves no survivors. except one.
‘i’ve been wondering,’ maccready speaks, mouth full of food. ‘what is it with you two?’ he uses his spoon to point at her. ‘you’ve got a ring, but he doesn’t. and that’s a lot of caps going to waste just to look fancy.’
deacon turns to her with a shrug. whisper twists the wedding ring on her finger. ‘have you ever been married, maccready?’
it startles him into silence. and perhaps that’s shame coloring his cheeks, but she keeps her face carefully neutral. harmlessly curious.
‘once,’ he says, eventually.
she doesn’t answer his question.
-
deacon and maccready force her into their scavenged combat armor. when she fights, they compromise on just a chest piece. it’s the only one they have, but they help her buckle into it, regardless.
whisper leads the way up to fort hagen, following the broken road. outside, the fort is littered with debris and branches from the surrounding dead bushes. vines climb the concrete walls, covering faded banners in the colors of the american flag. a metal statue head mounted over the front door stares them down, eyes dead and cold. above all else, the area surrounding the fort is suspiciously empty; devoid of life or even signs of it. no animals, no raiders, no ferals. kept safe and secure. maccready stashes their extra pieces of armor in a nearby bush for safe keeping.
deacon points out a set of turrets on the rooftop, so they keep their heads down and duck near the stairs until they’re completely out of sight. the front doors are barricaded, not only with sandbags stacked waist high but heavy pieces of plywood braced from the inside.
they follow around the west side of the building and down into the basement of a small parking garage. whisper tries the door, twisting the knob and pushing slowly, waiting for the sound of any kind of trap -
nothing.
the door leads straight into an ascending set of stairs. whisper leads, deacon behind her, with maccready on the other side of the stairs. they step around even more debris, loose rock and concrete and scattered tin cans. at the first landing, the room opens up into a hallway and a larger room, along with more stairs to their right. but in front of her is a wall mounted terminal connected to a dormant protectron.
‘cover me. i want this thing to go in first.’
deacon braces himself against the nearest doorway while maccready stays at the top of the stairs. the sound of the keys clacking as she accesses the terminal sounds impossibly loud in the silence. she waits, but nothing comes rushing out at them, so she continues. a few more keystrokes and she’s got the protectron running, the monotone robotic voice chiming, protectron on duty.
whisper backs up, allowing it to take the stage.
not five steps into the next room, the protectron is swarmed by synths. the same plastic-looking, yellow dead-eyed stare from the switchboard. however, the protectron holds its own, frying two synths and literally disarming a third before it breaks apart under a hail of blue laser fire. sweeping through the rest is easy enough with the amount of cover they manage to find, from large chunks of fallen pieces of ceiling to turned over desks.
further inside, they move around the bodies of synths they leave behind and the scraps from the looted fort. in the centuries its stood, all that’s left are the repeating red, white, and blue banners and faded trifolded american flags. the fort, crumbling more from the inside than the out, has become a maze. instead of going easily from room to room, they have to follow a path through the fort using holes in the walls.
they manage to spot a turret hidden in the corner of an office before it can spot them, blowing it and their position, alerting three more synths. the synths themselves go down easily; despite being all metal and plastic, they aren’t sturdy. what makes them dangerous is their killer accuracy. she’s thankful for that combat armor deacon and maccready forced her into when laser fire skims her chest, only singing the front of the armor instead.
following that, she draws the fire of two ceiling mounted laser turrets so the others can destroy them. she uses a terminal on the wall to open a security gate that they loot for a handful of pulse grenades. it’s an elevator that takes them deeper into the fort, announcing their arrival to a maintenance tunnel with a loud ding.
she exhales heavily. just that much closer. even through the nerves, she still catches the laser tripwire hidden behind a supply cart in the middle of the tunnel. a patrolling synth doesn’t see them before maccready can snipe it, and deacon destroys the turret revealed when the synth falls through a set of double doors. a second synth calls out before having its head blown off by deliverer.
the next room is simply lined with shelves and empty metal containers. an abandoned desk sits in the middle, but there’s little for them there. down a short set of stairs, they’re faced with a hallway and electronically bolted security door. there’s no terminal for her to access, no switch on the wall, no lock for them to pick. it’s the only way for them to go, but it’s a dead end.
she puts a hand against the cold, metal door. ‘now what?’
a cold, familiar voice speaks to them through the pa system, ‘allow me.’

Predator — Loki
Warnings — smut, unprotected sex, more smut
(requested)
Loki, to say the least, was not the most patient of men. Him being the spoiled brat that he was often took what he wanted and didn't care for asking permission.
It was no different with you—when Fury had requested that you return to Asgard with Thor to help defeat a potential threat to the planet Earth, Loki had taken immediate interest in you. He would watch the way you communicated kindly with the Asgardian children, caring for people that weren't your own. It was easy to see that you belonged here, and it aroused him to think that you would do well as a ruler by his side.
". . . very beautiful," you smiled down at a child who held up a flower for you to admire. You giggled, not wanting to mention to the child the the flower was actually dead and it's rotting stench was horridly invading your nostrils.
You were different from the other avengers—still very well trained in combat and highly intelligent, but unlike them, you were gentle and innocent. That aroused him further, and the more he watched you the less he was able to keep himself together. Loki's breathing hitched in his throat and his knuckles turned white as he gripped the golden railings tightly, glaring down at you for leaving him so sexually frustrated.
From behind you, a figure cleared their throat and you turned to face them, finding Loki right there in front if you.
"Lady (Y/N)," he sneered, the look in his eyes represented pure anger and fear struck you—fully understanding that you were helpless against him, should he chose to harm you. "A word, if I may?"
You shakily nodded your head, turning to smile back at the little boy who failed to notice your fear, "it was nice meeting you, Zafer."
"Will you come back, Lady (Y/N)?" He asked, and you couldn't help but hesitate to respond. Loki wanted to privately speak with you, and he didn't appear to be happy. Chances of you escaping him in a private setting were slight.
"Of course," you lied, anyway. "Perhaps in the morning."
Only a few moments later were you following the angered man down a plethora of golden corridors—turning so many corners that you hadn't the slightest idea as to how to find your way back to the gardens. Neither if you spoke during that time; you simply allowed Loki to fume silently as he led you through a pair of golden double doors, then locked them behind you.
The room was dim, organized and cold. You glanced around at your surroundings, finding that you were in a bedroom; where an unecessarily large bed was neatly made in the center, a desk with nicely stacked papers placed in the corner, and large glass doors leading out to a balcony.
You turned to face Loki, hoping he would tell you why you were here. But before you could ask any questions, a large hand had been wrapped firmly around your throat and forced you backwards against the cool marble of the wall. His grip on your neck wasn't too tight, but tight enough so that you couldn't escape him. Loki dipped his head so that he was eye level you, and your own hands wrapped around his wrist in hopes of him releasing you.
"Do you have any idea what I want to do to you?" He growled, his voice low and menacing and his tone had you misinterpreting his exact intentions. For a few seconds, he had you believing that he wanted you dead. Loki let terror rise in your gut as his grip tightened, still, not enough to stop your breathing.
Just as you were about to try to fight him off, he smashed his lips onto yours. You hadn't returned the favor at first, shock paralyzing your body. He'd pulled away from you too soon and began to push you towards the bed.
"Walking around in this," He fisted the skirt of your deep red dress, the slit exposing a freshly shaved thigh as it parted in his grip. He was glaring daggers into your soul, but something about this was kind of a turn on.
"Loki, what—"
"Don't speak." He hissed, giving you a light shove and causing you to fall back onto his bed. He momentarily admired your body in the maroon dress his brother had kindly gifted you upon your arrival. "Such a pretty dress, expensive. Too bad I'll have to ruin it."
He didn't waste another second, tearing the material from your body in a single motion and tossing the pieces off to the side, leaving your skin bare and cold. Loki watched adoringly as your nipples hardened when the cooler temperature made contact with your skin, then smiled to himself as he admired the rest of your body.
The dim lighting made your skin apear golden—your much smaller body squirmed restlessly under his touch as he firmly grasped both sides of your waist and pulled you closer to him. Loki was bent over the edge of the bed and over your body when he took one of your breasts into his hands and gingerly sucked on the sensitive nipple, a moan hostily escaping your lips as he generously teased the other one.
"Loki, we shouldn't-"
"You're right, we shouldn't. What better reason to do it, anyway?" He purred, trailing his fingers down the center of your stomach and carassing your throbbing clit, causing your back to arch and another moan to slip past your lips. Loki prepared two fingers at your entrance, "let me hear more of those pretty little noises you make ."
A strangled cry tore through your throat when he inserted two fingers, using his thumb to rub circles into your clit. You let out a string of colorful curses and Loki smirked to himself as he collected each one into his memory, "such a dirty girl."
But you could only muster, "more."
He chuckled, removing his fingers and causing you to whine, "you must say please, (Y/N)."
You watched him hungrily as he sucked your juices off his fingers, smirking at the way you looked at him with need.
"Please."
Loki began placing wet kisses starting from your jaw and stopping at your thighs, sucking roughly at the skin and ensuring the development of purple lovebites. He took note of the way you squirmed under him, a moaning mess as you appreciated every last one of his touches. The tightening in his pants suggested he finally take you, but he couldn't let you come without getting another taste of you first.
He began with lightly sucking on your folds, then slowly lapping up your juices. Your fingers tangled in his hair and tugged at his roots. He reached up to play with your nipples, enjoying the way you whined for more.
"Loki, please!" You cried, "I need you!"
Loki chuckled, rising to his feet and with the snap of his fingers, was now just as naked as you, "say it again, (Y/N)."
"Please, I need you." You gritted your teeth in frustration, and just as you were going to continue to beg for him, plead for him to make you see stars, Loki had moved far too quickly for you to catch.
There was a sudden preasure between your hips, mixing pain and pleasure. You gasped, moaning despite the stinging sensation and focusing more on the way he filled you up without fully entering himself into you. With each thrust, he added more of himself and choked when your walls came closing in on him.
"Fuck!"
"More, Loki!" You whined, your legs were already burning and the knot in your stomach quickly forming.
Impatience overcame you, and pushed Loki so that you were now on top. He'd been shocked, but was left unable to steal control back from you as you began to rock your hips, bouncing on his shaft at a pace that left you both breathless. Your body was burning, your head thrown back weakly with your mouth formed in an O shape. You'd left Loki gasping for air and he grew harder with each high pitched whine that erupting from your throat, practically ripping you apart from the inside out.
"Fuck, Loki!"
You were beginning to slow as your high came crashing down on you, but before you could reach that point, Loki had flipped you both, turning you so that you your face was now pressed into the mattress and your bum was in the air. You grasped the sheets tightly in your hands and Loki didn't waste any time to reenter himself into you, delivering powerful thrusts as he painfully gripped at your hips and fucked you like an animal.
"(Y/N)!" He grunted, too overwhelmed with pleasure to say anything else. He reached around to the front of your neck and pulled you up so that your back was pressed against his chest, allowing him to fuck up into you from a kneeling position. His other hand reached around to your front, letting his fingers roughly rub circles into your clit and causing a much louder moan to fly through your mouth. Loki continued to suck on the sweat stained skin of your neck, pleasuring you in more ways than one.
He placed you back on your back, leaning down to swallow your moans as he thrusted into you harder and faster than before. Your hands gripped at his shoulder blades, finger curling and dragging your nails down his back while he bit down on your shoulder.
One final, strangled scream erupted from your throat as Loki finally let your orgasm take place, your juices covering him and soaking his bedsheets. He came not too long after you, warmly filling you up inside. Your sweat covered skin glistened in the dim lighting of the room, and he swallowed as he stared down at your worn down facial expression. He'd tired you out, and he was pretty damn proud of it, too.
"Will you stay?" He asked you softly, and a smile ghosted on your face.
You pushed yourself up, slightly wincing at the burning sensation that begged that you lay back down. Loki supported you with a hand on your back as you pressed a gentle kiss to his lips, whispering, "of course."
A knock sounded at the door, and Thor's voice came from the other side, "Now that you two are finally done with your vigorous baby making, yay, can someone please help me write an electronic letter to the Man of Spiders? What is a WiFi and why does it demand to be connected to my Midgaurdian device?"

Marvel Preference - How You Meet
F/N - First name
L/N - Last name
F/A - Favorite animal (or any animal)
E/C - Eye color
X
Bucky Barnes (MCU)
(Time frame: Post Winter Soldier, Pre Civil War/reuniting with Steve)
“Wait a minute!”
The pounding on your door had shook you from your sleep, worry welling up the moment you glanced at the clock on your bedside table. It was far too late for a visitor to mean anything good. In your hurry to get to the door, you’d tripped, catching your arm on the corner of a table as you had.
Finally, after battling your way through the dark of your home, you threw open the front door, one hand clutching an open cut and looking the very definition of a mess.
Still, even in your state, you couldn’t resist being surprised at the appearance on the man on your doorstep.
“I thought I was having a hard night.”
A rough laugh came from the stranger, “Sorry to prove you wrong.”
You stepped to the side and motioned him in, though you noticed the way he hid his right arm. He wasn’t as smooth as he seemed to think he was.
“So, what exactly is the Winter Soldier doing standing outside my door?” Immediately, he tensed, panic clear on his face, “You can relax, I don’t have any desire to have government agents crawling around. I only just got myself out of SHIELD.”
“Am I that obvious?”
“I blame the hair. Try a man bun, no one would expect you to be running around with one of those.”
“Noted.”
You laughed as you pointed in the direction of your sofa, “I’m going to get this cut cleaned up. Do you drink tea? If not, I can start a pot a coffee.”
“Either’s fine.”
“Got it. My name’s [F/N] by the way.”
“You can call me Bucky.”
“You’ve got it, Buck.”
He couldn’t help but smile as you gave him a playful wink.
Clint Barton (MCU)
(Time frame: Pre-SHIELD collapse, post Avengers)
Being a SHIELD agent wasn’t always trouble after trouble, just as—you assumed—being an Avenger allotted some time away from the front line in favor of some much deserved rest. Your job, like any, though it allowed for much more action than most, still had times where paperwork and meetings made for a day that dragged on and on.
And this was one of those days.
You shared a short lunch break with a few fellow agents, none of which ever spoke to you, spending even their breaks with faces shoved into documents. You often wandered if the paperwork became more interesting the higher your clearance level was, they certainly couldn’t be so focused on paying for yet another building leveled by yet another Avenger incident.
After another uneventful lunch, you began the trek back to your office. There was much to be grateful of in your job—your own office included—but every job seemed to suck the life out of you after awhile.
As you meandered your way back to your office and the paperwork residing there, you happened to run into someone.
Both parties stumbled back a few steps, apologies spilling as you each took in the other.
It took only a second for you to realize who you’d bumped into.
“Hawkeye! I’m so sorry! I wasn’t paying attention to where I was- I-I’m a big fan! Of you! Not just the Avengers, even though I am a fan of the-” You breathed out a sigh, covering your face as you attempted to regain any of the professionalism that you had once thought you had, “I’m sorry, let me start over. I’m [F/N] [L/N]. And I am an agent, despite acting like a rabid fan.”
Hawkeye, who had maintained an amused grin throughout your tangent, offered a hand, still smiling as you shook it, “Don’t worry about it. And you can call me Clint.”
“Clint, right. Pleasure to meet you.”
Johnny Storm (Fantastic 4)
(Based on the original F4 movies)
When a flaming anything comes crashing through your bedroom wall, you scream. It’s the natural response. When you realize it’s a man you momentarily question your sanity. And, finally, when said man ends up passed out on your bedroom floor surrounded by destruction, you’d normally call an ambulance—or would you? How often does a flaming man crash through someone’s wall? Unfortunately, whether you wanted to call an ambulance or not, your only phone had been pulverized when he flew through the wall.
Who had a landline anymore? It wasn’t your fault.
You dragged the man—who was easy to identify as the Human Torch—onto your bed and began to search his body for injuries. The injury that had knocked him out was quite easy to find, a large laceration on the back of his head, clearly from when he’d flown through the wall. You had expected more, considering the man had flown through a wall, after all.
You cleaned up his wound with all the skill of a random citizen having a superhero falling into her care.
It wasn’t more than an hour or so after that he shot straight up in the bed. His eyes immediately landed on your form, your feet perched on the back of a chair and your head on the footrest. An open book was in your hands, but it was forgotten the moment he awoke.
“About time you woke up, I was beginning to get worried.” You gave him a smile. “I’m [F/N] [L/N], the woman you owe a wall.”
“I’m Johnny Storm.”
“I’m well aware, Mr. Human Torch.” You motioned to the part of your floor he’d landed on, burn marks standing out against the hardwood. “You owe me floorboards too.”
Logan Howlett (X-Men) (Time frame: Pretty much any. Post Origins and the first X-Men)
Your story wasn’t unique in the world of Mutant and human conflict.
Your parents had kicked you out the moment they discovered you were a mutant—class A parenting, if they asked you—and that led you to pick-pocketing and stealing to stay alive from day to day.
You didn’t like it and realized that you had no more of an excuse than anyone else on the street, but you had to get money somehow and people weren’t exactly fond of your kind. Mutants were given the short end of the stick at every turn and you doubted that would ever change.
More often than not people were more than willing to offer you money, at least, after you showed them your fangs.
You didn’t think twice about who you were stealing from a majority of the time, you got them alone, bared your fangs, and then were on your way. That was that. You also didn’t think twice about your reputation spreading around, but it was, more than you could imagine.
You were at a bar one night, as usual, waiting for one of the drunkards to go wandering out on his own, the prime opportunity to snatch a wallet with nearly no repercussions. When you were confronted by a man, you hardly flinched. “Are you [F/N]?”
You looked up at the man without the slightest concern on your face. He was larger than you, but you’d robbed far bigger men than him. “That depends. You a cop?”
“If I was, don’t you think you’d be in handcuffs by now?”
“I suppose.” You hummed, before offering a Ganges grin, “Alright, alright, yeah I’m [F/N]. [F/N] [L/N]. And you would be?”
“Logan Howlett.”
“Logan? I think I just might remember that.”
Loki Friggason (MCU)
(Time frame: Fight with Hela in Ragnarok)
It wasn’t the first time you’d fought alongside Thor. You were an Avenger after all—well, honorary Avenger according to Tony, not that you ever paid much mind to his taunting.
You’d been with Bruce when he’d vanished, that much you knew, but you weren’t sure how much time you had lost in between that and regaining your sense of self.
You understood Bruce’s struggle better than the others ever could.
While you weren’t a “rage monster”, the moment your subconscious perceived a threat, your form was overtaken by that of a giant [F/A]. You and Bruce had bonded over this fact, leading to a duo of giants always ready to have the other’s back.
You’d never had the opportunity to meet Thor’s brother, something that your team often forgot, considering your own sibling-esque relationship with the Asguardian.
You hadn’t expected your first introduction to the supposed villain brother to be him announcing himself as the Asguardian people’s savior.
“You’re Loki?”
“Yes. And you are?”
“[F/N]. I’ve got to say, you’re not what I was expecting from the man who tried to enslave Earth.” He didn’t have time for a response, not that you cared to wait for one yourself.
Amidst your own fighting, you found yourself aside Thor again, “That brother of yours is a real charmer. Your savior is here! Is he serious?”
With a loud laugh, he tossed a comeback, “He can be very theatrical.”
“I think that’s a bit of an understatement.”
Peter Parker (MCU)
(Time frame: After Ned finds out about Peter being Spiderman)
Changing schools in the middle of the year always brought with it more turmoil than was necessary. You knew that better than most, after all, this was far from the first time you’d faced a mid-year transfer.
Still, it grew easier with each transfer and, you’d begun to realize, the older you got the more other students just began to ignore your presence. It was a lonely existence, but one you had resigned yourself to.
Besides, this would be your last move.
Finally, after years of being tossed from one school to another, you were sent to stay with your [relative].
Still, the first day was like many before it, lonely and awkward as students would offer you fleeting glances before returning to their own groups. With any luck, you wouldn’t paint a target on your head to attract those of the students that would just as well bully you as let you alone.
“Um, hey,” you toyed with the straps on your bag as you approached the least occupied table in the lunch room, uncertainty in your voice, “would you mind if I sat here?”
“Oh, yeah, sure!” You smiled as the two boys scrambled to clear off the spot in front of them.
“Thanks, I’m [F/N].”
“I’m Peter, this is Ned.”
Hardly a moment after, Ned interjected, “Have you heard about Spiderman?”
Peter elbowed him, earning a laugh from you.
“Yeah, the guy from those youtube videos, right? I figure it’s all in the suit. Unless he’s some alien or something. Why do you ask?” You cocked your head.
“No reason!”
“Uh, yeah, just curious.”
“Whatever you say.”
Pietro Maximoff (MCU)
(Time frame: Post-AOU au, Civil War; Pietro sides with Cap.)
(E/C) eyes observed the male intruder traipsing about the warehouse you had adopted as your own.
It hadn’t taken much to stake a claim on the property. It had been abandoned for years, nestled in the midst of a tangle of trees, too tightly woven to bring in the vehicles needed for destruction without taking out the trees too. Your particular abilities made it all too easy to convince those who did wander along, that the warehouse was home to a nasty number of woodland creatures.
It wasn’t as if there was any concerning individuals out searching for you either. The only people aware of your existence were the Avengers and you were sure that they wouldn’t divulge your location to anyone.
Though the recent divergence from friend to foe did make you wander. With all that had happened, any of the team might divulge your secret.
Said secret being your existence.
Curiosity filled your eyes as the stranger walked further into the darkness of your abode.
The warehouse wasn’t exactly welcoming. Maybe his friends had dared him? He did look young. Maybe your age.
You followed him via the old pipes running across the ceiling of the building.
“[F/N]!” Your name coming from the mouth of another being surprised you, “Captain America sent me!” You perked up at the title as he yelled into the darkness. Steve had always been more welcoming of your presence than Tony.
Knowing Steve sent this stranger also gave you hope that you hadn’t been ratted out by Tony and his Accord.
You silently dropped down behind him, “And why is Mister America hunting me down?”
You couldn’t help but be somewhat disappointed by his lack of surprise.
“He’s gathering a team”
“Well, I have always wanted to experience the superhero shtick. Name’s [F/N].”
“Pietro.”
Sam Wilson (MCU)
(Time frame: Beginning of Winter Soldier)
“C'mon, Cap, you’ve got nothing on me. I’m known for being fast.”
“Whatever you need to tell yourself to get sleep at night.”
“Oh, I’m going to get you!” With a playful growl, you launched yourself onto Steve’s back. He didn’t miss a step, continuing his run while you placed yourself atop his shoulders.
Your partnership with Steve arose from your interest in him and those he had fought alongside. What was a one time interview for your blog became a strong friendship, one that resulted in even the reveal of your abilities.
“On your left.”
You perked up as Steve spoke to a fellow runner, giving the stranger a grin as he fell away. You must have been a strange sight, perched atop Steve’s shoulders.
When you next heard Steve’s comment, you were typing away a text, but quickly turned to the stranger again. This time, you offered a wave and gave Steve a tap so he would stop.
After hopping down, you fell in step beside the man, “Sorry about Steve. The whole superhero thing makes him hard to beat.”
“I figured that out,” he stopped, offer in you a hand, “Sam Wilson.”
You took his hand, “[F\N] [L/N].”
An easy conversation arose, him mostly questioning your relationship with Steve and, by extension, the other Avengers.
It wasn’t until Steve once again lapped him that he seemed to remember that he had been running.
“Don’t say it!”
“On your left.”
“Come on!”
You rolled your eyes as you joined Sam in chasing after Steve, “Boys.”
Steve Rogers (MCU)
(Time frame: Post SHIELD collapse, pre AOU, references the AOU scene with Thor’s hammer)
Working for SHIELD hadn’t been among your aspirations upon leaving home.
Yet, here you were.
Or, more accurately, there you had been.
Your work as an assassin had long kept you separate from the golden heroes of the world, but the collapse brought that to an end. With what information had been kept on you being stored the old fashioned way, you’d made an escape, free to abandon all the drama that SHIELD had supplied.
So, you found yourself questioning why you now sat aside the heroes that you’d always thought yourself too tainted to friend. But here you were, the part of a bona-fide Tony Stark party, with all of the Avengers in attendance.
As the newest member—not that you were an Avenger, far from it—you received the spotlight as the group tossed questions at you from every side.
The conversation trailed away from you, for which you were grateful, and turned to Thor’s hammer. The men immediately jumped at the opportunity to prove themselves ‘worthy’ and you couldn’t help but make a snide remark toward their testosterone-fueled pride.
You also couldn’t help being impressed when the hummer moved for Steve—and beyond amused at the surprise on Thor’s face, but you’d leave that for later.
“I don’t think I properly introduced myself, Captain.” You gave him a grin, one everyone in the room could tell was flirtatious, “I’m [F/N] [L/N].” You held out your hand and he took it a grin matching your own on his face.
“Steve Rogers.”
You opened your mouth to speak but Tony quickly cut in, “Do you have to flirt in front of us?”
“Tony!”
Thor Odinson (MCU)
(Time Frame: Ragnarok)
Meeting the heir to the Asguardian throne was the last thing you had expected from your imprisonment on Sakaar, but he was there, imprisoned the same as you.
Your time as a contender had brought you more than your fair share of pain, but the look on Thor’s face served to convince you he’d suffered plenty before even being introduced the the Grandmaster’s game.
Still, you knew Thor was the greatest chance you had to escape and you wanted your chance, even if it meant weaseling your way into his favor with all the womanly charm you had left after the months of fighting you’d done for the Grandmaster’s enjoyment.
“Hello there,” you gave Thor your best attempts at a sexy smile.
“Oh, yeah, this is [F/N].” Korg introduced you and you gave him a nod.
“I’ll answer any questions he has, pal, you can go hang out with Miek, yeah?”
He hesitated and you couldn’t help but wonder if he had the same plan or if he simply wanted to chat with the newcomer. Either way, he relented without protest.
“He’s a good guy, great for some laughs too,” you shrugged, “I would have let you be, but I had to chat with you. Never expected to find an Avenger trapped in here with me.”
“You’re from Midgard?” you gave him an affirmative nod, “How did you end up here?”
“You’re asking the wrong person. All I remember is Earth and then,” you motioned a poof with your hands, “here I am.”
“I’ll get us both out of here, you have my word.”
Any response you had died in your throat. He hadn’t even gave you a chance to flirt your way into his good graces before offering his help.
You decided then, Thor was your favorite Avenger.

Bliss Theory
Buckle up kiddos cause I’m gonna share my theory about the Far Cry 5 “Good Ending” So You May want to skip this and scroll on if you haven’t seen it yet.
Moving from that, I want to talk about the ending of the game. At your final confrontation with Joseph, your fellow Deputies and Sheriff are now at the mercy of Joseph and your friends who are Blissed out and under Joseph’s control. Joseph gives you two options that lead to the end of the game, walk away, in which your character can take the Deputies and Sheriff and leave Hope County, causing Sheriff Whitehorse to accidentally trigger the Only You conditioning he has made your character and Pratt endure as you leave, or continue to resist. Resisting Joseph causes him to dump vats of Bliss and you are forced to fight him and 12 of your friends you have made through your time in Hope County. After the fight, as Joseph is being arrested again by Whitehorse, a nuke explodes in the distance and you, Joseph, Whitehorse, and Deputies Hudson and Pratt rush to a car to drive to Dutches bunker. Along the way, the car crashes, leaving you and Joseph the only survivors. Joseph drags you to Dutches bunker, kills Dutch, and you and Joseph are now one big happy family, hooray!
But what I want to get to is the details on the Resist ending. Despite both endings sucking for you and the other characters, the ending where Joseph nukes Hope County is considered the good ending. You would think the one ending that most people survived would be better, but I guess not. But I thought of it and after going through some stuff in game as well as things I learned after reading both the Book of Joseph and Absolution, I realized somethings.
I’m going to go right off the bat and say that everything that happened at the Resist ending didn’t happen. Now, the fight with Joseph did happen, your friends being captured did happen, the part that wasn’t real was afterwards when the bombs began to fall. That’s where Bloss Theory begins, because there is one major thing that happens to you that the Walk Away Ending doesn’t have, and that’s Joseph dumping the barrel of Bliss on you. Your friends are already covered, and now you’re next. Was Joseph controlling you? Most likely not since you kick his ass, but the game says the Bliss affects the Deputy very easily, suggesting that there are people who don’t feel th effects of the Bliss as easily as others.
Now the cult practically worships the Bliss, it’s used in every region, being packed into fertilizer then into Silos in Johan region, it’s grown everywhere in Faiths region, and the Peggies are forcing practically every animal in Jacobs region into the stuff, turning them into Judges. They use the Bliss in Baptisms, they use it to make Judges, they’re all heckled into storing as much as they can of it into their bunkers (hell, Faith has it constantly pouring out in front of her bunker), but what use is storing it going to serve once the Collapse began? They can’t baptise people in the river as they do, there’s no point in making more angels if they don’t need to FORCE people to join the cult, the silos and plants above the surface are just going to get destroyed afterwards, what’s the point of having all of that unless you plan on spending the 7 years planned underground being stoned out of your god damn mind.
Which brings me to my next part, being in the Bliss itself. I think, out of all three regions, Faiths region is the most foreshadowy and supportive of my theory because there is so much stuff in her region that is viable o the cults true plans. Every encounter you have with Faith is in the Bliss. She’s shown to be able to move around it as she pleases, to move you, the player, across to anywhere in the Henbane, she controls it with ease. The only other person we see do that in game is Joseph, and what does he do in the Bliss? He shows you the bombs falling then shows you his compound after they landed, looking exactly how they look in the Resist ending. Now, I’m uncertain to how Faith and Joseph keep from falling under the Blisses influence, maybe it effects them less than John and Jacob (John did get drugged by Mary May in Absolution using Bliss and it would make sense to how Joseph hand picks the next woman to be Faith),but they’re able to control what people see in the Bliss, and by extension, as shown with Burke in Faiths final encounter, able to control the actions of what people who have been in it long enough do.
So the nukes could of been faked that’s easy enough to point out. So what am I getting at then, why would I go on about this if it’s that simple. Well, hiding underground for 7 years once the Collapse comes is just the basic idea for Edens Gate plan but there’s something else behind it, and I noticed it when I read the Book of Joseph. At the end of the Book of Joseph, Joseph describes the cult as being isolationist, kicking out people who joined to just see what the cults about and only taking those in who truly wanted salvation. Will from Absolution confirmed this as he was shocked when he found out the cult started forcing people to join. Then I got to more details of what the cult did, specifically one of John’s roles.
John is a lawyer and had become the cults lawyer, any laws that needed to get bent, he was the one that made sure they could get away with it, but he also became adamant on buying up lots of land and businesses in Hope County. Notes and messages from various inhabitants in John’s region show he revealed his nasty side to them when refusing to sell their homes and in Absolution, John Seed goes as far as bosssing around other store owners like Mary May, as if their businesses are already owned by the cult. But there’s no need to bug out so much stuff if they think that the world is going to end, what’s the point of buying it if everyone’s gonna die already.
So here’s what I’m coming down to. The whole Bliss Theory with Far Cry 5 is that Joseph was gonna initiate an apacolypse once Hope County was full of enough Bliss. By then, everyone would of joined Edens Gate or died/ become an angel in the process. Then, when everything in Hope County is practically owned by Edens Gate, the cult will hide underground for 7 years after their fake apacolypse and will emerge to “Edens Garden.” If any law encocement try to get involved, there’s no need to cause all the land is under Edens Gates name. John can set them up with contracts and papers, and the cult has a huge thing about making sure no outsiders try to get into their Garden after the world ends. The Deputies arrival only sped up their process because Joseph knew the police and the government were going to get involved very soon (Inside Edens Gate when Alex uploads the video of John’s forced baptism to the Internet). Joseph picks your Deputy as the “harbinger of the apacolypse” and the cult begins to rush through its plans.
There’s a few things that I couldn’t figure out for a while, like the radios changing with each herald you killed, but I figured Joseph could of had those recorded to give the “seal breaking” vibe and, also, the bombs don’t fall if you Walk away

We love feedback so you can ping either @vixxscifiwritings / @animeotakupooh or me :)
Haneul jolted when her phone buzzed, she sighed reaching for it to see a text from her classmate from college and friend Park Chanyeol. They texted every now and then when either of them weren’t busy. Sometimes they met up, if Haneul got tired of the people at work, which wasn’t often since they were such an entertaining bunch.
“Your friend in your display picture is hot.”
Haneul blinked before going to check her display picture out. It was a picture of Minah and her from one of their ‘girls day out’ days. Her eyes widened in horror as tapped back to the chat and texted back instantly.
“I’m sorry what?!”
“She’s hot.”
“She’s Kim Minah and you can’t have her.”
“Dambi has set me up on some blind date.” Minah’s voice piped up as she dropped down beside Haneul after dragging a chair from the empty cubicle which used to be hers. Haneul spun around to gape at Minah who shrugged as she pulled her chair closer.
“Dambi states that he is hot as well. Ergo, I will need your help in the art of seduction.”
“Hold on hold on! You don’t even know his name and what on earth do you mean teach you the art of seduction?!” Haneul gaped at Minah who sighed.
“Remember the last time we went out? You offered me lessons to seduce Taekwoon. But I’m just going to take those lessons so I can have a nice date tonight. Oh, and his name is Park Chanyeol or something.”
Haneul paused and squinted at Minah “ Park Chanyeol… Park Chanyeol from Yonsei University?!”
“Uh, yeah...at least that’s what Dambi told me.” Minah nodded as Haneul whipped her phone out only to freeze. Minah watched in awe as Haneul’s fingers flew over the keypad. Her friend was clearly fuming as a royal pout appeared on her lips.
“He cannot call you hot!” she grumbled at no one in particular as Minah gaped at her, baffled.
“I’m so confused right now, is that an instruction for a session in seduction?”
“I am not teaching you this! Not with that dodo head! Not after he called you hot.” Haneul continued with her rambling as Minah finally lost it and grabbed Haneul’s phone and peered into the screen. Then some realization dawned over her.
“I see you know my blind date. And he thinks I’m hot…”
“He can’t!” Haneul floundered as Minah tried to hold back a laugh before placing her hand on Haneul’s shoulder.
“Kim Haneul, I’m always yours.”
Haneul paused mid ramble before a huge smile spread across her lips as she stood up and spotted Taekwoon heading back into his office.
“SUCK IT JUNG TAEKWOON SHE’S MINE!”
Taekwoon spun around to find the source of the scream and spotted Haneul dancing around in her cubicle. Baffled, just like everyone else who had heard Haneul’s announcement was, he shrugged before getting back into his office.
“Seriously though, he doesn’t look like a bad guy. This might be the only chance I have in the dating game. So teach me your wise ways oh Kim Haneul.” Minah sighed as Haneul sat down and sighed.
“You can do way better than Park Chanyeol...like me!”
“Haneul, we’re both straight.” Minah deadpanned.
“Fine, go for Jung Taekwoon.”
“Who is my boss and is a little too much out of my league. Either way, I don’t think these lessons are going to happen. So tell me more about this Park Chanyeol.”
Haneul plonked back down on her seat and squinted “Hmmm how do I even begin to explain Park Chanyeol?”
“I doubt he is Regina George.” Minah rolled her eyes as Haneul chuckled.
“I mean he’s a pretty good guy, tall, dorky, talented with musical instruments and stuff. Oh! He’s like a hyper beagle!” Haneul began as she watched Minah’s eyes widen.
“I love beagles. They’re so damn cute.”
“Don’t you like cats?” Haneul asked as Minah nodded.
“I do…”
“Taekwoon is like a cat!”
“Uh...I’m more of a dog person. Although I love most animals.”
“Then date meee!” Haneul cried as Minah sighed, this was going nowhere. She stood up, dragging the chair back to its original spot.
“This is going nowhere, I’ll just head back to Admin now.”
“Noooo, fine! It’ll teach you. I don’t approve, but I’ll teach you!”
“You will? Seriously?” Minah asked, raising an eyebrow at Haneul.
“Uh… yeah! What do you want to know?” Haneul asked, wracking her brains. She had agreed to teach Minah how to seduce someone but had no idea how to go about it herself.
“Okay. Well, first things first. You need to be well groomed. You can’t be sexy if you look horrible” Haneul started. Minah nodded to herself. This was easy.
“And second… you need to have a good outfit! Not necessarily sexy but comfortable and flattering. If you’ve got it then you should flaunt it!” Haneul told her seriously.
“That feels like the theme of a Beyonce song” Minah laughed.
“She is the best example! Unapologetically sexy. She doesn’t even have to try to seduce” Haneul said with a sigh.
“I know what you mean!” Minah agreed enthusiastically. “But I am most definitely not Queen Bey level.”
“Don’t you worry! When we are through, you will be!” Haneul proclaimed.
“Now this is where it gets tricky so you need to watch carefully. The third tip is to look approachable but also be unavailable at the same time” she told Minah.
“Huh?” Minah asked, confused by the statement.
“Hmm… let’s see. Aha! Wonshik is coming this way” Haneul noted.
“Damn. He must be looking for me. I really should be getting back to work” Minah started.
“Nuh uh! What’s the advantage of seduction if I can’t get you a free day when you really need time to tackle a crisis? Leave this to me” Haneul assured the younger woman.
“You don’t need an excuse to seduce Wonshik” Minah teased.
“Excuse you, he is a married man. Also this is only for demonstration. So take notes” Haneul sang. She got up, fixing her hair and biting her lip to make them look a little more swollen. She had her game face on and Minah knew it because she saw the same look in her brother’s eyes as he went for a goal.
“Wonshik! Hi!” Haneul said with a bright smile as she walked up to him.
“Oh… Hi Haneul” Wonshik replied with a smile.
“Would you mind if I stole Minah for a day? Pretty please?” Haneul asked, leaning into his space while giving him a pout. Minah noted that it wasn’t her royal frustrated pout but a toned down pout that just made her lips quiver. And they definitely had Wonshik’s attention because he glanced down at her and blushed, looking at the ceiling and every else except at Haneul herself.
“Uh... sure” he agreed, stepping back a little.
“Thank you! I have such a busy day and I could really use her help. You are such a sweetheart” she exclaimed happily. Haneul put her hand on his chest as she said so, making Wonshik stutter a little while replying. Haneul smiled at him before returning to her desk.
“I am free all day and so are you now” she declared making Minah wonder what had just happened. “Also important lesson. Know what your enemy’s weakness is. Wonshik gets easily flustered when you touch him. A lot of men are weak to accidental touches.”
“Accidental touches?” Minah asked.
“Yeah! Things like a pat on the back, or hands brushing together. Take Hongbin for example. Brush against his neck for example and he is done for” Haneul told her. “Let’s head down to marketing and you will see.”
“But that’s so creepy. Won’t he see it coming from a mile away?” Minah asked.
“He hasn’t figured it out till date. Speak of the devil” Haneul said, looking at the corridor. Hongbin had just come out of a meeting room and was escorting his clients out. He spotted Haneul and Minah and came over to greet them.
“Hey Binnie! How did the meeting go?” Haneul asked him. Minah opted to wave at him, not wanting to speak and ruin Haneul’s demo.
“Pretty good actually. I really have a good feeling about the proposal the team planned. I am very sure it will get accepted and that will be amazing for us.” he told them.
“Sounds amazing. Oh hey, I think you have something on your neck” Haneul pointed out. Hongbin frowned, rubbing at his neck.
“A little higher actually. Maybe I should …?” Haneul offered.
“Yeah. Sure. I kind of have to rush to my next meeting with Taekwoon” he groaned.
Haneul nodded sympathetically before leaning forward. She brushed away imaginary dirt on his neck extremely delicately. Minah held back a snort because that sort of brushing got rid of nothing. But she could see goosebumps form on his skin.
“There you go” Haneul replied. Instead of pulling her hand away directly, she let it ghost over his shoulder and trailed it down his arm instead. Minah held back a laugh because the reaction was almost instantaneous. The tips of his ears were red and he looked visibly flustered by the sudden proximity between him and Haneul.
“I should get to that meeting” Hongbin said, clearing his throat.
“Bye BeanMan” Minah said, unable to hide her amusement. Haneul glared at her so that she wouldn’t give them away but she couldn’t hide her own grin. Hongbin left quickly and the two of them broke into a fit of giggles.
“Come on. Finances is on the way to the pantry in the other wing and I am craving lemon tea and Hakyeon’s confused expression will be funny” Haneul said leading the way.
“Okay. and pray oh wise one, what is his weakness?” Minah asked her.
“Flattery. Hakyeon knows he is sexy and asserts it, but he rarely expects someone else to up the ante” Haneul said wisely. Minah nodded, following her. This exercise was definitely not what she thought she would be doing today. But it was a good distraction and extremely entertaining.
“Hakyeonnie! Oppa! You look handsome today” Haneul exclaimed, walking into Hakyeon’s cabin. He was free and his door was open and the department heads always took it as an open invitation to come talk to him.
“What do you want from me?” Hakyeon asked, without looking up from his file.
“Nothing! I am not that kind of girl Cha Hakyeon!” Haneul replied dramatically. Hakyeon levelled a look at her, eyebrow raised in disbelief.
“I just thought that you looked really handsome today” Haneul said with a soft smile. Minah blinked at the sudden change in tone. Was that the secret to get Hakyeon’s attention?
“Are you both just playing around?” Hakyeon asked, his cheeks tinged pink from Haneul’s sudden declaration.
“We were just on our way to the pantry to get lemon tea. The other pantry ran out” Minah explained.
“And also to say hi to our sexy friend but he clearly doesn’t want us here” Haneul huffed.
“Why are you suddenly like this today?” Hakyeon asked, embarrassed by the praise.
“I’m appreciating you! If you’ve got it then you should flaunt it! That’s what Queen Bey says, right Minah?” Haneul asked her.
“Absolutely” Minah said in hundred per cent agreement.
“O.M.G talking about flaunting, have you ever noticed the fabled Cha Booty like - “ Haneul started, just to be interrupted by Hakyeon.
“Minah doesn’t need to know! Just go drink your lemon tea!” Hakyeon yelled kicking Haneul out.
“Fine geez” Haneul said, pretending to take offense and walking off. Minah bowed apologetically and followed only for both of them to stop when Hakyeon had gone back in. They doubled back and snuck a peek into his cabin to see him smiling to himself as he signed papers and gave each other a high five.
“Lemon tea, lemon tea, lemon tea…. Han Sanghyuk! Perfect timing! Minah, Sanghyuk is a bit of a wildcard so watch and learn.” Haneul exclaimed. She had been looking into finding some lemon tea for herself and take a break from the impromptu adventure but they had found Sanghyuk in the pantry. HR sat right next to Finance, Minah remembered. That’s how she had run into Hakyeon on her first day.
Sanghyuk appeared to be in a good mood Minah noted; Haneul approached him holding her phone up.
“Sanghyukkie, I’m starting an Instagram page to put up pictures of handsome guys and you’re first!”
Sanghyuk’s eyes narrowed “Is there something you want Haneul?”
“I just want a picture Han Sanghyuk, stop making a big deal of it. Fine, we’ll just take the picture together Minah.” Haneul rolled her eyes before holding her phone up.
“Huh?” Minah blinked, turning to Sanghyuk with wide eyes before placing a hand on his forehead “why don’t you want to take the picture though? You’re always ready for pictures. Are you ill?”
Sanghyuk reached for Haneul’s phone and grabbed it “I’ll take the picture with Minah.” he said as Haneul gaped at him and mouthed “mommy issues? Noona love? He likes being mothered?” before mumbling “truly a wild card.” as she headed to the pantry to make her lemon tea. She returned to see Sanghyuk still taking pictures with Minah whose smile was faltering as she started to look tired of it.
“Lean in lean in!” Haneul mouthed at Minah who blinked at her before resting her head on his shoulder “amazing!” Haneul shot her a thumbs up before turning to him
“I just wanted one picture of you and you took some twenty with her!” she protested.
“You’re just crazy” Sanghyuk said. He lifted her up quite easily making her shriek and put her quite a distance away from himself. “You’re really crazy today” he said, trying to understand what was happening.
“Well, you are crazy for blushing for pictures with her!” Haneul sing-songed.
“Was it because you liked it?” Minah asked laughing.
“Was it hot Hyukkie?” Haneul asked, imitating Hakyeon’s popular phrase.
“Why do I have to live with this? I should lodge a complaint against the two of you for harassment” he huffed as he walked away.
“I’ll honestly admit that the Sanghyuk attempt was more of a miss than a hit” Haneul said sadly.
“He was always a wildcard. At least we got him flustered?” Minah pointed out.
“He’s probably plotting a hundred ways to embarrass me in return” Haneul frowned.
“There there. Don’t be sad” Minah consoled her by patting her back. If this experiment was meant to continue, there was bound to be some amount of reaction to it.
“So who's next? Dearly beloved Jaehwan?” Minah asked in amusement. If there was a reaction then Haneul had brought upon herself. Haneul choked on her lemon tea.
“No. Uh…. Jaehwan is Aries. If you want to seduce one then uh… just seduce yourself or something. Besides! He is a married man. If there is anyone who should be seducing him it should be Wonshik” she explained as she cleaned herself up.
“I think that you should seduce Jaehwan” Minah teased. If Wonshik got to play target it was only fair that Jaehwan did too.
“No thank you. Maybe you should seduce Taekwoon” Haneul shot back.
“I don't want to! Go seduce Jaehwan” Minah replied.
“Seduce Boss Cat!” Haneul pouted.
“You seduce flower boy!” Minah countered as Haneul waved her hands.
“You seduce Silent and Violent!”
“Fine! You seduce Silent and Violent” Minah grinned.
“Fine! Maybe I’ll do it!.... Wait what” Haneul stopped.
“This will be interesting” Minah grinned. “Or you can seduce Jaehwan. Your choice.”
“I'd rather seduce that Slimy lizard” Haneul grumbled. She took a swig of her lemon tea, finishing it in one go. She poured out another cup and walked out towards the direction of Taekwoon’s cabin.
“Hey Haneul!” Jaehwan called out to her as she passed him in the hallway.
“Later babe” Haneul said, walking on. Jaehwan blinked, smiling at her before walking away. Minah held back a laugh. Jaehwan found her cute even when she did not intend it. She followed Haneul quickly, hurrying because she did not want to miss this.
“Hi” Haneul chirped to Taekwoon as soon as Minah entered the room. She almost keeled over laughing as she found Haneul back hugging Taekwoon with a cup of hot coffee in her hands and Taekwoon at a loss for words.
“Woonie. I brought you coffee!” Haneul said holding the cup up. She shifted to snuggle closer into him and smiled at him.
“How much sugar did you eat, you hyper weirdo?” Taekwoon asked, his face turning red. Why was Haneul so weird? Especially when Minah was around? He looked to Minah for help but she was busy laughing at the scene unfolding in front of her.
“Please get off me. All of this is highly unprofessional” Taekwoon said. He was now sure that Haneul was somehow drunk and he suspected Minah because Sanghyuk was such a bad influence on her. Maybe he should separate the two, is there a way to prevent Minah from joining the HR team?
“I am just doing a coffee run!” Haneul exclaimed, pouting at him.
“I just finished my latte so no thanks” Taekwoon told her waving to the empty cup in front of him.
“You only drink coffee that Minah makes” Haneul grumbled. Yet she made no move to get away.
“I'm trying to work here Haneul.” Taekwoon grumbled, trying to move while not knocking over hot coffee on himself or the desktop.
“Daeeeggguunnii. Try my coffee at least.” Haneul rested her chin on his shoulder comically since his back was too broad for her to entirely engulf him in a hug. Minah was nearly in tears now as she held back her laughter which seemed to escape her in bursts.
“I am not entirely sure of what the hell is going on here. But please leave the coffee on the table and leave this room. I have an important email to decipher.” Taekwoon said firmly as Haneul sighed in defeat sensing the tone of his voice was one which should not be taken lightly. Minah straightened up at the tone too as Haneul detached herself from the boss and left the coffee on his table before shooting him a frown.
“Fine, I’m going to be petty and take our English language consultant away! You can decipher the English email on your own! I’ll help her prepare for her blind date.” Haneul stuck her tongue out at Taekwoon as he gaped at her. He had intended on calling Minah for help but couldn’t seem to get through to her desk phone.
Taekwoon wasn’t sure how to react or which piece of information to react to first - the fact that Haneul was dragging away the person who could help him out or the fact that Minah was going on a blind date. Why was she going on a blind date? Who was she going on a blind date with?
“Haneul, I think I should help him out. It’s the least we can do for putting him through this...whatever this is.” Minah said evenly as Haneul pouted at her. Why was Minah sabotaging everything?! Taekwoon sighed in relief. At least one of his problems were going to be solved. Haneul glared at him as he mouthed “blind date?” to her. She shrugged nonchalantly in response. It was Taekwoon’s turn to glare at her only to freeze when Minah leaned over to read the email. Her arm brushed over his shoulder and arm before reaching for the mouse.
“I’m scrolling up so I can read the whole thing.” she smiled at him before scrolling up and reading the contents of the email intently. Taekwoon only snapped out of it when he heard a snort from the other end of the room as Haneul held back her laughter.
“So,” Minah began in a low voice “these are instructions from the client about the global marketing requirements. The list is rather long, if you want me to read it out, I can. If not, you can forward the email to me and I’ll send you a translated version.” Taekwoon felt her shift against his back before moving away as he cleared his throat. His phone was also buzzing violently on the table.
“I’ll forward the email to you. If you can get back to me…”
“I’ll get it done as soon as possible!” Minah smiled as she caught hold of Haneul, who was furiously texting, and dragged her out. Taekwoon sighed and pulled his phone towards himself and unlocked it to see a barrage of messages from Haneul.
Haneul : YOU CHEATER -_-
Haneul : Why is it absolutely fine that Minah gives you a pseudo back hug?!?!
Haneul : But I
Haneul : Your most beloved junior from college
Haneul : And practical sister
Haneul : Cannot give you an actual hug?!?!?
Taekwoon : Cut me some slack, I did not expect it okay?
Haneul : You were blushing like a baboon’s butt.
Taekwoon : Shut up. What is this blind date business?
Haneul : NOT TELLING YOUUUU
Taekwoon : Stop acting like Jaehwan
Haneul : Stop being an asshole. You love Jaehwan. You also love me more.
Taekwoon : What the hell
Haneul : PLUS Minah loves me and she’s mine. SO SUCK IT.
Taekwoon : Is this what you were screaming about in the morning?
Haneul : …maybe?
Taekwoon : So are you going to tell me?
Haneul : YOU WILL NEVER KNOW YOU CHEATER
Taekwoon : Hugs and a trip to the puppy cafe?
Haneul : You are an evil Hamster and I hope you die.
Haneul : Actually don’t die
Taekwoon : Because you love me?
Haneul : Because you owe me money
Taekwoon : -_- I said I’d pay you back! And also, I’ll pay for the cafe meal this time. So, tell me.
He paused as he heard Jaehwan squawking outside “what?! The dude said he found her hot? That’s really forward!”
“Hush Jaehwan!” he heard Haneul shush him “If I wanted the entire office to know then I would have screamed it too!”
Taekwoon sighed when he saw an email from Minah in his inbox waiting to be read. She was breaking up the instructions into bits and sending them over. Office gossip could wait for later, including this mysterious fellow Minah was going on a date with. Outside, Jaehwan and Haneul were on a different mission. At least Haneul was.
“What are you doing now though?” Jaehwan asked as he peered into Haneul’s phone screen.
“Sabotaging Chanyeol’s date.” she smirked.
“You are an evil woman.” Jaehwan said as he gaped at the message Haneul had just sent.
“You find it hot.” Haneul shot back as Jaehwan leaned closer and whispered.
“Why yes I do.” he leaned away before whistling. “You told him that there was no point in the date because Taekwoon was interested? Bold move.” Haneul wanted to stomp the ground like a petulant child. Who the hell asked this man to exist! And who was seducing who? She was distracted when Chanyeol’s response came back in rapid succession.
Chanyeol :What ?!
Chanyeol : Taekwoon the senior?
Chanyeol : Like athletic Taekwoon?
Chanyeol : Swimming champ Taekwoon?
Chanyeol : Football team captain Taekwoon?
Chanyeol : Big scary boxing Taekwoon?!
Chanyeol : I’m out. Sorry hot friend. But I’m out.
Jaehwan chuckled as the read the responses before nudging Haneul “Minah incoming. News does travel fast. I will see you later?” he said, winking, before heading towards his cubicle. Presumably to work on some cool new creation. Haneul glared at him before turning to Minah who had just turned up looking puzzled.
“Apparently Chanyeol who thought I was hot does not want to go out on a date with me.”
Haneul rearranged her expression into one of similar confusion as she met Minah’s disappointed eyes “why is that?”
“I don’t know, Dambi just shot me a quick text. But he cancelled and I have a reservation. Do you want to go out to eat?”
Haneul looked thoughtful “I have work. Why don’t you take Taekwoon out for dinner? To thank him for the puppy cafe.”
"I thought you didn't have work." Minah frowned, confused even further as Haneul huffed at how oblivious her friend was being.
"Yes, well I do now."
That’s when Taekwoon’s door flew open as the two standing outside turned to look at him as he shrugged and pointed in the direction of the pantry"I'm hungry, I’m heading to the pantry."
"Good Taekwoon, Minah has a reservation and her date bailed, so go eat." Haneul declared as Minah and Taekwoon looked at her startled.
"I'll just take Dambi or something." Minah said awkwardly "So I can talk to her about this Chanyeol who thinks I'm hot but bails on dates."
"Chanyeol? Who thinks you're hot?" Taekwoon blinked as he turned to Minah.
"Long story Jung Taekwoon.” Haneul dismissed it as the cogs in Taekwoon’s brain slowly shifted and clicked.
"Isn’t Chanyeol that idiot from college?"
"Yeah." Haneul replied, chuckling at Minah’s look at Taekwoon, she appeared to be surprised at how he thought Chanyeol was an idiot.
"Why does he know Minah or think she's hot?" Taekwoon blinked.
"Her sister in law wanted to set them up on a blind date." Haneul explained, getting tired of this and hoping that she could just push the two out of the office on a date of their own.
"Ah, well, I'm glad it didn't work out." Taekwoon shrugged as he sighed.
“You sound like an ass right now." Minah piped up, a little disappointed with the fact that her date had cancelled on her.
"Chanyeol is an idiot." Haneul patted her shoulder.
"Fine then, if he's such an idiot, you find me a smarter date." Minah snapped as Haneul grinned in response before waving to Taekwoon.
"I volunteer Taekwoon!"
There was silence as the two looked at Haneul and sighed.
“I’m going home and eating ramyun.”
“I’m going to go and see if there is something to eat in the pantry.”
“Why don’t you walk her home and have ramyun together?!” Haneul cried as the two walked away from her.

For the self description thingy: im an extravert kinda girl with short blonde hair and green eyes. I love reading and spending time with my friends. I spend most of my time learning for uni in my room (it has a balconyyyy) and have no real experience with dating/relationships. Im very argumentative :)
HOW WOULD THEY BREAK YOU? ( CLOSED ) – 6 / 21
Rating: Sa/fe for w/ork
Warnings: The standard fare; kidnapping, captivity, manipulation, drugging / nonconsensual use of drugs, nausea / vomiting / emetophobia, vitamin d deficiency, isolation, strangulation, abusive relationships, physical violence, confinement to indoors.
———————————————-
Genji: (pre-overwatch)
Why he’d match well with you:
- Likes to be the first and only. He’s selfish that way.
- No experience means he can mold you however he wants.
- Genji might like fun, experienced playmates, but he can sense inexperience like blood in the water. The soft eyes and subtle hesitation are irresistible.
- He’s not a stranger to western features in his dates, or even blondes- but those golden strands are so fine and soft in comparison. It’s like touching an exotic animal. And green eyes! Such a rare contrast, but so fitting for you. He’ll make them shine so beautifully with tears and shame.
- You never back down from a dogfight, and behind those sharp words, he knows there’s a fiery will he’s going to have so much fun with.
———————————————-
How he’d break you:
- Although Genji has a habit of breaking his toys, he wants to enjoy the slow burn of watching you crumble. Not too fast, not too easy. He’s going to drag this out. You’re so beautiful in misery.
- He’s going to keep you on the edge. You’re no fun, dull and broken. No, the determination that hardens your eyes and sets hard in your jaw is what makes you interesting. As much as he wants to reach inside of your chest and grip that small, fluttering thing of will and snap its neck, he needs to have self control with you. Genji has plans for you.
- There’s so much thrill to be had, he hardly knows where to start. But after watching you for a few days, of setting his heart on caging you in his hands, he makes his move.
- Chats you up in a bar, is pleased beyond measure when you’re receptive. Behaves like a perfect gentleman, even protecting you from the made-up offenses of other men. Convinces you he’s a nice guy, and makes sure you’ve had a few drinks. Slowly, you guard slips, and he uses the opportunity to take liberties with your drink.
- Flawlessly plays the part of concern when you start stumbling, and holds your hair when the nausea hits. When you’re too heavily under his drugs to see straight, he leads you gently by the hands into a sleek, nondescript car, coaxing you with gentle words all the way.
- “Someone must’ve slipped you something. Don’t worry, I’ll get you home safe.”
- You’re too suggestible to have doubts. In fact, you won’t remember this at all.
- When you come to with a pounding head and shaky limbs, you’re in nothing but your underwear and an old t-shirt that doesn’t belong to you, but smells sickeningly familiar. You stumble out of a bed that you don’t remember getting into, sheets tangling around your wobbling knees.
- The door is locked.
- Someone sighs from the mess of bedding, deep and soft with sleep. They turn over, and you see a flash of green.
- The shade makes your stomach roil with nausea. Watery memories slip through your fingers; dizziness and a deep timbre laugh. Warm hands closing around your fingers. Something cool under your cheek. The smell of oiled leather.
- The nightmare begins.
- Genji, whose name you come to believe is actually a little-known moniker of the devil, likes to keep you locked away in his room. For weeks at a time, you won’t feel the sun on your face or breathe in fresh mountain air.
- Even the windows remain stubbornly shuttered and locked. You begin to feel pale and sickly. Genji notices, and he smiles with too many teeth.
- He knows about that cherished balcony. Knows how you loved study in the open air, books spread around you like a paper halo. It’s deeply satisfying when you begin to wilt without it.
- The food is exquisite, but absolutely laced with drugs. The sickening clench of your stomach that accompanies the few hours after a meal are purely a token of cruelty. Reprimanding you for losing your stomach is a fun game.
- “What, not good enough for you delicate sensibilities? Someone slaved for over that for hours, you know. So sorry all that hard work didn’t meet your lofty standards.”
- Without the sun, your circadian rhythm is derailed completely. You never know what time it is, morning or evening, night or day. Genji’s comings and goings are purposefully erratic.
- There’s nothing to occupy you for the hours he’s away- but you can count on his absences never stretching longer than a scant day. He keeps you in his own room, which is very much lived in- but he also craves you like an addiction, and can’t stay away for long.
- You find yourself looking forward to his company. It disgusts you, and yet you haven’t seen another human face in all the time you’ve been here. You don’t know how long you’ve been here. Months? A year? The thought rocks your brain like a storm-battered ship. It takes you several minutes to remember how to breathe.
- When you open your eyes, Genji is crouched in front of you, arms slung over his knees and head cocked to the side. You want to yell- you used to yell until you went hoarse, to argue anything he said or did.
- He’d just gather up your wrists, laughing, and collapse the two of you on the mattress until you settled or he fell asleep. Arguing was a piece of who you were, before all of this. Genji had sucked it dry, amusement glinting in his eyes whenever you went off or made an attempt at disagreement.
- Sometimes, he’d indulge you, let you argue with him, would even bait you into it. And then,
- “Hey, you know what I just remembered? That it doesn’t fucking matter what you think.”
- And if the mood struck him, a pair of hands would wrap around your throat until you saw spots, until your arms wouldn’t lift to claw at his wrists. Then the pressure would release, and you’d suck down air in sweet, stinging gulps. Bursts of unhealthy color wrap around your neck like phantom imprints, slowly choking the life from you.
- He traces them with a gentle finger, and smiles. This time, it’s soft; genuine. It frightens you, more unnerving than his predatory grins.
- “I hope you never stop fighting me, babe. ‘Cause you’re gonna be here for a long time. Better make the best of it!”

Klaus Mikaelson + Roselyn
I had a dream after last nights episode. Which left me in tears.
That I turned myself... somehow... late at night whilst I was working in my studio on the final project.
I was working on carving something into layers of set paint. The chisel got stuck and it ran into my hand slicing through. I had nothing around and I was covered in dried acrylic paint specs, so I had to suck on the wound.
But because of that, I turned myself.
I didn’t notice at first, I had barely 3 weeks left before I finished college, with human blood still coursing through my veins, I was still strong and focused. able to go about my life. I had planned to move to Seattle after I graduated.
To go join an artist group in downtown, study for a year and see where things lead me. But as the weeks went on and the human blood slowly left my body, the urges and control got harder to contain. I was out one night, with friends when the alcohol must have diluted my consciousness enough that whilst we were on the floor packed and surrounded by strangers, lights strobing and music pulsing, I took my first bite into some guys neck.
It felt so good, like numbing a craving but as the blood reached beyond my lips it was like a searing pain.
I threw up, spitting it out. I came to learn that all human blood was like acid to me.
As time went on I had to leave, my mind couldn't control living around so many people. In such a hungry, weak and uncontrollable state. Eventually, someone would have noticed and I could never let that happen.
I got on the plane and left days after my graduations. I couldn't bear it any longer.
I spent years in Seattle, Portland, all along the top end of the east coast.
I was half desecrated as I would starve myself. Only able to drink small portions every so often.
I lived in total agony. Unable to die as I was no longer alive. But never able to satisfy the carnal instinct.
Life became torture. My hands and feet in a half state of desecration and my body weak. Like living in a constant state of withdrawal.
I was able to find small glimmers of stories, of this family who might be like me. from the people I met as I traveled through the national forests and cities. New Orleans seemed the place to go. Where the stories were leading me.
So I compulsed my way to New Orleans. It took so much of me, by the time I made it the desecration was creeping further than ever before. I needed to feed. Who knew how long it would take till I would find this family. I found my way to a bar hoping to find some drunk to lure in and bite, the alcohol helped to dilute the blood enough, so I could keep it down. also gave it a good kick, if you know what I mean.
I barely made it to the door, the desecration was so far up my legs and arms. I didn’t know how much left I had, the longer I go without a drink the less my compulsion worked. I stumbled into the bar and scanned the room hoping for a drunk college girl or some sad lonely guy I could get close enough too.
My head spun as I staggered over every step, dragging my stone heavy feet along the timber floor towards the bar. I stumbled and grabbed at the bar, hoping for some support. The bartender hedged closer and slowly lowered her head to mine as I rested my head on the bar.
“You need to leave, this bar is already taken by another of your kind. Go find someplace else to feed” my eyebrows pinched together. Another? what other. I knew only of myself. “ Too late dear. Hope your stong, you're going to need it to get through whatever he’s going to do to you.” I saw her move away and wondering back to the other end of the bar. Moments later I felt the sharp pang as claws dung into my spin. If I had any energy left I would scream, but didn't. So I just succumbed to the pain, letting the claws break through my nerves as I went into the darkness.
I slowly woke. eyes wincing to the light as I adjusted to the shadow lit room. I felt my hands, the tingling sensation of wiggling my finger. I can't remember the last time I could feel my fingers. Years perhaps?
I rushed up, my eyes jumped around as I took in the old elegant yet shabby room. It matched much of what I had seen whilst I researched New Orleans. A large canopy bed facing a large window, large chest of drawers, a fireplace, chandelier and writing desk. I had been placed on an antique looking daybed. Books and papers littered the shelves and in the corner a mirror. I darted to it, taking in my own reflection. My face no longer had the stone tinge to it, nor veins, I looked healthy. My hands were pinkish and my arms no longer bony. I had obviously fed. I can’t remember but perhaps whilst I had passed out whoever put me here gave me some blood.
I saw the blood stain on my shirt and pants, the holes ripped into them. Signing I went to the dresser and searched for a top or jumper of some kind to change into. I found a gray henley top. It was a little big so it fitted me rather like an oversized jumper, but at least it was clean.
I quickly changed into it and tossed my bloody and ripped clothes onto the bed and headed for the door. But it wouldn’t open. I tried again and again and again but it wouldn't budge, even with my strength it wouldn’t open. I tried the windows, and the glass would not shatter.
“Whoever put me here does not want me to leave apparently...” I mumbled to myself. Huffing I looked back at the room, hoping for something. Perhaps to let me know who this person was. Obviously, they were a man. taller than me, and very old-fashioned by the looks of his room. Antiquette old furniture, books no tv or anything modern. Yet it felt comfortable. Perhaps over time I didn't scare so easy or get frightened by the concept of the unknown. After living like I have, alone for almost 3 years now, on the move and searching for answers to questions I didn't even know.
I waited and watched as the sun moved through the sky, the only thing I really had to measure the time as there were no clocks in this room. I found a sketchbook in the draws and ink and pencils on the desk, I hadn’t been able to draw as my hands had been desecrated. So I passed the time by sketching the room, my reflection, the view from the windows. I found a hidden record player with vinyl records of classical and jazzier era music. I spent all afternoon sketching and changing the vinyls. Almost in a lull, enjoying the sunlight. As the sun went down I light up the fireplace and took a book from the shelf. ‘The Picture of Dorian Gray’ by Oscar Wild, “let's start with this one.” I whispered to myself as I started to read the book by the firelight. The story gripping my attention till the moon was descending the sky.
I spent the next several days like this. If this was a cage, how I dreamed of being forever captured, never the less every day I tried to open the door or smash through the window, to no success. I finished all the paper in the room, the logs all burnt and I had finished multiple books. However, by the last few days, my hands had started to return to stone, their feelings lost touch. I spent the most part of my days now in the bed with a book.
The door swung open and scared me to my core. Suddenly this room was no longer comfortable, nor my dream but like a crushing cage with no escape. My head snapped towards the open door, and every muscle tensing ready for whatever walked in.
I smelt them first. A mix of blood and cologne. Then he entered, a mixture of confidence that could only come from never being threatened or scared. Something I hadn’t experienced in a long, long time.
He was tall, almost 6 foot. He has light brown hair and stern face, and if I wasn't petrified I’d even say attractive. He stopped just past the entry and looked at the room, finding me, like a cowardly animal on the bed. My knees were drawn up and my hands clenching the sheets by my side.
“There you are love” his British accent cutting through room and vinyl I had playing, “well haven’t you made your self at home” he tilted his head a little “Sergei Rachmaninoff...” nodding a little as he said this. Every word seemed calculated and chosen.
He walked slowly across the room away from me, picking up the loose leaf papers I had drawn on. “You quite good. I appreciate your talents. Yet staying alive doesn’t seem to be one of them.” Within the span of his last words, he was by the bed and grabbing my hand, and in doing so my breath hitching in my throat. “I must say I’ve never seen someone desecrate quite as fast as you.”
I snatched my hand back. “It’s always been like that..” I trail off, trying to muster as much confidence I had.
“Niklaus. Mikaelson.” He looked straight at me, almost challenging me. seeing how I’d react like it was his favorite game.
I was not going to look away. “Is that meant to mean something to me?”
He chuckled at my response and grinned. “Well, I guess not. Though I never quite caught yours?”
“Roselyn... Thank-you, I should say. For helping me.” I softly say, looking away, before looking back as a slight grin appears on his face.
He suddenly disappeared and walked back in with a female trailing behind compulsed. “Here. You're looking a little pale dear.” He said gesturing to the woman. She walked straight in and sat down at the edge of the bed clearing her neck for me.
Fear. There it is again. I felt the fang appear and the urge again.
“I can’t,” I say looking away. The anguish in the pit of my stomach coming back.
“I promise, not poisoned. Now be a dear, take my gift.” The last part wasn't a request it was almost like a threat.
“You don’t understand.” I sigh. “I can’t drink human blood”
“Don’t tell me your one of those insufferable squirrel biters.” In a beat he was next to me staring into my eyes. “Drink” he compulsed me.
I sank my teeth into the woman and started to suck the blood and like always it was like acid. I pushed her away as screamed in agony spewing the blood up again. As I looked up through tears. His face was a mix of fascination and pity.
“Well, love. What have you done” His eyes a little more tender than before.
“I. Can’t. Drink. Human. Blood. It's like acid. Always has been.” I tried to say as stern as I could between the pain.
“Tell me what happened. Now.” He said. waving the woman off and took her place on the edge of the bed.
I looked at him. Debating whether to tell him. But if I didn’t he would have probably just put me under compulsion and compel it out of me.
“I turned. Myself. I don't know how, but I did and every time I feed or drink human blood or any blood... It's like drinking acid. It burns and kills me inside.” I say thinking back through the past 4 excruciating years.
“A vampire that can’t drink blood. How ironic. New, I admit that. Thousands of years and nature still has a sense of humor.” he said brushing a piece of hair off my face and looking directly at me.
Laughing a little I nod agreeing with him. “That's why I'm so desecrated.”
He paused for while. “Come with me,” he said taking my hand and pulling me up off the bed.
Pausing as he took in what I was in and looked at my body, again with a grin on his face. “As much as I like you in my top I think we should find you some clothes first.”
I had borrowed Rebekas’ clothes. A dress and jacket as that was the easiest thing to fit into. Whilst I changed, Klaus went into what seemed to be the foyer of the mansion. As I walked through the place I found how big this place was and yet how empty it was, no one seemed to be around. I joined Klaus in the courtyard area. He had a lady with him. She seeemed tense and pissed off.
“Ah you found us. Rose, this a witch. She’s here to help.” He told me, as he stepped aside and let me come more towards the witch.
“Hi..” I gave a tentative smile. She wasn’t the most welcoming.
She grabbed my hand. and started chanting. I tried to pull away and snatch my hand back. “Don’t. I’m trying to get a reading.” She almost hissed at me.
I looked at Klaus who was frowning but he hadn’t moved. So I stopped and took a deep breath, Her hand glowed where her hand met my skin.
“You’re not a vampire. Not in full. It’s like you never turned. I can feel your coldness and I can sense that you're not human. But you're also not fully a vampire. I can tell that.” She said. Looking directly at me.
“Well, now isn't this exciting,” Klaus said breaking the intense stare she had on me. “You’re not a vampire. But you’re not a Human. Is there a word for that?”
“No.” She sounded almost warningly. Like a new virus had just been discovered.
“What do I do? I asked.
“I don’t know. Why don’t you take a bite out of him that normally works for most supernatural problems around here.” she quipped, as Klaus gave a cold chuckle.
“Okay, I’ve had enough of this. Leave and forget what you sore and did here.” Klaus said as he compulsed her. She nodded and turned and walked out of the courtyard. “Helps when they aren't under vervain.” He quipped.
I felt the desecration climb a little further up my legs and hands. Their movement seizing up, and I gave out a little cry.
Klaus came straight to me and held my arms either side looking at me, “Let's get you to bed love. You seem to need to lie down.” He picked me up and within seconds we were back in his room and he was helping me to sit down.
“What did she mean when she said your blood seems to fix everything supernatural?” I asked softly.
“That’s just one of the perks of being the first hybrid dear.” he returned, answering my question.
My eyebrows knitted together. “Hybrid?”
He chuckled “Original were-wolf and Vampire. Rather interesting mix to be quite honest with you.” A werewolf? Those excist? I was taken aback. I knew what I was existed... I always wondered.
I reached up and touched his face. Looking deeper into his eyes, which he had shut as my palm touched his cheek. “Did it hurt?”
This time it was his eyebrows that knitted together as his face went from surprise to happy to a stern look. “Not anymore.’ He responded and I gave him a soft smile.
We stayed like that for a moment, he looked like he was thinking. Before he rolled up the sleeve of his dark henley top and extended his arm towards me. "Here." I looked at him puzzled. before I could open my mouth he spoke again. "Drink. It might help and if not then at least we can rule it out. So please.." he gestured again.
I sat up and lightly grabbed his arm, giving a final look towards him for reassurance. I let my fangs out and I felt the urge rush through my body. I slowly sank my teeth into his arm and began to drink.
The warm liquid was like a morphine dose mixed with an adrenalin rush, soothing and addictive simultaneously. The more I drank the more I needed it. I felt every part of my body. The sensation was like nothing I had ever experienced. I heard him grown as I drank like he too was somehow feeling it too. I had to stop though. I had to. I gripped his arm a little tighter as I tried to pull myself away. His low grown again snapping me out of my trance as I removed my fangs from his arm and sucked the last few drops before I felt the small punctures heal beneath my tongue.
Like I was coming back into reality, I looked up at Klaus. He was grinning and chuckling as he rolled back down his top. For the first time, I was able to drink. Properly drink without the pain and excruciating agony. I too started to smile and laugh.
"Thank-you," I said softly, as I felt tears escape. I enclosed him in a hug. He was stiff and taken aback but soon tightened his arms around my waist. "Thank-you", I whispered again into his ear as I continued to embrace him. He chuckled lightly. "it was nothing at all, love".
I pulled back still brimming with joy. "I've never felt that way. It was intoxicating. Is it always like that?" I asked.
Chuckling again he said, but a little deeper this time, " Yes."

One hail of a night
Storms hide all kinds of things. And activities. Some people think there is power in storms and, of course, there is. But only for those who know how to use it. Nature magic is the most unreliable, unpredictable school of our craft. That's because it is alive.
A trained mage can tell the universe what it wants done: a fireball hurled, a doorway between dimensions opened, brick melted, water parted. But when you get into earth, trees, animals, and storms... It's like the old saying "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink." Masters of nature magic are just more adept at asking questions of living things than the rest of us. Whether or not those things listen is a completely different story.
And, sometimes, nature has a way of reminding us it is a wild thing, not to be controlled, not to even be questioned. Probably the most dangerous of all the things that typical people don't realize is real, are the elementals. While they can be helpful when docile, a single one of them can be as powerful as a nuke if pissed off.
"The worst storm of the last 10 years!" was what the news had said. Normally, I would have been happy to sit at home, maybe throw on a movie or chat with Amelia, while listening to the rain beat against the window. Something about the storm didn't sit right with me though and, at about 10, I started to feel why.
Contrary to popular belief, there are only 3 elemental realms: air, rock, water. Fire is generally regarded as one unto itself but it isn't an element. Fire is generally just the visual representation of a rapid change of state, or of an periodic element breaking down into its component parts. The realm of fire actually exists between, and holding together, the other 3. It is a place you can travel to, but it isn't an element itself.
My jean jacket wasn't ideal attire for the night but my long, leather trench-coat was at the cleaners. Blood is notoriously difficult to get out and I didn't like using magic for things that could be done without it. It was too easy to fall into a pattern of over-using magic, which was a sure way to get all kinds of attention from the wrong kinds of things.
As such, I arrived at the swanky hotel drenched nearly to the bone. The gel had run out of my hair, leaving it limp and plastered to my head. I brushed it out of my eyes as I stepped into the lobby, the guy behind the counter looking at me with a moment of pity before looking back down at the daily newspaper.
Nobody takes a 17 year old kid seriously for the most part. You usually have to make them pay attention. I strode up to the attendant, tried to keep my face neutral, passive. "Hey. Any rooms free?" The guy looked up at me with a hint of a chuckle in his eye but kept it out of his voice.
"Not much tourism this time of year. Yeah, we've got rooms for the night. Cash or credit?" If he didn't believe I could pay, he hadn't let on yet. I wasn't planning on staying anyway.
"How many rooms are not free?" Alright, it was definitely a weird question to ask and I didn't blame him when he raised an eyebrow at me. A kid in a jean jacket, distressed jeans that weren't that way by design, and a shirt from a band who stopped making music 20 years ago. I was not the type to be staying at a place like this.
"Sorry kid, our customers don't like to be bothered. You can hang out in the lobby for a bit to stay out of the rain if you don't bug anyone though." He seemed like a good guy and I couldn't sense anything wrong with his aura. He was definitely not the source of the disturbance I had been feeling. Now I only needed to wait for him to be distracted so I could slip onto the elevator and start looking for who was.
After 30 minutes, nobody had come in and he wasn't drinking anything, so a bathroom break didn't seem likely either. I even tried to offer him a coffee and he gave me a look that said he wasn't falling for it and went back to his paper. I couldn't wait any longer and decided to take my chances. Worst case scenario, I'd take a fire exit out of the building.
I walked up to the elevator and hit the button, the doors opening as he came out from behind the desk, shouting that he'd call the cops, to get away from there, and I was trespassing. I stepped inside, hit the buttons for the 2nd floor and close door, and moved to the back of the car. I was lucky this was a nice hotel and the doors were quick because they closed as he got there and I got to wave at him as we faded from each others sight behind stainless steel doors.
As the elevator rose floor by floor, stopping at each one to feel around, the sense of 'wrongness' got stronger. It wasn't until I hit the top floor that I finally stepped out. A flashed illuminated the edges of a door at the end of the hall, too bright to be passive lightning from the storm, and I shook my head. Whatever this jackass was up to, they were on the roof. Of course, during a storm, let's go dance in the rain. I really hated other mages sometimes.
The door had already been busted open, so I pushed on it gently with my shoulder and peered out. A group of 3 people, 2 kneeling with their heads to pressed to the roof and 1 with their arms raised to the sky, were positioned at equidistant points around a circle. Stepping out, I noticed why the lightning flash was so bright.
A bolt of pure energy streaked from the clouds above and arched into the one with their arms raised. In the instant it took for that one to absorb the power, they were down and the next one had risen up to take the same position. Personal, magical enhancement. Supernatural steroids. In short, these 3 were juiced up on elemental speed. What worried me wasn't the trouble they could get into or the damage they could wreck while the lightning worked its way out of them. It was more the fact that it had been stopped on it's natural journey from the sky to the earth. If these fools didn't really know what they were doing or, even worse if they did, we were all about to have a bad time.
Lightning is pure energy, a creation of the same plane that fire is. In order to maintain balance between the planes, whenever one gains too much energy, it is transferred in form of fire or lightning, to whichever of the others has fallen out of balance. Pulling that energy before it gets to where it is supposed to be going throws off that balance. There are elemental guardians whose job it is to maintain that balance and they do not like it when foolish mages from other realms disrupt that. Borrowing energy from those realms is generally accepted so long as you agree to pay it back. Stealing when it is in transition is a quick way to make some very powerful enemies.
Stepping away from the door, the wind banged it shut but the junkies didn't even notice, which was probably good because I certainly didn't have a rune for a grounding spell. These guys were going to be fast but they might not be used to it. I couldn't count on that advantage though, so using my coat as a shield against the wind and rain, I started rifling through the scrolls I carried with me, hoping something would come to me before they turned around.
The best I could come up with on top of a building was a greater shielding spell. It would take a couple minutes to complete so I moved away from the door and behind an air vent to prepare. The constant thunder drowned out my chanting but lightning struck a few more times before my the shield began piecing itself together.
About 20 feet above the roof, rain started to plink off an invisible shield. It grew out quickly, forming a dome. When a bolt of lightning crashed into it, the sound from within the dome was deafening. But it did serve to wake the 3 lightning riders from their stupor as they realized their supply had been cut off. Faster than the flash of lightning, they were on their feet and looking up, watching the rain stopping above their heads and began rolling down the convex shape, away from the building. It took them longer than I expected to figure it out, but as soon as they did they began zipping around the rooftop, looking for the source of the shield, looking for me.
I banged my wrists together, crossing one over the other, activating a camouflage rune that helped me blend into the concrete of the rooftop. One of the junkies moved with an inch of my foot but I held still, knowing I couldn't possibly keep up with their magically gifted speed until some of it started to wear off. The only upside to this encounter was that the energy burned through the body fast. If I could stay hidden for another 5 minutes, I might be able to hit them with a sleep spell and end all of this before anyone got hurt.
That's when the night got really bad.
I felt it, both from the shockwave and from the sudden feedback of my shield being ripped asunder. A rift opened in the sky, to non-magical folk it just would have looked like an angry cloud, and a bolt of lightning streaked through the barrier, hitting the roof sending shards of concrete flying, and took a vaguely humanoid shape. With a quick look around, the elemental spotted the 3 mages and shrunk slightly before a hissing sound started and it felt like all of the air was being sucked out of the world. The mages dropped to the ground and began scrabbling for hand-holds. Slowly they were being pulled toward it, the elemental looking to reclaim it's stolen energy.
As much as I felt like these fools deserved what would, undoubtedly, be a painful experience, they were people and it was kind of my job to protect them. I stepped out from my hiding place, letting the camouflage spell drop, and began dragging the index and middle fingers of my right-hand down my left forearm repeatedly, letting bolts of flame erupt from my left wrist, slamming into the vibrating form of the elemental. They had almost no impact, since lightning and flame share a plane, but it did get it's attention and it was the only spell I had readily available.
I had to get it off the roof but that would require me to make it more mad than the mages had. And the only way to do that was a siphoning spell, which I was fairly definitely against. I grasped by right wrist with my left hand causing the runes in both places to ignite. Raising my hand, a wall of earth erected itself between the elemental and the other mages. I wouldn't be able to maintain the spell for long, since the earth was out of place on a rooftop and the roof probably wasn't graded to hold up an extra couple tonnes of rock. Getting in the way of the elemental and it's reclamation certainly did the trick though.
It rushed at me across the rooftop, slamming into the shields I had just barely managed to get up by snapping my fingers. It launched the both of us from the roof, falling nearly 20 stories. I tried to catch myself on what remained of my shields but, already weakened by the impact from the elemental, the fall was too much. I expected as much and was ready for the landing but it still drove the wind from my lungs. The elemental wasn't going to let me catch my breath but I at least had the advantage of being on the ground now. I just had to find a something that was rooted firmly in the ground and try and sap it's strength.
It burst forward in a rage, it's arms flashing out like whips, and cut into my shoulder, thigh, and hip. The wounds were instantly cauterized but the pain and the slight smell of burnt flesh was enough to make my head spin. I was still trying to catch my breath but I pushed myself up to me feet as a lightning tendril wrapped around my foot. With a clap of my hands, a gateway opened up in front of me, cutting off the arm of the elemental. It simply fizzled and returned to it's own realm, but the things staring through that door licked their monstrous lips as they prepared to come through to our world. Closing it drained more of my energy than I had expected, whatever was on the other side wanted to come through, badly.
My strength waning, the storm still raging, and a pissed off elemental standing 15 feet away from me, it was the first time I had felt like, maybe, this time I might not be fine. I spotted a metal fence, with metal posts hammered into the ground, that would serve perfectly for dissipating the elemental, but it was at least 50 feet down the road. My lungs burned with the effort of breathing, my shoulder, hip, and leg all roared with anger, and the elemental was looking back up to the rooftop.
I made a break for the fence. The sudden movement was enough to get the attention of the elemental again. It moved faster than I ever could have and I didn't have the power left to enhance myself. As another tendril lashed out in whip-like fashion, I threw myself to the side, landing hard on the pavement and rolling with it, getting back to my feet as quickly as I could. 2 more whip-smacks cracked off the street beside me as I ran, the ring I worn on a silver necklace began growing hot. It was enchanted with a simple luck spell but that was already starting to wear out. I managed to get passed the elemental, it's arms lashing out at my back. One caught my shoulder blade, sending pain like white hot flames up and down my back, another caught my neck and caused my vision to go dark momentarily. The ring went cold and the spell expired. 20 feet...
On instinct, I spun to the side as another attack barely missed. 15 feet. I brought a hand up and held out out in front of me, closed my eyes and poured the last bits of energy I had into 1 final spell. I turned quickly to face the elemental and pointed my hand at the ground, releasing a burst of air that threw me backwards for the remaining distance. My back slammed into the fence causing to rock and the newly gained breath to be driven out again. I had nothing left as the elemental was on me again, it's arms raised in anger as they came down onto my nearly limp form. As they touched me, my vision went white and I passed out.
An ambulance showed up at some point and I remember telling them I was fine. At that point, I probably looked enough like a vagrant that they were just happy I wasn’t dead. I didn’t really come to until the hail started falling. My muscles ached with where the elemental had literally gone through my body and into the fence post behind, the flow of current forcing it into the dirt, pulling enough of its energy that it was forced back to its own plane. I could feel a nasty burn on my side, just below my ribs, where it must have touched me. I guess crop tops were out for a bit.
My jacket was soaked through at that point but the denim still protected against the pellets of ice, so I took it off and toss it over my head as a makeshift umbrella, spreading it out with my hands. The walk home was slow. Evidently it was after 1 because the buses had stopped running. It was almost 4 by the time I snuck back in my window. There was no way Amelia was going to believe this story tomorrow. Getting into my pjs was the last thing I could do before collapsing into my bed. At least it was Friday and I wouldn’t have to try and stay awake in class tomorrow.
