Every now and again I break out into laughter when I remember that Jihyun knocked out a guard when he was sneaking back into Mint Eye because he is the last guy I expect to get the slip on somebody. But, undoubtedly, that is what makes it funny.

I know he loves to go on hikes and long forest trails, so you know in his better days when it wasn't a struggle to work out, he had strong legs for long-distance endurance, but I know that man doesn't have that much upper body strength. So that, more often than not, leads me to ask myself what he used to knock the Believer out. He uses his position as gardener and someone in the information team to get in and out of the place, so did Jihyun just use a shovel or something? Seriously, I know he didn't use his bare hands.

we received a request that ended up being for this fic late one saturday night and comrade andrew queued it up — you know, business as usual…at least i thought, until i woke up sunday morning and checked our inbox and we had at leasttt 15 asks that all said some variation of “SLITHER!!!!!! 521 IS SLITHER BY MIXADDAMS!!!!!”

my curiosity was of course instantly piqued as that is quite a high volume of responses to receive for one request. my taste in setting is pretty pedestrian (i love you hawkins) and i spend most of my time reading post-s4 getting together fics so modern aus aren’t usually my go-to, especially not modern aus that deal with communities that i am incredibly out of touch with in real life like podcasting and influencing, but i was honestly blown away by the unprecedented number of people who knew and loved this fic that i was like holy shit…maybe i need to read this. like right now. and boy am i glad i did because this fic was an absolute delight in every way!

i laughed out loud so many times, giggled, smiled, kicked my feet, the whole nine yards. i loved the characterizations and the growth that both steve and eddie go through was beautiful to witness. the feelings that the two of them have for each other were so strong and so palpable and i was completely absorbed in the atmosphere of it. most of all it was just really fun to read — could not recommend this one more!

why: the love interest is freaky as hell for the main character its hilarious. their whole relationship is the aita response of you two are perfect for each other dont get anyone else involved in what you have going on ever. the plot is really good and i have dropped my jaw many a time. i read all 200 chapters in less than a week. dont read just for the romance read for a good apocalypse story

I honestly had a scene written out where she walks in on them and it’s like that one Bo Burnham sound of “prolonged eye contact (prolonged eye contact), prolonged eye contact (prolonged eye contact)” until she gets so awkward she leaves. Nobody speaks to each other for several days. The urge to make it canon is so so strong.
