My experience with my orientation and hender: A ramble by an omni gay trans guy.

I've had.. a lot of different experiences with my orientation. It's changed quite a bit over the years, some changes took years, others took months.

My first time I realised I wasn't straight- I realised I liked both girls and boys. I was probably around 11 or 12, and found the idea of bisexuality through a youtube video- one of those storytime channels, in which someone described their experience being bisexual. It felt right, hearing that, so I privately started identifying as bisexual. I became more public about it when I was 12 or 13 at school.

I attended a catholic school, and many students there were unfortunately homophobic. I was exploring my gender privately around this time, and I was starting to realise just bisexual didn't fit- I felt I was a genderfluid, bisexual lesbian. I was definitely more interested in women, both romantically and sexually, but I still had interest in men- but not in a way that was typical. My interest in men was bisexual, but my interest in women was lesbian in nature, if that makes sense.

When I became 14, I was introduced to the mogai community and the concept of microlabels. I was a little confused by them, but I was in a mogai server, which helped me explore my identity a lot more. I realised I was a genderfluid trans man, and that pansexual was starting to make more sense to me, and fit me more around this time than the label bisexual lesbian did. I also started identifying as multigender around this time.

Fifteen is when I fully started embracing xenogenders. I also took in some labels around orientation, but those I was very nervous about. I coined some of my own terms, xenogenders, and had started to find myself more- But then an event happened. I was harassed for being a trans man by a cis lesbian, and she had threatened to 'fix me'. After this, I had lost all my romantic interest in women- especially cis women.

I started to accept myself omnisexual, which took a lot of time, but I'm glad I did. I also accepted the fact I was fictosexual around this time.

When I was 15-16, most likely early 16, when I realised I wasn't *just* omnisexual. I was sexually interested in every gender, with a preference for men, yes, but.. No romantic interest in women. I was Homoromantic. Finally. I felt like I was me- Properly me.

Seventeen.. I think this was when I fully accepted the fact I was objectum. The idea had been brewing in my head for years, but finally, I felt comfortable being objectum. I also believe I felt more confident in my alterhumanity around here, and much more comfortable being polyamorous then I was in the past.

Eighteen: Which is now. I am still an Omni Gay, and I have decided I am comfortable enough to admit to myself that I'm homoflexible, that my attraction to women is dependent on whether or not my partners currently identify as woman at the time or not. There's other bits of my identity I didn't touch on here, like my demisexuality, my aegosexuality, and so on, but this post delves into the main point of my identity.

no one, i repeat NO ONE, ordains the details of queer labels and who can or cant identify as what, or if a label can be used at all or not! not even if they are of the identity theyre trying to enforce rules on!

just because some rando may walk up to the gate of a public park and begin trying to control who can or cant enter doesnt mean its their property!

go, be free and queer, even with the most complex and weird and confusing labels! nothing can tie you down! (unless youre into that)

"test subject" can be replaced with "lab rat" "experiment" "whumpee" or any other term that feels suitable.

(this term is based on media where an existing character is changed in experiments, if you were looking for something like "scientist creates a new being" like frankenstein's monster, try Monster+Creator.)

I wish there were more posts on malgendering sharing many different trans experiences. I think every trans person (and likely other LGBTQIA+ and GNC folk) have experiences with it and it’s so insidious.

So. This is going to be an open post for LGBTQIA+ folk, particularly trans and intersex folk, to talk about your experiences with malgendering.

Malgendering is when you’re gendered correctly, but that gendering is treated negatively or used to justify bad treatment. It could include a wide range of behaviors, from trying to silence trans people who discuss their experiences from before coming out to being passive aggressive about gendering someone correctly to using a trans person’s gender so justify violence.

Do you have any experiences with Malgendering that you’d like to share? Aspects of it that you want others to understand? Would you prefer being misgendered or malgendered? This is a post to share your experiences and thoughts! (While respecting others.)

My special interests are a part of my identity, a part of me.

When people insult my special interests it makes me very sad, because it feels like they are insulting a part of me. I know they aren't, but it feels like it anyway because my special interests are so so important to me, and parts of my identity directly relate to them, and sometimes my identity literally is them (Example: I use the boydead xenogender as a result of a part of my identity that formed through my oddities special interest), and my special interests make me feel safe, and more.

I, personally, can not separate myself as a person from my special interests because my special interests are a part of my person. BASIL from OMORI describes myself and my identity. I would not know that without my OMORI special interest. The 2022 Riddler describes myself and my identity. I would not know that without my DC and Paul Dano special interests. Etc.

Similarly to how I feel sad and insulted when my special interests are spoken about in a negative manor, the opposite is also true. People complimenting my SPINs makes me feel happy, and proud, like they are complimenting me.

I hope that makes sense. If it doesn't that's okay, too. I was just thinking about it and decided it would be an intresting post.

Gender Autism Pride Flag

Gender Autism or Autistic of Gender: describing someone who experiences autism as a result of one's gender; for when one experiences gender in an autistic way, or autism in a gender way; or someone whose gender has autistic traits.

Despite its definition, this is for autistics only (as if it was a reclaimed term). I didn't think autigender transcripted my feelings just as saying "gender autism".
